celebrating winning its first seat in Scotland

in the European elections. Of the six seats up for grabs,

the SNP won two. They also had the biggest share

of the vote, although it's Labour also kept its two seats

and saw its share of The Conservatives retained

their one seat with UKIP had

the fourth biggest number of votes after seeing their share double

since 2009, giving them their first Their gain was at the expense

of the Liberal Democrats who came sixth below the Scottish Greens

and lost their seat Here's our political editor,

voted Scottish Conservative in the European elections since 1989. The
