:00:35. > :00:39.Well, this latest concern has emerged in the form of the lead
:00:40. > :00:41.story in today's Times, which said the Armed Forces
:00:42. > :00:43.require further budget cuts to balance the books.
:00:44. > :00:47.It said at the brunt of those budget cuts are likely to be felt
:00:48. > :00:51.And the Royal Marines base that is likely to see the most
:00:52. > :00:55.significant change appears to be this a place, which is likely
:00:56. > :00:59.to lose its operational front line status and will instead become
:01:00. > :01:02.a support base, so doing things such as training and in the process,
:01:03. > :01:05.losing maybe 200 of its 600-700 Royal Marines personnel.
:01:06. > :01:10.Well, the Defence Secretary was given ample opportunity to deny
:01:11. > :01:21.It is noticeable that you are not saying that the size
:01:22. > :01:23.of the Royal Marines will not be cut.
:01:24. > :01:26.What I am saying to you is we have 7,000 Royal Marines
:01:27. > :01:29.and it is for the First Sea Lord, who runs the Royal Navy to look
:01:30. > :01:32.all the time at the balance of Marines and sailors,
:01:33. > :01:35.and I have not agreed any cut in in the size of the Royal Marines.
:01:36. > :01:39.Do we think this really is another serious cut on the way?

:03:59. > :04:05.Porthcurno Beach, a young lady had jumped off rocks, spinal injury.
:04:06. > :04:07.And from far West Cornwall, the air ambulance was able
:04:08. > :04:12.As we landed, she said this is a marvellous service,
:04:13. > :04:19.And Nigel, my colleague looked at his watch and said
:04:20. > :04:23.Since that first launch in 1987 Heli-Med Zero One have carried
:04:24. > :04:26.out 26,373 missions, saving lives and bringing help to
:04:27. > :04:46.A car stopped in the road in front of me and without any warning
:04:47. > :04:49.he crossed the road, hit me, ran over me, literally.
:04:50. > :04:51.The next thing I know, I'm being airlifted.
:04:52. > :04:55.If it wasn't for them I wouldn't be here.
:04:56. > :04:59.The focus for the charity now is to replace this aircraft
