:00:54. > :00:57.Today, Nichol, who was an apprentice stockman and keeps his own sheep,
:00:58. > :01:01.pleated guilty to two charges under the Animal Welfare act.
:01:02. > :01:04.The magistrates were shown the footage in court and a statement
:01:05. > :01:08.was read out by a specialist vet who said this was the worst example
:01:09. > :01:13.of abusive behaviour he had seen in a 35 year career.
:01:14. > :01:17.It happened on this dairy farm in Taunton, filmed on a hidden
:01:18. > :01:20.camera by the campaign group Animal Equality.
:01:21. > :01:23.Nichol was sacked straightaway and the farmers now run extra
:01:24. > :01:31.I've been an inspector 26 years and it sort of hackles
:01:32. > :01:39.You can talk and say how somebody has been hit,
:01:40. > :01:41.but to actually see it yourself, there's something sort
:01:42. > :01:45.of primal about it and, yeah, it's not very nice.
:01:46. > :01:48.Owen Nichol will be sentenced in three weeks and was told a jail
:01:49. > :01:56.term and a ban owning livestock was a possibility.
:01:57. > :01:58.A brand new tanker for the Royal Fleet Auxilliary has
:01:59. > :02:02.arrived in Falmouth for fitting out work as part of a multi-million
:02:03. > :02:09.RFA Tidespring and her three sister ships are a new generation of tanker
:02:10. > :02:12.designed to refuel the UK's new aircraft carriers.
:02:13. > :02:17.The work at Falmouth will help secure 300 jobs at the shipyard.

:02:22. > :02:26.RFA Tidespring arrived in Falmouth at the weekend after a seven-week,
:02:27. > :02:32.14,000 mile voyage from the shipyard where she was built in South Korea.
:02:33. > :02:35.This ship and the other three like her will carry out
:02:36. > :02:38.refuelling and resupply at sea with the new carrier,
:02:39. > :02:43.HMS Queen Elizabeth, or any Nato military vessel.
:02:44. > :02:48.These ships are designed to support those ships at sea so they can carry
:02:49. > :02:51.greater amounts of aviation fuel and diesel to keep
:02:52. > :02:59.Refuelling at sea meets big ships moving at speed close to each other,
:03:00. > :03:03.a difficult and dangerous manoeuvre but the Tidespring
:03:04. > :03:14.Down below are 17,000 cubic metres of diesel and aviation fuel
:03:15. > :03:18.and the cargo fuel comes up from the control room,
:03:19. > :03:22.out through the replenishment rigs and that pumps fuel
:03:23. > :03:28.The ships were built Daewoo in South Korea in a contract worth
:03:29. > :03:36.?150 million of that has gone to UK companies who have provided much
:03:37. > :03:41.What we need to do now is put in specific mission
:03:42. > :03:43.sensitive equipment, which is the weapons
:03:44. > :03:50.and communications fit which needs to be done in a UK yard.
:03:51. > :03:53.It will take about four months to get her into specification
:03:54. > :03:56.and then we will continue on bringing the ship
:03:57. > :04:01.This contract valued at ?20 million is good news for the Falmouth Yard
:04:02. > :04:08.Secures our workforce for a year, but the infrastructure
:04:09. > :04:13.around the community, hotels, tourism, a great
:04:14. > :04:17.opportunity to secure economic prosperity for Falmouth
:04:18. > :04:23.The tankers will arrive in Falmouth for their four-month customisation
:04:24. > :04:27.one after the other over the next 18 months.
:04:28. > :04:31.After that, Falmouth hopes to get the contract for the ongoing
:04:32. > :04:41.maintenance of these ships, which will secure even more jobs.
:04:42. > :04:45.A court's heard how a six-year-old girl from Weymouth woke her parents

:04:48. > :04:50.It's claimed the intruder sexually assaulted her.
