Scotland's party leaders have been back

on the campaign trail after the last televised leaders' debate.

It was the question of a second independence referendum that saw

the liveliest exchanges, with each party accusing each other

No politician has the right to stand in the way of the democratic wishes

of the Scottish people. That question back on the lips of the

leaders today, and they blame game over who wants to keep the debate

going. It's the side that won that referendum, the

no side, who are raising it time and time again. Before the referendum, I

remember conservatives and Labour Party politicians saying they had no

fear of a referendum and bring it on. Now they seem infuriated at the

question that Scotland will consider it again. It is the SNP and Nicola

Sturgeon who are determined to keep us in the arguments of the past.

Let's focus on the future and how we can use the new powers of the

parliament to use the richest 1% to pay their share. The Conservatives

and the Lib Dems say it is the SNP serving up uncertainty. It isn't an

acceptable for the first Minister to say she can wake up in the morning,

see an opinion poll she likes, and take us back

to the debate and the discord we had with the referendum. People are

angry that 18 months after the referendum, which was supposed to be

the biggest democratic experience of a lifetime, the SNP don't think it's

any good any longer and they want to have another

campaign, starting in a few weeks' time.

have been doing in the election. It is not a surprise. Scotland will

only become independent if that is what a majority of people want.

There are many issues for people to ponder the election. We have heard

about tax, education and other. Issues This will be the first

Hollywood vote since the independence referendum and the

exchanges suggested is an issue that divides and excites the parties.

The party leader in Scotland, David Coburn, has dismissed

man died in police custody at the weekend.

The Police Investigations and Review Commissioner has been

asked by prosecutors to look into the circumstances leading up

to the death of Steven Chesney in Motherwell on Sunday.

Airbus Helicopters has lifted its recommendation

that its H225 Super Puma helicopter be grounded.

It claims initial evidence suggests there is no link

between Friday's crash and two in the North Sea in 2012.

to find survivors. There were none from the 13 occupants. One of those

killed was this 41-year-old from Aberdeenshire. His family called him

a loving husband and devoted father and say they were devastated by his

death. Super Pumas are used in many of the thousands of flights that

take workers to the oil platforms every year. There has been

logistical headaches. Offshore workers are being ferried using

other helicopter models but the company using the crash helicopter,

CHC, said it is too early to assign blame. It is too early to speculate

on the reasons for the accident. We will work closely with the regulator

and manufacturers to ensure we find hopefully the root cause of the

incident and hopefully learn from it. The 225 is now grounded for

commercial operations in the UK until it is deemed safe to use

again. To football and Dundee United

will be relegated from the Premiership if they fail

to beat their neighbours Dundee United are 11 points adrift

at the bottom of the table Our reporter Brian McLauchlin

easing off and more in the way of sunshine coming through,

particularly in the East of Scotland. As we head through towards

particularly in the East of the end of today the cloud thickens

in the west and the rain will arrive ahead of a weather front with us

through Wednesday. It means a fairly cloudy and wet day on Wednesday

across the north-west of the country. Cloudy at times but some

brightness particularly around the Murray Firth.
