0:00:03 > 0:00:05Hello. Chillier air coming along at the end of the week,

0:00:05 > 0:00:07but, snow fans, don't get too excited, it is all relative.

0:00:07 > 0:00:10It is so mild that the moment,

0:00:10 > 0:00:1318 degrees again in one or two places on Saturday.

0:00:13 > 0:00:17More warmth to come but also more wind and rain.

0:00:17 > 0:00:20On Sunday, some very wet weather spilling up across the western

0:00:20 > 0:00:23side of England and Wales and into the heart of Northern Ireland

0:00:23 > 0:00:26and Scotland. Heavy rain, strong winds too.

0:00:26 > 0:00:29In stark contrast, further south and east, through much of the Midlands,

0:00:29 > 0:00:32East Anglia and southern England, a dry day and another mild one.

0:00:32 > 0:00:3416 or 17 degrees.

0:00:34 > 0:00:38Those winds across the far north as we go into the night could be

0:00:38 > 0:00:40an issue.

0:00:40 > 0:00:44We could see gusts as high as 60 or 70mph across the Northern Isles.

0:00:44 > 0:00:46So we will keep an eye on those.

0:00:46 > 0:00:50Further wet weather will be sweeping in from the west as we head

0:00:50 > 0:00:51into the morning.

0:00:51 > 0:00:54Some heavy rain again for more northern and western parts of the UK.

0:00:54 > 0:00:57Each day the rainfall totals tot up and the Met Office is working very

0:00:57 > 0:01:01closely with the Environment Agency to keep an eye on river catchments.

0:01:01 > 0:01:04It will brighten up across the north of Scotland through the day,

0:01:04 > 0:01:07but the most reliable dry weather will again be further south.

0:01:07 > 0:01:09Southern parts of England having a dry day.

0:01:09 > 0:01:12All a bit breezy and cloudy, not much in the way

0:01:12 > 0:01:14of brightness here.

0:01:14 > 0:01:16As we go through Monday night and into Tuesday,

0:01:16 > 0:01:20another pulse of wet weather pushes back across northern areas.

0:01:20 > 0:01:22Very strong gusty winds within this flow,

0:01:22 > 0:01:27with ripples along this weather front providing further outbreaks of rain.

0:01:27 > 0:01:30Through the early part of the coming week, it is more of the same.

0:01:30 > 0:01:33Further rain for sure, at times some very strong winds,

0:01:33 > 0:01:37especially in the north. But mild just about everywhere.

0:01:37 > 0:01:39Somewhat cooler at times across the far north.

0:01:39 > 0:01:42The highest temperatures will again be across the more southern

0:01:42 > 0:01:43areas on Tuesday,

0:01:43 > 0:01:46with the help of some brightness in between further pulses of rain.

0:01:46 > 0:01:49Some very gusty winds blowing over

0:01:49 > 0:01:50and down the other side of the Pennines.

0:01:50 > 0:01:53This weather front is going to hang around as we head towards

0:01:53 > 0:01:56the middle of the week, it pushes southwards

0:01:56 > 0:01:58and then starts to push back northwards again.

0:01:58 > 0:02:01That all means that further persistent rain in some places

0:02:01 > 0:02:02through this central slice.

0:02:02 > 0:02:04Brighter conditions,

0:02:04 > 0:02:07somewhat fresher conditions across Northern Ireland and Scotland.

0:02:07 > 0:02:09Quite blustery but somewhat lower temperatures, 10 or 11,

0:02:09 > 0:02:13compared again to the 15 or 16, possibly 17 degrees

0:02:13 > 0:02:15to the south of that weather front.

0:02:15 > 0:02:19As we go towards Thursday, it gets quite complicated.

0:02:19 > 0:02:21We could see a little feature pepping up the rain,

0:02:21 > 0:02:24crossing central parts of the country,

0:02:24 > 0:02:26before that clears through on Thursday,

0:02:26 > 0:02:28somewhat brighter skies following on behind.

0:02:28 > 0:02:32All the while, still that blustery west or south-westerly wind.

0:02:32 > 0:02:35The best of the sunshine across the more southern and eastern areas.

0:02:35 > 0:02:38Another front, yet another front pushing in to the north-west

0:02:38 > 0:02:42with further rain. That weather front is quite important.

0:02:42 > 0:02:46It is a cold front and behind this feature,

0:02:46 > 0:02:50we will start to drag in some notably chillier air.

0:02:50 > 0:02:53There it is, the blue is beginning to spread in,

0:02:53 > 0:02:56across the more northern parts of the UK as we hit the end of the week.

0:02:56 > 0:02:58Not desperately cold by any stretch of the imagination

0:02:58 > 0:03:00but certainly chillier than it has been.

0:03:00 > 0:03:04It will be last to arrive across the south.

0:03:04 > 0:03:07So we have seen 17 or 18 degrees in recent days.

0:03:07 > 0:03:10It won't be as warm as that as we head towards the end of the week.

0:03:10 > 0:03:12Temperatures going back down to normal

0:03:12 > 0:03:14but no sign of anything particularly cold.

0:03:14 > 0:03:18Where the skies clear overnight as we head towards the weekend,

0:03:18 > 0:03:19there could be a touch of frost.

0:03:19 > 0:03:23Some chillier wins next weekend, a frost risk but the probability

0:03:23 > 0:03:27of some more rain spreading in from the west later on in the weekend.

0:03:27 > 0:03:29That's it from me. I'll update you again tomorrow.

0:03:31 > 0:03:33You've been together eight months.

0:03:33 > 0:03:35I wanted to spend the rest of my life with him.

0:03:35 > 0:03:37I love you.

0:03:37 > 0:03:40Alex? Do you know this man?

0:03:40 > 0:03:44People lie, Danny. Are you threatening me?

0:03:44 > 0:03:46Occasionally it's right to be afraid.

0:03:46 > 0:03:49PHONE RINGS

0:03:49 > 0:03:52I don't know what went on in that attic. Neither do you.
