:00:14. > :00:17.in an explosion in Oxford had a history of mental illness and had

:00:18. > :00:20.Human remains were found at the site yesterday.

:00:21. > :00:23.The as-yet-unexplained blast caused a block of flats to collapse

:00:24. > :00:25.in the Osney area of the city, and 40 homes were evacuated.

:00:26. > :00:35.Sifting through the rubble, this grim, painstaking job may

:00:36. > :00:38.reveal what caused the explosion that police believe killed this man

:00:39. > :00:47.- 48-year-old Guido Schuette, a tenant in one of the flats.

:00:48. > :00:51.The City Councillor for this part of Oxford said he had a background

:00:52. > :00:53.of mental health issues and contact with authorities.

:00:54. > :00:55.The police are very well aware of the person who it

:00:56. > :00:58.seems has been killed, of the threats that he was making

:00:59. > :01:00.before this, and of his medical history and so on.

:01:01. > :01:03.So a lot of questions will need to be asked.

:01:04. > :01:05.Thames Valley Police haven't responded to us today

:01:06. > :01:08.Their crime scene investigators and detectives are likely to be

:01:09. > :01:14.working behind these screens for some time.

:01:15. > :01:16.And as the clean-up and demolition gets underway,

:01:17. > :01:18.the housing association, which owns this site, is assessing

:01:19. > :01:23.Three flats were destroyed, and it's likely another five

:01:24. > :01:29.It is A2 Dominion that own these flats.

:01:30. > :01:32.And it's their job to look after their tenants.

:01:33. > :01:35.They must quickly try and see what stock they have available,

:01:36. > :01:38.and I hope that they can find something that will

:01:39. > :01:41.And it could be a permanent move, or it could perhaps be temporary.

:01:42. > :01:45.And if they do rebuild these flats and people want to come back

:01:46. > :01:47.to where they've always lived, then I hope they'll be able

:01:48. > :01:50.A2 Dominion is meeting residents tomorrow to discuss

:01:51. > :01:57.Those I spoke to today say this devastating blast has left

:01:58. > :02:02.many very traumatised, but keen to move on.

:02:15. > :02:17.who had travelled to Syria to fight against the so-called Islamic State.

:02:18. > :02:20.He died in a battle in December while fighting with the Kurdish

:02:21. > :02:25.It is believed he killed himself to avoid capture.

:03:11. > :03:13.It's been written by the singer-songwriter Emma Buckley

:03:14. > :03:16.in memory of her lost friend, a Dorset teenager

:03:26. > :03:30.Very quiet, very loving, just a beautiful person.

:03:31. > :03:33.Vinnie Appleby from Poole died from leukaemia last year.

:03:34. > :03:38.He wasn't the person you'd find at the front or anything.

:03:39. > :03:40.He'd always be in the background, making things happen.

:03:41. > :03:42.But the nice thing is, since losing Vinnie,

:03:43. > :03:46.all of his friends, people we don't even know, have come up to us

:03:47. > :03:48.and told us how he's affected their lives.

:03:49. > :03:50.Vinnie's family didn't want his memory to fade,

:03:51. > :03:56.so this song was written in honour of him, to be sung at his funeral.

:03:57. > :03:59.I wrote the song and sang it for the parents the night

:04:00. > :04:07.I think the impact that it had was amazing.

:04:08. > :04:10.This song is all about the troubles that you go through,

:04:11. > :04:17.and how one day at a time really is how you have to live life.

:04:18. > :04:20.And the power of that song was so strong, his family wanted it

:04:21. > :04:23.to be released to help many other young men and women fighting cancer,

:04:24. > :04:29.We want to raise as much money as we possibly can.

:04:30. > :04:32.We've set ourselves a target, it's ?50,000 to the Teenage Cancer Trust.

:04:33. > :04:37.Even in his last few days, Vinnie was helping to raise funds

:05:02. > :05:05.And we've still got some mist, some fog lingering

:05:06. > :05:08.So the cloud is only going to thicken up.

:05:09. > :05:12.We could even see the odd spot of light rain and drizzle.

:05:13. > :05:15.These are the temperatures you'd expect by day,

:05:16. > :05:19.And that sets us up for quite a grey start to tomorrow.

:05:20. > :05:22.Some of the mist and fog will take its time to shift.

:05:23. > :05:25.And the cloud will always be thick enough for a little bit

:05:26. > :05:29.But particularly into the afternoon, perhaps the high ground is your best

:05:30. > :05:33.It is going to be a mild day tomorrow, regardless

:05:34. > :05:35.of if you see any brightness, temperatures up to 13,

:05:36. > :05:40.Now, it does stay mild certainly for the first part of next week.

:05:41. > :05:43.I think you can expect a lot of cloud through the middle part

:05:44. > :05:46.of next week, with some patchy rain at times, and turning

:05:47. > :06:20.on and on. It is because of the direction of the wind. Tomorrow's

:06:21. > :06:25.temperatures might be higher than today by a couple of degrees. There

:06:26. > :06:29.has been a lot of cloud. But we had some lovely pictures coming in. Some

:06:30. > :06:35.sunshine, but predominantly the clouds have been -- the skies have

:06:36. > :06:42.been cloudy. This will continue as well as a smattering of rain. For

:06:43. > :06:47.all those reasons it isn't going to be a cold night. In fact a night's

:06:48. > :06:53.temperatures will be higher than the daytime maximum averages for this
