0:00:03 > 0:00:05Hello. A lot of dry weather to come during the next ten days,
0:00:05 > 0:00:08but we are talking about British weather.
0:00:08 > 0:00:10There will be a few blips on the horizon, as I'll show you.
0:00:10 > 0:00:12Let's start with Wednesday first,
0:00:12 > 0:00:15because a lot of mist, low cloud around first thing.
0:00:15 > 0:00:18A few glimpses of sunshine elsewhere, particularly western areas
0:00:18 > 0:00:21and elsewhere we'll see skies brighten, most noticeably
0:00:21 > 0:00:23parts of Western Scotland and Northern Ireland,
0:00:23 > 0:00:25compared with Tuesday, but there will be areas
0:00:25 > 0:00:28from the north-east of England through the Midlands to the Southwest
0:00:28 > 0:00:30where we'll hold on to a lot more cloud than on Tuesday.
0:00:30 > 0:00:32That will have a slight impact on temperature,
0:00:32 > 0:00:36but temperatures still quite widely into the 20s for England and Wales.
0:00:36 > 0:00:39East Anglia and Southeast see some longer spells of sunshine later,
0:00:39 > 0:00:42and we'll see sunny spells continue across some parts of Devon, Cornwall,
0:00:42 > 0:00:45into Wales and Northwest England.
0:00:45 > 0:00:47There will be a bit more cloud compared with Tuesday
0:00:47 > 0:00:48in the Northeast of Scotland.
0:00:48 > 0:00:51We'll have some cloud across Western Scotland and Northern Ireland
0:00:51 > 0:00:54but a lot thinner compared with Tuesday's cloud
0:00:54 > 0:00:57and a better chance of some brighter breaks of sunshine coming through
0:00:57 > 0:01:00and temperatures that little bit higher as well.
0:01:00 > 0:01:03As we go through into Wednesday night and Thursday morning,
0:01:03 > 0:01:06some mist, low cloud and fog possible here and there,
0:01:06 > 0:01:09particularly around coasts, Northeast England, Eastern parts of Scotland,
0:01:09 > 0:01:12the cloud could thicken up in places to allow the odd spot of drizzle,
0:01:12 > 0:01:14but most will be dry as we go into Thursday
0:01:14 > 0:01:16and temperatures generally in double figures,
0:01:16 > 0:01:20and the nights probably getting a little less chilly for a while,
0:01:20 > 0:01:23but high pressure still to the east of us on Thursday, allowing
0:01:23 > 0:01:27that general southeasterly flow, keeping this low pressure at bay
0:01:27 > 0:01:29but we have weather fronts pushing out from the north of it,
0:01:29 > 0:01:31which could get close to Lewis
0:01:31 > 0:01:33and Harris as we go through Thursday afternoon.
0:01:33 > 0:01:35Potential for some wetter weather here,
0:01:35 > 0:01:38a greater chance of a few showers in Western Scotland
0:01:38 > 0:01:39and maybe a bit of drizzle
0:01:39 > 0:01:41to the Southeast and across Northeastern England,
0:01:41 > 0:01:44but much of the country, again, it's that dry day.
0:01:44 > 0:01:47Starts with a lot of mist, low cloud, patchy fog,
0:01:47 > 0:01:50brighter conditions breaking through during the afternoon, but generally
0:01:50 > 0:01:53a bit more cloud building compared with the days that precede it.
0:01:53 > 0:01:55Still warm, though, once any brightness comes through.
0:01:55 > 0:01:58An area of low pressure continues to circulate out to the west of us
0:01:58 > 0:02:01as we go into Friday. Still got this general easterly flow
0:02:01 > 0:02:04but we notice high pressure starts to build to the north of the UK,
0:02:04 > 0:02:06it pushes our weather fronts from Lewis and Harris
0:02:06 > 0:02:08as we finish Thursday,
0:02:08 > 0:02:11down into other parts of Scotland and Northern Ireland for Friday.
0:02:11 > 0:02:13Patchy rain at worst, nothing desperately heavy,
0:02:13 > 0:02:16cooler conditions developing to the north of it, still warm enough
0:02:16 > 0:02:19for any brighter breaks further south but again, a lot of cloud.
0:02:19 > 0:02:22Some of that patchy rain will push south as we go into Saturday
0:02:22 > 0:02:24into England and Wales, so a lot of cloud here,
0:02:24 > 0:02:27brighter where this high builds in across Scotland and Northern Ireland,
0:02:27 > 0:02:30but chillier mornings once again, slightly sunnier days,
0:02:30 > 0:02:33but there will be a few brighter breaks further south
0:02:33 > 0:02:36and still potentially getting temperatures into the low 20s.
0:02:36 > 0:02:38As we finish the weekend going into Sunday, this area
0:02:38 > 0:02:41of low pressure which has been meandering for a few days
0:02:41 > 0:02:43to the Southwest could start to push some weather fronts
0:02:43 > 0:02:46a little closer to Southwest England and Southwest Wales.
0:02:46 > 0:02:49A lot of uncertainty of the timing, just how heavy the rain will be,
0:02:49 > 0:02:52but it looks like there will be some splashes of rain toward
0:02:52 > 0:02:54Southwest England, South Wales, the odd shower elsewhere,
0:02:54 > 0:02:57brighter breaks developing after a cloudy start,
0:02:57 > 0:03:00and still a little on the cool side further north. Beyond that,
0:03:00 > 0:03:01as we go into the following week,
0:03:01 > 0:03:03we start with low pressure to the Southwest,
0:03:03 > 0:03:06high-pressure centred across the North, so this is where
0:03:06 > 0:03:07the dry, cooler weather will be,
0:03:07 > 0:03:10the green zone denoting the best chance of seeing some wet weather
0:03:10 > 0:03:12through the first part of the period,
0:03:12 > 0:03:14so southern parts of England and Wales,
0:03:14 > 0:03:17but as that low pressure looks to meander later in the period
0:03:17 > 0:03:20to the Northwest, things a bit more like climatology
0:03:20 > 0:03:22with high pressure to the Southeast, drier weather,
0:03:22 > 0:03:25greatest chance of showers and longer spells of rain in the far Northwest,
0:03:25 > 0:03:27but by this stage, southwesterly winds should mean
0:03:27 > 0:03:30we see temperatures rise once again. Bye for now.
0:03:32 > 0:03:32Espionage...
0:03:32 > 0:03:34Who would possibly assassinate him?
0:03:34 > 0:03:35This is a minefield.
0:03:35 > 0:03:36..deception...
0:03:36 > 0:03:39There's so much more to this story than I thought. Wow!
0:03:39 > 0:03:40..and even murder.
0:03:40 > 0:03:42With a knife! A real shock.
0:03:42 > 0:03:44Unravelling the mysteries of their family tree.
0:03:44 > 0:03:47A baker! Well, I'm damned.
