:11:44. > :11:43.The Nato alliance meets every two years.

:11:56. > :11:59.across the eastern flank of Nato, across three Baltic states, as well
:12:00. > :12:05.as eastern Poland. Three to 4000 troops being deployed in response to
:12:06. > :12:11.a Russian threat, Nato says that exist in response to Russia's

:12:15. > :12:18.with the European Union which will focus on everything from maritime
:12:19. > :12:25.controls to cybercrime. But Russia was made the main topic in many of
:12:26. > :12:28.the sessions. -- a new corporation pact. I asked them why they felt it
:12:29. > :12:35.was necessary to deploy troops on the eastern borders. Because we see
:12:36. > :12:38.a more assertive Russia. A Russia that has substantially built up its
:12:39. > :12:45.military capabilities over many years. Which is training its forces
:12:46. > :12:52.in a more aggressive posture. Which has used military force against
:12:53. > :13:01.neighbours. And taken apart of another country, Crimea, and
:13:02. > :13:10.therefore Nato needs to respond. It is responding in a proportionate
:13:11. > :13:14.way. We need political dialogue, as well. A lot of emphasis on
:13:15. > :13:24.solidarity and resolve here among Nato member states. But the US
:13:25. > :13:28.president used this summit to remind the members that they had committed
:13:29. > :13:34.to spending 2% of their GDP on defence. Something not all Nato
:13:35. > :13:41.members are doing now. The majority of allies are still not hitting that
:13:42. > :13:47.2% mark. An obligation we agreed to. We had a candid conversation about
:13:48. > :13:51.this. There is a recognition, given the range of threats we face in the
:13:52. > :13:57.capabilities we need, and everybody has to step up and everybody has to
:13:58. > :14:04.do better. Barack Obama has now left this national football stadium here
:14:05. > :14:08.in Warsaw. Nato leaders will leave this summit one by one. They didn't
:14:09. > :14:11.go away without making another commitment, and that is to the
:14:12. > :14:17.mission which has long been described as a defining mission for
:14:18. > :14:22.the Nato alliance, and that is the involvement in Afghanistan. Many
:14:23. > :14:28.Nato armies pulled out their combat troops in 2013 and 2014, but the US
:14:29. > :14:33.is continuing to maintain 4500 troops. Many Nato countries are
:14:34. > :14:38.still helping with training. When I spoke to Afghanistan's Chief
:14:39. > :14:42.Executive Doctor I asked whether there was relief at a time when
:14:43. > :14:49.Taliban attacks were on the rise. That's true. -- chief Executive
:14:50. > :14:54.officer. But if you put it into context there were times when there

:15:02. > :15:06.the high number of casualties that our people have suffered in

:15:14. > :15:19.the large share of responsibility, is on the soldiers of our own
:15:20. > :15:24.forces. That is a big change since 2002. It has never been like this.
:15:25. > :15:29.So many Afghans have been asking when will this war end. 2015, the
:15:30. > :15:35.highest number of casualties since they were recorded. 15,000 last year
:15:36. > :15:40.and many more this year. That is the unfortunate suffering of our people
:15:41. > :15:49.that has continued. If the security notion has changed worldwide, there
:15:50. > :15:56.is a new phenomena called IS, and we are not immune to that. That brings
:15:57. > :16:00.to an end another Nato summit. Along with other countries who are looking
:16:01. > :16:05.to join, including Jordan and Macedonia. It was a summit where
:16:06. > :16:08.they look East to this new brigade in response to a Russian threat. But
:16:09. > :16:12.it is a threat they say they will deal with with a mixture of
:16:13. > :16:17.deterrence and dialogue. They also looked west to the consequences of
:16:18. > :16:21.Britain deciding to leave the European Union. There was some
:16:22. > :16:26.anxiety over that. But also anxiety as Nato looks south, not just to the
:16:27. > :16:29.continuing challenges in Afghanistan, but the rise of the
:16:30. > :16:34.Islamic State, the efforts to stop it in Iraq and Syria. It also brings
:16:35. > :16:39.to an end our coverage of this Warsaw summit. For me and our teams
:16:40. > :16:40.at the national football stadium in Warsaw, it is goodbye and back to

:20:54. > :20:58.many people here that day, as many people in America today expressed
:20:59. > :21:07.frustrations of what we saw on the videos earlier this week. Two videos
:21:08. > :21:12.showing point-blank shootings that resulted in two black men dying. I
:21:13. > :21:17.think the frustrations were pretty high this week. We were all trying

:21:26. > :21:31.meetings later this week. But, you know, unfortunately later that
:21:32. > :21:35.day... I'm interested in what you make of the shootings this week of
:21:36. > :21:40.the five officers, and the two black men who were shot dead early in the
:21:41. > :21:50.week. Of course, we are all saddened. To ask it was a very sad
:21:51. > :21:54.day -- to us it was a very sad day when the shootings happened. We just
:21:55. > :22:02.could not believe what was happening before our eyes. None of us could
:22:03. > :22:09.believe it. But... On the other hand we don't see it as an attack on
:22:10. > :22:13.police personally. It was an attack on this system of oppression that
:22:14. > :22:20.many people feel has unjustly treated them over the years. It was
:22:21. > :22:24.not an attack on police, it was an attack on an unjust system where you
:22:25. > :22:33.have seen almost 600 police shootings so far this year. We were

:22:37. > :22:42.were just common, working people like all of us, trying to take care
:22:43. > :22:50.of their families. On the other hand we were grieving and frustrated by

:23:14. > :23:20.Let's get some sports now. What a performance by Serena Williams

:23:35. > :23:38.Ruthless determination has made Serena Williams and relentlessly

:23:49. > :23:52.Angelique Kerber she faced an opponent who had beaten her in the

:24:39. > :24:41.break point in the match. When the American gained the second set
:24:42. > :24:48.advantage there no coming back. Irresistible, majestic. In a class
