:01:35. > :01:38.Last night, all the aid was packed ready for its long journey.

:01:39. > :01:45.Box by box, all of the aid supplies were passed along a human chain

:01:46. > :01:48.and stacked in the shipping container in which it'll be

:01:49. > :01:54.transported to its final destination in Syria.

:01:55. > :02:02.You want to do anything you can and this is something that I can do.

:02:03. > :02:05.For me, it's demonstrating the best in humanity.

:02:06. > :02:08.People are hearing and then the word's spreading,

:02:09. > :02:14.People have donated blankets, clothes, food and medicines -

:02:15. > :02:18.many motivated to help after seeing TV reports of the misery caused

:02:19. > :02:24.I think it was probably because I spent most evenings

:02:25. > :02:27.watching the news in absolute despair and I felt like I had to do

:02:28. > :02:34.Everybody from all communities came together and I think it's just shown

:02:35. > :02:37.that love coming across and that willingness to help as well.

:02:38. > :02:41.The Portsmouth-based charity Don't Hate, Donate used a big event

:02:42. > :02:44.in the city's Guildhall Square to publicise its

:02:45. > :02:51.The aid will be distributed by inexperienced team in Syria.

:02:52. > :02:55.So we work with British humanitarian aid workers

:02:56. > :02:59.on the ground over in Syria, and they are ready.

:03:00. > :03:02.They've got a fantastic team in place and they distribute

:03:03. > :03:04.it to the most needy on the ground there.

:03:05. > :03:08.The charity is now planning to send another consignment of aid
