:00:47. > :00:49.He's one of four clergy to sign a letter to the Northern Devon

:00:50. > :00:53.Health Care Trust to protest at the closure of Holsworthy Hospital.

:00:54. > :00:55.His main concern is that his parishioners will have to travel

:00:56. > :01:01.They're going to be in a place that they don't know,

:01:02. > :01:04.surrounded by people they don't know, often isolated from the people

:01:05. > :01:09.who love and care for them, because of the distances involved.

:01:10. > :01:11.That means at the end of their lives, when people

:01:12. > :01:14.ought to be comforted, they're going to be alone,

:01:15. > :01:21.Hundreds have already protested at meetings about the closure.

:01:22. > :01:25.The letter from the clergy expresses concern that the Northern Devon

:01:26. > :01:27.Health Care NHS Trust chose to use emergency legislation to close

:01:28. > :01:38.They say that they want to put the care in the community but how

:01:39. > :01:40.can you imagine running around all these roads looking

:01:41. > :01:47.It surely would be much better to have it all in one central

:01:48. > :01:51.If someone's had treatment elsewhere and coming back to Holsworthy,

:01:52. > :01:54.you need that stepping stone before you go home.

:01:55. > :01:59.Well, I think it's disgusting in an area like this where there's

:02:00. > :02:01.so many retired people, the hospital is urgently

:02:02. > :02:07.The trust hasn't responded to the letter yet but many

:02:08. > :02:15.in the Holsworthy parish hope it will reconsider the closure.

:02:16. > :02:18.Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was found

:02:19. > :02:21.with significant head injuries near Exeter's Quay car park.

:02:22. > :02:24.The 29-year-old man was found in the early hours of this morning

:02:25. > :02:27.and is now being treated at Plymouth's Derriford Hospital.

:02:28. > :02:29.Police are trying to establish what happened and want to hear

:02:30. > :02:36.On to football, and a great win for Plymouth Argyle as they beat

:02:37. > :02:39.League Two leaders Doncaster Rovers in their top of the table

:04:07. > :04:11.We have still got that breeze and that should keep us frost-free,

:05:31. > :05:36.temperatures of 20 degrees, that in the Highlands of Scotland, but here

:05:37. > :05:38.we are likely to have a frost overnight. A cold night for many of

:05:39. > :05:39.us, despite more cloud
