:00:00. > :00:00.In the south-west tonight - the speeding on Dartmoor,

:00:07. > :00:09.which has been described as horrific.

:00:10. > :00:14.They go down here hell for leather and it is a complete cross-section

:00:15. > :00:17.of people, lots of old sports cars of people, lots of old sports cars

:00:18. > :00:19.and motorbikes anything but they do drive incredibly fast.

:00:20. > :00:21.Some drivers have been clocked at more than twice the limit.

:00:22. > :00:24.Also tonight - the grass is greener together.

:00:25. > :00:27.The thinking behind the electoral pact to try to defeat

:00:28. > :00:33.We'll take a look at the region's most marginal seats.

:00:34. > :00:35.A court hear claims this woman's body was dumped

:00:36. > :00:44.in a suitcase near rail tracks - her ex partner denies murder.

:00:45. > :00:49.And made for movies - the Valley of Rocks film set

:00:50. > :01:10.bringing a boost to business in North Devon.

:01:11. > :01:14.Speeds driven by some motorists on Dartmoor have been described

:01:15. > :01:19.as horrific, with some stretches of road becoming racetracks.

:01:20. > :01:22.An electronic warning sign, which also records speeds,

:01:23. > :01:24.reveals that a quarter of motorists were exceeding

:01:25. > :01:31.It showed drivers travelling at 80, 90 and 100mph.

:01:32. > :01:36.The highest speed clocked was 117mph.

:01:37. > :01:44.The Dartmoor National Park says the findings are frightening warning

:01:45. > :01:48.The Dartmoor National Park says the findings are frightening,

:01:49. > :01:49.warning that livestock are often roaming

:01:50. > :01:52.In a moment, we'll hear from the Dartmoor Livestock

:01:53. > :01:54.First, this report from Kirk England.

:01:55. > :01:59.Somewhere to enjoy a slower pace of life, but not everyone visiting

:02:00. > :02:09.Dartmoor is taking things quite so easily.

:02:10. > :02:12.The sort of driving we see down here, particularly down

:02:13. > :02:14.the straight past the pub, is like a racetrack.

:02:15. > :02:18.And it's a complete cross-section of people.

:02:19. > :02:20.Lots of old sports cars, motorbikes, everything.

:02:21. > :02:23.But they do drive down there incredibly fast.

:02:24. > :02:28.This new speed warning sign measures how fast people are driving.

:02:29. > :02:32.The highest we've had so far, in the last six weeks, is 117mph.

:02:33. > :02:35.To think that people are driving at those sorts of speeds

:02:36. > :02:37.across Dartmoor on unfinished roads, where we've got ponies,

:02:38. > :02:41.sheep and cattle wandering across the road, is quite horrific.

:02:42. > :02:45.The data shows that a quarter of drivers

:02:46. > :02:47.around Dartmoor are breaking the 40 mph speed limit.

:02:48. > :02:50.These visitors couldn't believe some of the high speeds

:02:51. > :02:56.Well, I think it's really irresponsible and why

:02:57. > :02:58.would you want to drive at that speed when you're in

:02:59. > :03:05.Surely the whole reason for being here is to see the view?

:03:06. > :03:10.Why would you want to go at those speeds?

:03:11. > :03:14.It's not known whether the person recorded driving at 117mph

:03:15. > :03:27.The National Park says police patrols are being stepped up.

:03:28. > :03:32.Well, this is one of the roads on Dartmoor where people have been

:03:33. > :03:37.clocked going at speeds which would be against the law even on a

:03:38. > :03:39.motorway. It's a particularly long, straight section of road between

:03:40. > :03:46.post-bridge and Morten Hampstead. The speed sign is up there and will

:03:47. > :03:51.flashes when people are going too fast, one of several put in place by

:03:52. > :03:56.Dartmoor Livestock Preservation Society and parlour is from the

:03:57. > :04:00.organisation. 170 mph, what do you think about that? It is madness, I

:04:01. > :04:03.am shocked people are driving at these speeds when animals are

:04:04. > :04:08.grazing at the side of the road. We have seen on the drive over, lambs

:04:09. > :04:11.right across the roadway. Absolutely, I came up the hill and

:04:12. > :04:15.lambs were skipping on the road and unless motorists slow down, they

:04:16. > :04:18.will be knocked over. What are the implications for livestock with

:04:19. > :04:26.people driving at these speeds? Bashir, we had a animals killed, we

:04:27. > :04:32.are up to 25 last year. They will be obliterated, won't they? Unless you

:04:33. > :04:35.are witness to an RTA involving livestock you don't understand the

:04:36. > :04:38.injuries they suffered. I am often called out in the night and deal

:04:39. > :04:43.with an injured animal or have to put an animal down. Do you think the

:04:44. > :04:47.message on speed is getting across the people on Dartmoor? I think we

:04:48. > :04:51.need to keep on with the public education, awareness, publicity but

:04:52. > :04:57.overall, it is really simple. When entering Dartmoor, please slow down.

:04:58. > :05:02.Thank you. These signs only hold data on speed, not on registrations

:05:03. > :05:05.or driver, so people will not be prosecuted but we are told the

:05:06. > :05:06.police are increasing patrols here on Dartmoor.

:05:07. > :05:09.The body of a missing Bulgarian woman was found dumped in a suitcase

:05:10. > :05:12.near the railway line in Exeter, a jury has heard.

:05:13. > :05:15.Gergana Prodanova had only been in the UK for eight months,

:05:16. > :05:18.when she was allegedly murdered by her violent former partner

:05:19. > :05:25.Scott Bingham reports from Exeter Crown Court.

:05:26. > :05:27.Gergana Prodanova was reported missing by colleagues

:05:28. > :05:32.at the Great Western Hotel in Exeter on the 8th of August last year.

:05:33. > :05:37.Police conducted searches and door-to-door enquiries

:05:38. > :05:40.in the Mount Pleasant Road area of the city, where the couple

:05:41. > :05:44.The body was discovered in a suitcase dumped

:05:45. > :05:52.The jury were told that Gergana was killed by her former partner

:05:53. > :05:54.and the father of their three children, 43-year-old

:05:55. > :05:56.Kostadin Kostov, who had followed her to the UK

:05:57. > :06:04.Prosecuting, Simon Laws QC said the defendant's motive

:06:05. > :06:09.It was, he said, old-fashioned jealousy.

:06:10. > :06:13.The court heard Gergana was in a new relationship,

:06:14. > :06:16.but still shared a flat with Kostadin Kostov.

:06:17. > :06:21.The jury was shown images from CCTV footage of Gergana making her way

:06:22. > :06:25.back to the flat at 8:16pm on the 4th of August,

:06:26. > :06:33.And of Kostadin Kostov heading back to the flat two hours earlier.

:06:34. > :06:39.After she went to that flat, the flat with just him in it,

:06:40. > :06:43.said Mr Laws, Gergana Prodanova was never seen alive again.

:06:44. > :06:47.Kostadin Kostov claimed Gergana had flown back to Bulgaria

:06:48. > :06:51.after receiving a phone call saying her mother had died.

:06:52. > :06:54.Gergana had no reason to disappear, said Mr Laws.

:06:55. > :06:57.She disappeared because she had been murdered.

:06:58. > :07:06.Kostadin Kostov denies murder, the case continues.

:07:07. > :07:11.A man has been arrested on suspicion of arson

:07:12. > :07:16.It follows a fire at a house in Boslowick Road in

:07:17. > :07:23.Police in Somerset are warning that drug dealers from big cities

:07:24. > :07:25.are targeting vulnerable people in rural areas to set up

:07:26. > :07:30.The force says it dealt with around 20 cases in and around

:07:31. > :07:35.Weston-super-Mare and Yeovil last year alone.

:07:36. > :07:37.Police in Dorset are appealing for information after a Roman

:07:38. > :07:40.sarcophagus was vandalised in Poundbury.

:07:41. > :07:43.The artefact was damaged sometime between 11 o'clock on Saturday

:07:44. > :07:45.night and the early hours of Sunday morning.

:07:46. > :07:52.The lid has been removed and is damaged beyond repair.

:07:53. > :07:54.The Green Party is proposing electoral pacts with other parties

:07:55. > :07:59.in order to defeat south-west Conservative MPs in

:08:00. > :08:04.The Greens have offered not to put forward a candidate in the region's

:08:05. > :08:07.most marginal seat - Plymouth Sutton and Devonport -

:08:08. > :08:09.to help the Labour challenger to Conservative incumbent Oliver

:08:10. > :08:14.It's offering the same arrangement to Anne-Marie Morris'

:08:15. > :08:18.Liberal Democrat challenger in Newton Abbot.

:08:19. > :08:20.And there's speculation the move could be offered in St Ives -

:08:21. > :08:25.another Conservative/Lib Dem contest.

:08:26. > :08:29.Here's our Political Editor Martyn Oates.

:08:30. > :08:32.And I hereby declare that Oliver Colvile is duly elected

:08:33. > :08:36.to serve as the member of Parliament for the said constituency.

:08:37. > :08:42.The 2015 general election result in Plymouth Sutton and Devonport

:08:43. > :08:44.handed defending Conservative MP Oliver Colvile a second victory,

:08:45. > :08:50.but by just 523 votes, with Labour snapping at his heels.

:08:51. > :08:53.This time, the Green Party is offering not to contest the seat,

:08:54. > :08:56.hoping that will make it easier for Labour to unseat Mr Colvile.

:08:57. > :09:01.I think the whole of the Green party is looking at it and in Cornwall,

:09:02. > :09:05.as well as across the rest of the south-west, there

:09:06. > :09:08.is an interest in how we can work together to make sure

:09:09. > :09:12.that the Conservatives are not the dominant party

:09:13. > :09:20.A similar deal is being offered to the Liberal Democrat candidate

:09:21. > :09:23.opposing Tory Anne-Marie Morris in Newton Abbott.

:09:24. > :09:24.opposing Tory Anne-Marie Morris in Newton Abbot.

:09:25. > :09:27.The ideal seat for such an arrangement could be St Ives.

:09:28. > :09:30.The Liberal Democrat Andrew George would have held the seat last time

:09:31. > :09:32.if he'd received all the Green votes as well.

:09:33. > :09:36.Unsurprisingly, perhaps, he's keen on the idea this time.

:09:37. > :09:43.I think that people understand that you have the vote intelligently,

:09:44. > :09:47.you have to kind of compromise and have to consider how you can

:09:48. > :09:50.use your vote most effectively and across much of Cornwall,

:09:51. > :09:53.and indeed across the south-west as well, the Liberal Democrats

:09:54. > :09:58.are in a very strong second position to incumbent Conservatives.

:09:59. > :10:01.But help could also be at hand for the Tories -

:10:02. > :10:04.in Cornwall, at least, where it looks as if Ukip

:10:05. > :10:09.might not oppose three Brexit-backing Conservative MPs.

:10:10. > :10:12.If we were to stand in Camborne, Redruth Hale, like where I stood,

:10:13. > :10:17.and took 6,000 votes, I would not like to think

:10:18. > :10:29.that we would let a federalist in instead of George Eustice.

:10:30. > :10:32.One thing the Greens and Ukip have in common is campaigning for a more

:10:33. > :10:35.With no obvious prospect of that being delivered,

:10:36. > :10:37.it looks as if they are finding creative ways to deal

:10:38. > :10:41.with the system they feel they are lumbered with at the moment.

:10:42. > :10:46.And Martyn Oates is with me now. We are very early in the election

:10:47. > :10:50.campaign and this is already an interesting development. Yes, there

:10:51. > :10:54.has been talk of this so-called progressive Alliance, some of all

:10:55. > :10:58.elements, the Greens, Labour Party and Lib Dems deciding they have much

:10:59. > :11:02.more in common than they do with the Tories and having some sort of

:11:03. > :11:05.combination to oust Tories. We saw this in action in the recent

:11:06. > :11:09.Richmond Park by-election in London, where the Greens didn't stand a

:11:10. > :11:15.candidate and the Lib Dems went on to win. I talked to the green leader

:11:16. > :11:18.Caroline Lucas, she said that this will apply to a handful of seats but

:11:19. > :11:23.listening to Doctor Greene, the South Devon party chairman there, he

:11:24. > :11:27.is implying we could hear more announcements locally and I think

:11:28. > :11:31.the striking thing, as you say, we are only a couple of days into the

:11:32. > :11:35.campaign. Just a quick off the mark they are in targeting the specific

:11:36. > :11:39.seats and getting on with it. What you think the likelihood is that

:11:40. > :11:43.deals will be struck? Clearly what the Green Party would like is an

:11:44. > :11:48.equivalent exchange, so for instance, in Devon, that would be

:11:49. > :11:53.Labour not standing a candidate in Totnes, a constituency where the

:11:54. > :11:56.Greens have quite a groundswell of support. Now, it seems clear,

:11:57. > :12:00.though, that up to a point that doesn't matter. In other words, the

:12:01. > :12:04.candidates, I think, anyway, whether candidates, I think, anyway, whether

:12:05. > :12:08.or not they get something back from the other parties. Labour have said

:12:09. > :12:13.they are not interested in something formal, Joe Micawber in saying

:12:14. > :12:16.Jeremy Corbyn saying that but Jeremy Corbyn saying that but

:12:17. > :12:17.although income, they have said there are informal talks. The

:12:18. > :12:25.pivotal says the are not standing -- pivotal says the are not standing --

:12:26. > :12:27.in topless, they say it And Martyn will be here with more

:12:28. > :12:30.reaction and analysis on this and all the election news so far

:12:31. > :12:33.on the Sunday Politics this weekend, at the later time

:12:34. > :12:35.of 3:15pm on BBC One. Still to come in

:12:36. > :12:41.tonight's programme: An education in construction -

:12:42. > :12:46.the competition providing lessons And these were the conditions

:12:47. > :12:49.on the River Dart today. How long will the dry

:12:50. > :12:51.weather continue? To walk for the very first time

:12:52. > :13:02.after being in a wheelchair for six years is a dream come true

:13:03. > :13:05.in itself, but to complete a marathon - well, it's

:13:06. > :13:06.almost unbelievable. But for Spencer Watts,

:13:07. > :13:08.a Devon motocross rider who was paralysed in an accident six

:13:09. > :13:12.years ago, that's the plan. He's hoping to complete next year's

:13:13. > :13:16.London Marathon and, as he explained to Janine Jansen,

:13:17. > :13:19.it's all thanks to a new Spencer Watts was paralysed

:13:20. > :13:25.from the waist down in a motocross When I had my accident,

:13:26. > :13:32.surgeons were telling me you will never ride again and I just

:13:33. > :13:35.wanted to prove them all wrong. His solution was to tuck his legs

:13:36. > :13:40.behind special bars It was nerve-racking at first,

:13:41. > :13:44.but the most important thing with motocross is you have

:13:45. > :13:46.to put your leg out Obviously, I'm not able to do that,

:13:47. > :13:51.so that was a real big thing to take on and not knowing how I would be

:13:52. > :13:54.able to react to that, and just rely on my upper body,

:13:55. > :13:57.it really was hard. Recently, he was demonstrating these

:13:58. > :14:00.robotic legs at a charity evening. Suddenly, the auctioneer started

:14:01. > :14:06.getting people to bid for Spencer. I was lost for words,

:14:07. > :14:11.I was all evening. Never for one minute did I think

:14:12. > :14:15.that that sort of money would be Spencer says the first time

:14:16. > :14:22.he walked was incredible. It was really strange and it felt

:14:23. > :14:26.like I was going to fall over. It is like my whole body is floating

:14:27. > :14:29.in the air because obviously It is a real strange

:14:30. > :14:33.feeling but each time, You've got a watch, and you tell

:14:34. > :14:39.the watch what you want to cause you simply tell the watch

:14:40. > :14:42.if you want to stand To be up at that height again

:14:43. > :14:51.and walking alongside my children, it's great to be able to walk

:14:52. > :14:54.to the park with them. Really strange, just a climb down

:14:55. > :14:59.stairs again is amazing. Nothing seems to stop

:15:00. > :15:03.this young man. Since his accident, he's got married

:15:04. > :15:07.and had two children and now that he can walk

:15:08. > :15:10.at three miles per hour, Well, he wants to complete next

:15:11. > :15:19.year's London Marathon. Good luck to Spencer

:15:20. > :15:21.and in Spotlight tomorrow, we'll be hearing from some

:15:22. > :15:23.of the south-west runners taking part in this year's London Marathon

:15:24. > :15:29.taking place on Sunday. Some sports news and four

:15:30. > :15:32.Exeter Chiefs players have been named in the England squad

:15:33. > :15:35.which will tour Argentina this year. It's a first call up for 20-year-old

:15:36. > :15:38.scrum half Jack Maunder Jack only made his Chiefs

:15:39. > :15:43.debut this season. They're among 15 uncapped players

:15:44. > :15:46.who've been selected. They join Henry Slade

:15:47. > :16:01.and Luke Cowan Dickie and will head Some pictures proving very popular

:16:02. > :16:06.on the spotlight Facebook page, baby giraffe has been born at Paignton

:16:07. > :16:09.zoo. The new arrival came into the world yesterday morning and staff

:16:10. > :16:12.don't know if it is a boy or a girl. The giraffe house is likely to be

:16:13. > :16:14.closed for a few days but visitors may just be able to see the baby

:16:15. > :16:16.this weekend. You can see why those pictures are

:16:17. > :16:21.proving popular. We're often hearing about the need

:16:22. > :16:24.to build more houses, but will there be enough

:16:25. > :16:25.construction workers Well, efforts are underway to find

:16:26. > :16:29.the next generation of builders and, today, some of the region's most

:16:30. > :16:32.talented trainees went head to head in a bid to reach the national

:16:33. > :16:35.finals of a competition. They were joined by hundreds

:16:36. > :16:38.of school children who also got to have a go at some of the skills

:16:39. > :16:41.needed in the building trade, Spotlight's John Danks reports from

:16:42. > :16:48.South Devon College in Paignton. Year five pupils from Roseland's

:16:49. > :16:54.primary school in Paignton get On hand to help are tradesmen

:16:55. > :17:02.Chris and Julian from At that age, they might take

:17:03. > :17:10.a liking to it and start pursuing it, so we think it is a very good

:17:11. > :17:14.idea to get them going that young, And if they are very unlucky,

:17:15. > :17:35.they might get to work When you are trying to scrape it in,

:17:36. > :17:41.it gets stuck to the side of the wall and you have to get it in the

:17:42. > :17:43.centre. You think might be interested in construction? Maybe.

:17:44. > :17:51.But the real focus is the regional heat of the Skillbuild competition.

:17:52. > :17:53.Around 100 construction trainees from colleges across the south-west

:17:54. > :17:55.are competing for a place in the national finals.

:17:56. > :18:01.Win or lose, if you can get it on the CV, it is fantastic and just

:18:02. > :18:04.taking part is quite fun as well, so it's very good.

:18:05. > :18:15.Looking at the joints, the craftsmanship, the way

:18:16. > :18:16.they work, if they are working in a safe manner, so we cover

:18:17. > :18:23.Six traits were being contested and for the trainees, the chance to

:18:24. > :18:26.build the foundations for a successful career.

:18:27. > :18:28.It's a massive kick start of their careers, so from here,

:18:29. > :18:31.they can go on to the regional final and the national final,

:18:32. > :18:34.which will be held later in the year in Birmingham.

:18:35. > :18:37.If that goes well, there will be Euro skills and then World skills,

:18:38. > :18:40.which will be in Russia and the winner of that comes back

:18:41. > :18:43.to the UK and has a fabulous future ahead of them.

:18:44. > :18:47.When it comes to plastering, it looks like these kids have it

:18:48. > :18:47.covered. The south-west has provided

:18:48. > :18:49.incredible backdrops to film over the years,

:18:50. > :18:52.and there's about to be another. This latest production coming out

:18:53. > :18:55.later this year could provide a big It's a psychological thriller called

:18:56. > :18:59.Winter Ridge and it's being shot entirely on location around

:19:00. > :19:02.Lynton and Lynmouth. Spotlight's North Devon reporter,

:19:03. > :19:07.Andrea Ormsby, has been on set. Tense and emotional,

:19:08. > :19:19.two of the main characters in a scene near the end

:19:20. > :19:21.of the movie, but the location, can't help being the star

:19:22. > :19:25.of the show. What an incredible location

:19:26. > :19:30.Valley of the Rocks is. Just has that kind of cinematic look

:19:31. > :19:33.that you get in North America, It doesn't really feel

:19:34. > :19:40.like it is a really small town, it has that grander scale to it,

:19:41. > :19:48.so as soon as we came I knew it was where it had

:19:49. > :19:51.to culminate and end. They scoured all over the UK, Wales,

:19:52. > :19:53.Norfolk, the Peak District, all rejected the minute they set

:19:54. > :19:56.eyes on Lynton and Lynemouth. And it was the perfect

:19:57. > :20:02.location for us to do a film like a psychological thriller

:20:03. > :20:05.in this area, it is quite ominous, it is quite dark, gritty at night

:20:06. > :20:08.and shiny in the day, so it has got nice

:20:09. > :20:10.contrasting landscape. Adjust your radio mic and then

:20:11. > :20:15.we will be able to shoot! The movie centres around Matt's

:20:16. > :20:17.character Ryan Barnes, He is joined by Game of Thrones

:20:18. > :20:23.star Hannah Waddingham. The thing that always strikes me

:20:24. > :20:27.about Game of Thrones is the crew are so gung-ho and have such passion

:20:28. > :20:35.for it and these guys do. From the writers on this,

:20:36. > :20:38.to the directors, if you do a low-budget film and the script

:20:39. > :20:41.is good enough, you all join and have the same passion,

:20:42. > :20:44.so it is not ready that dissimilar, and have the same passion,

:20:45. > :20:47.so it is not really that dissimilar, except we are just trying to do it

:20:48. > :20:50.on a tighter budget. Keep rolling, guys,

:20:51. > :20:51.keep quiet, everyone. Having the film set here

:20:52. > :20:54.is a real coup the locals. Having the film set here

:20:55. > :20:57.is a real coup for locals. The whole community is,

:20:58. > :21:01.because everybody's been involved. Everybody I speak to are either

:21:02. > :21:03.an extra or their property is being used in some way

:21:04. > :21:07.or their garden, or their view. And it's just created quite a buzz

:21:08. > :21:11.and a film like this, I mean, it really could mean the most

:21:12. > :21:16.wonderful bookings coming in for our bed and breakfast hotels

:21:17. > :21:21.and our restaurants. And not only are locals playing

:21:22. > :21:24.extras, one is officially listed I seem to have found myself

:21:25. > :21:30.as acting location manager. I don't know why, but I guess

:21:31. > :21:33.that'll teach me to pick up I mean, he rang me and asked

:21:34. > :21:39.if I could think of some locations that the film company had asked

:21:40. > :21:42.for and I came up with some answers and the next thing I know,

:21:43. > :21:45.I'm included in the crew. Work experience is also on offer

:21:46. > :21:49.for local youngsters. I've been on set watch, which is

:21:50. > :21:55.looking at the equipment outside. I've been helping with the actors

:21:56. > :21:59.and seeing that they are OK in between the takes and I've been

:22:00. > :22:03.helping with backgrounds Filming has just started

:22:04. > :22:11.and the crew will be here With a worldwide release later this

:22:12. > :22:32.year, everyone here is hoping Well, from beautiful scenes in North

:22:33. > :22:39.Devon to another one now. No better way, David.

:22:40. > :22:43.I will clear off, look! That nose.

:22:44. > :22:47.Sorry to spoil it. Good evening. Yes, you have been taking smashing

:22:48. > :22:50.pictures again. The last few days, some of the photographs we have been

:22:51. > :22:58.receiving have been brilliant, this is one of our weather watchers.

:22:59. > :23:01.Rather more cloud in Somerset, Kingsbury Episcopi whether cloud is

:23:02. > :23:09.pretty extensive and produced a spot of drizzle in the afternoon but no

:23:10. > :23:13.visible rain and Bluebell starting to come out in Dorset, fantastic

:23:14. > :23:18.pictures. Tomorrow is very similar, lots of cloud around at times but

:23:19. > :23:21.also some sunshine and still fine and dry. The setup hasn't changed

:23:22. > :23:25.very much, we still have high pressure in charge. Some subtle

:23:26. > :23:29.changes in the amount of cloud, there are weather friends travelling

:23:30. > :23:32.down from the north over the next two or three days. They will change

:23:33. > :23:37.think somewhat. Not tomorrow, that is very similar to today, variable

:23:38. > :23:40.cloud at times and then some sunshine and then a front comes

:23:41. > :23:44.towards us on Saturday, that will keep a lot of cloud for the rest of

:23:45. > :23:47.the day but still dry and by Sunday, that will have moved away so Sunday

:23:48. > :23:52.is also Brighton dry but this weather system coming in on Monday

:23:53. > :23:55.and into Tuesday, quite a bit change associated with that. Not only a

:23:56. > :24:00.drop in the temperatures but finally, some appreciable rain. This

:24:01. > :24:04.evening is a fine evening, the cloud patchy in nature. This was earlier

:24:05. > :24:08.today in Dartmouth, where our cameraman Jeff took the slow journey

:24:09. > :24:11.across the river. Some lovely weather here, it has been more

:24:12. > :24:16.cloudy today that the South coast but the Sun has come back out and it

:24:17. > :24:22.has been pleasantly dry and mild today, with temperatures even a bit

:24:23. > :24:25.higher than we have seen today for tomorrow, so tomorrow similar with

:24:26. > :24:27.patchy cloud around, enough clear skies overnight to allow

:24:28. > :24:32.temperatures back into single figures, so not as cold as it has

:24:33. > :24:35.been but certainly low enough, six or 7 degrees the minimum

:24:36. > :24:40.temperature. For tomorrow, another very similar day, patchy cloud

:24:41. > :24:43.coming and going, largely dry, some decent spells of sunshine and

:24:44. > :24:49.temperatures climbing up a little bit higher than they have been

:24:50. > :24:53.recently, up to 15, possibly even 16 degrees, 61 in Fahrenheit. For the

:24:54. > :24:57.Isles of Scilly, a quiet day, gentle winds and a fine and dry spells of

:24:58. > :25:08.sunshine. The times of high water... And for those surfing, it has been

:25:09. > :25:11.disappointing this week, the ways haven't been very big but they do

:25:12. > :25:16.pick up as we head for the weekend and into the early part of next

:25:17. > :25:22.week. The coastal waters forecast, variable winds, no more than a force

:25:23. > :25:25.two or three, fair with good visibility and slight seas. This is

:25:26. > :25:29.the forecast as we head through the weekend and into next week. Nothing

:25:30. > :25:33.too tricky at the moment. Monday, the winds pick up a little bit and

:25:34. > :25:37.some point through the day, some light spots of rain out of a weather

:25:38. > :25:41.front coming in from the north. What will show you tomorrow is choose a's

:25:42. > :25:43.forecast and it will be a bit of a shock because there will be some

:25:44. > :25:48.rain on the forecast. Have a good evening. We had to have

:25:49. > :25:52.some rain eventually, I suppose, didn't we? That is all from us

:25:53. > :25:58.tonight, thank you for joining us. Our late users at 10:30pm and we are

:25:59. > :26:00.back again at 6:30am tomorrow. Good night.
