:00:40. > :00:42.It's obviously nonsense, the idea that, because someone

:00:43. > :00:45.is protesting their innocence, they must be guilty.

:00:46. > :00:49.And, if anything, I think what they want most of all is to try

:00:50. > :00:53.There's not much I can do to disrupt that apart from to keep

:00:54. > :00:55.raising it so I'm sure it's what she would want.

:01:28. > :01:30.that they fear is about to quite literally cast a shadow

:01:31. > :01:36.Presumably, when the tower block is up, it will take sunlight

:01:37. > :01:40.from our balcony from about three o'clock in the afternoon,

:01:41. > :01:44.This week, councillors took the plunge in granting permission

:01:45. > :01:49.for the development on the site of this former swimming pool.

:01:59. > :02:05.I think it's a good thing for Worthing and it provides some

:02:06. > :02:09.I think it's good for the economy as well and, finally,

:02:18. > :02:19.The apartments will sell for between half a million

:02:20. > :02:23.In my view, there aren't very many people who can afford those

:02:28. > :02:31.or Brighton who just spent the weekends here.

:02:32. > :02:34.Nobody will be surprised to find that the developers have expressed

:02:35. > :02:36.pleasure that the decision has gone the way it has.

:02:37. > :02:40.What they say is they now intend to work with the council and local

:02:41. > :02:43.people to ensure that what arises from the site beyond us

:02:44. > :02:47.here is something that everyone in Worthing can be proud of.

:02:48. > :02:50.The developer has won awards for other buildings like this

:02:51. > :02:52.on the seafront but, far from pride, many feel this

:03:28. > :03:32.It's the brainchild of a man who has won the London marathon and says

:03:33. > :03:35.more and more people are taking up the sport.

:03:36. > :03:40.It's the biggest growing sport in the country still.

:03:41. > :03:42.The estimate is something like 1.5 million people taking part

:03:43. > :03:45.in a running event each year and 800,000 take

:03:46. > :03:50.That's quite a lot of people, so the demand for events

:04:52. > :04:54.But many of us dipping to around minus two, minus three.

:04:55. > :04:57.And that freezing fog, as is the case at this time of year,

:04:58. > :05:00.will be very slow to clear, if at all, so some parts
