:00:12. > :00:14.Hello. Good evening. I'm Dani Sinha. As you may have just seen on the
:00:15. > :00:18.national news, a Southampton based yacht has gone missing in the North
:00:19. > :00:22.Atlantic. Two of its crew were from our region. James Ingham has been
:00:23. > :00:27.following the story. James what do we know so far? Well the Cheeki
:00:28. > :00:33.Rafiki is a 40ft racing yacht that a four man crew was bringing back from
:00:34. > :00:36.the Caribbean to Southampton. After reporting on Thursday that they were
:00:37. > :00:41.taking on water, radio contact was then lost on Friday. An air and sea
:00:42. > :00:45.search was immediately launched by the US Coastguard. With three
:00:46. > :00:51.aircraft and three merchant vessels deployed to the area that's 1000
:00:52. > :00:54.miles east of Cape Cod. An upturned hull was spotted but there was no
:00:55. > :00:58.obvious sign of the men or a life raft. But a Royal Yachting
:00:59. > :01:02.Association instructor who's in close contact with the company that
:01:03. > :01:08.owns the boat, told me there's still a chance that the men may be found.
:01:09. > :01:12.There is still hope. They could well have an opportunity to deploy a
:01:13. > :01:15.liferaft. The evidence of the search and rescue situation was there was a
:01:16. > :01:19.locator beacon activated which lasted for four or five hours. When
:01:20. > :01:21.that ran out, there was a second activated. So there were at least
:01:22. > :01:25.two people together activating these things. There is always hope.
:01:26. > :01:29.Although they have found this vessel which is most likely the relevant
:01:30. > :01:33.vessel they have not been able to get a craft down to look at it so
:01:34. > :01:38.there are still a lots of unanswered questions. But it's not clear how
:01:39. > :01:41.this will be resolved as after covering more than 4000 miles, the
:01:42. > :01:45.search was called off early this morning, which the families of the
:01:46. > :01:49.men say is devastating. Relatives and friends say they gave up too
:01:50. > :01:54.early. Do we know more about the crew? Yes, it was made up of four
:01:55. > :01:56.men. 23`year`old James Male from Southampton and 21`year`old Andrew
:01:57. > :02:04.Bridge from Farnham in Surrey were voluntarily crewing the boat. Two
:02:05. > :02:16.other men are from Somerset. They were all described as very
:02:17. > :02:19.experienced offshore yachtsmen. Losing a baby is one of the hardest
:02:20. > :02:22.things for parents to cope with. This weekend has seen a special
:02:23. > :02:25.service take place at Winchester Cathedral for anyone who's lost a
:02:26. > :02:28.baby, The Saying Goodbye Services were the idea of a couple who lost
:02:29. > :02:32.five babies. Each candle ` a symbol of a baby lost but never forgotten.
:02:33. > :02:35.Fittingly names as 'Saying Goodbye Service', parents were able to
:02:36. > :02:41.remember the life cut short in the comfort of others around them
:02:42. > :02:44.understand their grief. We spoke to one mother from Southampton who lost
:02:45. > :02:48.her baby when she was just 18 weeks pregnant. I felt you know, I met
:02:49. > :02:51.people who have been through the same experience as me and I think
:02:52. > :02:57.without the support of saying goodbye, I would still feel quite
:02:58. > :03:00.alone. But you know you have the support there and it is the sort of
:03:01. > :03:07.subject nobody talks about. Nobody mentions they have lost a baby. The
:03:08. > :03:17.services are designed to help parents, male and female, young and
:03:18. > :03:21.old. Run by the Mariposa Trust, this is one of 25 gatherings taking place
:03:22. > :03:23.up and down the country. Open to all faiths, these acts of rememberence
:03:24. > :03:29.are free to attend and feature poetry and music. They were the
:03:30. > :03:34.creation of Andy and his wife Zoe after they suffered the lost of five
:03:35. > :03:37.babies. The services help by people being able to come along, there are
:03:38. > :03:40.acts of rememberence. Things like lighting candles and ringing bells,
:03:41. > :03:44.which almost give a voice to a child they sometimes have never seen or
:03:45. > :03:49.lost in early years. So it is an important part in helping them
:03:50. > :03:58.through the grieving process. MUSIC PLAYS. It's hoped not ignoring that
:03:59. > :04:02.lost will give people a sense of peace in their own lives. MUSIC
:04:03. > :04:05.PLAYS. An animal rights campaigner from
:04:06. > :04:09.Oxford is calling for the law to be changed to protect the rights of
:04:10. > :04:12.crabs and lobsters. Paul Tutt has raised concerns about the way live
:04:13. > :04:14.lobsters are sold in markets in Oxfordshire. Experts say there's a
:04:15. > :04:19.general lack of public awareness about how to treat them. But this
:04:20. > :04:22.company in the city says its spent thousands of pounds on equipment to
:04:23. > :04:29.ensure lobsters are treated humanely. If these were kittens who
:04:30. > :04:32.are being boiled alive or cut up alive or shoved in freezers, there
:04:33. > :04:35.would be huge outcry. But I suppose we tend to identify with other
:04:36. > :04:41.mammals and therefore somehow, this issue has been hidden away. I think
:04:42. > :04:45.there should be legislation of which there is currently not a great deal.
:04:46. > :04:49.But as I say, we are ahead of what the minimum is expected, we are
:04:50. > :04:52.ahead of that so I know we are doing everything we can. We've have
:04:53. > :04:55.invested heavily to make sure we can do that.Wonderful weather this
:04:56. > :04:59.weekend, let's see what the week ahead holds in store. Wonderful
:05:00. > :05:02.weather this weekend. Here's Emily Wood.
:05:03. > :05:05.Good evening. After all of the fine weather this weekend, we will see a
:05:06. > :05:08.gradual change for the weak get head to slightly more unsettled
:05:09. > :05:10.conditions. Low pressure is going to take charge of the weather.

:05:56. > :05:56.later at a twenty past ten. Until then, have a lovely evening. Bye for
:05:57. > :06:13.now. St James Park and Sheffield both hit
:06:14. > :06:19.25 Celsius this afternoon. That gives us our warmest day in nearly
:06:20. > :06:22.nine months, since 5th September 2013. It goes without saying that it
:06:23. > :06:26.is going to be a warm night. Look out for some showers clipping into
:06:27. > :06:31.eastern Scotland. Some of those could be heavy. Still some patchy
:06:32. > :06:34.rain for western Scotland. More persistent rain returning to
:06:35. > :06:39.Northern Ireland by the end of the night. Showers across Mid and North
:06:40. > :06:43.Wales. Temperatures no lower than 13 degrees. We start Monday on a much
