:01:30. > :01:42.Eventually, Lizzie's mother saw the pictures, and contacted the police

:01:43. > :01:48.who spoke to both teenagers and deleted the photographs. We spoke to

:01:49. > :01:54.police forces across the Sotth to see how it is being dealt whth.

:01:55. > :01:56.Under the Freedom of Information Act, we obtained details

:01:57. > :01:58.of sexting incidents reportdd by teachers showing a sharp rise

:01:59. > :02:02.Schools told me that they h`ve been confiscating and checking

:02:03. > :02:04.youngsters? phones and deleting pictures in front of parents

:02:05. > :02:07.and the children involved and say that they are increasingly referring

:02:08. > :02:18.Last year, Thames Valley Police dealt with 40

:02:19. > :02:27.They dealt with 66 cases last year, more than the year before. They say

:02:28. > :02:34.that they have dealt with students as young as ten years old sdnding or

:02:35. > :02:40.receiving indecent images. The police say that whether or not the

:02:41. > :02:43.children are consenting, it is a criminal offence. But they say that

:02:44. > :02:48.they want to educate rather than criminalise children.

:02:49. > :02:54.But the Internet safety teal in Dorset say that we may well see more

:02:55. > :02:56.cases involving children ending up in court in the future.

:02:57. > :02:58.The Department for Education says children will

:02:59. > :03:01.soon be taught about staying safe online from the age of five.

:03:02. > :03:03.Earlier, we asked Jonathan Taylor, a former Metropolitan officdr who

:03:04. > :03:06.specialised in child protection and now works as an advisor on

:03:07. > :03:11.This is something I have known about and that society has known

:03:12. > :03:14.about for a long time, many years, but we are still talking

:03:15. > :03:18.And the only thing that is changing is the percentage of the chhldren

:03:19. > :03:22.involved is going up, and the age of the children involved is gohng down.

:03:23. > :03:25.A lot more needs to be done, not just by law enforcement,

:03:26. > :03:28.but by schools and by parents to understand the issues and what can

:03:29. > :03:39.A man who absconded from Ford Open Prison in West Sussex two wdeks ago

:03:40. > :03:42.48`year`old David Blood walked out of the prison after being j`iled

:03:43. > :03:46.Yesterday, he was arrested in Southgate Street in Winchester.

:04:54. > :04:56.then at 3:15pm, the pipe burst and the lads were trying to keep the

:04:57. > :05:05.water out. Both of the pipe bursts happened

:05:06. > :05:12.about 15 metres away, sending all the water down to these gardens

:05:13. > :05:17.The whole of the ground floor was submerged. You can see the two

:05:18. > :05:23.levels of flooding. We cannot believe it has happened agahn. My

:05:24. > :05:24.wife was in tears. Once was an accident, the second time, ht just

:05:25. > :05:28.should not have happened. I read the families a statelent

:05:29. > :05:31.South East Water gave the BBC. South East Water says it's

:05:32. > :05:44.investigating why the pipe burst We are doing everything that we can

:05:45. > :05:48.to stop this from happening again. They have not contacted us `t all to

:05:49. > :05:54.reassure us or offered `` offer an apology.

:05:55. > :05:59.South East Water are investhgating why the water burst happened again

:06:00. > :06:00.and acknowledge the distress that it has caused.

:06:01. > :06:03.But these families are unlikely to be home before Christmas.
