:07:12. > :07:17.Of course, what really matters is how much of your

:07:18. > :07:26.And that's why we've come to the Cotswolds,

:07:27. > :07:29.because here we discovered that rent takes a bigger chunk out of people's

:07:30. > :07:31.wages than anywhere else in the West Country.

:07:32. > :07:34.In fact, an analysis of Government official figures shows that

:07:35. > :07:36.for every ?100 of wages here in the Cotswolds

:07:37. > :07:46.B - because there's been a shortage of housing in the recent past,

:08:10. > :08:13.It's Christmas, no one's going to want to move.

:08:14. > :08:16.But actually we were incredibly lucky and within two or three weeks

:08:17. > :08:19.This is a fairly typical house we might let.

:08:20. > :08:21.It's a three-bedroom detached property.

:08:22. > :08:23.A few miles outside Tetbury, we look around a typical

:08:24. > :08:37.We'd be very hopeful of getting somebody in virtually

:08:38. > :08:39.the first couple of weeks with something like this.

:08:40. > :08:42.And that's the sort of turnaround we've been seeing recently.

:08:43. > :08:45.And what about those people who live in the town

:08:46. > :08:51.Yeah, no, I think there is an element of that.

:08:52. > :08:54.Property is still rented very quickly.

:08:55. > :08:57.Living in such a desirable area with so many positive factors,

:08:58. > :09:00.it really helps property fly off the shelves and they go quickly

:09:01. > :09:04.We can't really argue with that as estate agents.

:09:05. > :09:08.Sarah Farmer has the weather for tonight and into the weekend.

:09:09. > :09:17.Tonight is looking like a cloudy and dry affair, but it will be

:09:18. > :09:23.That easterly breeze that we had with us earlier stays with us

:09:24. > :09:26.through the course of the night and it will feel a little

:09:27. > :09:30.on the chilly side if you are venturing out.

:09:31. > :09:34.It does just about enough to stop any frost through

:09:35. > :09:37.the course of tonight and means we start the day tomorrow morning

:09:38. > :09:40.on a bit of a chilly note, but quite a bit of cloud

:09:41. > :09:42.We will gradually see that cloud thinning

:09:43. > :09:46.It will become bright and dry throughout.

:09:47. > :09:48.Into the afternoon, doing quite nicely for some sunshine with

:09:49. > :09:54.Feeling pleasantly warm where you are sheltered from that breeze.

:09:55. > :09:57.But that nagging wind will just take the edge off by day.

:09:58. > :10:00.So through tomorrow night, any cloud is filtered out and we can

:10:01. > :10:02.expect some drier air through the course

:10:03. > :10:05.Temperatures as a result take a tumble.

:10:06. > :10:09.Clear skies, temperatures down to 2-3 degrees in towns and cities.

:10:10. > :10:12.Still a bit of a breeze but some sheltered spots could be prone

:10:13. > :10:15.to a little bit of frost here and there.

:10:16. > :10:18.A touch of frost is possible to start the weekend for some.

:10:19. > :10:20.But overall, checking out quite nicely.

:10:21. > :10:23.It will stay dry throughout the weekend, some decent sunny

:10:24. > :10:27.spells, particularly on Saturday, and we will still have an easterly

:10:28. > :10:30.flow, but gradually through the course of the day

:10:31. > :10:34.Sunday is looking to be the cloudier of the two days.

:10:35. > :10:36.It's all courtesy of this area of high pressure.

:10:37. > :10:40.We'll stay nice and settled through the course of the weekend,

:10:41. > :10:43.those winds easing down and some sunny spells at times.

:10:44. > :10:46.Here's your summary for the coming days.

:10:47. > :10:49.Through tomorrow, some cloudy spells but some brightness

:10:50. > :11:03.part of the weekend. 1415 degrees. Still quite breezy. Here's Thomas
