:00:46. > :00:50.They were able to call the emergency services.

:00:51. > :00:53.By then, it's thought the driver, a young woman, had been

:00:54. > :00:57.She was taken to the Royal Cornwall Hospital but didn't survive.

:00:58. > :01:01.There are a number of houses close by.

:01:02. > :01:06.Residents here say had they heard or seen the accident happen,

:01:07. > :01:10.It's absolutely tragic that we couldn't have helped

:01:11. > :01:15.or anybody couldn't have helped in those circumstances.

:01:16. > :01:18.But we actually only saw the flashing lights.

:01:19. > :01:29.So, we thought something must have happened.

:01:30. > :01:31.But, my husband actually managed to see the emergency vehicles there.

:01:32. > :01:33.It looked like the situation was in hand.

:01:34. > :01:37.The woman has not been named but we spoke to a relative

:01:38. > :01:39.who was at the scene this morning who said he wanted to thank

:01:40. > :01:42.the emergency services for the effort they had made

:02:07. > :02:17.Is on the joke territory from the M5 is a vast building site. Today its

:02:23. > :02:26.nearest is in restore. -- is in Bristol.

:02:27. > :02:30.We've been looking for brands like John Lewis and IKEA

:02:31. > :02:31.for a number of years to underline our credential

:02:32. > :02:35.IKEA is a much bigger draw than all other shops.

:02:36. > :02:36.Plymouth would certainly have liked IKEA.

:02:37. > :02:39.Property experts did try to lure the brand further west.

:02:40. > :02:46.Is this as far west as IKEA is likely

:02:47. > :02:49.to be coming or will you go further down the peninsula at some point,

:02:50. > :02:51.maybe into Cornwall or in the West Devon?

:02:52. > :02:54.We've made a big step coming to the South West into Exeter.

:02:55. > :02:57.I think nothing is set in stone as to what will

:02:58. > :03:01.We went to Truro to see if people were following developments

:03:02. > :03:07.It's something that lots and lots of people want, they use it a

:03:08. > :03:10.lot, you can get it online but it's not the same.

:03:11. > :03:13.I think if it was a bit nearer to us again, it would be

:03:14. > :03:22.Some out-of-town stores should but not this one.

:03:23. > :03:25.If this was a flat pack, it would be more than a coffee

:03:26. > :03:38.The first firm development was back in 2014

:03:39. > :03:40.that was when Exeter planners voted in favour of planning

:03:41. > :03:43.nearly a year to bolt on the section 106.

:03:44. > :03:46.the formal deal that seals the out going concern.

:03:47. > :03:52.It took until the end of last year for the detailed application to be

:03:53. > :03:55.IKEA say they are open to open in the early

:03:56. > :04:04.Four and a half years after getting the planning

:04:05. > :04:08.They are hoping the finished store will have such good

:04:09. > :04:14.environmental credentials that it officially qualifies as excellent

:04:15. > :04:21.We must certainly hope that when they

:04:22. > :04:23.finish the build, they don't have the odds escalator

:04:24. > :04:32.A young man who came runner up in a BBC Spotlight enterprise

:04:33. > :04:34.competition nearly 35 years ago is now running a multi million

:04:35. > :04:39.Luke Furse from Holsworthy says his earthmoving company has

:04:40. > :04:42.worked on almost every road building project in the region.

:04:43. > :05:00.Now the spotlight Young enterprise competition. This was spotlight 34

:05:01. > :05:03.years ago, with Kristen at the helm. Tonight getting competitor is a

:05:04. > :05:08.young man from West Devon whose holding his enterprise and are

:05:09. > :05:11.starting up is less to catch the judges I've. I started a farm and

:05:12. > :05:16.didn't like it, I wanted to be on the machinery. That's where it

:05:17. > :05:19.started. And this is Luke Furse today. I remember the filming crew

:05:20. > :05:26.coming out on filmed me driving my first digger. I think I've got one

:05:27. > :05:28.work man at the time. It was quite an exciting time in those days.

:05:29. > :05:39.Remember the love stories Gospel Bridge and the new age 30 bypass,

:05:40. > :05:44.Luke Furse claims his company have been included in every building road

:05:45. > :05:49.scheme in the south-west, including the Temple bypass. Fasten your seat

:05:50. > :05:52.belts because the day met him, he was running a tractor pulling fun

:05:53. > :06:00.day for his company to raise my for charity. Tractor pulling started in

:06:01. > :06:06.America. Two farmers arguing as to whose horse could pull the most way,

:06:07. > :06:12.the autobahn door, but on the horse and the went with it to solve the

:06:13. > :06:17.argument. That's where it started, with horsepower. Now some of the

:06:18. > :06:20.pillars in the country at 10,000 horsepower. He said it is the

:06:21. > :06:27.world's highest powered motor sport on the sledge creates a 60 tonne

:06:28. > :06:31.drag. This pool isn't cheap to run, it does just one mile to the gallon.

:06:32. > :06:41.It's his favourite toy, a tank he bought 30 years ago. The tank is 15

:06:42. > :06:46.times, it's an armoured personnel carrier, carries 14 trips, powered

:06:47. > :06:53.by Rolls-Royce engine. I asked the successful businessman why has he

:06:54. > :06:55.not retired yet? I enjoy it. My work is still my hobby but I enjoy every

:06:56. > :06:59.day. It's 40 years to the day

:07:00. > :07:01.that the BBC's Antiques Roadshow Today the show was in Somerset

:07:02. > :07:05.kicking off its new series. And as Clinton Rogers reports,

:07:06. > :07:26.the appalling weather Rain, what rain? The queue told its

:07:27. > :07:27.own story. 3000 people went to be deterred from showing off their

:07:28. > :07:49.family treasures. Nice little teddy. come from? I know what was my

:07:50. > :07:53.grandfathers. Well done to the Beatles for hard days night. My son

:07:54. > :07:59.had made quite an effective easier. -- some made an effort. This man

:08:00. > :08:05.from New Zealand who wanted an antiques road show opinion on his

:08:06. > :08:08.bars. We enjoy it, when we were coming I thought that there is a

:08:09. > :08:16.shot on I'd like to come. Just to remind you if you have brought any

:08:17. > :08:20.guns, knives, swords. As for the expense, every show throws up a

:08:21. > :08:26.surprise or two. This morning we had a deactivated bomb from 1930 and now

:08:27. > :08:32.used as a doorstop. It will not go bang! And then there is John, who

:08:33. > :08:37.doesn't bring treasures to be valued, he just likes being in the

:08:38. > :08:42.audience. In fact he's watched 200 live shows. Do you not get bored?

:08:43. > :08:50.No. Everyone is different. Different place, different people. I don't,

:08:51. > :08:55.it's all different. It's 20 years since antique road show last year.

:08:56. > :09:03.It was a working railway station then and so it was today. The

:09:04. > :09:10.timetable stops for now one. -- that timetable stops for nobody. Did

:09:11. > :09:14.Picasso, a hidden gem turn up today? You going to have to wait until the

:09:15. > :09:19.show is broadcast and that will be sometime in the autumn.

:09:20. > :09:22.Good to see the crowds were not put off by the red today, let's see what

:09:23. > :09:30.the weather has in store for us. Pretty wet day for some of us but

:09:31. > :09:32.we've now lost that persistent rain and it's a brighter day for tomorrow

:09:33. > :09:37.but with the risk of showers. The but with the risk of showers. The

:09:38. > :09:41.showers popped up and they can be lively and the odd rumble of thunder

:09:42. > :09:45.perhaps. Away from the showers we should have nice bells of sunshine.

:09:46. > :09:48.This is the weather front that was affecting us, clearing eastwards and

:09:49. > :09:52.in the coming days we have low pressure in the north of the UK and

:09:53. > :09:55.churning up the atmosphere and allowing these showers to develop.

:09:56. > :10:03.Allander showers it should be quite bright. -- other than the showers.

:10:04. > :10:07.Through tonight lingering cloud will clear and starry skies and you might

:10:08. > :10:11.see an isolated shower in the West but most of us will have a dry night

:10:12. > :10:16.and a chilly night than we've seen of late locally down to five or 6

:10:17. > :10:19.degrees. In the started tomorrow morning but a bright morning, lots

:10:20. > :10:23.of sunshine but gradually the showers develop. The shoppers are

:10:24. > :10:27.tricky to pin down exactly but it may be that inland areas will see

:10:28. > :10:36.the lion's share and parts of the north Coast, some fewer showers. A

:10:37. > :10:39.fresher feel than recent days. Basically, it's a case of sunshine

:10:40. > :10:42.and showers as we had through the next few days. Some of the showers

:10:43. > :10:47.may be lively and it should be bright. Pressure over the coming

:10:48. > :10:51.days and about one by Sunday. Have a good night. That's all for tonight,

:10:52. > :10:52.thanks for joining us and from all of us here, have a good night.

:10:53. > :10:55.Goodbye.
