It's been another golden day for Team GB at the Rio Olympics,

with Liam Heath winning the men's 200-metre Kayak -

Britain's women's hockey team have been celebrating their first ever

Olympic gold, and in the past half an hour in the women's triathlon

There's disappointment though for Tom Daley, who has failed

Andy Swiss has been watching the action.

Britain's golds have come in many different ways. Now for paddle

power. In lane five, Liam Heath, a whirlwind of arms, and over 200

metres he timed it to perfection. After silver in the ? gold in the

single. What a Games to remember. Absolutely incredible. It's been in

my mind every single day for the last four years. And then I felt

last-second. His opponent could scarcely believe it and neither

could Lutalo Mohammed. If you think you have seen how painful sport can

be, think again. I'm so distraught. I'm so sorry to the people that

stayed up late to watch and cheer me on. I let them down at the last

second. There was rather more to smile about for Britain's women's

Sprink Rita -- relay team, as they took bronze. But there was only one

centre of attention, Usain Bolt, as part of the Jamaican quartet, could

he make it three sprint titles with three consecutive Games? The answer

was as glorious as it was inevitable. Bolt called it the

triple trouble, the perfect end to a flawless Olympic career. I look it

up -- I look at it as an accomplishment, I enjoy these

moments, it's beautiful, I'm proud of myself. So the very fondest of

farewells, nine Olympic titles, the ultimate achievement from the

ultimate athlete. Yes, a great night for Usain Bolt. Not such a great day

for Britain's Tom Daley, because he has failed to qualify for the final

of the diving. In fact committee finished last in his semifinal. Now

that is a big shock. Tom Daley won medal at this event in London 2012.

He won't be winning a medal here. There's more Olympic

action ahead this evening. Later, Mo Farah runs

in the 5000 metre final. And in the next hour the London 2012

boxing champion Nicola Adams will defend her women's

flyweight title. She too will take gold

if she beats her French Our Sports Correspondent Natalie

operation that killed Osama Bin Laden.

Washington. A father has drowned

and his two-year-old daughter is in a serious condition

after a family of five were swept off rocks and into the sea

at Newquay in Cornwall. Lifeguards helped rescue the family,

but the man died later in hospital. Our correspondent Andrew Plant

is at Fistral Beach in Newquay. -- Amy Cole joint is. What do we

know? It's a tragic incident. The family, believed to be from Surrey,

were holidaying in Newquay. Huge wave came and watched them off the

rocks. Helicopters, lifeboats and the nearby lifeguard were scrambled

to rescue them when they got its trouble. Two of the children managed

to get back onto the rocks and their mother was rescued using an RNLI ski

jet. They were all treated for minor injuries. Meanwhile the father and a

young child were flown to the hospital, the main hospital in true

row. Lifeguards carried out CPR on the man before he was airlifted to

hospital, but very sadly he died from his injuries later on that

evening. His two-year-old daughter we are told was recovered by

lifeboat and she remains in a critical condition in hospital. IQ.
