:00:12. > :00:17.The widow who lost her entire family in a crash says the police need to

:00:18. > :00:21.learn lessons from her tragedy. Good evening. The family car was hit

:00:22. > :00:24.by a taxi driver who was thought to be suicidal. In an emotional

:00:25. > :00:43.statement the only survivor says she's lost everything. I loved being

:00:44. > :00:47.her mum, and I loved being a wife. But my hope is that the police

:00:48. > :00:50.service will learn from this study. More on that story in a moment. Also

:00:51. > :00:52.tonight: A reprieve for the region's only airlink.

:00:53. > :00:56.The service will now continue until October, but doubt remains over its

:00:57. > :00:59.longer term future. And the Council accused of breaching

:01:00. > :01:10.health and safety laws after the death of a pensioner in Exeter.

:01:11. > :01:13.A woman who lost her husband, son and unborn daughter in an horrific

:01:14. > :01:17.car crash last summer in Torquay has blamed the police service for the

:01:18. > :01:20.way they dealt with the case. Elber Twomey said her wonderful life ended

:01:21. > :01:23.after a suicidal taxi driver deliberately drove into their car

:01:24. > :01:28.while he was being followed by the police. This report by Spotlight's

:01:29. > :01:38.Janine Jansen contains flash photography. On the 6th of July last

:01:39. > :01:43.year, the suicidal packs a driver deliberately drove into the car

:01:44. > :01:50.coming from the opposite direction on the 8080 in Turkey. The Polish

:01:51. > :01:57.driver, a 20 sexual, was arrested but died. `` a 26`year`old will stop

:01:58. > :02:02.in the other car was a family. Elber Twomey was the only survivor. She

:02:03. > :02:06.lost her unborn daughter, her son and ten months after the accident,

:02:07. > :02:13.her husband also died from his injuries. This policeman was

:02:14. > :02:18.following the driver just before the crash. With a high risk missing

:02:19. > :02:21.person and had to be stopped. The coroner said he carried out his

:02:22. > :02:27.duties in an exemplary fashion and followed police guidelines. But

:02:28. > :02:30.Elber Twomey disagrees. I believe that following a speed with flashing

:02:31. > :02:37.lights, Deeside and learning and the hand gestures panicked the driver

:02:38. > :02:43.and caused him to do what he did. I do blame the police service. I am

:02:44. > :02:46.convinced that the police service needs to review their handling of

:02:47. > :02:51.how they deal with a missing person who is known to have left a suicide

:02:52. > :02:53.note. On this occasion police operated entirely in line with

:02:54. > :02:59.nationally agreed procedures and training. This has further been

:03:00. > :03:05.evidenced in the independent report. Was the circumstances of this tragic

:03:06. > :03:08.incident have not identified any issues with our training and

:03:09. > :03:12.procedures be continuously review our response and CDs incidents in

:03:13. > :03:17.order to update our training where appropriate. That has had a

:03:18. > :03:21.devastating impact on the policing community. We join the police to

:03:22. > :03:24.protect and serve the public and the wondrous others' outcome. It was a

:03:25. > :03:37.tragedy that affected the whole wheat station. I loved being a mum,

:03:38. > :03:42.and I loved being a wife. But I hope is that the police service will

:03:43. > :03:48.learn from our horrific story, that they could be appropriate policies

:03:49. > :03:50.and training in place and how to deal with the driver who has

:03:51. > :03:57.expressed an intention to commit suicide. After all, we have all

:03:58. > :04:04.learned that the vehicle can be used as a lethal weapon. Please, God,

:04:05. > :04:09.these can be put in place before in another innocent family has to

:04:10. > :04:16.experience such complete loss, total heartbreak and extreme tragedy.

:04:17. > :04:20.Elber Twomey ending that report. A stay of execution has been granted

:04:21. > :04:23.tonight for the south west's only airlink to London. The daily Newquay

:04:24. > :04:27.to Gatwick service was due to stop next spring, but a deal has been

:04:28. > :04:30.done to keep Flybe running a London service until the autumn. However

:04:31. > :04:33.the company has warned that after that the service will need public

:04:34. > :04:40.money if it's to survive. Our business correspondent Neil

:04:41. > :04:45.Gallacher reports. For once, some good news about the

:04:46. > :04:48.region's only a link to London. We had been told that Flybe were

:04:49. > :04:52.dropping this route from people, no video port has struck a deal with

:04:53. > :04:58.them to keep them flying until October. It is a stopgap, keeping

:04:59. > :05:01.the link going until it is hoped and expected that government subsidy

:05:02. > :05:08.will be `` will become available. Ten Maxi that it cannot work without

:05:09. > :05:11.subsidy. This is the route that without public subsidy is not

:05:12. > :05:16.sustainable. If you look at Scotland in some parts of Wales, there are

:05:17. > :05:21.public subsidised routes that keep those passengers on the move. I

:05:22. > :05:25.think London and the DFT needs to seriously look at their commitment

:05:26. > :05:28.to be balancing the economy and let's see what they can come up with

:05:29. > :05:33.by October. All eyes on October next year, Cornwall already knows the

:05:34. > :05:38.route is eligible for something the government subsidy, the question is,

:05:39. > :05:42.will it be enough money to pay for a proper site clean in the proper

:05:43. > :05:47.London airport? Does the council accepted his elegant `` it is an

:05:48. > :05:52.anxiety that the subsidy could only be enough to pay for a link to

:05:53. > :05:55.somewhere like Southend? It is, at the moment they have said it as a

:05:56. > :06:00.London airport, not a specific airport, but we believe we have the

:06:01. > :06:06.facts and figures paint Gatwick as being the airport that we want to be

:06:07. > :06:10.will be working with our MPs to make sure we can lobby government to get

:06:11. > :06:15.Gatwick as the named airport. Rates now, the main reaction is simple

:06:16. > :06:21.relief that the service will not stop after all this coming spring.

:06:22. > :06:24.It is important for us as with hunters for where we are based. Many

:06:25. > :06:28.of our customers come from London and lie on being able to get up and

:06:29. > :06:33.back very, so using an aeroplane is very important. Long`term questions

:06:34. > :06:41.in unanswered but at least there will still be a daily air link to

:06:42. > :06:46.the `` to Gatwick. That is crucial. Neil is in Newquay for us know. Why

:06:47. > :06:51.the change of heart from Flybe that they will carry on until October?

:06:52. > :06:56.Cornwall Council's airport has cut them a favourable deal, also there

:06:57. > :07:01.have been some extra landing spot freed up at Gatwick lately and Flybe

:07:02. > :07:05.themselves have had a recent change of management. That may be

:07:06. > :07:08.associated with the change of mind. To Flybe hope to be the company who

:07:09. > :07:16.carry on with the route when the subsidies become available? A black

:07:17. > :07:19.there is no `` there is no doubt that there will be in LA on the

:07:20. > :07:25.subsidies high enough. The building will be given this work without

:07:26. > :07:32.public tender prices. How unusual is this idea of the subsidy? It is

:07:33. > :07:36.really unusual, it is the first thing that the aviation subsidy like

:07:37. > :07:39.this will have been used in England. The already have them on routes such

:07:40. > :07:45.as Shetland into Edinburgh, between Anglesey in Cardiff, but within

:07:46. > :07:48.England it is unheard of. We are talking about several million pounds

:07:49. > :07:52.being given for a period of at least four years. It is like what happens

:07:53. > :07:57.in the real ways. The first time in aviation and that is a recognition

:07:58. > :08:05.of how peripheral Cornwall is at how unusual important air link is to the

:08:06. > :08:08.local college. Exeter City Council was today

:08:09. > :08:11.accused of breaching health and safety laws following the death of a

:08:12. > :08:14.pensioner. 80`year`old Dorothy Stevens drowned while trying to get

:08:15. > :08:17.off the Butts Ferry at Exeter Quay in 2010. Prosecutors say the

:08:18. > :08:21.handrail and steps, where people get on and off the ferry, were unsafe.

:08:22. > :08:27.From Exeter Crown Court, Hamish Marshall reports.

:08:28. > :08:30.The ferry has been part of life at Exeter chief for more than three

:08:31. > :08:34.centuries. It carries up to 30,000 people each year but the death of

:08:35. > :08:40.one passenger has left Exeter City Council in court. Dorothy Stevens

:08:41. > :08:43.was 80, she lived at Silverton and suffered from arthritis in her

:08:44. > :08:48.hands, joint and rates me. She walked with a stick and in July 2010

:08:49. > :08:53.she travelled into Exeter with her daughter and granddaughter. In a

:08:54. > :08:57.statement read to the court, Mrs Stevens's. , Gillian, said that when

:08:58. > :09:01.they arrived they decided not to use the ferry to cross the river because

:09:02. > :09:06.the steps were too steep, but on the way back it started to rain so to

:09:07. > :09:10.save time to use it. Mrs Stevens struggles to admit the steps as she

:09:11. > :09:16.got the ferry, a rocking stick broke and she fell into the river.

:09:17. > :09:27.Mrs Stevens `` where Mrs Stevens, who couldn't swim, drowned, looks

:09:28. > :09:30.very different today. The jury were told that there are

:09:31. > :09:35.two key elements to this case. Firstly the steepness of the steps

:09:36. > :09:38.and also the different heights. And the fact that the fact that he had

:09:39. > :09:42.real but not go to the steps. The prosecution said this was inadequate

:09:43. > :09:46.to deal with the risk of someone falling into the water.

:09:47. > :09:51.Exeter City Council denies failing to ensure the steps where as safe as

:09:52. > :09:53.reasonably practical. These `` the case continues.

:09:54. > :09:56.The latest round of cuts to vital public services in the south west

:09:57. > :10:00.will be examined tonight. Torbay council is holding a public meeting

:10:01. > :10:02.after proposing ?22 million worth of savings. Our home affairs

:10:03. > :10:14.correspondent Simon Hall is at the venue, the bay's Riviera Centre.

:10:15. > :10:18.Torbay is the latest authority in the region to warn of painful

:10:19. > :10:21.spending cuts, to also one of the impact they could have on services.

:10:22. > :10:26.And indeed to ask for public help in dealing with them. With events like

:10:27. > :10:32.the meeting tonight. After 27 years of addiction, Terry

:10:33. > :10:36.has finally beaten everyone. He was helped by a local project, but it

:10:37. > :10:44.faces losing all of its funding under the budget cuts. Its future is

:10:45. > :10:51.uncertain. Saved my life, it has saved money. That's the bottom line.

:10:52. > :10:54.If that is what it is coming money, I am living proof that this project

:10:55. > :11:01.has saved this council money. If it is lost,

:11:02. > :11:06.has saved this council money. If it and ruined. It will be a travesty,

:11:07. > :11:12.there will be many more people out there committing crime, more victims

:11:13. > :11:15.of crime. More people in and out of prison in hospital. Torbay Council

:11:16. > :11:20.must save ?22 million over the next two years. That is in addition to

:11:21. > :11:24.?19 million worth of cuts that have already been made. Services which

:11:25. > :11:29.could suffer include support for people with learning difficulties,

:11:30. > :11:33.sheltered housing for older people, libraries, citizens advice bureau

:11:34. > :11:37.is, to listen and road maintenance and organisations fighting drug and

:11:38. > :11:41.alcohol addiction. We can find the money or save the money or save some

:11:42. > :11:46.of these services I am very willing to listen. Very willing to take into

:11:47. > :11:51.account people's views on these issues. That is why we are having

:11:52. > :11:53.this night. It is one of the most difficult decisions this council

:11:54. > :11:58.will ever have to make on the financial side, probably in its

:11:59. > :12:01.history. That is why I want people to be well and truly educated as to

:12:02. > :12:06.why we are doing this. A public consultation into the proposed cuts

:12:07. > :12:12.to the services in Derby is now underway.

:12:13. > :12:16.The Maher told me earlier on that snaked's meeting is an important

:12:17. > :12:19.part of the consultation. It will run for a couple of months. The

:12:20. > :12:22.final decision on where the cuts will fall will be made in February

:12:23. > :12:29.and we will have a full report on the meeting in her News at 1025.

:12:30. > :12:34.Some news in brief, and armed police are dealing with a reported firearms

:12:35. > :12:38.incident in Barnstaple. The stand and Castle Street have been cordoned

:12:39. > :12:41.off. Police are concerned about the man in the property. People ask to

:12:42. > :12:44.avoid ENE. The BBC has learnt that the European

:12:45. > :12:48.Commission is to investigate a deal to secure the future of the new

:12:49. > :12:51.nuclear power station at Hinkley C in Somerset. The Commission will be

:12:52. > :12:53.looking into whether the price the government will pay for the

:12:54. > :12:56.electricity breaches guidelines on subsidies. Today the Commons'

:12:57. > :13:00.Environmental Audit Committee also said it believed the government was

:13:01. > :13:03.subsidising energy. Wessex Water has announced that

:13:04. > :13:07.customer bills will go down in real terms over the next six years. The

:13:08. > :13:18.water company, which covers parts of Somerset and Dorset, plans to keep

:13:19. > :13:21.bills below inflation. An announcement by the government

:13:22. > :13:25.today has brought the possibility of a badger cull in Devon and Cornwall

:13:26. > :13:28.a step closer. The Environment Secretary told MPs the pilot cull in

:13:29. > :13:31.Gloucestershire had removed less than 40% of the animals, but still

:13:32. > :13:34.claimed it was a "significant achievement". We're joined now by

:13:35. > :13:38.our Political editor Martyn Oates. This is a much lower figure than the

:13:39. > :13:42.government was aiming for, isn't it? Yes, originally the government

:13:43. > :13:47.following its own scientific advice said that 70% of badgers in any

:13:48. > :13:50.given area needed to be called and that it fell short of that targets

:13:51. > :13:55.there was a risk that the disease could be made worse by Badger groups

:13:56. > :13:59.being disrupted and spreading bovine key further afield. Figures have

:14:00. > :14:04.fallen short in the Somerset area and Gloucestershire, we now know

:14:05. > :14:06.that in Gloucestershire it is hugely short. Opponents say the government

:14:07. > :14:11.has filled under its own criteria, it is probably making disease worse

:14:12. > :14:17.and it should stop. The Environment Secretary has said we can expect

:14:18. > :14:21.long`term benefits in terms of disease reduction after four years

:14:22. > :14:26.of sustained culling. Can we take it from that that the culling will

:14:27. > :14:29.continue? It has been decided that in the pilot areas culling will

:14:30. > :14:36.continue for the next three years, the big question is whether it is

:14:37. > :14:39.extended further afield. Opponents are expected to take advice from an

:14:40. > :14:45.independent panel and decide early in the New Year. Deaf as the

:14:46. > :14:53.potential for new licences to be offered.

:14:54. > :14:56.There are serious concerns the horticultural industry in the South

:14:57. > :14:59.West could face labour shortages when Romania and Bulgaria become

:15:00. > :15:02.full members of the EU next year. The Government is scrapping a scheme

:15:03. > :15:05.which brought thousands of seasonal labourers from outside the EU to

:15:06. > :15:12.work on the region's farms. Spotlight's Anna Varle reports. The

:15:13. > :15:18.signs of early spring. These are the first daffodils to win at this farm.

:15:19. > :15:21.For ten years, workers from Bulgaria and Rumania have picked here under

:15:22. > :15:27.the seasonal agricultural workers scheme. But all that is about to

:15:28. > :15:29.change. Under the scheme, people from Bulgaria and Rumania are

:15:30. > :15:34.allowed to work in agriculture in the UK for up to six months. The

:15:35. > :15:38.account for one third of Britain's seasonal workforce on farms and fill

:15:39. > :15:43.more than 1000 jobs in this region alone last year. This is being

:15:44. > :15:48.scrapped in January when both countries become full members of the

:15:49. > :15:54.new. The concern is that those currently working on the land will

:15:55. > :15:58.leave for jobs elsewhere and without a source this is hard to replace.

:15:59. > :16:03.This is a short`sighted move, this was something that worked well for

:16:04. > :16:06.us. In 23 years time we will go back to where we years ago when we were

:16:07. > :16:10.screaming that he could not get enough labour to do the article to

:16:11. > :16:17.the dogs. We all think we will be back to that again. `` horticultural

:16:18. > :16:20.type jobs. These men have been working on farms here for years and

:16:21. > :16:27.believe there will still be plenty of people who want the work. I have

:16:28. > :16:33.found in my country and when I talk the hour looking for a job on the

:16:34. > :16:37.field. They are looking for farms. The Home Office see there is little

:16:38. > :16:40.evidence that the supply of seasonal labour will decline in the next one

:16:41. > :16:45.or two years and we want to encourage employers to recruit from

:16:46. > :16:49.the UK. Farming bodies claim this is a short`sighted move which has the

:16:50. > :16:54.potential to seriously damage the fresh fruit and vegetable sector in

:16:55. > :16:58.this country. Plymouth diver Tom Daley has been

:16:59. > :17:01.praised as a role model for other young people over his decision to

:17:02. > :17:04.announce he is in a relationship with another man. The Gay Rights

:17:05. > :17:07.group Stonewall described the YouTube video, in which he made the

:17:08. > :17:09.announcement, as moving and inspiring. We'll be talking to

:17:10. > :17:13.Stonewall in a moment, but first Spotlight's Jenny Walrond reports on

:17:14. > :17:21.some of the other reaction to Tom's comments.

:17:22. > :17:27.This morning's announcement came in a video posted on his YouTube

:17:28. > :17:36.channel. I met someone and they make me feel so happy, so see and

:17:37. > :17:46.everything just feels great. And that someone... As a guide. The news

:17:47. > :17:49.quickly spread through social media with widespread messages of support

:17:50. > :17:54.from other people in sport. Former England footballer Gary Lineker

:17:55. > :17:58.tweeted, delighted that can't really is happy in his new relationship.

:17:59. > :18:04.Well done for sharing. Edward Lord, chairman of the amateur swimming

:18:05. > :18:08.Association said, to be one of the first British Olympic athletes to

:18:09. > :18:12.come out and very brave. In his announcement, Tom question is

:18:13. > :18:16.whether it is a big deal that he is in a relationship with a man. To

:18:17. > :18:21.many it would be, but it is still rare for sports men and women to be

:18:22. > :18:27.openly gay. Tom's coach said it will not affect his performance. Has made

:18:28. > :18:32.the statement and Tom being Tom, makes the situation normal life gets

:18:33. > :18:35.on with the job. He is diving very well. Something the announcement

:18:36. > :18:42.will have a dramatic positive impact on other gay and bisexual people. It

:18:43. > :18:49.is incredibly brave, to speak so personally about himself, a time in

:18:50. > :18:51.the world where people have lots of differences of opinions and will

:18:52. > :18:57.have a difference of opinion about it. I think it is massive and I

:18:58. > :19:02.think it is a good job in brief for him to be so open and honest. This

:19:03. > :19:05.afternoon, Tom thanked his fans for their support saying he is

:19:06. > :19:08.overwhelmed and that it means the world to him.

:19:09. > :19:11.Earlier I spoke to James Taylor, from the lesbian, gay and bisexual

:19:12. > :19:19.charity, Stonewall. I began by asking him for his reaction to Tom

:19:20. > :19:25.Daley's statement. We at Stonewall think it is hugely

:19:26. > :19:31.positive, it is hugely inspiring and a moving slowly to hear Tom, out in

:19:32. > :19:36.his own terms, his own time and his own way. You say it is moving and

:19:37. > :19:40.positive but don't you think it is sad in 2013 that's like these and

:19:41. > :19:44.sports stars still have to come out and it makes the news? I think it

:19:45. > :19:50.demonstrates how much they're still is to do to really change the hearts

:19:51. > :19:55.and minds in society around attitudes towards lesbian, gay and

:19:56. > :20:00.bisexual people. What can be done to change attitudes? There is a lot we

:20:01. > :20:06.can do, today we have seen a hugely inspirational role model, I think

:20:07. > :20:08.demonstrating to many of the hundreds of thousands of young

:20:09. > :20:13.lesbian gay and bisexual people across the world that it is OK to be

:20:14. > :20:16.yourself and it is OK to talk about it and it can feel good to talk

:20:17. > :20:21.about it. Will this help other people in a similar situation? We at

:20:22. > :20:25.Stonewall certainly hope so. Their research shows unfortunately that

:20:26. > :20:28.more than half of young lesbian gay and bisexual people still experience

:20:29. > :20:32.homophobic wing in Britain's schools, it has a huge impact on

:20:33. > :20:38.their well`being and arts stops them from coming out and also the not

:20:39. > :20:43.able to talk to anyone about it. I hope today's message and also the

:20:44. > :20:46.support of many thousands of people across social media and in the news

:20:47. > :20:51.will demonstrate that it is OK to be yourself. I was going to say exactly

:20:52. > :20:57.that, he has had a lot of support. Should he prepared himself for

:20:58. > :21:03.negativity? , he has, which is why I think his video was courageous. He

:21:04. > :21:07.is a sports person with the best years of his sport ahead of him and

:21:08. > :21:20.he should be applauded for coming out and talking about it. Thank you.

:21:21. > :21:23.Time for the sport. Beavers here. Despite scoring two tries to none,

:21:24. > :21:26.Exeter Chiefs still couldn't beat Bath at the tenth attempt, going

:21:27. > :21:29.down 21`16 in rugby's Premiership. Although lock Damian Welch, in the

:21:30. > :21:32.first half and Australian Dean Mumm, in the second, scored Exeter's

:21:33. > :21:36.tries, it was the kicking of George Ford which turned it Bath's way. His

:21:37. > :21:47.six penalties and a drop goal maintained Bath's hex on the Chiefs.

:21:48. > :21:51.Yeovil Town produced a stunning 3`0 win at Watford to move off the

:21:52. > :21:54.bottom of football's Championship. Byron Webster and loan debutant

:21:55. > :21:58.Ishmael Miller put the Glovers on their way at Vicarage Road, before

:21:59. > :22:01.Joe Edwards put the gloss on a terrific display to set them up for

:22:02. > :22:07.Blackpool at Huish Park tomorrow night. None of the Devon sides won

:22:08. > :22:11.in League Two. Plymouth Argyle's eight match unbeaten run was ended

:22:12. > :22:16.by an early Burton Albion goal at Home Park. Exeter City twice had to

:22:17. > :22:20.peg back Bury at St James Park in a two`all draw. Dave Wheeler's first

:22:21. > :22:23.goal for City and Tom Nicholls rescued a point, while the pressure

:22:24. > :22:26.is building on Torquay United manager Alan Knill after a three`one

:22:27. > :22:29.reverse at Scunthorpe which sent them down to the bottom of the

:22:30. > :22:44.Football League. They've now won only once in their last twelve

:22:45. > :22:46.outings in the league and cup. Plymouth College's Olympic and World

:22:47. > :22:49.champion swimmer Ruta Meilutyte has increased her years tally of gold

:22:50. > :22:52.medals to ten. The 16`year`old Lithuanian is competing for England

:22:53. > :22:56.in the World Schools' Championship in Brazil. She's won gold in the 50

:22:57. > :23:02.metre breaststroke with two events to go this week.

:23:03. > :23:04.Finally, it's time to meet the second of the finalists you've

:23:05. > :23:08.nominated as the unsung sporting hero in the South West. Those people

:23:09. > :23:10.who make sure sports clubs and organisations run smoothly. Today,

:23:11. > :23:14.it's two people. Rob Phillips and Chris Hewitt both coach the youth

:23:15. > :23:23.teams at the Por`treath Surf Life Saving Club. Spotlight's John Ayres

:23:24. > :23:27.has been to meet them. It is a sport that is closely

:23:28. > :23:32.related to surfing and is placed in a magnificent setting. During

:23:33. > :23:39.winter, the life`savers train in the river and pool. Many of these people

:23:40. > :23:41.are lifeguards. The sport helps them hone their life`saving skills. You

:23:42. > :23:47.will make the sport does drive the standard much higher, higher than

:23:48. > :23:54.just meeting the spectators that are required. With the competition it

:23:55. > :23:58.had a lot of skills and techniques. The club is among the best, the only

:23:59. > :24:02.British club to win the European Championships at senior level, and

:24:03. > :24:06.ten times national winners. As well as being involved with that, Rob and

:24:07. > :24:11.Chris spent hours coaching youth teams in all conditions. It is not

:24:12. > :24:14.necessarily the warmest, they will be out on January and February

:24:15. > :24:20.Sunday skis, putting themselves out there. That is something I admire

:24:21. > :24:30.them for because I know I would not necessarily what to do that. The Mac

:24:31. > :24:34.just cats that as it enters the water. I honestly believe that this

:24:35. > :24:42.is so challenging to them and the way forward for them. Hundreds of

:24:43. > :24:46.people pass through the Kings, the youth team on the national title and

:24:47. > :24:50.on top of that they use these skills to save lives locally.

:24:51. > :25:00.Let's look at the weather. Not much change, it will get cold

:25:01. > :25:04.briefly but despite what you might have read in the newspapers at, last

:25:05. > :25:09.until June. Just the end of the week. It will get less cold into the

:25:10. > :25:13.weekend. A bit of a change this weekend, it has been clinically past

:25:14. > :25:16.couple of days with cloud that has been stubborn in places but for

:25:17. > :25:20.tomorrow before you make some brightness. The main change will

:25:21. > :25:25.come as Justin has pointed out later in the week and somewhat colder. We

:25:26. > :25:28.will see some fostering and also it will become quite windy, especially

:25:29. > :25:32.on Thursday. Once we moved to the end of the week in Italy became the

:25:33. > :25:35.high pressure comes back in the temperatures start to rise. What of

:25:36. > :25:40.cloud on the satellite picture as you can see, there is an area of

:25:41. > :25:42.high pressure coming most of the country but trapped within a

:25:43. > :25:46.business layer of cloud that has been very stubborn today, a few

:25:47. > :25:51.spots of drizzle yesterday. The cloud will not move very far over

:25:52. > :25:53.the next 24 hours and by the time we get the middle of the data model

:25:54. > :25:59.dehydration is still there along the cloud. This weather front will bring

:26:00. > :26:02.a change, into Wednesday. That it is clear air and brighter conditions

:26:03. > :26:07.and the possibility on Wednesday of some frost. Then a new area of low

:26:08. > :26:09.pressure moves across northern Scotland and equal the United

:26:10. > :26:13.Kingdom on Thursday will become windy. That satellite picture sums

:26:14. > :26:17.up the cloud structure we have seen today, there has hardly been any

:26:18. > :26:21.breaks in the cloud and nothing will change overnight. The exception

:26:22. > :26:27.perhaps of parts of East Devon, up into Somerset and Dorset. Here there

:26:28. > :26:31.is a possibility of some clear sky and mist and fog forming. That is

:26:32. > :26:35.uncertain but if they do form they will be stubborn to move out of the

:26:36. > :26:40.way. We will see will temperatures in the same area of around two or

:26:41. > :26:43.three degrees. Tomorrow the cloud is stubborn, the method if it hangs

:26:44. > :26:48.around will be slow to clear and that is all part of Somerset could

:26:49. > :26:50.be cold to model with light wind and temperatures getting up to around

:26:51. > :26:56.four or five degrees. We will still keep a lot of cloud with some

:26:57. > :26:59.spirits of drizzle now and then. That is the story be hell for the

:27:00. > :27:11.Isles of Scilly. Light wind, rather cloudy and dull. Times of high

:27:12. > :27:13.water, 4:55am in 17:20pm. Not much for our surfers, it has been

:27:14. > :27:18.disappointing with similar weather but to model gives a very low with

:27:19. > :27:24.hate and the poster waters forecast the winds are quiet. It will be

:27:25. > :27:30.quite fair and the risk of drivel. He got in the temperatures on

:27:31. > :27:34.Thursday, when the showers for the tops of the mirrors and then warming

:27:35. > :27:40.up by Friday. Thank you very much. That's all from

:27:41. > :27:56.us. Goodbye. We are back same time same place tomorrow.

:27:57. > :28:01.The average person moves home eight times during their life.
