:00:23. > :00:26.children and adults with cerebral palsy. It now hopes it can survive,

:00:27. > :00:34.after receiving half the money it needs in less than a week. Sean

:00:35. > :00:38.Killick reports. It is Saturday club and the Rainbow

:00:39. > :00:41.Centre. The vital opportunity for children with cerebral palsy who

:00:42. > :00:47.attend mainstream schools during the week to get skilled help with their

:00:48. > :00:51.specialist needs the weekend `` at the weekend. The centre helps people

:00:52. > :00:56.aged from six months to over 70 years but it needs over ?150,000 to

:00:57. > :01:01.avoid closure over Easter. In the first week of its appeal, it has

:01:02. > :01:06.reached the halfway mark. We're absolutely staggered. One of my lead

:01:07. > :01:12.can doctors said it has been a humbling experience. We put into

:01:13. > :01:18.running the centre and we have seen the results on a daily basis. For

:01:19. > :01:23.people who have never heard of cerebral palsy of such education to

:01:24. > :01:26.absolutely have got what this is about and how vital services this to

:01:27. > :01:30.the region, we are just staggered by the response, to be halfway,

:01:31. > :01:36.literally, before the end of your first week. The centre is trying to

:01:37. > :01:39.get longer`term funding from businesses and individuals but in

:01:40. > :01:43.the short term still needs to raise another ?75,000 to reach the

:01:44. > :01:46.?150,000 target of its crisis appeal.

:01:47. > :01:52.The first same`sex weddings have been taking place across the South

:01:53. > :01:55.after the law changed at midnight. Steven and Gary were among the first

:01:56. > :01:58.to tie the knot in a ceremony at Bournemouth Town Hall. Meanwhile the

:01:59. > :02:01.Bishop of Salisbury has backed gay marriage. Nick Holtam says it's a

:02:02. > :02:07.matter of justice, and "embodies virtues that the Church wants to see

:02:08. > :02:09.maximised in society". Five people are recovering from

:02:10. > :02:13.smoke inhalation after being rescued from a house fire in Portsmouth. The

:02:14. > :02:18.blaze broke out in the early hours of this morning, in Ophir Road, in

:02:19. > :02:20.the North End area of the city. Two people needed hospital treatment. An

:02:21. > :02:24.investigation has been launched into the cause of the fire.

:02:25. > :02:26.Parks and play areas in Dorset will continue to be taken over by

:02:27. > :02:31.unauthorised traveller camps this summer. That's the warning from

:02:32. > :02:33.Dorset's Police and Crime Commissioner, after the latest plans

:02:34. > :02:39.for a temporary stopping site were thrown out by Poole council. Local

:02:40. > :02:41.politicians say they need to persuade the public that temporary

:02:42. > :02:51.traveller sites are the best short`term solution.

:02:52. > :02:58.This is temporarily. This site that you as a village would like `` will

:02:59. > :03:03.not like means that your village playing field, the school field or

:03:04. > :03:10.the picnic sites, the car parks, will not be invaded.

:03:11. > :03:13.And you can hear more on that story in tomorrow's Sunday Politics, which

:03:14. > :03:16.is on at the slightly later time of 11.15, tomorrow morning, on BBC One.

:03:17. > :03:18.It is looking beautiful outside. And now it's time for Holly Green with

:03:19. > :03:20.the weather. It is looking beautiful outside. And

:03:21. > :03:24.now We have seen beautiful blue skies today and more of the same for

:03:25. > :03:30.the rest of the weekend. We have a bit of a breeze, mind you, taking

:03:31. > :03:35.the edge off the temperatures. High cloud around, tongue sunshine a bit

:03:36. > :03:40.hazy. Top temperatures of 16, 17 or maybe even 18 or 19 Celsius. This

:03:41. > :03:46.evening, maybe a little more) time and some mist patches. It will be

:03:47. > :03:50.quite mild, 8`10 Celsius. Tomorrow, more than the way of hazy sunshine

:03:51. > :03:53.and perhaps a shade warmer than today.

:03:54. > :04:12.Have a good afternoon. Goodbye. Good afternoon. The clocks go

:04:13. > :04:16.forward by one hour tonight, British Summer Time begins. Hard to believe

:04:17. > :04:20.that this was the scene exactly one year ago in North Wales when we were

:04:21. > :04:24.in the grip of one of the coldest springs for many a decade. A

:04:25. > :04:26.different story this weekend, of course, with
