:00:09. > :00:11.Four men were jailed today for a total of more than 20 years

:00:12. > :00:13.as part of the ongoing investigation into the murder

:00:14. > :00:17.Michael Freshwater was found stabbed to death at a flat

:00:18. > :00:22.No one has ever been charged with his murder,

:00:23. > :00:31.The men who were sentenced today were members of a drugs gang

:00:32. > :00:33.who were working together to supply heroin and cocaine to

:00:34. > :00:39.22-year-old Tristan Pope and 23-year-old in Kevin Suika

:00:40. > :00:41.played leading roles, coming down from London

:00:42. > :00:44.to Southampton to deal drugs for nearly a year.

:00:45. > :00:48.Also involved was Dantai Thompson, who was only 17 at the time.

:00:49. > :00:51.Two other men from Southampton, Daniel Sadler and Daniel Ferrett,

:00:52. > :00:55.you can see them here outside court, they're both heroin addicts,

:00:56. > :01:00.Today, four of the five men were jailed, with Sadler given

:01:01. > :01:04.And how does this link to the murder?

:01:05. > :01:08.The body of Michael Freshwater was found at a flat in Westridge Road.

:01:09. > :01:12.Police came to realise the property was at the centre of this highly

:01:13. > :01:17.During their investigation, three men were arrested on suspicion

:01:18. > :01:23.Hampshire Police wanted to press ahead with charges,

:01:24. > :01:25.but the Crown Prosecution Service decided no further

:01:26. > :01:30.Since then, the investigation has floundered.

:01:31. > :01:33.There is still a ?10,000 reward offered by Crimestoppers for any

:01:34. > :01:36.evidence leading to a conviction, but so far no-one has actually been

:01:37. > :01:39.brought to trial for the murder of Michael Freshwater.

:01:40. > :01:45.The inquest into Michael's death is due to open in March.

:01:46. > :01:48.He was a father of four and today in court his partner

:01:49. > :01:55.spoke of her great loss, saying she misses Michael every day.

:01:56. > :01:58.Britain's first official spaceman, Tim Peake, touched down in his home

:01:59. > :02:02.city of Chichester today to meet pupils from his old schools

:02:03. > :02:05.and to see an exhibition in which he was the star!

:02:06. > :02:08.Major Tim has been back on Earth for longer

:02:09. > :02:10.than the six months he spent on the International Space

:02:11. > :02:12.Station and his fans were desperate to see him.

:02:13. > :02:20.It was an out of this world day for dozens of schoolchildren -

:02:21. > :02:24.the day Tim Peake touched down where his life journey began.

:02:25. > :02:29.Thank you very much, and it's fantastic to be back

:02:30. > :02:34.Nationally, more than a million schoolchildren were involved

:02:35. > :02:36.in projects as part of the six-month mission.

:02:37. > :02:39.Today, 60 children from Tim's former primary and senior

:02:40. > :02:43.schools had the chance to question him in person.

:02:44. > :02:47.How has, like, being in space and seeing the Earth from space

:02:48. > :02:50.changed your perspective of the planet and life?

:02:51. > :02:53.There are so many places I feel like I know very well.

:02:54. > :02:56.I've never set foot in those countries or those areas,

:02:57. > :02:59.and maybe never will set foot in them, but I do feel

:03:00. > :03:04.Every day I would look out and photograph them and see them.

:03:05. > :03:07.Tim toured a special exhibition at the city's Novium Museum,

:03:08. > :03:12.It was a bit surreal, actually, coming in and kind

:03:13. > :03:15.of seeing your own life history there on a board in front of you.

:03:16. > :03:18.Strange seeing sort of half your life on display here?

:03:19. > :03:20.It is quite strange, as well as seeing some artefacts

:03:21. > :03:23.here as well that I actually had with me in space, clothing

:03:24. > :03:28.It's seven months since Tim landed, and although he has visited

:03:29. > :03:30.Britain from America, where he lives and works,

:03:31. > :03:33.until today he had not returned to Chichester,

:03:34. > :03:36.which last month prompted some local children to produce a video

:03:37. > :03:40.We and several thousand kids want you to visit.

:03:41. > :03:47.Some people were frustrated You couldn't get back

:03:48. > :03:50.What would you say to them about that?

:03:51. > :03:52.The post-flight period is exceptionally busy.

:03:53. > :03:55.The most important thing for us is the scientific data,

:03:56. > :03:58.that's why we have the space station programme primarily,

:03:59. > :04:01.so we have to capture all of that scientific data.

:04:02. > :04:02.Secondly, being based over in Houston, of course,

:04:03. > :04:05.makes it difficult to get back to the UK.

:04:06. > :04:09.So everything just takes its time during that post-flight period.

:04:10. > :04:12.During his space trip, Tim appeared on South Today,

:04:13. > :04:16.and revealed one of the things he missed most was the rain.

:04:17. > :04:19.The feeling of nice, cold drizzle on my face right now

:04:20. > :04:24.You've been back a few months now, back in England, have

:04:25. > :04:28.I still do and always have loved the outdoors,

:04:29. > :04:31.and so any weather, to be outside, camping, hiking, walking, cycling,

:04:32. > :04:36.So for me, being on board the space station, that was one

:04:37. > :04:39.of the most difficult things, was just getting used to that

:04:40. > :04:44.Today, Tim was invited to receive the Freedom of the City.

:04:45. > :04:47.He hopes to return later this year and there are plans for a special

:04:48. > :04:54.Farmers in Sussex have launched a campaign warning dog owners

:04:55. > :04:57.that their pets can be shot if they attack sheep.

:04:58. > :05:00.Last Sunday, a dog was shot in front of its owners because they couldn't

:05:01. > :05:03.stop it worrying a flock of sheep on a farm near Chichester.

:05:04. > :05:06.The owners hadn't realised the animals were nearby

:05:07. > :05:08.when they let their pet off the lead.

:05:09. > :05:11.The Farmers Union has warned that sheep attacks are on the increase,

:05:12. > :05:15.with around 130 incidents in Sussex every year.

:05:16. > :05:20.We've got a very urban population nearby to some rural areas.

:05:21. > :05:24.We've got a lot of livestock in the area and there's probably

:05:25. > :05:29.The dog was probably playing with the sheep, but unfortunately,

:05:30. > :05:32.that act is causing a massive panic throughout the sheep and the dog

:05:33. > :05:37.was seen to be biting them and it was causing huge problems.

:05:38. > :05:41.A 900-year-old skeleton found in Hampshire has revealed important

:05:42. > :05:45.Researchers say the remains of the man, thought to be

:05:46. > :05:47.a religious pilgrim, were excavated at a burial

:05:48. > :05:52.Scientific detective work suggests he caught the highly-contagious skin

:05:53. > :05:55.disease on his travels to a shrine in Spain and brought it
