:00:12. > :00:14.the Very Reverend Jonathan Draper, is leaving his post

:00:15. > :00:23.It comes months after he was described by his own Bishop

:00:24. > :00:26.The Diocese of Exeter confirmed the Dean will retire

:00:27. > :00:30.after a sabbatical ends in August, saying he has achieved considerable

:00:31. > :00:33.change and given the Cathedral a greater mission focus -

:00:34. > :00:43.while his preaching ministry has been greatly appreciated.

:00:44. > :00:44.Today's statement spoke of challenging issues

:00:45. > :00:48.not least financial, and said while progress has been

:00:49. > :00:49.made there are still many challenges ahead.

:00:50. > :00:54.I think it's sad. I think that he...

:00:55. > :00:58.There have been major problems at the Cathedral of recent years,

:00:59. > :01:00.and I think that perhaps he has decided

:01:01. > :01:02.that this is the best thing for the Cathedral itself

:01:03. > :01:04.and for the whole of the congregation.

:01:05. > :01:10.I'm surprised, because he seems to be doing a good job here.

:01:11. > :01:14.But as everything, there's always time for change.

:01:15. > :01:16."I don't want to see anyone going through the heartache

:01:17. > :01:22.The words of a north Devon woman who lost her 19-year-old son

:01:29. > :01:37.her family has raised over the last eight years.

:01:38. > :01:40.Not what you'd expect to see a teenager doing first thing

:01:41. > :01:44.But for Nathan, this screening could save his life.

:01:45. > :01:47.He's the same age as Martin Luckett, who died suddenly from

:01:48. > :01:54.Since then, his mum and sister have fund-raised tirelessly,

:01:55. > :01:59.so that other young people can be checked for warning signs.

:02:00. > :02:06.There was a song came on the radio and I nearly

:02:07. > :02:12.started, and I thought, "No, you've got to get on with it.

:02:13. > :02:15.It's still quite emotional, because I see, like,

:02:16. > :02:18.that would be Martin's age, and we don't want to see anybody

:02:19. > :02:20.going through the heartache that we went through.

:02:21. > :02:23.And 200 young people have come to these screening

:02:24. > :02:24.sessions this weekend, because of the awareness raised

:02:25. > :02:28.You may think that this is a condition that affects

:02:29. > :02:36.But we currently know that at least 12 young people,

:02:37. > :02:38.otherwise fit and healthy, every week die suddenly.

:02:39. > :02:41.Stathis thinks every young person should have the option to be tested

:02:42. > :02:45.But Public Health England has told Spotlight it regularly

:02:46. > :02:47.reviews who gets screened, and has found no clear evidence

:02:48. > :02:49.whether screening children would reduce illness or death.

:02:50. > :02:52.Well, my mum's a good friend of the family who organised it,

:02:53. > :02:55.so she thought it was best to go and get checked out and make

:02:56. > :03:05.What do you think he would have made of all the fundraising and all this

:03:06. > :03:14.Yeah, he would have been really proud.

:03:15. > :03:22.In rugby, the Exeter Chiefs are through to their third

:03:23. > :03:24.successive Anglo-Welsh Cup Final, after a comfortable victory over

:03:25. > :03:27.The Chiefs went over four times in the 24-7 win,

:03:28. > :03:30.as they booked their passage for next week's final showdown

:03:31. > :03:32.against Leicester - ironically, the game will be played at Quins'

:03:37. > :03:38.celebrating the Holi Festival of Colours this weekend.

:03:39. > :03:40.It's certainly a vibrant affair as Spotlight's Johnny

:03:41. > :03:51.This is Holi, a Hindu celebration of the arrival

:03:52. > :04:04.But before all that, there's prayers - and lots of eating.

:04:05. > :04:12.Fried bread, some rice, that go fantastically well

:04:13. > :04:19.Which is mixed with vegetables and a lentil curry.

:04:20. > :04:21.Today we're celebrating Holi, which is the celebration of colours,

:04:22. > :04:25.and we celebrate the end of a good harvest and the start of spring.

:04:26. > :04:27.And good over evil, which is a nice message.

:04:28. > :04:33.It's good, clean family fun, with a bit of mischief thrown in.

:04:34. > :04:35.We're planning to split into teams, and we're

:04:36. > :04:43.There isn't many rules, you just take colours and throw it.

:04:44. > :04:45.You're not going to bombard me, are you?

:05:04. > :05:06.Some of us are ending the day with some sunshine,

:05:07. > :05:09.and that translates to clear skies into tonight.

:05:10. > :05:11.Some patchy rain still just clearing the Channel Islands,

:05:12. > :05:14.but underneath those clear skies for tonight it will

:05:15. > :05:17.We could see a touch of frost for some prone cold spots,

:05:18. > :05:20.and it's a nippier start tomorrow morning than we've seen of late,

:05:21. > :05:24.Some good spells of sunshine, but gradually cloud will wend

:05:25. > :05:28.its way in from the northwest, and it will tend to lower as well

:05:31. > :05:33.Parts of South Devon, Dorset and of course

:05:34. > :05:36.the Channel Islands staying bright for the longest, and in

:05:37. > :05:38.the sunshine, highs getting up to around 40 degrees.

:05:39. > :05:40.Cloudier skies in general then through Tuesday and Wednesday,

:05:41. > :05:42.a little bit damp at times, but it is staying mild
