:02:35. > :02:41.government is consulting on making some quite stiff increases to those
:02:42. > :02:46.there does need to be a big change there does need to be a big change
:02:47. > :02:50.in this area. Ultimately, wd want to be in a position where the tse of a
:02:51. > :02:55.hand-held mobile phone is as socially unacceptable as
:02:56. > :02:58.drink-driving. We also need a high-profile public awareness
:02:59. > :03:02.campaign which educates drivers just on how dangerous it is to use a
:03:03. > :03:06.hand-held mobile phone at the wheel. With that in mind there are some
:03:07. > :03:09.worrying figures out today `bout lorry driver still using mobiles at
:03:10. > :03:15.the wheel. An insurance company has released the results of a strvey
:03:16. > :03:19.carried out which shows half of all lorry drivers admit to having used a
:03:20. > :03:23.mobile phone behind the whedl at some stage. The Road haulagd
:03:24. > :03:27.Association says the advice is absolutely crystal clear. It says if
:03:28. > :03:28.you are driving leave the phone alone.
:03:29. > :03:30.Gareth Down from Weymouth was in his early 20s

:03:37. > :03:39.Gareth found one of the hardest struggles for him - as a man -
:03:40. > :03:47.As part of national fertility week, he told us his story.

:03:51. > :03:57.You get this inferiority to who you are, you're a man,
:03:58. > :04:09.you should be the one that can produce a child.
:04:10. > :04:14.I could lose my way for this and I didn't know we could producd one by
:04:15. > :04:16.other means. I had read up about IVF
:04:17. > :04:19.but you don't really think about the complications
:04:20. > :04:21.that go with it. We'd had two unsuccessful rounds
:04:22. > :04:24.of IVF and the eggs had been As far as I was concerned,
:04:25. > :04:27.the procedure had failed. We had the miscarriage and ht then
:04:28. > :04:30.became my problem. As far as I was concerned,
:04:31. > :04:34.I had lost our baby. Three miscarriages, seven
:04:35. > :04:36.and a half, eight years and eight rounds of treatment,
:04:37. > :04:40.she was at the end and very much of the belief that,
:04:41. > :04:44.if the best of the best hadn't I did find as well that a lot
:04:45. > :04:53.of groups that allowed men on had women on and men just didn't
:04:54. > :04:56.want to speak to women. I set the group up to initi`lly
:04:57. > :04:59.support myself and there was just me The more people joined
:05:00. > :05:02.from around the world... It's brilliant - you can actually
:05:03. > :05:05.unite over something, a difficult I feel it's really important for men
:05:06. > :05:09.to be able to talk because, I wish I had done it sooner but it's
:05:10. > :05:14.now up there for people to find and secret enough that people don't
:05:15. > :05:18.need to know you are on it It took us eight years,
:05:19. > :05:21.four heartbreaking miscarri`ges He really does undo all
:05:22. > :05:25.the problems, all the pain, Just completely irrelevant when
:05:26. > :05:28.you're holding your little liracle. I'm incredibly proud of him and it
:05:29. > :05:31.will help others. huge thanks to them for sharing the
:05:32. > :05:42.story with others. Earlier I spoke to Susan Sednan
:05:43. > :05:44.from infertility Network UK, and I began by asking her why it
:05:45. > :05:54.seems men have been forgottdn. We certainly haven't forgotten them.

:06:06. > :06:11.very important they reach ott and we provide support to people lhke
:06:12. > :06:15.Gareth and everybody else ott there. It is ironic perhaps, that dxperts
:06:16. > :06:20.say positivity can improve chances of conceiving so it almost like a
:06:21. > :06:25.vicious circle. You want to be positive if you are having treatment
:06:26. > :06:27.and go on with the positive attitude, and that can make a
:06:28. > :06:32.difficult because sometimes you difficult because sometimes you
:06:33. > :06:36.don't want to be too positive in case it feels. I know some people
:06:37. > :06:41.that have gone through it and the stresses it puts them under. What
:06:42. > :06:46.needs to change in the long,term and who if anyone needs to insthgate
:06:47. > :06:51.that change? We need to change wider society's understanding of fertility
:06:52. > :06:56.and infertility and people just don't understand the huge ilpact it
:06:57. > :06:59.has. We are trying hard with national fertility awareness week to
:07:00. > :07:03.awareness and also raise aw`reness awareness and also raise aw`reness
:07:04. > :07:06.of the support but is it thdy are for people including men like
