:00:02. > :00:04.Hello, I'm Sally Taylor. Welcome to South Today. In tonight's

:00:04. > :00:09.programme: On location - the jurors in the

:00:09. > :00:11.Georgina Edmonds murder trial visit the scene of her killing.

:00:11. > :00:19.Hundreds of firefighters tackle a warehouse blaze, but for one

:00:19. > :00:24.business, it's the second time in months. I had only just got back on

:00:25. > :00:28.my feet after the last fire and then 1st December, the first phone

:00:28. > :00:31.call I get is a friend telling me my Warehouse has burned down.

:00:31. > :00:35.Business is booming for one south coast company with worldwide orders

:00:36. > :00:45.for years. And actors needed as a Horsham film

:00:46. > :00:53.

:00:53. > :00:57.company recreates a piece of second Tracing the steps of a man on trial,

:00:57. > :01:00.jurors have today visited the site where Georgina Edmonds was killed.

:01:00. > :01:04.The pensioner was found beaten to death in her home in Brambridge

:01:04. > :01:14.near Eastleigh in 2008. Matthew Hamlen from Bishopstoke denies her

:01:14. > :01:15.

:01:15. > :01:20.murder. Alex Forsyth reports. Set back from the road in a

:01:20. > :01:24.peaceful spot is fig Tree Cottage. Today the jury came here to see

:01:24. > :01:30.where Georgina Edmonds died. They were shown the kitchen where her

:01:30. > :01:34.body was found by her son Harry. The jury heard that the 77 year-old

:01:34. > :01:40.was tortured before being beaten to death with her own marble rolling

:01:40. > :01:45.pin in January 2008. The jury made their way along this

:01:45. > :01:50.tow path that runs past Mrs Edmans home. It was here that her mobile

:01:50. > :01:56.phone was found discarded in undergrowth a few weeks after her

:01:56. > :02:02.death. The prosecution says it is this route that Matthew Hamlen took

:02:02. > :02:08.after killing her. From fig leaf -- fig Tree Cottage,

:02:08. > :02:14.the jury went on to other sites. They were taken to the Tesco

:02:14. > :02:20.Express store. This is where a man, the prosecution say, his Matthew

:02:20. > :02:25.Hamlen was caught on CCTV trying to withdraw cash using Mrs Edmans card.

:02:25. > :02:29.The jury was then bought to this green where a man of the same

:02:30. > :02:34.description was seen putting something in a dog waste bin on the

:02:34. > :02:38.night of the death. The last stop on the visit was here,

:02:39. > :02:44.the present, where Mr Hamlen lived at the time. The prosecution said

:02:44. > :02:49.that the jury has traced the steps that must have known talk after he

:02:50. > :02:55.killed Georgina Edmonds. Matthew Hamlen who is 33 denies murder. The

:02:55. > :02:57.case continues. An investigation is underway into a

:02:57. > :03:00.serious fire that has destroyed a number of industrial units in

:03:00. > :03:03.Basingstoke. More than a hundred firefighters from Hampshire,

:03:03. > :03:06.Berkshire and Surrey tackled the blaze in Bessemer Road. One

:03:06. > :03:10.business affected belongs to Robbie Fraser from the town and, as David

:03:10. > :03:20.Allard explains, it's not the first time his company has been hit by

:03:20. > :03:25.

:03:25. > :03:30.A spectacular fire at, capping an unlucky year for one Hampshire

:03:30. > :03:32.businessman. I supply affordable musical

:03:33. > :03:37.instruments for education authorities. All of my stock was

:03:37. > :03:42.destroyed three months ago down in Lasham and there was a fire there.

:03:42. > :03:47.I have just got back on my feet and on the 1st December, exactly the

:03:47. > :03:51.same thing happened. This one obviously his lightly soiled

:03:51. > :03:59.because it was destroyed in the last fire and I have another 150 of

:03:59. > :04:02.these in the Warehouse. It is a double whammy.

:04:02. > :04:08.Malcolm runs another company on site. Last night he feared the

:04:08. > :04:14.worst. I had a horrendous bang because at the flames were 15 or 20

:04:14. > :04:19.ft above the building. Last night I was wondering if insurance would

:04:19. > :04:25.cover everything especially with the financial climate at the moment.

:04:25. > :04:29.It things things will get worse, I was worrying. The fire separation

:04:29. > :04:33.of the building has held the fireback very well so the rear of

:04:33. > :04:39.the building, the roof has collapsed and there walls as well.

:04:39. > :04:42.Our crew worked efficiently to stop the fire spreading. Fire

:04:42. > :04:46.investigators are trying to establish how and where the fire

:04:46. > :04:50.started. Insurance loss adjusters are standing by to assess the

:04:50. > :04:53.damage, but for businesses here, this fire is the last thing that

:04:53. > :04:56.they needed. A Royal Navy captain from Southsea

:04:56. > :04:59.and his crew have helped capture pirates in the Indian Ocean.

:04:59. > :05:01.Captain Gerry Northwood of The Royal Auxilliary Fleet Ship Fort

:05:01. > :05:07.Victoria, assisted with the rescue of a group of fisherman attacked

:05:07. > :05:10.off the coast of Somalia. Royal Marines arrested seven people. The

:05:10. > :05:13.ship is now transferring them to the Seychelles.

:05:13. > :05:20.Sussex Police say no further action will be taken against a 33-year-old

:05:20. > :05:23.man from Worthing who was arrested on suspicion of animal cruelty. He

:05:23. > :05:26.was arrested after a dog, which was dragged underneath his car, was

:05:26. > :05:36.killed. Officers investigating the incident believe it was an accident

:05:36. > :05:37.

:05:37. > :05:40.and not deliberate. It's millions of pounds in debt and

:05:40. > :05:42.runs many of Bournemouth Council's services. The company Mouchel

:05:42. > :05:47.published its accounts today, confirming fears that it's in

:05:47. > :05:52.serious financial trouble. Bournemouth has outsourced a number

:05:52. > :05:57.of departments to Mouchel and was due to extend its contract. Now

:05:57. > :06:00.that's in doubt. Caroline Richardson has more.

:06:00. > :06:03.The council's contract with Mouchel was worth 300 million over ten

:06:03. > :06:09.years. It took over four departments, including IT and

:06:09. > :06:11.Benefits, and wanted to take over more, including HR and Finance. If

:06:11. > :06:13.more, including HR and Finance. If other councils could be persuaded

:06:13. > :06:19.to come on board, Bournemouth believed it could cut the budget by

:06:19. > :06:23.40% and create 600 jobs. Millions of pounds have been saved, but only

:06:23. > :06:25.20 new jobs have been created. The council is now looking into

:06:25. > :06:30.Mouchel's financial stability before transferring any more staff

:06:30. > :06:35.or departments or extending the contract. Today, Mouchel posted

:06:35. > :06:38.annual losses of 65 million. As well as handling some of

:06:38. > :06:41.Bournemouth Council's departments, it has contracts with the MOD, BAE

:06:41. > :06:45.Systems and looks after hundreds of miles of motorways and trunk roads

:06:45. > :06:48.in England. Its shares fell by 25% following

:06:48. > :06:55.today's announcement and its Chief Executive predicted that more pain

:06:55. > :06:58.was to come. UNISON says it's always been sceptical of Mouchel.

:06:58. > :07:04.The union wants an even more thorough review of outsourcing as a

:07:04. > :07:06.whole and proof that real savings are being made.

:07:06. > :07:08.A new production line for A new production line for

:07:08. > :07:10.hovercraft has been officially opened in Southampton today.

:07:11. > :07:15.Griffon Hoverwork, based in Woolston, has doubled its staffing

:07:15. > :07:18.in two years with almost all the orders coming from outside the UK.

:07:18. > :07:19.And, as our transport correspondent Paul Clifton explains, this is a

:07:19. > :07:28.manufacturing business that's booming despite the economic

:07:28. > :07:32.climate. Ben Pratt puts the finishing

:07:32. > :07:36.touches to stay too small harbour craft. They are destined for

:07:36. > :07:40.Indonesia. Then started as an apprentice and the company is

:07:41. > :07:45.recruiting more. At the moment we have five apprentices working in

:07:45. > :07:48.different trades doing day-release to colleges.

:07:48. > :07:54.On the production line, big aircraft on the way. This is

:07:54. > :07:59.griffon hovercraft's largest ever order. A dozen vessels for the

:07:59. > :08:04.Indian Coast Guard. It is an enormous bill for us. We have three

:08:04. > :08:11.years' work for this project. Thereafter we have customer support,

:08:11. > :08:15.training, training pilots, training engineers after-sales. So, you know,

:08:16. > :08:20.it is years of work for as potentially.

:08:20. > :08:25.Rob is an experienced pilot. A world of the craft racing champion,

:08:25. > :08:31.he was also a stunt pilot in a James Bond film. This hovercraft

:08:32. > :08:38.was built for the Royal Marines, but 85% of Griffon Hoverwork's

:08:38. > :08:43.business is overseas. They have 170 craft in 40 countries. And a full

:08:43. > :08:50.order book. The Indian Coast Guard order for 12 has led to an Indian

:08:50. > :08:56.Army contract which is currently under discussion for 80 something

:08:56. > :09:01.that, -- hovercraft. Sir if 12 was something stupendous, 80 world

:09:01. > :09:05.result in work for this part of the Solent long into the future. That

:09:05. > :09:10.is but one of many seriously important contracts that we are

:09:10. > :09:16.pitching for. The company now also has firm orders from coastguards in

:09:16. > :09:21.Canada and Coria. There is work for years to come. With 160 staff, the

:09:21. > :09:24.company has doubled in size in a last two years and plans to do the

:09:24. > :09:26.same again. The shadow armed forces minister

:09:27. > :09:30.says extra funding for Rushmoor council, after an influx of former

:09:30. > :09:35.Gurkha soldiers, is just scratching the surface of the problem. Kevan

:09:35. > :09:38.Jones met those dealing with the new arrivals today. He acknowledged

:09:38. > :09:41.his Conservative opposite, local MP Gerald Howarth, had been right to

:09:41. > :09:44.warn of problems when the last government agreed to let the former

:09:44. > :09:50.Gurkhas's settle in Britain. But the real worry now was what to do

:09:50. > :09:55.with an influx of many aged Nepalis. The majority of people it coming

:09:55. > :10:00.into Aldershot part of retirement age and above. That will create a

:10:00. > :10:05.real problem in the future in terms of social services. That serious

:10:05. > :10:15.piece of work needs to be done. Still to come in this evening's

:10:15. > :10:17.

:10:17. > :10:22.South Today: The excitement builds It is fair to say ASE Totton will

:10:22. > :10:25.never go to Wembley with a chance of lifting the Cup, so it has

:10:26. > :10:28.indeed come to them today. More details later.

:10:29. > :10:33.HMS Victory will undergo a 16 million restoration as part of a

:10:33. > :10:38.five year contract awarded to BAE Systems. Vital maintenance work

:10:38. > :10:40.began at Portsmouth's Historic Dockyard in July. This will be one

:10:40. > :10:45.of the most extensive overhauls of Nelson's Flagship since she was

:10:45. > :10:49.repaired following the Battle of Trafalgar in 1805. She'll stay open

:10:49. > :10:52.to the public as the work takes place.

:10:52. > :10:56.Residents in Brighton and Hove are being faced with higher council tax

:10:56. > :10:59.bills next year to maintain services. The green led authority,

:11:00. > :11:05.in its first budget, is rejecting a government grant to keep the tax

:11:05. > :11:10.frozen. Instead it wants to increase bills by 3.5% to avoid

:11:10. > :11:19.cutting even more services. Sean Killick is in our Brighton newsroom.

:11:19. > :11:21.Sean. Here is Britain's first add the

:11:21. > :11:26.green council budget proposal and the Greens are finding that they

:11:27. > :11:31.have to juggle principles are practicalities. They need to fight

:11:31. > :11:36.17 million of savings which will mean job losses, cuts in services

:11:36. > :11:39.and they are proposing a 57p per week average increase in council

:11:40. > :11:45.tax. The mayor's car will soon have a

:11:45. > :11:51.different registration number. Its historic plate will be sold to

:11:51. > :11:54.raise 150,000 for Community grants. It is just one measure announced in

:11:54. > :12:04.this green Party budget. Their top priority is protecting the

:12:04. > :12:05.

:12:05. > :12:09.vulnerable, but some services, such as road maintenance, will be cut.

:12:09. > :12:13.The coalition government is cutting its support to the City by a third

:12:13. > :12:17.over four years and we are having to make difficult decisions because

:12:17. > :12:25.of that. Some of the road maintenance will not happen, we

:12:25. > :12:30.have to judge that against a child going into care. 120 jobs may go

:12:30. > :12:37.despite the increasing council tax. The government is offering millions

:12:37. > :12:39.if councils free council tax, but Brighton has declined.

:12:39. > :12:43.I think that is a huge mistake because they will be asking

:12:43. > :12:51.families in Brighton to pay more at a time when they should be on their

:12:51. > :12:57.side. Today there were mixed views. We should not do it. Why not?

:12:57. > :13:01.the moment, in this day and age, no one can afford it all the time.

:13:01. > :13:06.Phil that our council is good and if they feel they need to increase

:13:06. > :13:10.it to provide services, then that is probably what they need to do.

:13:10. > :13:16.Labour criticised parking feet services and say the council tax

:13:16. > :13:21.will rise by 10% in three years. Conservatives were equally critical.

:13:21. > :13:26.They have certainly declared war on the mare to assist -- motorists,

:13:26. > :13:30.but we also see library hours reduced, graffiti squad sun all the

:13:30. > :13:34.things important are the people of Brighton and Hove.

:13:34. > :13:40.The council is now starting a two- month consultation. On their

:13:40. > :13:45.website they even have a budget simulator. You can add or takeaway

:13:45. > :13:50.money from certain budget. I am having a go at putting at 10%

:13:50. > :13:56.increase on the early years and child care budget. Cutting my

:13:56. > :13:59.increase at the moment is 18%, so nobody would vote for me.

:13:59. > :14:02.He was killed while out riding his bike, just days after his 12th

:14:02. > :14:06.birthday. Today friends and family of Steven Millington remembered him

:14:06. > :14:08.during a sponsored cycle in Basingstoke. Since his death, five

:14:08. > :14:13.years ago, Steven's parents have been working to improve cycle

:14:13. > :14:21.safety and today they opened a new bike lane in his memory. Sarah

:14:21. > :14:25.Holmes reports. Stephen Millington died just a few

:14:25. > :14:30.days after his 12th birthday when he was knocked off his bike on a

:14:30. > :14:34.narrow road. We would like to offer our heartfelt thanks for all of you

:14:34. > :14:39.who have taken part in this sponsored ride.

:14:39. > :14:43.Today, a new cycle lane was opened in Stephen's memory. His friends

:14:43. > :14:49.and family have been working to make it possible.

:14:49. > :14:53.It is an awful, awful experience that she would not wish on anyone.

:14:53. > :14:59.This path is our way of trying to ensure that that will not happen to

:14:59. > :15:04.other people going forward. Yes, it is very, it is nice to know that

:15:04. > :15:08.something has come out of the tragic loss of our son, to be

:15:08. > :15:12.honest. More than 20 of Stephen's friends

:15:12. > :15:16.cycled the new bike lane. They are raising money for a permanent

:15:16. > :15:20.memorial on the path. It is now said everyone has come

:15:20. > :15:25.together to do the sponsored bike ride and show their respect to him

:15:25. > :15:33.and his parents. It is a really good thing. I'm really happy I took

:15:33. > :15:37.part. It is nice, everyone still remembers. It is a nice feeling.

:15:37. > :15:44.Every year in the UK, more than 17,000 cyclists are killed or

:15:44. > :15:48.injured, a quarter children. Break, the red cycling charity, says

:15:48. > :15:53.cycling should be encouraged, but more should be done to protect

:15:53. > :15:57.cyclists. Stephen Billington's parents hope the work they have

:15:57. > :16:03.done in Basingstoke will protect other families from the tragic loss

:16:03. > :16:07.they have suffered. They may not be elite athletes, but

:16:08. > :16:12.seven volunteer sailors are living the Olympic dream. The crew of The

:16:12. > :16:16.Boat Project have met for the first time. Next year they'll sail a boat

:16:16. > :16:24.made of pieces of wood donated by members of the public. Its part of

:16:24. > :16:28.the Cultural Olympiad. Ed Sherry has the story.

:16:28. > :16:35.Among the mass and the sleek lines of the yacht, they hope that

:16:35. > :16:39.something beautiful will emerge. Over 1200 donations of Ward were

:16:39. > :16:43.donated, they have been catalogued and now the hard task begins.

:16:43. > :16:47.of the square objects have been taped up, but will be fitted

:16:47. > :16:56.together to form a background. Then, over the top of these will be items

:16:56. > :17:03.which are less square. More familiar items. I have a tennis

:17:03. > :17:07.racket appeal. These objects late in and get cut into the side.

:17:07. > :17:12.The boat will launch in May. These are the seven who will take the

:17:12. > :17:16.helm. It is just such an interesting idea.

:17:16. > :17:20.The cross over of the arts with something very much to do with the

:17:20. > :17:26.Olympics, something community-based, just the whole idea I fell in love

:17:26. > :17:32.with. The Olympic torch goes a long land and we are going along the sea.

:17:32. > :17:37.That is how we are looking at it. It is something special that we get

:17:37. > :17:41.to be involved in. They all novice sailors who met for

:17:41. > :17:45.the first time to take part in a series of team-building exercises.

:17:45. > :17:50.They caught up with their idea of being involved in the Olympics.

:17:50. > :17:56.To be part of something like this alongside the Olympics is a real

:17:56. > :17:59.privilege. I am looking forward to every part of it. The training, the

:18:00. > :18:06.meetings and then at the end, sailing down the Thames to the

:18:06. > :18:10.opening a Olympics is a bonus. boat will then be part of the great

:18:10. > :18:14.cultural -- cultural celebration. Here, the boat will be a great

:18:14. > :18:20.symbol. As the eyes of the world turn to

:18:20. > :18:26.London for the sport next year, the artists here hope that it will

:18:26. > :18:29.showcase their creative talents on the world's biggest age.

:18:29. > :18:31.The crew clearly looking forward to next year.

:18:31. > :18:34.Onto sport and AFC Totton's preparations for the weekend's FA

:18:34. > :18:44.Cup tie are being partly interrupted tonight by a special

:18:44. > :18:47.

:18:47. > :18:53.guest. And no, Tony, it's not you. This is still the best trophy of

:18:53. > :18:58.the lot. The One That kid's dream about. As I said earlier, it is not

:18:58. > :19:08.the kind of day it that they have see Tottenham -- AFC Tottenham will

:19:08. > :19:14.have. It has come here ahead of a massive game on Sunday. The

:19:14. > :19:20.furthest Potterne have ever got in the competition. Round one was

:19:20. > :19:26.starring for this man. He went into the record books by their -- for

:19:26. > :19:29.the fastest hat-trick. What has life been like? It has been crazy.

:19:30. > :19:35.I have had people coming up to me all the time and newspapers

:19:35. > :19:39.contacting me. Are you looking forward to Sunday? I think all of

:19:39. > :19:46.the boys are looking forward to it especially with live TV coming year.

:19:46. > :19:52.We are all buzzing to get going. Player of the round as well. Let's

:19:52. > :19:56.talk to the assistant manager. A good distraction tonight?

:19:56. > :20:01.Yes, fabulous. It came a few weeks ago and we had the chance to have a

:20:02. > :20:10.photograph with it. It is nice to have it here. Can you win this tie

:20:10. > :20:17.and go through? 100%. We have a full squad of people. Some will be

:20:18. > :20:23.sat on the bench, but like I said, we are strong. We have 20 lads

:20:23. > :20:29.ready to rock and roll and do the job. We wish you good luck. A few

:20:29. > :20:31.more people will have a look at the Cup tonight. Let's talk through

:20:31. > :20:34.other news today. Reading Football Club have

:20:34. > :20:37.announced losses of more than five million for the last financial year.

:20:37. > :20:41.It's in contrast to a profit of 1.4 million in the previous accounts.

:20:41. > :20:43.The club put the loss down to their no longer receiving the Premier

:20:43. > :20:46.League parachute payment. Reading say they're in good financial

:20:46. > :20:47.health. The accounts show Sir John Madejski, the club's long term

:20:47. > :20:50.benefactor, has loaned Reading 26.3 million.

:20:50. > :20:55.No regrets. That's the message from Michael Appleton today as he faces

:20:55. > :20:59.up to an impending cash shortage at Portsmouth Football club. Pompey's

:21:00. > :21:03.holding company went into administration last week. The club

:21:03. > :21:11.has weeks to find new investment, but Appleton says he's got to get

:21:11. > :21:16.on with the job. We need backing, we need someone to

:21:16. > :21:22.come in and take the club forward. I'll would imagine that someone

:21:22. > :21:25.doing that will see the club as an investment. And if they make the

:21:25. > :21:29.club and Investment, things like the infrastructure would not

:21:29. > :21:32.probably be at the top of the list. Bournemouth have named Russ Wilcox

:21:32. > :21:37.as their new assistant manager. Meanwhile Southampton have

:21:37. > :21:40.completed the signing of Celtic defender Joss Hooiveld. The

:21:40. > :21:43.Dutchman has signed a three and half year contract at St Mary's

:21:43. > :21:46.after a successful loan spell. The 28-year-old cost Celtic 1.8 million

:21:46. > :21:53.and it's thought Southampton have paid a similar sum to bring him

:21:53. > :21:57.south. Surrey have strengthened their spin

:21:57. > :22:04.attack ahead of next season. They've signed the former Indian

:22:04. > :22:14.international spinner Murali Kartik. The 35-year-old will be available

:22:14. > :22:15.

:22:15. > :22:17.for all formats of the game for the county.

:22:17. > :22:24.Reading hockey club's Laura Bartlett has been named British

:22:24. > :22:27.Hockey athlete of the year - the top individual award for any player.

:22:27. > :22:30.The 23- year-old was part of the Scottish side that won the Euro

:22:30. > :22:40.Hockey Nations Championships this year. It's capped a great year in

:22:40. > :22:44.which she's also recovered from a serious knee injury. That is it

:22:44. > :22:48.from here. We wish Potterne the best of luck.

:22:48. > :22:51.Thank you very much. It's a film that lists Barrack

:22:51. > :22:54.Obama and the head of the American air force among its supporters and

:22:54. > :22:58.its being made by a company in Horsham. Shady Lady tells the story

:22:58. > :23:01.of the 11 men who took part in the longest ever bombing mission of the

:23:01. > :23:04.second world war. The final scenes are being filmed in Sussex later

:23:04. > :23:14.this month and, as Danielle Glavin reports, actors are needed to help

:23:14. > :23:18.

:23:18. > :23:22.The story of Shady Lady begins in 1942 with the bombing of Darwin.

:23:22. > :23:26.Japanese pilots attacked the city destroying buildings and lives. The

:23:26. > :23:36.fuel that fighter planes used came from Bolivia and Phil Dillon was

:23:36. > :23:37.

:23:37. > :23:44.sent there. Shady Lady. A film that shows the story of that

:23:44. > :23:49.mission and how they ran out of film. Helped by Aborigines, they

:23:49. > :23:54.faced a race against time to repair the if the plane. The film crew

:23:54. > :23:58.retrace their steps. The tyre tracks from where the

:23:58. > :24:02.plane crash-landed was still there. The parts of the aeroplane that

:24:03. > :24:08.they threw out of still there, ammunition is still there. It is

:24:08. > :24:14.incredible. Fact not fiction film contacted

:24:14. > :24:20.Barack Obama about the story which led to a presidential citation to

:24:20. > :24:25.the commander of Shady Lady. I don't know why the story has not

:24:25. > :24:30.been told up until now. I think it should and I am glad that we are

:24:30. > :24:34.the ones telling the story. I hope it will inspire the people to make

:24:34. > :24:40.similar stories. Later this month, parts of Sussex

:24:40. > :24:43.will step back to 1943. The final scenes are being thumbed at a

:24:49. > :24:54.What we will be filming in Sussex is the re-enactment of the scene

:24:54. > :24:58.where there crew were being briefed on their mission. By chance we

:24:58. > :25:04.found buildings in the Sussex area that would just like the buildings

:25:05. > :25:11.in Darwin. The film will preview at the Cannes

:25:11. > :25:17.Film Festival so it is a chance for budding film stars to shine.

:25:17. > :25:24.Budding film stars to shine? It is a walk in for you.

:25:24. > :25:29.Shall I audition now? Let's have a go them.

:25:29. > :25:34.After a mild November, what does the 1st December bring as? It will

:25:34. > :25:38.be chilly and dry with rain around be chilly and dry with rain around

:25:38. > :25:42.easing fairly soon. On this picture you can see the cold front that has

:25:42. > :25:49.decided to track northwards and give us a little bit of rain. I

:25:49. > :25:55.think it will give us at least an inch fall of rain. Behind it, to

:25:55. > :26:00.the far north and west, a very chilly picture. Temperatures down

:26:00. > :26:06.to two Celsius. There is a risk of frost as we head into Friday

:26:06. > :26:15.morning. Amy p start tomorrow, but beautifully bright. It will feel

:26:15. > :26:20.like a crisp winter day. Into the afternoon, cloud will build up. The

:26:20. > :26:27.wind will freshen up, why it? Because there is more rain on the

:26:27. > :26:33.wave. On the weekend we are looking at significant much-needed rain. It

:26:33. > :26:38.will give us some milder night. Temperatures by dawn five or nine

:26:38. > :26:44.Celsius. Into Saturday it is a wet start with confusion about this

:26:44. > :26:52.band of rain. It may ease the way, but slow to clear from the south-

:26:52. > :26:58.east. Hopefully it, if we have the luck on Saturday, it may ease away.

:26:58. > :27:03.The same cold front is a round on Sunday. So the threat of rain

:27:03. > :27:10.remains. You can see the isobars tightly packed together. Certainly

:27:10. > :27:15.a much colder feeling day on Sunday. On Sunday again no risk of rain. A

:27:15. > :27:21.few blustery showers. You can see snowy activity further north so it

:27:21. > :27:23.will be called before us. Wet and windy Saturday-Sunday, simple story
