:00:00. > :00:10.the BBC News channel. We are back with

:00:11. > :00:14.Good evening. Exeter city centre was brought to a standstill today as

:00:15. > :00:17.thousands took part in a victory parade for the Exeter Chiefs. The

:00:18. > :00:20.players celebrated the biggest win in their history as they made their

:00:21. > :00:22.way though the High Street on two open top buses, as Leigh Rundle was

:00:23. > :00:30.there. Fans lined the streets, even the sun

:00:31. > :00:34.came out, for today's parade. And held high the LV Cup which

:00:35. > :00:38.represents the Chiefs' victory. We're a club and we speak about it

:00:39. > :00:42.often that we want to keep going and we want to get better as a club, so

:00:43. > :00:46.hopefully this is just the start of more to come and there's more to

:00:47. > :00:49.get. It was reminiscent of scenes in 2010 after their promotion to the

:00:50. > :00:52.Premiership. Apart from the victorious game itself, this is the

:00:53. > :00:57.most legendary moment in Exeter Chiefs' 143`year`long history. A

:00:58. > :01:03.chance for the fans to show their support and the players to soak it

:01:04. > :01:07.up. Been supporting for the Chiefs for 15, 16 years now. It's amazing.

:01:08. > :01:11.Very excited about the future as well. Fantastic. They really are

:01:12. > :01:15.brilliant. They've come from when I moved into Exeter being fairly

:01:16. > :01:21.unknown to being one of the biggest names we've got. I was amazed at how

:01:22. > :01:24.many people are here. A brilliant turnout for the guys, so, yeah, I'm

:01:25. > :01:28.really, really pleased for them all. They really deserve it. For retiring

:01:29. > :01:31.scorer Chris Whitehead, an emotional day. These occasions don't happen

:01:32. > :01:35.very often and they don't last for ever, so it's very much about making

:01:36. > :01:38.the most of this today and that's the nature of the beast. For the

:01:39. > :01:44.fans, the distance between them and top`class rugby has just grown

:01:45. > :01:47.smaller. More than 20 young people have been

:01:48. > :01:51.holding what they call an overnight protest occupation over cuts to

:01:52. > :01:55.youth services in Devon. The sleep`in was held at a youth centre

:01:56. > :02:00.in Okehampton, and from there Scott Bingham reports.

:02:01. > :02:04.The teenagers came up with the idea of the sleep`in themselves. By all

:02:05. > :02:07.accounts, they didn't actually get much sleep, but they're urging Devon

:02:08. > :02:12.County Council to wake up to just how important youth centres are to

:02:13. > :02:16.those who need them. I've dealt with my anger issues a lot. I can now

:02:17. > :02:25.control it, I don't lash out with people. It's helped me a lot. I

:02:26. > :02:31.didn't have anywhere to go when I'm around town. I find I'm getting

:02:32. > :02:34.bored and then stuff happens. It gives you extra support and

:02:35. > :02:38.everything if you feel you can't do something on your own, so for me,

:02:39. > :02:44.that's really important, to have someone else to help me. The

:02:45. > :02:48.authority is proposing to cut its ?3.7 million youth services budget

:02:49. > :02:52.by almost half over the next two years. This is one of a number of

:02:53. > :02:56.centres which could close. The County Council says it is still in

:02:57. > :03:04.consultation to April the 27th and no decisions have yet been made. It

:03:05. > :03:06.said in a statement, we are continuing to invite people to come

:03:07. > :03:11.forward with fresh ideas for services they could provide,

:03:12. > :03:14.possibly using our premises for which some limited support from the

:03:15. > :03:16.County Council may be a valid `` available.

:03:17. > :03:19.The Exmoor horse trainer Philip Hobbs says he's enormously proud of

:03:20. > :03:23.his horse Baltazar King, which just missed out winning today's Grand

:03:24. > :03:26.National. Ridden by Richard Johnson, he came in second behind the winner

:03:27. > :03:31.Pino de Rey. Hobbs' other entry, Chance du Roy, took sixth place.

:03:32. > :03:36.Onto football, and in the Championship today, Yeovil grabbed a

:03:37. > :03:39.2`1 win away at Blackpool. In League Two, Plymouth Argyle lost 1`0 at

:03:40. > :03:46.Burton Albion, and it was also bad news for Exeter City, who went down

:03:47. > :03:51.2`0 at Bury. Torquay lost 1`0 at Plainmoor to Scunthorpe United.

:03:52. > :03:55.Moving onto rugby, and Plymouth Albion are out of the British and

:03:56. > :03:58.Irish Cup. They lost by 41 points to 21 at Leeds in their quarterfinal

:03:59. > :04:03.tie last night. The Cornish Pirates face Pontypridd at the Mennaye Field

:04:04. > :04:12.tomorrow. Time now for a look at the weather.

:04:13. > :04:18.Good evening. It's staying grey and damp through the weekend with mostly

:04:19. > :04:22.light showers coming through and moving along with low cloud and

:04:23. > :04:27.coastal and hill fog. Late in the night, a band of heavy rain arrives

:04:28. > :04:30.but a mild night with temperatures staying into double figures for most

:04:31. > :04:34.of us. We will also see the breeze picking up so another wet start to

:04:35. > :04:37.tomorrow with some of that fog around, but the rain should clear

:04:38. > :04:40.through late in the afternoon, becoming drier for a time and

:04:41. > :04:46.temperature is similar to what are seeing today, reaching 13 or 14. As

:04:47. > :04:49.we look further ahead to Monday, another fairly grey day with rain

:04:50. > :04:52.around for much of the day, but it should clear into the afternoon and

:04:53. > :04:56.then into the middle part of the week, we see high pressure turning

:04:57. > :05:02.things drier and brighter for time but colder overnight.

:05:03. > :05:11.That's all from us here. Whatever you're doing, your evening.

:05:12. > :05:18.Good evening. We may have got to 18 Celsius today in parts of East

:05:19. > :05:21.Anglia but it was the bright spot in an otherwise cloudy day and it is

:05:22. > :05:24.the cloud that will dominate tonight, bringing splashes of rain

:05:25. > :05:27.and dryer moments as well particularly in the north-east of

:05:28. > :05:30.Scotland but heavy bursts can't be ruled out in the West, where it will

:05:31. > :05:31.be misty and murky and
