The Chancellor George Osborne has promised a timetable for more powers

for Scotland on the day a new poll suggests that the Yes campaign is

But the First Minister says the offer is too little, too late,

and indicates problems in the Better Together campaign.

The pressure is rising as the vote nears. George Osborne gave an

announcement saying the timetable is imminent. We will see a plan of

action to give more powers to Scotland, more spending powers, more

powers over the welfare state, and that will be put into effect the

moment they with a no vote. The Yes campaign so it is too little, too

late. It shows the chaos and disintegration of the no campaign.

If you were serious, you would do it before people voted as opposed to

after many people voted. This is a reaction to the movement on the

ground. Remember when the three prounion parties make their joint

offer this summer? More fiscal powers guaranteed, but there have

been no details says. It is unclear as to what else the no camp is

offering. It seems the only new thing on the table is one further

devolution will be discussed. A new poll in the Sunday Times indicates

the Yes campaign is in the need for the first time. But they another

poll indicates they are still behind. -- but another poll

indicates they are still behind. We cannot be entirely sure how far, if

at all, the Yes camp have progressed. Most people seem to

suggest that the Yes side are doing as well as they always have, if not

better. There is still considerable uncertainty. The Better Together

thinks that today's poll is a wake-up call to voters. Scotland

says it is still the underdog. More than 700,000 postal votes have

already been dispatched. Many have made their choice. With just tended

to go before the vote, with the offer of more powers if that is what

it is, really make any difference -- with just ten days to go.

Police in Clydebank are appealing for information after two

Convicted murderer Malcolm Webster is making another attempt to clear

his name. He's asked the Scottish Criminal Cases Review Commission to

look into his conviction and 30-year sentence. Webster was jailed for

killing his wife Claire Morris in a staged car crash in Aberdeenshire

ten years ago and for the attempted murder of his second wife Felicity

their European qualifying campaign in less than an hour. They take on

the world champions Germany in Dortmund. Alasdair Lamont is there.

The Tartan Army are very much looking forward to this. There is

renewed optimism in their ranks. They can finally make this a

success. There is a quiet belief among the Scots is. I think we have

more than that about us. It is a new campaign follows. We are in a good

place right now. It is important we do it when it counts. The world

champions are a huge threat to Scotland's unbeaten run, which

searches back six games. The challenge facing the German

superstars is one that Scotland are reaching to take.

and it will continue to do so tonight for some places. That will

fizzle and faint, leaving most of those with a jolly night.

it is a cloudy start. Still some patchy rain, but it will clear skies

will brighten. Clad bubbling up a wee bit for the afternoon, but not
