:00:07. > :00:16.Hello. I will look at the next few days but we will look into next week

:00:17. > :00:21.as September draws to a close. September has made the headlines as

:00:22. > :00:24.being dry. Although there is rain, there isn't a great deal over the

:00:25. > :00:29.next few days. Over the next two or three days the weather systems will

:00:30. > :00:34.drift into northern areas and high pressure will keep things largely

:00:35. > :00:40.dry but cloudy in the South. At the chilly start in the South, it will

:00:41. > :00:46.cloud over and a weather system will ring hill fog and rain across

:00:47. > :00:51.northern and western areas. The eastern parts of Scotland, England,

:00:52. > :00:58.Northern Ireland and Wales, seemed warmth and temperatures into the low

:00:59. > :01:00.20s. Hot on the heels of that weather system, another one comes in

:01:01. > :01:04.on Thursday night. It is quite potent with severe gale force winds

:01:05. > :01:10.and those will be a feature of the weather through Friday. In fact

:01:11. > :01:14.Thursday and Friday. It does blow the cloud away, brings some showers

:01:15. > :01:20.and in southern areas we could have a cloudy day with some showers

:01:21. > :01:23.around, but not for all. Many places will have dry weather as well. As

:01:24. > :01:30.the sun comes out temperatures could be in the high teens and local 20s

:01:31. > :01:33.which is above average for this time of year. Low pressure is still close

:01:34. > :01:38.by into the weekend in southern areas. But it is still quite windy.

:01:39. > :01:41.A greater risk of rain in the North and West but there will be a lot of

:01:42. > :01:48.dry weather around. It just looks quite cloudy. Some warmth when the

:01:49. > :01:53.sunshine comes out into the low 20s and they should not be many chilly

:01:54. > :02:00.nights with the blanket of cloud. Rebecca Bee some mist and fog around

:02:01. > :02:03.in the mornings. On Sunday it is starting to recede. It is allowing

:02:04. > :02:07.the weather front to come in later in the weekend. It looks as if it

:02:08. > :02:14.will ring it to Northern Ireland and Scotland primarily. We cannot rule

:02:15. > :02:18.out drizzle elsewhere. In the sunshine, quite a lot of warmth. For

:02:19. > :02:23.the next three or four days, not a huge amount of rain. But we pick up

:02:24. > :02:26.a southerly wind which could increase the chances of developing

:02:27. > :02:34.showery rain, even in southern counties. But it will stay quite

:02:35. > :02:38.warm. That is generally the trend for the next few days. We should not

:02:39. > :02:42.have many chilly nights after tonight and we should see

:02:43. > :02:46.temperatures up of average in the day. Last night we were talking

:02:47. > :02:51.about how all our computer models, the different models we run all

:02:52. > :02:56.converging giving the same idea of the forecast. So we had a lot of

:02:57. > :03:02.confidence for the next few days. But during the course of the last

:03:03. > :03:11.few days we have seen a slight diversion. But things do settle down

:03:12. > :03:15.later next week. But the key is what happens across Canada and North

:03:16. > :03:21.America. It will directly affect what is happening in the UK into the

:03:22. > :03:26.early part of next week, which is set to turn on saddled with rain for

:03:27. > :03:30.some but it looks drier towards the end of next week.
