:00:07. > :00:13.Hello. Welcome to Saturday. Internat's programme: Help find our

:00:14. > :00:18.mum's killer. The children of a murder victim make a public appeal.

:00:19. > :00:22.It's devastating for the family. It comes as a complete shock. We would

:00:23. > :00:29.appeal to anyone who has information about this matter, no matter how

:00:30. > :00:34.trivial, to help the scabs them. More storms hit the south.

:00:35. > :00:38.Forecasters warned there is more to come this weekend.

:00:39. > :00:45.Youth style justice, the new court due to be trialled in south. And the

:00:46. > :00:49.football fanatic preparing to leave his home from home dugout forever.

:00:50. > :01:08.Gut`wrenching. If I thought we could take any of it with us, we would.

:01:09. > :01:14.The son of an artist murdered in the seaside village in West Sussex has

:01:15. > :01:17.made an emotional appeal for help in finding the killer. 55`year`old

:01:18. > :01:21.Valerie Graves was bludgeoned to death between Christmas and New Year

:01:22. > :01:26.while house sitting. Forensic experts are still at the scene and

:01:27. > :01:31.police divers have been searching of `` surrounding area.

:01:32. > :01:34.They've been here four days, working in the most challenging of

:01:35. > :01:38.conditions. Much of the area around this million pounds home is

:01:39. > :01:45.flooded. Still, the search for evidence goes on. Valerie Graves's

:01:46. > :01:50.family described her as a much loved free spirit, a talented artist who

:01:51. > :01:54.would be sorely missed. Her daughter and son told a news conference she

:01:55. > :01:59.had recently returned from Scotland. She had moved back to Sussex to look

:02:00. > :02:05.after her mum. Family was important to her. We have been lucky to spend

:02:06. > :02:09.time with her over Christmas. She had a lovely time with her family,

:02:10. > :02:15.including grandchildren. She had been looking forward to seeing her

:02:16. > :02:19.granddaughter, and was interested in our ambitions. This has been a

:02:20. > :02:24.devastating... This is devastating for the family, and has come as a

:02:25. > :02:28.complete shock. We would appeal to anyone who has information about

:02:29. > :02:36.this matter, no matter how trivial, to contact the police. It was a

:02:37. > :02:39.family Christmas. Members of family from various places had come

:02:40. > :02:45.together at the house they were house sitting at to spend Christmas

:02:46. > :02:52.together. We now know that Valerie Graves went to bed here are 10pm on

:02:53. > :02:58.Sunday evening. Her elderly mother, sister and sister's partner also

:02:59. > :03:02.adhered to. Just 12 hours later, they went in to Valerie's room and

:03:03. > :03:07.found her dead. She had terrible injuries to her face and head. We

:03:08. > :03:10.would be interested to hear from anyone who knows someone who may

:03:11. > :03:16.have come home with different clothes on with bloodstained

:03:17. > :03:18.clothes, or is anyone was asked to wash clothing in unusual

:03:19. > :03:23.circumstances or to dispose of clothing. While the detectives build

:03:24. > :03:27.up a full picture of Valerie Graves' life, police are looking

:03:28. > :03:31.into the possibility a stranger may have broken in. All that Valerie may

:03:32. > :03:38.have known all killer, or known in the past. Police expect to be here

:03:39. > :03:42.for at least another week. Heavy rain and striving wins have

:03:43. > :03:45.brought more flooding to the south and cause traffic problems

:03:46. > :03:50.throughout the region. Strong winds and crashing waves battered Meon

:03:51. > :03:58.Shore around lunchtime. Diane Barnstable caught the choppy waters

:03:59. > :04:04.around the pier. People went for unusual methods of transport. Barry

:04:05. > :04:14.Colgate sent in this picture of Bosham Quay. The River Itchen burst

:04:15. > :04:17.its banks. Tony stayed dry while catching the waves at Titchfield

:04:18. > :04:24.Haven. Thank you for those pictures that you sent in. Residents of

:04:25. > :04:30.Ivybridge home Park were moved from their homes and haven't been allowed

:04:31. > :04:34.back. New Year, same old problem. The 80

:04:35. > :04:40.residents of Ivybridge home Park have been forced out by the swollen

:04:41. > :04:52.River Stour, the second time in nine days. Luckily my photographs are OK.

:04:53. > :04:59.The demo won't make them too bad. The floor is flooded. Absolutely

:05:00. > :05:04.smelly and horrible. Yesterday's evacuation went smoothly, thanks to

:05:05. > :05:09.lessons learned from Christmas Day. People here were ready to evacuate

:05:10. > :05:16.on Christmas Eve at 9am. We were told, no, not a requirement. Then

:05:17. > :05:20.many of them were told at 4am, not on the door by the fire rescue

:05:21. > :05:22.service in a boat saying that we had to evacuate. That should never

:05:23. > :05:26.happen. Things have been more efficient this time. Some big

:05:27. > :05:29.questions in the long term about the decision`making. Some residents

:05:30. > :05:36.stayed in the neighbouring church hall last night. Now six households

:05:37. > :05:40.are living in hotels paid for by the council. Others rely on friends and

:05:41. > :05:45.family. The latest advice is not a until at least Sunday. But with more

:05:46. > :05:51.weather forecast of the weekend, it could be later than that. It's going

:05:52. > :05:57.to take a while. A lot of drying out has been done since Christmas Day,

:05:58. > :06:05.but of course it's back in again, so for a lot, it will be starting from

:06:06. > :06:12.scratch again. Along the coast, parts of Hampshire West Sussex felt

:06:13. > :06:19.the force of the flights. Mopping up in work this afternoon.

:06:20. > :06:22.It has flooded here before. Sally and her husband Peter have been up

:06:23. > :06:26.12 hours earlier in the middle of the night and managed to keep the

:06:27. > :06:30.water out with the help of family and friends who offered to lend a

:06:31. > :06:33.hand. But the next high tide at lunchtime saw their barriers

:06:34. > :06:37.breached and the water pouring. We didn't expect it. We knew what time

:06:38. > :06:43.the tide was coming in, so we were ready, but we were still busy

:06:44. > :06:50.setting everything up. It was very quick how it came in. We were still

:06:51. > :06:53.setting everything up, and suddenly it came through. Thankfully, the

:06:54. > :07:03.damage was mostly confined to the restaurant area, and the pup has

:07:04. > :07:07.remained open. `` Pablo. The water comes pouring in here, so what were

:07:08. > :07:11.trying to do is prevent it coming in. It's not going to stop it, but

:07:12. > :07:18.it will slow it down. Along the coast in Portsmouth, the council

:07:19. > :07:22.said at the city's flood barriers, shutting off smaller areas. High

:07:23. > :07:27.tide passed at noon with the defence is holding firm. But these aerial

:07:28. > :07:32.pictures show the extent of floodwaters at lunchtime's high

:07:33. > :07:37.tide. Near Guildford, motorists tried to navigate flooded roads

:07:38. > :07:43.without being marooned. The scene is set to be repeated this weekend.

:07:44. > :07:50.Sarah Farmer will be here later in the programme with a full four coast

:07:51. > :07:53.`` forecast. A man has appeared in court charged with murdering his

:07:54. > :07:57.identical twin brother who died after a fight on New Year's Eve in

:07:58. > :08:03.Hampshire. Christopher Cerqua suffered serious injuries in the

:08:04. > :08:06.incident at his house. His twin brother Robert Secker will appear at

:08:07. > :08:12.Winchester Crown Court on Monday. A second person has died following a

:08:13. > :08:13.car crash on the Isle of Wight yesterday.

:08:14. > :08:19.Kiri`Jade Hodgkinson was pronounced dead at the scene. 67`year`old

:08:20. > :08:22.Barbara Ford was taken to Saint Mary 's hospital and has since died from

:08:23. > :08:27.her injuries. Two others involved remain in a serious condition.

:08:28. > :08:34.His wife died seven weeks before they owed an anniversary. Eric

:08:35. > :08:40.Clifton had arranged a party at a hotel, buddy lost his ?700 he paid

:08:41. > :08:48.in advance. The hotel owners said they did not notice `` know why the

:08:49. > :08:52.party was cancelled. But there was a happy ending.

:08:53. > :08:56.Eric Clifton and his wife Joyce had been married for 49 years and ten

:08:57. > :09:08.months when she died. She got to lots of cancer. Too much for her.

:09:09. > :09:15.And she just wasted away at that point. They had booked the list is

:09:16. > :09:18.hotel for a Golden anniversary `` golden anniversary party. When Joyce

:09:19. > :09:23.passed away several weeks earlier, the party was cancelled with no

:09:24. > :09:31.refund. Joyce and I had been there on Aaron, and always had good

:09:32. > :09:35.service. Lovely. We said, yeah, let's go there. It's the only place

:09:36. > :09:41.we considered for our golden wedding anniversary. Lysses House encourage

:09:42. > :09:45.the Clifton is to take out insurance in case they had to cancel,

:09:46. > :09:51.explaining that the deposits were non`refundable. That is common

:09:52. > :09:56.practice in the hotel industry. We have, over the century, had

:09:57. > :10:02.exceptional circumstances where we have made repayments in exceptional

:10:03. > :10:08.circumstances. Do you think Mr Clifton's circumstance is

:10:09. > :10:12.exceptional? I do now. Mr Mercer did not know why he had to cancel, and

:10:13. > :10:17.assume that since he had not been in touch, he accepted the conditions.

:10:18. > :10:21.They have now met and a refund has been agreed, and a hotel staff also

:10:22. > :10:26.want to make a donation to the cancer charity Myeloma UK in memory

:10:27. > :10:31.of choice. It's a huge relief to both sides. Mr Clifton can return to

:10:32. > :10:40.his favourite hotel. Mrs house can welcome back a valued customer.

:10:41. > :10:43.Still to come, we showcase some of the very best weather pictures that

:10:44. > :10:52.you have taken and hear the stories of some of those behind the lens.

:10:53. > :10:56.Young offenders who commit crimes could be sentenced by other youths

:10:57. > :11:00.in a radical new scheme being piloted in Hampshire. Community

:11:01. > :11:04.courts will see young people act as prosecutors, defenders and jurors to

:11:05. > :11:07.sanction those who admit to low`level offences. It's the first

:11:08. > :11:13.time a scan of this kind has been trialled in the UK. The hope is that

:11:14. > :11:16.using positive peer pressure will help reduce youth offending rates.

:11:17. > :11:20.Our home affairs correspondent reports.

:11:21. > :11:24.The next case is a matter of criminal damage. It looks and sounds

:11:25. > :11:28.like a criminal court, but there's a difference. This is a community

:11:29. > :11:32.courts, where young people decide suitable sanctions for the young

:11:33. > :11:36.peers who have committed crimes. This is only a dramatisation, but

:11:37. > :11:43.from April, during site this will take place in Hampshire. It's not a

:11:44. > :11:45.court of law in the same way that a magistrate's courtiers. It's

:11:46. > :11:51.reversing, to a degree, the peer pressure that is often causing

:11:52. > :11:56.people to commit crime. Rather than having a young person tell someone

:11:57. > :12:01.to commit crime, they will say, you shouldn't have done that. The

:12:02. > :12:05.genetic will only deal with low`level offences, such as those

:12:06. > :12:10.eligible for the police warnings or a caution, such as setting fire to a

:12:11. > :12:12.bean. It won't determine guilt. The offender must have accepted

:12:13. > :12:16.responsibility for their actions and be willing to take part. The victim

:12:17. > :12:19.can choose to be present to explain the impact of the crime. It won't

:12:20. > :12:21.determine guilt. The offender must have accepted responsibility for

:12:22. > :12:24.their actions and be willing to take part. The victim can choose to be

:12:25. > :12:31.present to explain the impact of the crime. It's or ask the offender to

:12:32. > :12:34.carry out work in the community. The scheme will be supervised by

:12:35. > :12:40.Hampshire Police. We don't want people to think this is an easy

:12:41. > :12:46.ride. If you've done wrong, you will be more accountable to your peers.

:12:47. > :12:54.The difference is that we will have your case heard, but your sentence

:12:55. > :12:59.will be about rehabilitation and repairing relationships between the

:13:00. > :13:02.community and victims. This open day was the young people interested in

:13:03. > :13:06.taking part in the community court project. They have to apply to be a

:13:07. > :13:11.juror or advocates, and undergo full training. For the young offenders,

:13:12. > :13:16.it is have someone of their age help them or advise them or give them

:13:17. > :13:21.support, I think it's good for them. It might make them see sense. They

:13:22. > :13:29.could understand their problems. Such as peer pressure. I think it's

:13:30. > :13:32.quite nice, because we will be around the same age, so trying to

:13:33. > :13:37.talk to them and know what they are going through. There are some with

:13:38. > :13:42.reservations. Solicitor Emma Smith works with young offenders. People

:13:43. > :13:47.who may appear on the panel may have no idea what it is like to come from

:13:48. > :13:53.a family where a mother or father is an alcoholic or drug dependent. It

:13:54. > :13:57.may work, but I have reservations that they might see the people who

:13:58. > :14:05.are judging them as having very different backgrounds to where they

:14:06. > :14:10.came from. We the jury, find you should be given a community

:14:11. > :14:14.resolution. They could be a requirement to several years jury in

:14:15. > :14:18.future. Eventually they will become part of efforts to tackle youth

:14:19. > :14:21.crime. Whether this pioneering project helps reduce reoffending

:14:22. > :14:30.will determine if it's rolled out past its three`year pilot.

:14:31. > :14:32.Onto sport, and it's FA Cup third`round weekend as the Premier

:14:33. > :14:35.League and Championship sides enter the competition. On the eve of

:14:36. > :14:39.Reading's tie at Brighton, though, the club's ownership is back in the

:14:40. > :14:42.news. This is going to be one of the key

:14:43. > :14:45.developing stories of the month ahead. We told you before Christmas

:14:46. > :14:48.that Reading were talking to investors about a possible takeover.

:14:49. > :14:51.Tonight, the club is expecting a renewed bid from an American

:14:52. > :14:54.consortium who have been talking to them since the autumn. With Anton

:14:55. > :14:58.Zingarevich seemingly on the way out at the Madejski stadium, remember he

:14:59. > :15:01.hasn't been to a game at the ground since September. Reading have been

:15:02. > :15:04.searching for a solution. With key decisions to be made during January

:15:05. > :15:09.about players in and players out, time is of the essence. I'm told the

:15:10. > :15:13.Americans are in pole position. Reading are just one of our region's

:15:14. > :15:17.clubs involved in the third round of the FA Cup this weekend. They travel

:15:18. > :15:20.to Brighton tomorrow with boss Nigel Adkins, now one of the bookies'

:15:21. > :15:25.favourites for the West Brom job, hoping for a Cup run.

:15:26. > :15:30.You always want to do well in the FA Cup. We've got Brighton away, a

:15:31. > :15:34.quick turnaround. But I want us to have a good run. We want to have the

:15:35. > :15:36.strongest possible team up that we can do. Obviously the injuries and

:15:37. > :15:40.suspensions we've already alluded to. I'm not one to use them as

:15:41. > :15:42.excuses. Don't like excuses. But there are reasons and factors for

:15:43. > :15:45.thing. Southampton have refused to accept a

:15:46. > :15:48.decision by the Premier League's refereeing body not to investigate

:15:49. > :15:52.further comments made by Mark Clattenburg in an incident involving

:15:53. > :15:55.Adam Lallana last week. Saints' initial complaint was thrown out by

:15:56. > :15:59.the referees body, who considered the matter over. But Saints hit back

:16:00. > :16:02.this afternoon, claiming that Clattenburg's comments ` he's

:16:03. > :16:05.alleged to have said, "You're very different now you have played for

:16:06. > :16:09.England, you never used to be like this" ` merited further

:16:10. > :16:11.investigation. They've restated their desire for Clattenburg not to

:16:12. > :16:16.officiate any of their upcoming games.

:16:17. > :16:19.Meanwhile, Saints host Burnley in the FA Cup tomorrow. If selected,

:16:20. > :16:23.Saints striker Jay Rodriguez will be facing his former club. Rodriguez

:16:24. > :16:26.was born and bred in the Lancashire town, making his steps as a

:16:27. > :16:32.footballer in the north`west. Tomorrow, he faces the club who sold

:16:33. > :16:36.him to Saints for ?7 million. It would be a great feeling. It's an

:16:37. > :16:40.occasion to look forward to. Obviously I'm still a professional,

:16:41. > :16:47.and I have to perform for the team, which is Southampton. I've got to do

:16:48. > :16:52.my best and work hard to improve for myself and for my teamates.

:16:53. > :16:56.And the full interview with Jay Rodriguez can be seen on Football

:16:57. > :16:59.Focus tomorrow at 12:00pm on BBC One. One player not involved

:17:00. > :17:03.tomorrow is Dani Osvaldo. He's received a three`game ban today for

:17:04. > :17:08.his part in a scuffle in the dugout at Newcastle last month.

:17:09. > :17:12.30 years ago, Bournemouth pulled off one of the great FA Cup upsets when

:17:13. > :17:16.they beat Manchester United at Dean Court. Tomorrow, they host Burton

:17:17. > :17:20.Albion of League Two. Manager Eddie Howe is likely to make some changes,

:17:21. > :17:23.including a return in goal for Ryan Allsop.

:17:24. > :17:30.Elsewhere, MK Dons are at the holders, Wigan. Oxford's tie at

:17:31. > :17:33.Charlton will now be played next Wednesday due to a waterlogged pitch

:17:34. > :17:39.at the Valley. Portsmouth's league match with Accrington has also been

:17:40. > :17:42.postponed. Michael Carberry's England career is

:17:43. > :17:46.hanging by a thread after the Hampshire batsman failed to score on

:17:47. > :17:49.day one of the fifth test in Sydney. It's thought Carberry needs to

:17:50. > :17:52.finish the tour well, but was dismissed for a duck early in

:17:53. > :17:55.England's reply to Australia's first innings of 326 all out at the SCG.

:17:56. > :17:58.The 33`year`old has averaged 30 during the series, but England may

:17:59. > :18:07.turn to younger talent this summer if Carberry doesn't register a high

:18:08. > :18:10.score. With the arrival of the New Year,

:18:11. > :18:13.some people's thoughts turn to moving home. There's one particular

:18:14. > :18:16.house at Palestine near Andover which might catch the eye of

:18:17. > :18:20.Southampton football fans. The ?695,000 four`bed house looks

:18:21. > :18:23.like any normal home when you walk into the hallway ` but down in the

:18:24. > :18:28.basement, there's a surprise in store, as Sean Killick has been

:18:29. > :18:32.finding out. That second innings important In estate agent speak,

:18:33. > :18:34.it's an ideal family home in the countryside just over an hour's

:18:35. > :18:37.commute from London. But this 4`bed detached house has

:18:38. > :18:41.unique features, as owner Richard showed me. Down in the basement,

:18:42. > :18:43.there is a sizeable piece of football history, the dugout from

:18:44. > :18:48.Southampton's old football ground, the Dell. It's five metres wide, and

:18:49. > :18:51.the basement of the self`build home was redesigned to accommodate it.

:18:52. > :18:54.Lifelong Saints fan Richard bought it in 2001, when items from the

:18:55. > :19:02.ground were being auctioned off after the final game there. Richard

:19:03. > :19:06.was building his house at the time and decided the dugout would make a

:19:07. > :19:11.winning feature for his underground sports room. For ?240, it was his.

:19:12. > :19:15.Since then, he and his family have watched hundreds of matches in it on

:19:16. > :19:19.TV, sitting in a dugout used by some of the greatest managers in English

:19:20. > :19:22.football. It still gives me goose bumps to

:19:23. > :19:29.actually include names like our current England manager, Roy

:19:30. > :19:33.Hodgson, Blackburn in '98. Sir Alex Ferguson, Sir Bobby Robson.

:19:34. > :19:36.It's a who's who of English football, isn't it?

:19:37. > :19:43.Yeah. Kevin Keegan, Brian Robinson. Glenn Hoddle, Terry Venables. The

:19:44. > :19:46.list is endless. As well as the dugout, the other

:19:47. > :19:50.star attraction is this turnstile, which dates back to 1898. It's

:19:51. > :19:53.amazing to think how many people must have walked through this on

:19:54. > :19:56.their way into the Dell. There's plenty of other memorabilia in this

:19:57. > :19:59.basement shrine to the Saints, which was given an official opening by

:20:00. > :20:07.club legend Lawrie McMenemy. One of the rooms has been named in his

:20:08. > :20:09.honour. But Richard and his wife, Jean, are downsizing, and prepared

:20:10. > :20:15.to sell the collection with the house, separately.

:20:16. > :20:19.Gut`renching. If I thought we could take any of it with us, we would. I

:20:20. > :20:23.don't know what Lawrie would think of it, especially his suite.

:20:24. > :20:39.When the final whistle blows, this is one loss Richard will find

:20:40. > :20:43.particularly hard to take. Every night on South Today, we offer

:20:44. > :20:46.you the chance to show off your fabulous weather pictures. Hundreds

:20:47. > :20:50.of you get out ` in all weathers ` across the south every day, and send

:20:51. > :20:54.us your view of the region. We can only show a few on the

:20:55. > :20:57.programme each night, but our Facebook page has become home to

:20:58. > :21:01.many of the pictures you send us. Alexis Green has been taking a look

:21:02. > :21:05.back at some of the best photos you sent in 2013, and has been to hear

:21:06. > :21:07.the stories of some of those behind the lens.

:21:08. > :21:11.Weather`wise, 2013 gave us everything from frost and snow to

:21:12. > :21:14.the blue skies of summer. And through the year, you've sent us

:21:15. > :21:20.your pictures taken around the region. We show some of them on the

:21:21. > :21:24.programme, and post more on Facebook as often as we can. One of our

:21:25. > :21:31.regular contributors, Raymond, took this picture of Salisbury Cathedral

:21:32. > :21:34.back in September. But I went to meet him at another of his favourite

:21:35. > :21:39.locations in Guildford. I do like historic Guildford in

:21:40. > :21:44.itself. I think we are blessed in this area because of the history of

:21:45. > :21:49.the castle going back to about 1086. I think it's a fitting composition.

:21:50. > :21:52.You've got a massive selection of photos that you sent in. Tell me

:21:53. > :21:56.about this one. I think that was a pretty cold day

:21:57. > :22:00.when I took that. This is down by the River Way. A lot of people feed

:22:01. > :22:03.their pigeons. I'm learning all the time. I learn from photography

:22:04. > :22:06.magazines, the Internet, YouTube, and when I'm out and about, I always

:22:07. > :22:12.come across professional photographers who are willing to

:22:13. > :22:14.give advice. Lynn Roger's husband, Graham, was

:22:15. > :22:22.another keen photographer who enjoyed sharing his pictures with

:22:23. > :22:27.South Today. This lifeboat station is a special

:22:28. > :22:30.place for both of us. It was his favourite place. Graham was

:22:31. > :22:34.passionate about photography. He really loved it and he was

:22:35. > :22:37.especially proud to see it used on the television. Just before he

:22:38. > :22:41.passed away, it was the lifeboat station that was his favourite photo

:22:42. > :22:45.that he sent in to South Today, and to see it there really lifted his

:22:46. > :22:50.spirits. He wanted to go out and take more photos, which made the

:22:51. > :22:54.last few days really happy for him. Over the water in Gosport, Maureen

:22:55. > :23:00.Coles has a room with a view. This is the view. Look at that!

:23:01. > :23:05.Portsmouth Harbour. It's incredible. As day turns to night, the picture

:23:06. > :23:09.changes dramatically. About ten minutes later, the clouds

:23:10. > :23:13.came over the moon and I would never have got the chance again. I'm here

:23:14. > :23:16.at all times of day, so I can get the views first thing in the

:23:17. > :23:21.morning. The afternoon is wonderful because of the light. I like to try

:23:22. > :23:26.to catch the light on the buildings, if I can. I absolutely love sending

:23:27. > :23:31.my photos in. It's so exciting to spot something, and you think, "That

:23:32. > :23:35.would be brilliant to send in". You send them off and wait for them to

:23:36. > :23:38.appear, and of course you get all the people who are the Facebook

:23:39. > :23:45.followers, and it's wonderful when you get a good response to your

:23:46. > :23:47.picture. Here are some more of your photos

:23:48. > :24:29.from 2013. Lovely pictures.

:24:30. > :24:32.Thank you to everyone who sent us a picture last year. Sorry we can't

:24:33. > :24:36.name you all. Please keep them coming this year. Our email address

:24:37. > :24:45.is south.today@bbc.co.uk. And there are more pictures on our Facebook

:24:46. > :24:51.page, BBC South Today. Beautiful pictures. We've had some lovely

:24:52. > :24:57.ones, despite the weather. We've shown a few storm winds, but we've

:24:58. > :24:59.had a mixed bag today. We had a few hailstorms.

:25:00. > :25:03.Take a look at these hailstones collected by Henny Grant. The peas

:25:04. > :25:06.give you an idea of how big they were when they came down just north

:25:07. > :25:09.of Hungerford. Incredibly big waves at Stokes Bay `

:25:10. > :25:13.two walkers there about to get a soaking by the looks of it. Thank

:25:14. > :25:15.you to Roger Forster for braving the storm.

:25:16. > :25:18.But it wasn't all thunder and lightning ` Sandy Burnfield captured

:25:19. > :25:24.this beautiful sunset over the River Test at Longstock in Hampshire. We

:25:25. > :25:29.have some more of those scattered showers to come over the next few

:25:30. > :25:33.hours. Plenty of weather warnings through the weekend. One or two

:25:34. > :25:38.downpours this evening. More hail and blunder. They showers do is the

:25:39. > :25:43.first part of the night. The winds is down. We've seen the peak now,

:25:44. > :25:48.but we could see gusts up to 70 mph early this evening. Later tonight,

:25:49. > :25:55.we see another area of wet weather arriving. This could bring us some

:25:56. > :25:59.intense spells of rain, again some hail and rain too. Temperatures for

:26:00. > :26:05.all five degrees. A warnings about southeastern corner seeing up to 30

:26:06. > :26:10.millimetres of rain. That band of rain shifts quite nicely into the

:26:11. > :26:15.afternoon. Dry conditions, brighter paps as well if you are lucky. A

:26:16. > :26:19.glimmer or two of sun shines. Temperatures up to 10 degrees, and

:26:20. > :26:24.the wind is lighter than today. Tomorrow evening, more intense

:26:25. > :26:28.showers. Once again, maybe some rain or fund. For tomorrow night, this

:26:29. > :26:34.spells developing. Some patchy fog developing. Temperatures close to

:26:35. > :26:40.freezing. We could see Frost versus being Sunday morning. A risk of ice

:26:41. > :26:44.as well. This is the area of low pressure that is taking out whether

:26:45. > :26:47.through during the day on Sunday. Not quite as terrible as we first

:26:48. > :26:52.thought, but the find will still bring is substantial rain once again

:26:53. > :26:55.will stop we could see up to 30 millimetres in some localised spots,

:26:56. > :27:02.especially coastal counties like I'll `` Isle Of Wight. Wind is not

:27:03. > :27:07.quite as strong as today. Those still a gusty day. Warnings were

:27:08. > :27:12.both days this weekend. More intense spells of rain. As we start the new

:27:13. > :27:16.working week, scattered showers on the way, but easing down for

:27:17. > :27:25.Tuesday. Still plenty more weather to come, so disruption is possible.

:27:26. > :27:32.Localised flooding. Thank you so much. Take care of this

:27:33. > :27:35.weekend. For the latest on travel and traffic, listen to your local

:27:36. > :27:40.BBC Radio station. We'll be back with a bulletin at

:27:41. > :27:46.10:25pm. That's it from us this evening. Good night.
