:00:49. > :00:55.A family say they are being driven out of their Hampshire home by a
:00:55. > :00:58.series of vandal attacks. Steven and Lisa Walker have suffered tens
:00:58. > :01:01.of thousands of pounds worth of damage to their Waterlooville home
:01:01. > :01:05.and to their cars over the past year. The couple say that, despite
:01:05. > :01:15.having CCTV footage of the vandals, no-one has been caught. They have
:01:15. > :01:15.
:01:15. > :01:19.now decided to offer a cash reward for information.
:01:19. > :01:22.Steve and Lisa Walker worked for years to buy their dream home. In
:01:22. > :01:30.less than a year that dream has been shattered. Their house now
:01:30. > :01:37.bears the scars of an ongoing vendetta. We thought it might be a
:01:37. > :01:45.random attack at first. I do not think I have upset somebody. Until
:01:45. > :01:50.such time as they come forward and, like a man, for I cannot resolve
:01:50. > :01:54.the problem. A week last Friday, this happened. Two men climbed over
:01:54. > :02:00.their front gate, smashed up the cars and broke the front windows of
:02:00. > :02:04.the house. The intruders are thought to have made their getaway
:02:04. > :02:06.in a small dark hatchback car with a loud exhaust. It sped away down
:02:06. > :02:10.London Road, narrowly missing another vehicle as it pulled out of
:02:10. > :02:18.the bus lane. Police say the driver of that vehicle could prove to be a
:02:18. > :02:20.vital witness. We are extremely concerned about the fact that it is
:02:20. > :02:26.getting worse each time and we are keen to trace the people involved
:02:26. > :02:28.in this. It is the latest in a string of attacks on their property.
:02:28. > :02:33.Car windows have been smashed, paint has been thrown at their

:02:43. > :02:46.live like this. I cannot take it no more.
:02:46. > :02:48.A reward of 1,000 is available for any information which leads to a

:03:08. > :03:10.Manjit Singh from Knowl Hill and Ai Ju Su were part of what the judge

:04:36. > :04:40.had a community sentence at the time that he was running this
:04:40. > :04:45.particular chain. He was described as someone who was moving up the
:04:45. > :04:49.hierarchy and was running a series of brothels and was jailed for some
:04:49. > :04:54.27 months for that particular crime and nine months for the earlier
:04:55. > :04:57.offence. Surrey County Council's decision to
:04:57. > :05:00.hand ten libraries over to community groups and volunteers has
:05:00. > :05:03.been ruled unlawful by the High Court. Campaigners opposed the move
:05:03. > :05:06.as they said vulnerable users would lose out if the plan went ahead. Mr
:05:06. > :05:15.Justice Wilkie said the council's decision making was flawed as

:05:22. > :05:28.This man helped raised money for the review. -- helped raise money.
:05:28. > :05:32.He hopes that the ruling will force a rethink at the council. Many
:05:32. > :05:38.people have a raised very serious concerns and they have all been
:05:38. > :05:42.dismissed. They should not do that. This is not just about libraries.
:05:43. > :05:47.Any time significant changes are going to happen in public services,
:05:47. > :05:55.they need to be assessed properly and they need to consult people
:05:55. > :06:00.properly. The council needs to cut the library budget. Handing over 10
:06:00. > :06:03.libraries to community groups would have helped. But the judge
:06:03. > :06:06.criticised the decision making, saying that they had not assessed
:06:06. > :06:11.what training the volunteers would need to provide an accessible
:06:11. > :06:18.service. Despite the ruling, the council was putting out a positive
:06:18. > :06:21.message. The judge has not said we did not consult properly. It is all
:06:21. > :06:25.about public information and training with regards to that. We
:06:25. > :06:28.do believe we have consulted properly. We asked people what they
:06:28. > :06:32.thought and we have got more support on this than we have got
:06:32. > :06:37.those who are against. The judge will make a further ruling on the
:06:37. > :06:42.issue next month. Other councils who are cutting back their
:06:42. > :06:45.libraries will be watching closely, but Surrey is not giving up. The
:06:45. > :06:50.council says it is committed to introducing community libraries
:06:50. > :06:55.across Surrey and it says it will address the problems and next month
:06:56. > :06:58.they will ask the judge if the scheme can go ahead.

:07:07. > :07:10.mile course. Coroner Peter Bedford said Mr Clarke's heart attack was
:07:10. > :07:12.caused by a pre-existing heart condition. He added there was no

:07:24. > :07:27.Poole Council have confirmed that they are hopeful that the Twin
:07:27. > :07:31.Sails Bridge will open later this week. The 37 million structure was
:07:31. > :07:36.due to open to traffic earlier this month but was delayed due to cracks
:07:37. > :07:41.in the original surface. Weymouth Borough Council has voted
:07:41. > :07:44.to go ahead with major repair work to the town's ferry berth. In
:07:44. > :07:47.February Condor Ferries, which sails to the Channel Islands, had
:07:47. > :07:50.to move services to Poole after structural changes were detected at
:07:50. > :07:57.Weymouth Quay. The rebuilding work is likely to cost in the region of
:07:57. > :08:00.2 million. The ferry service is worth more than 7.7 million to the
:08:00. > :08:09.local economy. It supports around 232 jobs. The aim is for work to be

:08:50. > :08:54.in time? You can never guarantee anything when you are talking about
:08:54. > :09:00.engineering works. Condor Ferries have told the council they want to
:09:00. > :09:06.return, but are concerned about the poor facilities at the port. The
:09:06. > :09:12.council are looking at external funding, such as external grants.
:09:12. > :09:17.Local businesses say it is vital that Condor Ferries returned.
:09:17. > :09:23.was on the council I would be doing whatever I could to keep them. We
:09:23. > :09:27.need our council to go out there, lobby and work to get them back for

:09:36. > :09:40.today that they will continue to liaise with the poor. No one knows
:09:40. > :09:44.when Condor Ferries will report to Weymouth. The departure has left a
:09:44. > :09:51.big hole in the local economy. As one councillor put it today, we
:09:51. > :09:54.need to crack on with the solution. Plans to protect and improve
:09:54. > :09:56.Poole's beaches have gone on show. Poole Borough Council want to

:12:24. > :12:28.Anson's career as well. Now, we may have seen the best of
:12:28. > :12:31.it for now at least, but the recent good weather has tempted many of us
:12:31. > :12:35.to get out of the house and enjoy the great outdoors. Unfortunately
:12:35. > :12:38.for some, the mind may be willing, but the body? Well, that can be a
:12:38. > :12:41.different matter. But now a new initiative being trialled in the

:15:57. > :16:00.Time to catch up with one of football's top professionals now.
:16:00. > :16:03.Jason Roberts's achievements in the sport go far beyond the pitch. His

:16:09. > :16:18.club's community programme, and he's been setting his sights on a
:16:18. > :16:23.return to the Premier League. Did you score any goals today? What
:16:23. > :16:27.a perfect day! Footballers are required to be ambassadors for
:16:27. > :16:31.their game and few do it better than Jason Roberts. He is visiting
:16:31. > :16:36.a school near Reading. It is a school for children with specialist
:16:36. > :16:41.educational needs. And Reading embrace it as part of their
:16:41. > :16:46.community programme. Lots of people here get the opportunities that
:16:46. > :16:51.they may not get other places. They have a qualified coach and get to
:16:51. > :16:57.see professional football at the end of the day. But the question is,
:16:57. > :17:01.can the team make the Premier League? I think so! Roberts has
:17:01. > :17:05.certainly made an impact since arriving from Blackburn in January.
:17:05. > :17:12.There was no case of me coming to Reading to have an easy life were

:17:40. > :17:46.you go into a team that is attacking it is an easy job. I am
:17:46. > :17:50.34 now. He is not finished yet. Roberts has an eye on the Premier

:19:57. > :20:03.it gets to this time of year, most people are considering dipping a

:20:10. > :20:15.about nine degrees. I have not paper checked -- I have not checked

:20:36. > :20:45.
:20:45. > :20:50.I am ready! Are you coming or what! I hate cold water. I do not even

:21:29. > :21:30.
:21:30. > :21:40.two and a half miles? Let's do it. I am just getting over that.
:21:40. > :21:45.
:21:45. > :21:50.wonder you are called! You even had socks on! I had boots on. I have
