It's time for the news where you are.

Good evening. Scottish Water has admitted a water

main in West Lothian which has burst for the second time in a week

is not fit for purpose. Around 20 homes on the Wester

Inch Estate in Bathgate were flooded last night.

Huw Williams reports. Cleaning up this afternoon after a

water main burst flooding houses for the second time in four days. Roads

turned into rivers, houses and cars turned into islands, the 27 inch

pipe fractured on Wednesday and again last night. It is a real bad

state. There is loads of damage. The whole floor is wrecked. This is the

second time in a week. Going back to check on mum and dad's house. There

was people running about everywhere, trying to get their cars out of the

way. The water was flowing quicker this time. A bit of community

spirit, everyone was trying to help each other, try to clear the water.

Around 150 residents gathered at a local school to hear the latest.

Scottish Water admitted their pipe was not fit for purpose. It is 45

years old but pipes can last longer than that. We do not know yet what

the cause of the failure is. We need to do a full investigation but in

the meantime, we have taken away the risk of this happening again by

isolating the pipe and our goal is to take away any risk of this

happening again. After three floods in four years, two of them in the

past four days, locals will be hoping that happens.

amputee football to Scotland for the first time.

Finding Your Feet held its first training session at the club's

Firhill complex in Glasgow this afternoon.

Amputee Scots were having to travel more than 150 miles for a game.

Glasgow Film Festival believes this year's audience figures

More than 42,000 admissions have been counted so far.

Organisers partly credit star guests such as Richard Gere.

He attended today's UK premiere of his film,

Time Out Of Mind, in which he plays a homeless man in New York.

It took me 12 years to make this movie and I am deeply proud of the

movie as a movie, but I also think it can change attitudes about our

homeless brothers and sisters, so I am really happy whenever it is shown

in this serious environment, it might actually change things.

High pressure is pulling away and we have a weather front pushing in from

the west. It is not with us yet, most places will be dry tonight.

Away from the West Coast, it does turn slightly milder and rain

tomorrow morning. That will work its weight used with this across the

country. It will be light and patchy, parts of eastern Scotland

will stay dry but a damper and breezy day with southerly winds

touching gale force at times. Overnight into Tuesday, the rain

turns heavy, particularly for south-west Scotland. The main rain

band clears and then it is bright spells and blustery showers for the
