:01:50. > :01:52.and one of our other partners decided life was tough as a GP
:01:53. > :01:59.decided to step aside, so we put out a national advert and
:02:00. > :02:04.local advert for vacancies and have been unseccessful.
:02:05. > :02:08.NHS England says that it is already working to support existing GPs,
:02:09. > :02:10.encourage people back into the profession,
:02:11. > :02:16.We are looking at how we support primary care with a whole range of
:02:17. > :02:20.professions, because clearly general practice is important, but also
:02:21. > :02:22.supporting that with pharmacists, nurse practitioners, and other
:02:23. > :02:26.professionals who can support the work force.
:02:27. > :02:31.There are plans to train them about 5,000 GPs by 2020, but
:02:32. > :02:33.will this be enough to compensate for the numbers leaving the
:02:34. > :02:38.1% of GPs in England dropped out in the last three months
:02:39. > :02:43.So it could be a case of the doctor will not see you now,
:02:44. > :02:50.The only residential care home on the Isles of Scilly has
:02:51. > :02:54.Last month, the council announced that Park House in
:02:55. > :02:56.St Mary's would shut in June because of problems recruiting
:02:57. > :03:02.Now, it says the publicity surrounding the closure has led to a
:03:03. > :03:05.rise in the number of people applying for jobs, and it's agreed
:03:06. > :03:08.to pay care workers a supplement on top of their wages to make
:03:09. > :03:16.Prosecutors will be asked to decide whether Devon and Cornwall's Police
:03:17. > :03:19.and Crime Commissioner, Alison Hernandez, should be charged
