:00:32. > :00:33.A 20-year-old woman has died from injuries she suffered

:00:34. > :00:36.while operating machinery on a farm near Dawlish.

:00:37. > :00:40.Two air ambulances were sent to a farm, behind the Gatehouse area

:00:41. > :00:44.of the town, where the woman was fatally injured in an incident

:00:45. > :00:50.Police and the Health and Safety Executive are investigating.

:00:51. > :00:53.Thousands of pounds are to be invested in CCTV

:00:54. > :00:59.Cornwall already has a state-of-the-art CCTV hub provided

:01:00. > :01:01.by the Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service.

:01:02. > :01:04.The Police and Crime Commissioner Alison Hernandez now

:01:14. > :01:19.but we can see Truro, Hale, Penryn, Camborne,

:01:20. > :01:25.Halston, Penzance and Redruth all in one room.

:01:26. > :01:30.When police officers are faced with a challenging

:01:31. > :01:33.situation, if there's CCTV there it is like having a second

:01:34. > :01:36.officer looking over your shoulder and if we identify medical

:01:37. > :01:39.emergencies through the CCTV, we can activate the Ambulance Service very

:01:40. > :01:44.It is this ability that has attracted the police and crime

:01:45. > :01:49.commission who are now offering to help pay for similar systems.

:01:50. > :01:53.I am very much interested to see how we can create similar hubs in Devon

:01:54. > :01:54.so that we can help with their monitoring.

:01:55. > :01:57.I am also still heavily involved in connecting up more

:01:58. > :02:05.Each town is charged just under ?1,000 per CCTV camera per year.

:02:06. > :02:14.Other towns in Cornwall are queueing up to get connected.

:04:51. > :04:55.rain moves in for Tuesday, after that it is cloudy and dapper but
