:00:19. > :00:20.who shouted homophobic abuse as they punched and kicked them.

:00:35. > :00:41.All of my top seven front teeth are completely away.

:00:42. > :00:43.It was horrific what happened, but coming in afterwards,

:00:44. > :00:48.after being in the hospital, and my son seeing me with no teeth.

:00:49. > :00:51.That was more painful than any blow that could have, could have been,

:00:52. > :00:53.because he doesn't understand why someone's done that.

:00:54. > :01:02.It's a vicious animal thing that's ruined six women's lives.

:01:03. > :01:05.The women were walking home from a night out in this

:01:06. > :01:09.bar on Easter Sunday when they were set upon.

:01:10. > :01:11.They say up to 30 men, who they believe are Polish,

:01:12. > :01:15.brutally attacked them because they are lesbians.

:01:16. > :01:19.They were just punching me, kicking me, pulling my hair.

:01:20. > :01:21.Grabbing me inappropriately and calling me a dirty dyke.

:01:22. > :01:31.As a group as well, it's shattered us - completely.

:01:32. > :01:36.The women are upset with the way Hampshire Police

:01:37. > :01:40.responded that night, and in the days that followed.

:01:41. > :01:45.Like they're there to do a job and I don't feel

:01:46. > :01:49.My friend was telling the police to call for an ambulance

:01:50. > :01:51.and they turned round and said she can get a taxi.

:01:52. > :01:54.And I'm seizuring - blood's coming out of my mouth -

:01:55. > :01:57.on the floor and the police, none of them even come

:01:58. > :02:00.The police have told us homophobic crimes are treated

:02:01. > :02:05.While four men they arrested have now been released,

:02:06. > :02:13.they say several lines of inquiry are ongoing.

:02:14. > :02:15.The Iranian Supreme Court has rejected an appeal

:02:16. > :02:17.against a five-year prison sentence given to a woman

:02:18. > :02:21.accused of trying to topple the Tehran government.

:02:51. > :02:57.It's been a poignant day for a young family from New Zealand,

:02:58. > :03:00.in a service to commemorate 94 Anzac soldiers buried in

:03:01. > :03:05.the Commonwealth War Graves Cemetery at Brockenhurst in Hampshire.

:03:06. > :03:08.The men were all patients at the New Zealand General Hospital,

:03:09. > :03:10.set up in the village to care for men injured

:03:11. > :03:15.Among those who never returned home was Alita Holdaway's

:03:16. > :03:27.Lest we forget, that is what we have grown up hearing, those words.

:03:47. > :03:52.will have been running in the London marathon today, Southampton

:03:53. > :03:54.staged its first full marathon And it was won by a local man

:03:55. > :03:58.running his first ever marathon. Pounding the streets is tough enough

:03:59. > :04:01.but add in features like the steep incline of the Itchen Bridge,

:04:02. > :04:03.across and back again, and the Southampton marathon

:04:04. > :04:06.was clearly not one for the faint hearted - or anyone who hadn't

:04:07. > :04:12.put the training in. words are real life, lest we forget

:04:13. > :04:16.these men who died on the opposite side of the world from New Zealand.

:04:17. > :04:20.I definitely think it is something to remember. These guys have already

:04:21. > :04:24.ran the 13 miles. Quite a few from our local park. Lots of cheering and

:04:25. > :04:27.lots of support. They are doing fantastic.

:04:28. > :04:35.A Saints legend was among those taking part.

:04:36. > :04:37.Three races were being run simultaneously -

:04:38. > :04:40.a 10k, a half marathon, and for the first time in three

:04:41. > :04:44.But there was certainly a competitive edge - the winner.

:04:45. > :04:49.The event's also been a winner for the city,

:04:50. > :04:51.bringing hundreds of thousands into the local economy,

:04:52. > :04:53.and raising many more for local good causes.
