9:18:41 > 9:18:44Hello. The weather over the next five days has a fair amount of variety.

9:18:44 > 9:18:47After the sunshine and dry weather for many on Tuesday,

9:18:47 > 9:18:50Wednesday is already looking different.

9:18:50 > 9:18:53Early rain in Northern Ireland clears Eastwards,

9:18:53 > 9:18:56rain and blustery winds in Scotland,

9:18:56 > 9:18:59but after some morning patchy rain

9:18:59 > 9:19:01in the West of England and Wales,

9:19:01 > 9:19:03things turn cloudier and wetter.

9:19:03 > 9:19:05Further East, you'll hold onto the sunshine.

9:19:05 > 9:19:07Through the afternoon,

9:19:07 > 9:19:10lots of cloud across the Southwest,

9:19:10 > 9:19:11misty around the coasts

9:19:11 > 9:19:15and just the threat of a few isolated thunderstorms.

9:19:15 > 9:19:18Occasional rain working Eastwards across Wales,

9:19:18 > 9:19:21blustery winds during the second half of the day,

9:19:21 > 9:19:24but winds ease for Northern Ireland,

9:19:24 > 9:19:26the afternoon looking brighter,

9:19:26 > 9:19:28just one or two showers left by this stage.

9:19:28 > 9:19:30A lot more brighter weather across Scotland,

9:19:30 > 9:19:33but there will be some heavy showers

9:19:33 > 9:19:36but the Northeast should get away with a largely dry day.

9:19:36 > 9:19:39Plenty of cloud and outbreaks of rain for Northern England,

9:19:39 > 9:19:43the odd rumble of thunder could be found across Yorkshire

9:19:43 > 9:19:47and the Midlands, but through much of the East Midlands, East Anglia

9:19:47 > 9:19:50and the Southeast, a dry, sunny and very warm day.

9:19:50 > 9:19:52Could get up to 28 degrees.

9:19:52 > 9:19:55A few isolated thunderstorms during the night,

9:19:55 > 9:19:57but they will fade.

9:19:57 > 9:19:59Could be misty around coasts,

9:19:59 > 9:20:01particularly in the South

9:20:01 > 9:20:03and again, another muggy night,

9:20:03 > 9:20:07temperatures not much lower than 17 or 18 degrees.

9:20:07 > 9:20:10We've got a ridge of high pressure

9:20:10 > 9:20:13so we're back to the largely dry story.

9:20:13 > 9:20:15This is a weak weather front fading away,

9:20:15 > 9:20:18which will have brought the rain on Wednesday.

9:20:18 > 9:20:21Cloud starts to push its way Northwards

9:20:21 > 9:20:23but lots of sunny spells inland.

9:20:23 > 9:20:27A few isolated, maybe heavy showers in the Northern half of the UK,

9:20:27 > 9:20:30but a lot of dry and bright weather,

9:20:30 > 9:20:32temperatures creeping up.

9:20:32 > 9:20:35Outside London, we could get 30 Celsius

9:20:35 > 9:20:37during the second part of the day.

9:20:37 > 9:20:40The night that follows will be particularly humid

9:20:40 > 9:20:42and we see more in the way of that humidity

9:20:42 > 9:20:45pushing Northwards. Some storms look likely

9:20:45 > 9:20:47to be rumbling their way Northwards,

9:20:47 > 9:20:50mainly to Ireland, one or two further East.

9:20:50 > 9:20:53A lot of you will have a dry day.

9:20:53 > 9:20:54Very sunny, very hot.

9:20:54 > 9:20:57We could hit 31 degrees in a few spots.

9:20:57 > 9:20:59The story as we go into the weekend

9:20:59 > 9:21:01is a bit more complicated.

9:21:01 > 9:21:03We've got these weather fronts,

9:21:03 > 9:21:06a plume of very humid air pushing its way Northwards.

9:21:06 > 9:21:09The potential for some severe thunderstorms,

9:21:09 > 9:21:12but here's where the uncertainty lies.

9:21:12 > 9:21:15Push it further West, more of you will get wet in the severe storms.

9:21:15 > 9:21:18Push it further East, maybe some of you will miss

9:21:18 > 9:21:20the worst of the severe weather.

9:21:20 > 9:21:23Either way, that will clear Eastwards,

9:21:23 > 9:21:27taking some of that oppressive heat and humidity with it.

9:21:27 > 9:21:30It puts as back into more pleasant territory.

9:21:30 > 9:21:32It'll still be pretty warm

9:21:32 > 9:21:34but there will be a scattering of showers

9:21:34 > 9:21:37some of those on the hot and humid side.

9:21:37 > 9:21:39Beyond that, we go into the six- to ten-day trend.

9:21:39 > 9:21:43It looks like low pressure will push closer to the Northwest of the UK,

9:21:43 > 9:21:45high pressure holding onto the South and East.

9:21:45 > 9:21:48But the big story for many - that hot and humid weather

9:21:48 > 9:21:50will have pushed out the way,

9:21:50 > 9:21:52but not particularly far.

9:21:52 > 9:21:54We could still have some Southerly winds

9:21:54 > 9:21:57so whilst it will feel fresher than the rest of this week,

9:21:57 > 9:21:59it'll still be warm at times.

9:21:59 > 9:22:03If you're after wet weather, most likely towards the North and West.

9:22:03 > 9:22:06The further South and East you are, it should stay largely dry,

9:22:06 > 9:22:10but the threat of thunderstorms will never be too far away. Good night.
