I do!

We grew up together.

And it started about ten or 11 years ago, actually.

We started off with a dream in our head and a quarter in our pockets,

-standing at the end of a half mile cotton row.

But we was your typical cotton choppers and tractor drivers.

You got to get out there, I mean, they pulled Elvis Presley

and Jerry Lee Lewis, Chuck Berry, Fats Domino, Little Richard,

you know, a lot of people out of the South.

And we said, "Wow! These people think it's all right!"

And that's a way to get out from chopping cotton.

That's a way to get out from having to drive a tractor,

working for the other man all the time.

Which we hated, you know. We hated working for the other man.

We used to have farms of our own, which in times of natural calamity

the big executive powers would come down, instead of helping us,

pulled the rug out from under us, instead of giving us a helping hand.

And that's what made us be something besides farmers,

and turned us into rock and rollers.

It's that cause inside.
