:00:10. > :00:14.Good evening. The Mayor of Dxmouth and his partner have become one of

:00:15. > :00:17.the first gay couples in thd South West to get married following a

:00:18. > :00:21.change in the law. The cerelony took place at Exmouth Town Hall, where a

:00:22. > :00:22.rainbow flag was hoisted in honour of the occasion. Our reportdr Chloe

:00:23. > :00:31.Axford was there. For Exmouth Mayor John Humphreys and

:00:32. > :00:38.his long`term partner David Marsden, this was both a personal and a

:00:39. > :00:41.political occasion. Good morning. Just after 12:30pm today, they

:00:42. > :00:45.emerged from their wedding ceremony at Exmouth Town Hall a marrhed

:00:46. > :00:52.couple at last. Absolutely wonderful. It feels terrific. We've

:00:53. > :00:55.been together for 20 years `nd it's wonderful that now we have become

:00:56. > :00:58.one within law. Hundreds of family and friends have travelled from

:00:59. > :01:06.across the world to see Davhd and John tie the knot. They are one of

:01:07. > :01:09.the very first gay and lesbhan couples in England to get m`rried

:01:10. > :01:13.after the law changed at midnight. It just seals it and we can be

:01:14. > :01:17.honest with our friends and society that we are now legally married and

:01:18. > :01:21.that is a wonderful feeling. It feels like there has been a change

:01:22. > :01:25.in law, but there is a change in society as well. Not everyone is

:01:26. > :01:28.celebrating the change in the law. A BBC poll out earlier this wdek found

:01:29. > :01:34.that one in five people would not attend a gay wedding if thex were

:01:35. > :01:37.invited to one. Gay couples are still not allowed to get married in

:01:38. > :01:40.a church, and gay members of the Anglican clergy are still not

:01:41. > :01:44.allowed to get married, but the Church of England has said ht will

:01:45. > :01:47.stand by the new law. But for John and David, politics aside, this was

:01:48. > :01:56.a moment to treasure and enjoy, just like any other newlyweds.

:01:57. > :02:01.Farmers in the South West h`ve hit out at a Government campaign which

:02:02. > :02:04.is urging people to cut down on the amount of full`fat cheese and milk

:02:05. > :02:06.in their diet. The Change4Lhfe initiative recommends consulers

:02:07. > :02:11.switch to products which have less saturated fat. But farmers claim

:02:12. > :02:16.this could damage an industry that has already been badly affected by

:02:17. > :02:19.flooding. Farmers don't need any more burdens

:02:20. > :02:22.to carry after the flooding and everything else. We would lhke a

:02:23. > :02:24.government who is really getting behind us and saying accurate

:02:25. > :02:32.information rather than this old news.

:02:33. > :02:38.And there's more on that story on the Sunday Politics on BBC One

:02:39. > :02:41.tomorrow morning at 11:15am. It is the end of an era for air

:02:42. > :02:45.travel in Guernsey and Jersdy today, as Flybe's Gatwick flights dnd. The

:02:46. > :02:49.airline is closing its base in the island with the loss of mord than 30

:02:50. > :02:53.jobs. Flybe has sold all its Gatwick slots, blaming rising chargds at the

:02:54. > :03:00.London airport. EasyJet will offer three flights a day when it takes

:03:01. > :03:03.over on the route tomorrow. Onto sport, and in rugby, Championship

:03:04. > :03:06.honours in today's local derby went to Cornwall, as the Cornish Pirates

:03:07. > :03:12.beat Plymouth Albion 26`20 `t the Brickfields. Albion went into the

:03:13. > :03:16.match having lost four of their last six games and with a dismal record

:03:17. > :03:23.against their visitors. Despite making eight changes, Piratds ran in

:03:24. > :03:32.three tries to Albion's two. It was a great crowd and we really enjoyed

:03:33. > :03:37.playing in front of it. I fdel like it had a bit of a derby gamd to it.

:03:38. > :03:40.It was coming and going, coling and going, but thankfully we got the

:03:41. > :03:43.result in the end. Elsewherd in the Premiership, Exeter Chiefs lost

:03:44. > :03:46.14`13 at home to Gloucester, and in the Championship, Jersey lost 3 `8

:03:47. > :03:48.at home to eighth`placed Moseley. In today's football, in the

:03:49. > :03:51.Championship Yeovil dropped to the bottom of the table after losing 4`1

:03:52. > :03:55.at home to fellow strugglers Barnsley. In League Two, Exdter City

:03:56. > :03:57.lost 1`0 at home to Accrington Stanley and bottom`placed Torquay

:03:58. > :04:11.lost 1`0 at eighth`placed Southend United. Onto the weather ` here s

:04:12. > :04:18.Holly. Good evening. We saw some lovely

:04:19. > :04:21.bright skies through the dax today, and we've got more of the s`me for

:04:22. > :04:25.tomorrow, but between now and then, we have more cloud feeding hn, and

:04:26. > :04:36.that cloud could bring a bit of patchy rain to parts of Somdrset. It

:04:37. > :04:48.should be fairly light. Temperatures are pushing into his

:04:49. > :04:53.teens. Next week, some warm and bright weather, but also thd risk of

:04:54. > :04:58.heavy summary showers, and don't forget, tonight heralds the start of

:04:59. > :05:02.British summer Time as our clocks spring forward by an hour. Have a

:05:03. > :05:13.great evening. Goodbye. And it will be

:05:14. > :05:20.Good evening. We achieved 20 degrees in the sunshine today but, in

:05:21. > :05:25.contrast, under the cloud in Northern Ireland, just nine. With

:05:26. > :05:33.the cloud, just seven in the North East. We take the contrast into

:05:34. > :05:36.tomorrow. At least the cloud here, creeping back inland, will prevent

:05:37. > :05:44.textures falling too low, down to six overnight. -- temperatures. Less

:05:45. > :05:45.fog in the south
