New security measures for electronic devices have been introduced

:00:00.:00:00.

Helping vulnerable children or contravening human rights?

:00:07.:00:09.

The government's plans for a named guardian for every child

:00:10.:00:11.

Former Rangers owner David Murray wins his battle against the taxman.

:00:12.:00:19.

We meet the World Champion cyclist riding for Scotland

:00:20.:00:23.

And we're live around the country tonight.

:00:24.:00:34.

Blue skies, bright sunshine and some of the world 's best golfers. Join

:00:35.:00:40.

me in Aberdeen to preview the Scottish open.

:00:41.:00:46.

Join me in doors by the banks of Loch Ness when I will be bringing

:00:47.:00:49.

you a full weather forecast by the end of the programme.

:00:50.:00:59.

A new law designed to help vulnerable children

:01:00.:01:02.

by assigning every child in the country a named guardian is

:01:03.:01:05.

The idea is for a named person, like a teacher or health visitor to

:01:06.:01:11.

look out for children's welfare, but campaigners believe it intrudes

:01:12.:01:15.

on the private lives of families and contravenes their human rights.

:01:16.:01:20.

Taking their case to court. The Macintosh family have four children.

:01:21.:01:35.

They are all under the age of eight and they say they are extremely

:01:36.:01:41.

happy together. They are concerned at the impact a named person could

:01:42.:01:45.

have on them. If we have very different ideas on how to bring up

:01:46.:01:50.

our children or educate our children or anything like that and the named

:01:51.:01:54.

person has different views then who gets the final say? Is it the named

:01:55.:02:01.

person or the parent? The legislation was passed in February

:02:02.:02:05.

for every young person from birth to the age of 18 to have a named person

:02:06.:02:09.

like a teacher or health visitor to look after their welfare. The reason

:02:10.:02:14.

why this family and other campaigners have come here today is

:02:15.:02:18.

because they believe the named person scheme goes against the

:02:19.:02:21.

European Convention of human rights and will diminish their role as

:02:22.:02:25.

parents and their rights to a private family life. The Scottish

:02:26.:02:30.

Government says nothing in the legislation changes parental rights

:02:31.:02:34.

and responsibilities and that the policy is already operating

:02:35.:02:38.

successfully in a number of areas across Scotland. Highland Council

:02:39.:02:43.

has piloted a system in the last four years. One example would be a

:02:44.:02:47.

mother who was worried about the behaviour of her three or

:02:48.:02:50.

four-year-old and she was starting to worry that the child was being

:02:51.:02:54.

labelled as a bad child. She went to see the health visitor who, as the

:02:55.:03:01.

named person, with the consent of the mother, was able to talk to

:03:02.:03:04.

specialists and we got a diagnosis that there was a hearing impairment.

:03:05.:03:09.

The Scottish Government are confident the legislation is

:03:10.:03:12.

complying with the European Convention on human rights and the

:03:13.:03:15.

scheme will start in 2016. The question now is whether the court

:03:16.:03:19.

will grant a judicial review. The former Rangers owner

:03:20.:03:26.

Sir David Murray has won Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs

:03:27.:03:28.

has lost it's appeal against an earlier decision that

:03:29.:03:32.

the Murray group of companies was not liable for

:03:33.:03:34.

a multi million pound tax bill for Our reporter Richard

:03:35.:03:37.

Wilson joins me now: Richard, what's

:03:38.:03:42.

the background to this case. HMRC claimed tax was due on the

:03:43.:03:53.

benefit trusts which was a scheme where money was paid into

:03:54.:03:57.

independent trusts as part of a bonus scheme and employees could

:03:58.:04:00.

draw the money down in the form of loans. It was a very high profile

:04:01.:04:05.

case because Rangers were part of the group at that time and leading

:04:06.:04:09.

players and directors benefited from the scheme and a number of English

:04:10.:04:15.

football clubs use these as well. In November 2012 the first tribunal

:04:16.:04:21.

ruled that tax was not due on these schemes and the HMRC immediately

:04:22.:04:25.

appealed that ends today another tribunal has dismissed that appeal.

:04:26.:04:28.

They have essentially endorsed the ruling that no tax was due.

:04:29.:04:35.

Is there any reaction? De Mari group released a statement that

:04:36.:04:37.

essentially expresses satisfaction with the judgement.

:04:38.:04:53.

HMRC have yet to release a statement but we know that they will die just

:04:54.:04:59.

the judgement in fuel and then decide what their next course of

:05:00.:05:02.

action could be but they can appeal to a higher authority said the case

:05:03.:05:06.

may not be over yet. Thank you very much.

:05:07.:05:09.

The UK Government has increased airline security for passengers

:05:10.:05:11.

All passengers flying into or out of the UK have been advised to

:05:12.:05:16.

ensure electronic devices in hand luggage are sufficiently

:05:17.:05:18.

But Glasgow and Edinburgh Airports say the implementation of

:05:19.:05:21.

the new measures has not resulted in lengthy queues or any disruption.

:05:22.:05:30.

You're watching Reporting Scotland from the BBC.

:05:31.:05:31.

Still to come on tonight's programme:

:05:32.:05:33.

Just what were a group of elite Commandos doing

:05:34.:05:36.

In the sport: We hear from the defending open golf champion as he

:05:37.:05:48.

prepares to defend its Scottish open title.

:05:49.:05:53.

Big-name, wrong game. Find out what this international sporting star is

:05:54.:05:55.

up to a little bit later. The campaign to defend the

:05:56.:06:02.

United Kingdom says it's had thousands more volunteers signing up

:06:03.:06:04.

to help over the last few months. The grassroots movement within

:06:05.:06:07.

Better referendumTogether has always been smaller than that of

:06:08.:06:13.

Yes Scotland. But as September draws

:06:14.:06:15.

closer that is changing. Our Referendum Correspondent Laura

:06:16.:06:17.

Bicker has been out with some Hit the ones on the right first.

:06:18.:06:28.

Another backstreet, another battle. To rein in Edinburgh can be tricky

:06:29.:06:33.

to negotiate and clambering through close is can prove to be a

:06:34.:06:40.

challenge. Is that it? Campaigning is new to this group of students but

:06:41.:06:43.

they still grab any opportunity to chat to boaters. The funding from

:06:44.:06:54.

the central government and things are guaranteed by the central

:06:55.:06:59.

government. This man is pounding pavements several days of the week.

:07:00.:07:04.

I was nervous at the star but now I really enjoy it and you get a

:07:05.:07:07.

discussion with the issues and you meet like-minded people who feel the

:07:08.:07:11.

same way as you do it and feel passionately about this. In off the

:07:12.:07:16.

street and onto the phone. Do you know how you might be voting? You

:07:17.:07:23.

have no time, OK. I am a volunteer with Better Together in Edinburgh...

:07:24.:07:29.

This is where the team have lists of voters to call and questions to ask.

:07:30.:07:34.

We rank them from strong yeses to strong nose and undecided. We ask

:07:35.:07:40.

them about their main concerns so we can give them more information on

:07:41.:07:44.

things like currency in Europe and pensions which is a big one. A

:07:45.:07:51.

number of people have turned up tonight for the first time so they

:07:52.:07:57.

need a crash course. Betty gave up her American citizenship to live in

:07:58.:08:01.

Britain. She decided to act when she realised how many people were voting

:08:02.:08:09.

yes. People that feel strongly about staying in the UK and were not

:08:10.:08:17.

feeling that there is a strong enough message being sent out so I

:08:18.:08:22.

thought that I should do something to help it.

:08:23.:08:24.

Do you think the campaign has stepped up a bit? I think it

:08:25.:08:29.

definitely has. The Better Together campaign has evolved in the last few

:08:30.:08:33.

months with more people motivated to take part. It is a pragmatic and

:08:34.:08:38.

purposeful movement whose sites are firmly set. The referendum is now

:08:39.:08:40.

just two months away. A 19-year-old man has been seriously

:08:41.:08:46.

injured after falling from the roof He was taken to the city's

:08:47.:08:49.

Royal Infirmary after falling from the Blythswood Hotel onto

:08:50.:08:53.

West George Street at The hotel said he was

:08:54.:08:55.

an employee who had been a guest of a former employee who was staying

:08:56.:08:59.

in the Penthouse suite. The hotel said it believed

:09:00.:09:02.

the incident was an accident and there was no suggestion

:09:03.:09:04.

of anything suspicious. A look at other stories

:09:05.:09:09.

from the across the country: Shetland looks likely to have a

:09:10.:09:23.

large wind farm built on its main island. A court ruling today has

:09:24.:09:27.

given it the go-ahead. Developers say it will bring ?32 million a year

:09:28.:09:32.

into the local economy. A recycling company that caused a

:09:33.:09:36.

blaze at its perfect yard that could be seen for 20 miles has been fined

:09:37.:09:41.

?6,000. The city 's sick Sheriff Court said the fire was caused by

:09:42.:09:47.

batteries dubbed by staff. Thieves who stole a lorry carrying

:09:48.:09:51.

?20,000 worth of shortbread were prevented from making a quick

:09:52.:09:55.

getaway when they filled it with cleaning fluid instead of diesel.

:09:56.:09:59.

They made it half a mile from the lorry's base before it broke down.

:10:00.:10:05.

An Aberdeen Nursery has been told to make a significant improvement or

:10:06.:10:10.

face further action. They care Inspectorate said the nursery needed

:10:11.:10:15.

to address several issues including children getting to sleep when tired

:10:16.:10:18.

and providing food and drinks when needed.

:10:19.:10:23.

A museum commemorating the jute industry and Dundee is to undergo a

:10:24.:10:29.

?3 million expansion. The project to restore the me -- remaining

:10:30.:10:33.

buildings is due to be completed next summer. Thousands worked in the

:10:34.:10:38.

jute industry in the 19th and 20th centuries. The museum we have at the

:10:39.:10:43.

moment was only partially restored and it left behind Miller and the

:10:44.:10:47.

batching rooms and we will restore that end you will have a complete

:10:48.:10:50.

courtyard mill building restored which is one aspect of it that is

:10:51.:10:53.

fantastic. That will be there. A look at other stories

:10:54.:10:58.

from the across the country: Just three years after taking up

:10:59.:11:01.

comptetitive cycling Katie Archibald She's now part of

:11:02.:11:03.

the British elite cycling programme, but she'll be representing Scotland

:11:04.:11:06.

during the Commonwealth Games where she'll represent her country

:11:07.:11:09.

in five events. Our Games reporter Jane

:11:10.:11:10.

Lewis went to meet her. Katie Archibald has taken cycling by

:11:11.:11:39.

storm. Old dad, that is perfect. She is a poster girl for Team Scotland

:11:40.:11:43.

and big things are expected from the cyclist with the unique style. I

:11:44.:11:55.

have natural brown hair but it was not doing it for me so I keep trying

:11:56.:11:59.

and I will eventually find a colour that I feel is just right. I have

:12:00.:12:09.

got elephants on the back of my leg. I have a children's story on my arm

:12:10.:12:16.

and an image that comes from a quote on my back and there could be

:12:17.:12:19.

something else before the Commonwealth Games but we will wait

:12:20.:12:25.

and see. The girls I train with every day, eyelid with one of the

:12:26.:12:30.

top Welsh riders so it will be exciting because we know each other

:12:31.:12:33.

well. It will make it a better rivalry really under tougher

:12:34.:12:40.

competition. My mum is unbelievably optimistic

:12:41.:12:42.

and she believes I could take over the world if I want to and always

:12:43.:12:47.

pushed me to do whatever I wanted and my dad is the other side of the

:12:48.:12:50.

spectrum who tries to be realistic and says not to get ahead of

:12:51.:12:54.

yourself and not everyone makes it and to have a plan B. Luckily

:12:55.:12:59.

somewhere in the middle is good advice and I try and mix it up as

:13:00.:13:05.

best I can. Good luck to her.

:13:06.:13:09.

Last night we told you about another Games hopeful,

:13:10.:13:12.

world champion bowler Paul Foster who'd had his bowls stolen.

:13:13.:13:14.

The three bowls disappeared on Monday from the Troon Portland

:13:15.:13:18.

They were part of a set he'd been practising with since April.

:13:19.:13:22.

All we know is they've been recovered by police,

:13:23.:13:24.

It's not often some of the country's elite forces are

:13:25.:13:33.

on the roof of BBC headquarters here in Glasgow thankfully.

:13:34.:13:35.

But tonight a group of Commandos are using our building to display just

:13:36.:13:38.

Our reporter Laura Maxwell takes up the story.

:13:39.:13:49.

Hanging on by a really big thread. It can be a ropey briskness jumping

:13:50.:13:57.

off buildings but that is exactly what these Royal Marines are doing

:13:58.:14:02.

on our rooftop this evening. It is all part of the European challenge

:14:03.:14:07.

to mark the 350th anniversary of the court. We have got six Royal Marines

:14:08.:14:15.

who embarked on February on a ski run in Norway then they sailed to

:14:16.:14:19.

Spain and they cycled through Spain to France and England and Canute

:14:20.:14:23.

across the Channel and they are embarking on the final phase which

:14:24.:14:26.

is a run around the UK and tonight they are coming through Glasgow. It

:14:27.:14:31.

is interesting because I always thought of zip wire as a wire but

:14:32.:14:36.

this is a rope. Absolutely. It is the old rope we always used when the

:14:37.:14:40.

commandos were formed in World War II and this kind of commando slide

:14:41.:14:44.

forms part of our commander tests today. You have talked about skiing

:14:45.:14:50.

and flailing and using this slide which all sounds like fun but it is

:14:51.:14:55.

something these guys will put to use during their careers. We are

:14:56.:14:59.

amphibious troops and specialists in Arctic and mountain warfare so all

:15:00.:15:12.

of these skills are there and ready for any challenges that might come

:15:13.:15:15.

our way. Later on the Marines will be abseiling down the science centre

:15:16.:15:18.

tower before speed marching up Scotland's three highest peaks.

:15:19.:15:19.

Astonishing. I cannot say anything, just astonishing.

:15:20.:15:22.

That is one way to leave the building every day!

:15:23.:15:29.

Some of the world's best golfers tee off tomorrow in Aberdeen

:15:30.:15:32.

Defending champion Phil Mickleson, Rory McIlroy and Justin Rose

:15:33.:15:35.

among those competing for a first prize of ?500,000.

:15:36.:15:37.

They have been playing at the Royal Aberdeen golf club since 1780 survey

:15:38.:15:50.

have had a bit of time to get ready. It is the first time that the club

:15:51.:15:56.

will have hosted the Scottish open. 12 months ago it was staged at the

:15:57.:16:01.

Castle Stuart near Inverness but with the world 's best golfers here

:16:02.:16:06.

at this historical course there is a real sense that Royal Aberdeen and

:16:07.:16:10.

the Scottish open at entering a new era. The world 's sixth oldest golf

:16:11.:16:14.

course has seen a fair bit over the years but they are now ready to make

:16:15.:16:19.

some new history. Are you all set? Yes, I think so. The big names are

:16:20.:16:25.

here but a little unsure of what is about to unfold. I do not really

:16:26.:16:30.

know. I would love to say I expect to get into contention and see how

:16:31.:16:34.

my game feels under pressure on this sort of golf course but I am just

:16:35.:16:39.

going to go out there and play the best that I can. This man has seen

:16:40.:16:44.

it all before, Phil Mickelson is majestic when he won 12 months ago

:16:45.:16:50.

and now as the defending champion he has a strange request. Tomorrow the

:16:51.:16:53.

weather is supposed to be terrible and I hope it is because I would

:16:54.:16:56.

love to get out in that stuff and be able to play and play in that stuff

:16:57.:17:01.

I never get a chance to back home and actually have started to play

:17:02.:17:04.

pretty well in it over the years. The weather may prove a factor this

:17:05.:17:08.

week but keeping calm amid the rising storm of Ryder Cup

:17:09.:17:12.

qualification is key for some. I do not need to do well here at all

:17:13.:17:17.

because I have six or seven events to do well in so there is no

:17:18.:17:20.

pressure, it is just another tournament. Something new here even

:17:21.:17:24.

for Scottish galleries and those who may feel they have seen it all

:17:25.:17:29.

before. I will be 81 next birthday and it makes me feel young again

:17:30.:17:33.

and, as I say, I have never played golf in my life but I may take it

:17:34.:17:38.

up, I am not too young. I think you are experienced enough to play! If

:17:39.:17:42.

experience is key this week, this man may be the one to beat.

:17:43.:17:49.

If he is the one to beat we will see how he gets on tomorrow morning at

:17:50.:17:55.

around 8:20 a.m.. Ian Poulter, Rory McIlroy and Phil Mickelson all out

:17:56.:17:59.

in those first 20 minutes. Stephen Gallacher, Lee Westwood and Justin

:18:00.:18:04.

Rose out later at 1pm. The forecast, the weather that Phil

:18:05.:18:08.

Mickelson wanted, he will be a little disappointed. There is a

:18:09.:18:12.

change, it is to remain dry with a 20 mile an hour wind from the North

:18:13.:18:17.

West. That should sort out the men from the boys here. Thank you very

:18:18.:18:20.

much, you will be all right with that tank top on, I am sure!

:18:21.:18:30.

The first Scots woman to win an Olympic swimming medal has dies

:18:31.:18:33.

Helen Gordon, who later became known as Elenor, won bronze

:18:34.:18:36.

Two years earlier she won the first of three

:18:37.:18:40.

If you thought Brazil were bad in their 7-1 thumping by Germany

:18:41.:18:44.

Don't worry he hasn't signed for a Scottish club.

:18:45.:18:50.

He's a double Olympic champion in the 400 metre hurdles.

:18:51.:18:52.

He's here for the Diamond League athletics at the home of

:18:53.:18:54.

I have seen pictures of the stadium and it is massive and gorgeous so I

:18:55.:19:04.

am excited to be able to get on the track and warm it up, so to speak,

:19:05.:19:09.

for the Commonwealth Games, since we are not participating. Then I will

:19:10.:19:10.

go home and watch it on the telly. He won Silver at the London Olympics

:19:11.:19:15.

two years ago, now Scots sailor Luke Patience has his eye on Gold

:19:16.:19:20.

at the Rio Olympics in 2016. Rhona McLeod travelled to the Isle

:19:21.:19:23.

of Wight to join him in the Round It is a big change for Luke Patience

:19:24.:19:37.

to be at the helm of a ship with a dozen of the crew. He has the chance

:19:38.:19:44.

to race in the iconic round the Island race which has a massive

:19:45.:19:54.

appeal. It is 6:30am and there are 16,000 sailors and 1500 boats with

:19:55.:20:02.

50 miles to go and we are off. Right now we are exactly halfway between

:20:03.:20:08.

London 2012 and Rio 2016 so you must be very busy. For me it is all about

:20:09.:20:11.

who wants it more and who was willing to work harder and make the

:20:12.:20:15.

extra inches to make the difference on the day. You wanted it very much

:20:16.:20:19.

in London, does that whet your appetite even more? Absolutely.

:20:20.:20:24.

Coming so close to winning has just spurred me on ever more and I feel

:20:25.:20:29.

more dangerous man, I feel more dangerous man and I am hungrier, am

:20:30.:20:35.

definitely hungrier. Luke Patience sales with a double world champion.

:20:36.:20:41.

He is a motivating and engaging person and that definitely as it

:20:42.:20:45.

because it makes the campaign easier when hard things have to be sad. I

:20:46.:20:49.

am more laid back and relaxed. We are probably a mix of both a us

:20:50.:20:55.

which works well together. Our Olympic gold medal is shining bright

:20:56.:20:59.

for us. Luke Patience says that racing in London with a home crowd

:21:00.:21:03.

energised his performance so is can the Scots at the Commonwealth Games

:21:04.:21:10.

expect the same? If it is anything like London it is a fairly

:21:11.:21:14.

unforgettable experience and it will just give the athletes that extra

:21:15.:21:19.

push and whatever happens it will just feel all that more special for

:21:20.:21:24.

them. I think only good things are coming and we may see a fair few

:21:25.:21:31.

personal bests kicking about. That is the sport and I will now go and

:21:32.:21:35.

apologise to fill. The Marines are offering you the

:21:36.:21:43.

rope! Tonight on Scotland 2014 we are

:21:44.:21:47.

asking what would be Clyde built in an independent Scotland. Unions are

:21:48.:21:50.

demanding to know what would happen to defence contracts in a yes vote.

They say the Clyde is not just the best place to build the warships the

:21:56.:21:58.

Royal Navy needs but it is the only place they could be built and it all

:21:59.:22:02.

matters because 20,000 jobs are in the balance. That is at 10:30pm on

:22:03.:22:04.

BBC Two tonight. The Queen's Baton Relay was back

:22:05.:22:07.

briefly on the mainland after travelling the length

:22:08.:22:09.

of the Western Isles yesterday. It caught up with communities

:22:10.:22:11.

from Ullapool to Thurso. Well, we have just arrived in this

:22:12.:22:22.

village and you can see the baton has just arrived and the kids are

:22:23.:22:25.

getting their hands on it. It is a stunning place and it feels as

:22:26.:22:29.

though the whole town has turned out. There are a thousand people in

:22:30.:22:33.

the town and the area. De baton arrived on the mainland this morning

:22:34.:22:36.

and it had been in the Outer Hebrides but it arrived this morning

:22:37.:22:41.

and had a great reception as it was piped off by the mascot and it went

:22:42.:22:46.

through this morning. I am now joined by Tom and Louise who have

:22:47.:22:51.

been taking part. Louise you seem to be organising what is happening

:22:52.:22:55.

here. It is great to see the baton. I would like to take credit for the

:22:56.:22:59.

organising but in an event like this it is absolutely massive. Tom, you

:23:00.:23:05.

will be carrying the battered later on. I am a coach with Ross County

:23:06.:23:09.

athletics club and I have been with them for eight years and it is a

:23:10.:23:14.

non-dash-mac order to be nominated and the honour is more in the

:23:15.:23:16.

nomination than the actual doing of it. -- honour. The sun may have gone

:23:17.:23:27.

that there is no dampening the enthusiast for the crowds. We have a

:23:28.:23:35.

local athletics star here who ran for Scotland in the 1986 Games. She

:23:36.:23:44.

was 400 metres hurdler. She has handed over the button to James. Let

:23:45.:23:51.

us have a quick word. How was that? It was fantastic. Absolutely

:23:52.:23:55.

amazing. It was so good to see everyone out there and enjoying

:23:56.:23:58.

themselves on being able to touch the battered and just be a part of

:23:59.:24:03.

it. Your experiences from 86, does this bring them flooding back?

:24:04.:24:07.

Absolutely brings them flooding back. All the excitement and the

:24:08.:24:12.

expectations and we are hoping for a really good Commonwealth Games now

:24:13.:24:15.

for all of the athletes. Thank you very much. The baton is in Thurso

:24:16.:24:21.

and then it will be off to Orkney. If you want to catch up with it you

:24:22.:24:28.

can follow it tomorrow. Kirsty has her jacket on and I

:24:29.:24:31.

wonder what that means. She is on the shores of Loch Ness.

:24:32.:24:38.

Thank you very much. Yes, we are just on the outskirts of Inverness,

:24:39.:24:43.

the capital of the Highlands and the Queen's baton has been journeying

:24:44.:24:46.

through the Highlands today and it has reached Caithness and enjoying

:24:47.:24:52.

fine weather as it did so. We are looking mainly at it staying dry

:24:53.:24:57.

with spells brightness and sunshine to end the day. For the overnight

:24:58.:25:01.

period it stays predominantly dry and we will be under the influence

:25:02.:25:06.

of clear skies in the West. Further east it stays fairly cloudy and

:25:07.:25:10.

there will be misty and murky conditions around especially near

:25:11.:25:14.

coastal areas. There will be rain the coastal areas. Temperatures will

:25:15.:25:24.

hold up around 10 degrees and perhaps a bit lower under clearer

:25:25.:25:29.

skies for the West and the wind will remain light. Tomorrow it is an

:25:30.:25:35.

east/ west split. Western areas see the best of the weather here and it

:25:36.:25:40.

will feel warm as well. Further east always that bit cloudy with misty

:25:41.:25:44.

and murky conditions around and feeling rather cool. Taking a closer

:25:45.:25:49.

look tomorrow afternoon at around 4pm in Dumfries and Galloway and in

:25:50.:25:55.

most of the Glasgow area it will be dry with fine spells of sunshine.

:25:56.:26:00.

The sunshine with temperatures peaking at 23 or 24. Another fine

:26:01.:26:05.

day to come across the West Coast and it will feel pleasantly warm in

:26:06.:26:11.

the sunshine. More cloud across the extreme north coast and into the

:26:12.:26:14.

Northern Isles with some rain around and misty and misty and murky

:26:15.:26:18.

conditions here. In eastern coastal areas it will be fairly cloudy as

:26:19.:26:24.

well with spirits and spots of rain especially coastal areas and the

:26:25.:26:28.

misty and murky and cool conditions are continuing as well. Tomorrow we

:26:29.:26:33.

hold on to the east /west split with the best of the weather found in the

:26:34.:26:38.

West. Cloudier and cooler in the East. The weather friend continues

:26:39.:26:44.

to push its way into western areas so it is a predominantly cloudy day

:26:45.:26:47.

with some rain around in the east and the best of the weather in the

:26:48.:26:54.

extreme West Coast. Thank you. A reminder of the news: A

8pm and then the late news. Enjoy your evening. Goodbye.
