:00:00. > :00:18.Now, whether prospects for the week ahead. -- weather. September has

:00:19. > :00:26.been dominated by mist and autumn weather. Cooler nights underneath

:00:27. > :00:34.these guys but turning increasingly unsettled as the week goes on. The

:00:35. > :00:39.wind will pick up and the cloud will move in. But in the meantime, a

:00:40. > :00:43.largely dry story, with perhaps just one show across East Anglia.

:00:44. > :00:52.Otherwise, it should be rain free. Temperatures in the mid- to high

:00:53. > :00:55.teens typically, but a fresher feel compared to recently in the southern

:00:56. > :01:03.parts. Largely clear skies overnight. Patches of mist and fog

:01:04. > :01:07.as the night wears on. Temperatures in towns and cities in double

:01:08. > :01:16.figures but feeling chilly in the countryside. On Monday, high

:01:17. > :01:20.pressure dominates across the UK. This weather front will creep into

:01:21. > :01:25.the north-west as the day goes on. Essentially, it is a rather fine day

:01:26. > :01:31.for most areas. Some rain across the Northern Isles by the end of the

:01:32. > :01:36.day, but sunny spells and light winds and nice September sunshine.

:01:37. > :01:41.Temperatures up to the high teens. Then, things begin to change a

:01:42. > :01:46.little. High pressure holds on in the south. Another clear and chilly

:01:47. > :01:51.night here. But this weather front will move in across the west,

:01:52. > :01:55.introducing cloud and rain. These are the temperatures in towns and

:01:56. > :01:58.cities but the rural parts of England and Wales in particular will

:01:59. > :02:05.be quite chilly, going down to 4.5 degrees. A fresh start to the day on

:02:06. > :02:10.Tuesday. That weather front, there it is, that band of rain pushing

:02:11. > :02:14.into the south. Some uncertainty as to how quickly that will happen, but

:02:15. > :02:19.the head of it, that is where the best of the sunshine will be. By

:02:20. > :02:23.this time, the high-pressure system is well and truly slipping away. The

:02:24. > :02:33.isobars tighten up and a breeze pushes across the UK with a slight

:02:34. > :02:37.edge to it. Temperatures still about right in the mid to high teens and a

:02:38. > :02:40.fair bit of bright weather as well. The isobars get tighter with time.

:02:41. > :02:46.More energy in the Atlantic, generally. But high-pressure is

:02:47. > :02:52.close enough in the south to keep things settled here. One or two

:02:53. > :02:57.places could get up to 21 degrees. Rain across northern areas. To

:02:58. > :03:04.summarise, we begin the week with high-pressure dominating the UK.

:03:05. > :03:08.That is why it has been such a dry first half of the month. But by the

:03:09. > :03:14.end of the week, look at that change. High pressure lingers in the

:03:15. > :03:17.road. The wind picks up on the isobars squeezed together across the

:03:18. > :03:21.north. And it looks like that is how it will stay right across the

:03:22. > :03:24.weekend and onwards into the following week. Reasonably quiet

:03:25. > :03:30.autumnal weather across southern areas. Generally dry. But as you go

:03:31. > :03:31.further north, strong winds
