:03:48. > :03:49.Do you think they should be discouraged from doing this?

:03:50. > :03:51.I mean, there are enough people fighting,

:03:52. > :03:54.but of course we don't want to encourage anyone to go out there.

:03:55. > :03:57.They don't know what kind of battle is happening.

:03:58. > :04:01.I think probably if the British Government were doing

:04:30. > :04:31.described as security-related charges when she took her

:04:32. > :04:32.two-year-old daughter, Gabriella, to Iran last year.

:04:33. > :04:34.Earlier, I spoke to her husband, Richard Ractliffe,

:04:35. > :04:46.I began by asking what he knows about his wife's condition.

:04:47. > :04:49.Nazanin has been complaining for a couple of months, on and off,

:04:50. > :04:52.about different kinds of pains in her back and her neck

:04:53. > :04:55.and restrictions in the way she can move and what she can lift,

:04:56. > :04:56.particularly not being able to lift Gabriella.

:04:57. > :04:59.And she had been to see the doctor inside the prison

:05:00. > :05:01.a couple of weeks back, who insisted that she go

:05:02. > :05:04.for an emergency checkup with the specialist and she finally

:05:05. > :05:06.had that yesterday and obviously, he suggested that she be admitted

:05:07. > :05:08.immediately into hospital for urgent treatment.

:05:09. > :05:10.So, it is really hard to know quite how bad things

:05:11. > :05:16.are but that is really not a good sign.

:05:17. > :05:18.And how confident are you that she will actually

:05:19. > :05:23.I think if she gets to hospital then she well and I think

:05:24. > :05:26.if she is in prison then it is obviously very restricted

:05:27. > :05:30.Whether she gets to hospital or not is a decision

:05:31. > :05:38.And what about your daughter, Gabriella, because her passport

:05:39. > :05:43.Gabriella is still there, still legally detained by the Iranians.

:05:44. > :05:46.What has happened now says she has moved to the general cells

:05:47. > :05:49.is she is getting to see her mum much more frequently,

:05:50. > :05:54.Yes, I have left things with Nazanin but I have promised her that

:05:55. > :05:57.obviously I would love to have Gabriella home but it is for Nazanin

:05:58. > :06:00.to decide when she is ready and if she is ready and then we can

:06:01. > :06:02.look at what alternative arrangements could be possible.

:06:03. > :06:05.I mean, I've been trying to get to Iran but it looks

:06:06. > :06:10.What's the next stage in your campaign?

:06:11. > :06:13.Well, I guess we'll have to take stock as to what Nazanin's condition

:06:14. > :06:15.is and how the authorities respond and after, we keep going.

:06:16. > :06:18.And I said to the Iranians and I said to the Foreign Office

:06:19. > :06:20.we will just keep going, campaigning, until

:06:21. > :06:27.And how are you keeping her morale high?

:06:28. > :06:29.She was actually very, very down on the phone yesterday.

:06:30. > :06:33.I spoke to her, which was the first time for a number of weeks

:06:34. > :06:38.And there was nothing I could say that was going to reassure her apart

:06:39. > :06:41.It must be incredibly difficult for all of you.

:06:42. > :06:43.Thank you for your time this evening.

:06:44. > :06:59.A special service was held today to remember those

:07:00. > :07:02.who lost their lives in the sinking of the SS Mendi.

:07:03. > :07:04.More than 600 people died when the troopship went down off

:07:05. > :07:07.the Isle of Wight exactly a hundred years ago this week.

:07:08. > :07:09.Most of those onboard were black South Africans,

:07:10. > :07:10.travelling to France to assist the allies.

:07:11. > :07:13.Today their loss was commemorated at a service attended

:07:14. > :07:15.by Her Royal Highness Princess Anne in Southampton.

:07:16. > :07:18.We all know what it's like trying to park in a tight space.

:07:19. > :07:20.But one man has taken matters into his own hands,

:07:21. > :07:23.after getting a ticket for parking over a line by two inches.

:07:24. > :07:25.So much so South West Trains is having to re-paint

:07:26. > :07:27.part of its car park at Southampton Central

:07:28. > :07:29.station after he proved spaces were too small.

:07:30. > :07:34.Jago Lawless was issued a penalty notice because his car just

:07:35. > :07:40.overlapped one of the spaces at Southampton Central Station.

:07:41. > :07:43.My front wheel, where I had edged the front of the car over

:07:44. > :07:46.so I could actually get out of the door, the front of the car

:07:47. > :07:50.had moved over an inch, two inches over the line.

:07:51. > :07:53.But he felt something wasn't right and as a naval architect by day,

:07:54. > :07:58.who reviews detailed measurements, he took out his own measuring tape.

:07:59. > :08:01.But because they have angled parking bay over,

:08:02. > :08:04.the parallel width between the lines is actually only 1.978 metres

:08:05. > :08:09.wide which is too small for the average sized car.

:08:10. > :08:12.South West Trains says the car park was marked out before

:08:13. > :08:15.the guidelines came in, but it will repaint some of its

:08:16. > :08:20.But it appears small parking spaces isn't just an issue

:08:21. > :08:32.In general, all parking spaces are way too small for today's cars.

:08:33. > :08:35.Too small because when you open your door, you're practically touching

:08:36. > :08:40.Jago tells me he's happy that the company is taking positive

:08:41. > :08:55.We're back tomorrow with bulletins in BBC Breakfast and there's more

:08:56. > :09:06.Now Alexis Green is here with our regional weather forecast.

:09:07. > :09:12.we saw some lovely conditions. Top temperature is 17 Celsius, well

:09:13. > :09:17.above the seasonal average and in fact it made it the warmest day of

:09:18. > :09:21.the year so far. We are expecting some outbreaks of rain overnight.

:09:22. > :09:26.Some bright weather to be had as well this week. A mild start but

:09:27. > :09:29.turning colder from Thursday onwards. A good deal of cloud

:09:30. > :09:34.tonight with outbreaks of rain which may become persistent and heavy for

:09:35. > :09:40.a time during the early hours of the morning. Lowest temperatures nine

:09:41. > :09:43.Celsius. A cloudy and wet start to the day tomorrow. We will see

:09:44. > :09:47.outbreaks of rain but slowly and surely the rain will start to clear

:09:48. > :09:52.and we will see brighter interludes with highs of 12 Celsius. Tomorrow

:09:53. > :09:58.is a mild day and tomorrow night is a mild might as well. A good deal of

:09:59. > :10:01.Cloud. Outbreaks of rain and there will be an increasing west to

:10:02. > :10:06.south-westerly wind. We could see gay laws during Wednesday along the

:10:07. > :10:15.coast. Temperatures tomorrow night falling away to nine Celsius. The

:10:16. > :10:22.chance are brisk south-westerly winds. Some outbreaks of heavy rain.

:10:23. > :10:25.Gradually they were seized during the course of the day. The risk of

:10:26. > :10:46.gay laws once again on Thursday. -- gales. It could turn wintry at

:10:47. > :10:53.times on Friday. On Thursday, the air will start to turn colder. Highs

:10:54. > :11:00.of eight Celsius. Friday, clear spells. Overnight into Saturday

:11:01. > :11:03.morning, we may have a frost. There will be a spell of rain.

:11:04. > :11:15.As you have just seen, after a day in which some of you have been

:11:16. > :11:18.shedding the layers, you will be putting them back on for the rest of

:11:19. > :11:21.this week. Big changes ahead, all down to where the air has been

:11:22. > :11:27.coming from. Today, it originated in the Caribbean, hence the name

:11:28. > :11:31.tropical maritime air. Temperatures peaked at 18 degrees. But later this

:11:32. > :11:34.week, the winds go to the north-west, a different source,

:11:35. > :11:35.polar maritime
