:00:59. > :01:01.He was last seen here in the early hours.
:01:02. > :01:04.He had been at university and had come back to celebrate
:01:05. > :01:08.Eventually, his body was pulled from the sea nearby.
:01:09. > :01:11.Events leading up to his death are still not clear.
:01:12. > :01:16.But his mother has started working with pupils at his old school,
:01:17. > :01:20.She is hoping to talk to many more young people so that
:01:21. > :01:23.when they are old enough to go out drinking, or even before, they take
:01:24. > :01:26.steps to protect themselves - like charging up their mobile phones
:01:27. > :01:28.and not getting separated from each other.
:01:29. > :01:34.We need to be realistic and practical and not tell people
:01:35. > :01:38.not to drink and accept that they will do, but give them
:01:39. > :01:46.So that they can make choices and understand what the risks are.

:03:24. > :03:34.There was quite a sight to be seen on Weymouth beach today as hundreds
:03:35. > :03:36.of runners donned Santa suits to chase a "Christmas pudding",
:03:37. > :03:40.an "elf" and a pantomime dame along the sands.
:03:41. > :03:42.The festive fundraiser - which is growing in
:03:43. > :03:44.popularity every year - was supporting the Will Mackaness
:03:45. > :03:49.Trust, a charity which helps local children take up watersports.
:03:50. > :03:52.The Santas ran three miles or so along the beach
:03:53. > :03:57.from the Pavilion end to the groyne at Greenhill and back.
:03:58. > :04:08.We have a Met Office warning of fog in force for East Devon,
:04:09. > :04:11.Dorset and Somerset but that fog could form elsewhere as well.
