Police hunt for a teenage boy after a seven year old girl | :00:00. | :00:13.
was sexually assaulted in South Queensferry | :00:14. | :00:16.
Edinburgh airport puts plans for new flight paths | :00:17. | :00:18.
out to consultation - we speak to some of the residents | :00:19. | :00:20.
We are being overflowing many times in the day. This used to be a | :00:21. | :00:36.
tranquil area. Also on the programme, | :00:37. | :00:38.
Investigations continue into a targeted attack | :00:39. | :00:39.
on the outskirts of Glasgow which left three men hospitalised | :00:40. | :00:42.
and two vans set on fire A survey of cancer care finds | :00:43. | :00:44.
most people are happy with their treatment but feel | :00:45. | :00:46.
they don't receive enough support And our national team | :00:47. | :00:50.
might be struggling - but fans are still queueing up | :00:51. | :00:52.
for domestic football. Police are hunting a teenage boy | :00:53. | :01:07.
in connection with a sexual assault It happened as the girl played | :01:08. | :01:12.
on a cycle path in South Queensferry Our reporter Joanne Macaulay | :01:13. | :01:17.
is there for us tonight. What more do we know, | :01:18. | :01:20.
Joanne? This is a wooded area of South | :01:21. | :01:34.
Queensferry. The path is run along the back of the village bowling | :01:35. | :01:39.
club. It is an area used by many cyclists and walkers. | :01:40. | :01:40.
The child was playing here on Friday afternoon which was assaulted | :01:41. | :01:48.
between 1:30pm and 1:45pm. It was a sunny afternoon. There may have been | :01:49. | :01:54.
many people in the area who could come forward with information for | :01:55. | :01:58.
the police. Detectives have been carrying out investigations over the | :01:59. | :02:02.
week. They say they are now confident the child was indecently | :02:03. | :02:03.
assaulted. And there is a description of a | :02:04. | :02:05.
suspect? Yes, the suspect is described as a | :02:06. | :02:15.
white male of high school age. He has hazel brown hair swept forward. | :02:16. | :02:16.
of the attack he was wearing dark trousers and a blue T-shirt with a | :02:17. | :02:23.
white writing on it. He also had a temporary tad too on one of his | :02:24. | :02:27.
hands, and he was in possession of a blue and black rucksack. -- | :02:28. | :02:31.
temporary tattoo. Police are asking deeper if | :02:32. | :02:38.
they know somebody who may match that description. Detectives are | :02:39. | :02:39.
this is an incredibly rare incident but a worrying one, nonetheless. | :02:40. | :02:45.
There is a high police presence in South | :02:46. | :02:48.
Queensferry while the enquiries continue. | :02:49. | :02:51.
Edinburgh Airport is consulting on plans for new flight paths, | :02:52. | :02:53.
after a trial last year was cut short, when residents complained | :02:54. | :02:56.
The airport, which is Scotland's busiest, says expanding the number | :02:57. | :03:00.
of flight paths would allow for safe and sustainable growth | :03:01. | :03:02.
It is rush hour up above. What is it like living in the flight path? | :03:03. | :03:23.
Noisy, but we have got to stop talking when they go over, otherwise | :03:24. | :03:28.
you cannot hear each other. We all learn to stop when we are talking. | :03:29. | :03:32.
CHUCKLES Airspace above Edinburgh has not | :03:33. | :03:38.
changed since 1970. Back then, a million people use the airport, now | :03:39. | :03:42.
it is 11 million. The airport would like to increase capacity even | :03:43. | :03:46.
further and that is why it has launched a major consultation into | :03:47. | :03:50.
expanding its flight path routes. Expect adverts online and | :03:51. | :03:53.
information through the letterbox. It is from up here in the control | :03:54. | :03:57.
tower that traffic is directed in and out of the airport. At the | :03:58. | :04:01.
moment they can handle one departure every two minutes but they want | :04:02. | :04:03.
increased that to one per minute. 70% of the planes take off to the | :04:04. | :04:04.
west, flying over West Lothian. The consultation fans out the | :04:05. | :04:10.
possible alternative airspace and they want | :04:11. | :04:18.
to know which routes would be the least disruptive. 30% take off to | :04:19. | :04:23.
the east. Again, the consultation is looking at the most viable route | :04:24. | :04:27.
across the Firth of Forth and beyond. They say it is vital for | :04:28. | :04:30.
business and tourism with local companies like this gin exporter | :04:31. | :04:32.
backing the expansion plans. The benefits for the whole country. | :04:33. | :04:35.
We need to be connected. We are an | :04:36. | :04:40.
island nation that on international trade. | :04:41. | :04:43.
that be tourism, trade, or exports. Let's make sure we give ourselves | :04:44. | :04:47.
the best chance of being successful. A trial | :04:48. | :04:51.
last year had to be cut short because of noise complaints. | :04:52. | :04:54.
sees and hears up to 70 aircraft overhead every day. | :04:55. | :05:00.
unfair. We bought our home to the peace and tranquillity | :05:01. | :05:07.
from us effectively by the actions of Edinburgh airport. | :05:08. | :05:13.
The airport insists it isn't set on any particular routes at this point | :05:14. | :05:16.
but simply wants to canvass views in the first phase. It says | :05:17. | :05:18.
any changes will not come into The Scottish Government is asking | :05:19. | :05:21.
the EU Commission for flexibility on the deadline for CAP payments | :05:22. | :05:27.
to be made to farmers and crofters. Last week, Rural Economy Secretary, | :05:28. | :05:31.
Fergus Ewing, said everything possible was being done to make | :05:32. | :05:33.
the payments ahead of the EU's The Government could be facing tens | :05:34. | :05:36.
of millions of pounds in fines if it Police say they're looking for three | :05:37. | :05:40.
men in connection with what they're describing as a targeted attack | :05:41. | :05:56.
on the outskirts of Glasgow It happened yesterday afternoon | :05:57. | :05:58.
on a street in Cardowan Two bands set on fire after one, | :05:59. | :06:10.
deliberately crashed into the other. deliberately crashed into the other. | :06:11. | :06:16.
-- vans. The men were chased and attacked by the men who arrived in | :06:17. | :06:21.
the stolen vehicle. The men were assaulted with bladed instruments. | :06:22. | :06:26.
At some stage during this incident, the vans were set on fire. The three | :06:27. | :06:33.
men responsible for attacking the victims, we believe, left in two | :06:34. | :06:36.
vehicles. A black four by four bagel and a white | :06:37. | :06:41.
saloon vehicle. and the edge of the road is scorched | :06:42. | :06:50.
by the intensity of the flames yesterday afternoon. What happened | :06:51. | :06:53.
here has left local people shocked and | :06:54. | :06:54.
appalled. This is normally a quiet residential street. It is a quiet | :06:55. | :07:05.
area. You would not expect something like this to happen here. There was | :07:06. | :07:12.
a quick response from emergency services. Forensic officers picked | :07:13. | :07:14.
up evidence that eyewitnesses were asked about the attack which | :07:15. | :07:18.
happened on a sunny afternoon on in North Lanarkshire housing scheme. It | :07:19. | :07:25.
was a sunny Sunday afternoon. It will be fully investigated. I would | :07:26. | :07:28.
like to reassure the public that we will keep a high patrol of uniformed | :07:29. | :07:32.
officers in this area for the foreseeable. Police say the attack | :07:33. | :07:41.
was targeted. But a member of the public could have been caught up in | :07:42. | :07:42.
it. A man has been arrested | :07:43. | :07:55.
in connection with the death of a 41-year-old man, | :07:56. | :07:57.
following a large-scale disturbance Scott MacKenzie, from Shotts, | :07:58. | :07:59.
was fatally injured during the incident at a house | :08:00. | :08:02.
in the town's Inverkip Drive in The 33-year-old man is expected | :08:03. | :08:05.
to appear at Hamilton Still to come on tonight's | :08:06. | :08:08.
programme: A machine invented by twin brothers | :08:09. | :08:20.
from Ayrshire is set to revolutionise railway building in | :08:21. | :08:24.
America. In sport we are not going to Euro 2016. But one Scotland star | :08:25. | :08:31.
says Scottish football is on the up. Holding a cup but chasing more, | :08:32. | :08:38.
Shaun Lunt heads to Japan to break a record. More details in the sport | :08:39. | :08:39.
coming up. Almost a third of the UK's | :08:40. | :08:43.
oil and gas companies are planning more job cuts, | :08:44. | :08:45.
as the oil price takes longer A Bank of Scotland report says | :08:46. | :08:48.
almost two thirds of Scottish businesses say they've been severely | :08:49. | :08:51.
or quite badly affected. Steven Duff is in | :08:52. | :08:54.
Aberdeen for us tonight. The results of this will come as no | :08:55. | :09:08.
surprise to those who work, live, and breed the oil and gas industry. | :09:09. | :09:13.
All those whose businesses rely on it. -- breathe. They asked companies | :09:14. | :09:21.
if they would be fermenting any cost-cutting measures next year. | :09:22. | :09:26.
Nearly 43% said they were. Around 140 companies were questioned. 32% | :09:27. | :09:30.
said they were planning more job cuts. That is on top of the tens of | :09:31. | :09:34.
thousands of job losses which have already been. It also says in the | :09:35. | :09:39.
survey that Scottish oil and gas companies have been hardest hit. 57% | :09:40. | :09:44.
of them said they had been severely or quite badly affected. That | :09:45. | :09:52.
compares to 41% which is the UK average. This is bad news but there | :09:53. | :09:55.
some glimmers of hope on the horizon. The stabilisation of the | :09:56. | :10:01.
oil price and the cuts that have already been taken and the further | :10:02. | :10:04.
efficiency gains that are being sought, should hopefully start to | :10:05. | :10:08.
see that position turn around and more investment decisions coming | :10:09. | :10:11.
back. And hopefully present an industry which is more resilient | :10:12. | :10:16.
going forward. One other chink of light is that a fifth of the | :10:17. | :10:19.
companies said that they were still light is that a fifth of the | :10:20. | :10:23.
looking for investment in exploration opportunities in the | :10:24. | :10:24.
North Sea. Thanks very much. | :10:25. | :10:28.
The first ever Scottish survey of cancer care has revealed that, | :10:29. | :10:30.
whilst the majority of people are happy with their treatment, | :10:31. | :10:32.
many are still not given enough support through their diagnosis | :10:33. | :10:35.
The survey of 5,000 cancer patients found that one in five weren't given | :10:36. | :10:39.
information about support groups, and a third weren't given written | :10:40. | :10:42.
information about the type of cancer they had. | :10:43. | :10:44.
Our health correspondent, Eleanor Bradford, reports. | :10:45. | :10:53.
Laura isn't even 30 and already she has had cancer twice and watched her | :10:54. | :10:59.
father die from it. So she is something of an expert on being a | :11:00. | :11:05.
cancer patient. Her medical care has always been excellent but she had to | :11:06. | :11:08.
go searching for support. At the beginning you keep thinking, I need | :11:09. | :11:14.
to get better, then towards the end using, what has happened to me? You | :11:15. | :11:20.
start to get upset because you have not realised how much a fight you | :11:21. | :11:24.
have had for maybe six months. It has just been tough. When it comes | :11:25. | :11:27.
to cancer care in Scotland, most has just been tough. When it comes | :11:28. | :11:32.
people say they had a good experience, but whilst the NHS does | :11:33. | :11:35.
well at the Curtain Call stuff it is the emotional side where it seems to | :11:36. | :11:40.
fall down. -- clinical stuff. One in five said they were given no | :11:41. | :11:43.
information on support groups. Nearly half were given no | :11:44. | :11:47.
information on financial help or benefits. And a similar number were | :11:48. | :11:51.
not informed about ongoing side-effects, even after treatment | :11:52. | :11:54.
had ended. Nicola Sturgeon admits some of this isn't rocket science. | :11:55. | :11:59.
Some of this is not about resource it is about how people work. Often, | :12:00. | :12:03.
it busy clinician will not deliberately be doing something like | :12:04. | :12:09.
this, it is just about trying to focus on the importance of that. | :12:10. | :12:13.
Everyone with cancer is supposed to have something called a care plan to | :12:14. | :12:17.
make sure all of their needs are met. Those with a care plan had a | :12:18. | :12:22.
much better experience, but only one in five have one. Everybody that had | :12:23. | :12:26.
one of those scored more positively in every single question in that | :12:27. | :12:31.
survey. We need absolutely make sure that becomes part and parcel of | :12:32. | :12:36.
everybody's cancer care. It is a constant battle to provide the | :12:37. | :12:39.
latest treatments, the latest drugs, enough staff, but the survey | :12:40. | :12:43.
suggests there are simple ways in which cancer care can be | :12:44. | :12:47.
transformed. By seeing each patient as a person, not merely a number. | :12:48. | :12:49.
A look at other stories from across the country... | :12:50. | :12:56.

A machine to lay railway line, invented and patented by twin | :15:02. | :15:03.
brothers from Ayrshire, is set to revolutionise | :15:04. | :15:05.
Billy and Danny McCulloch have taken their Track Rail Transposer | :15:06. | :15:09.
to New York to renew part of the city's iconic subway. | :15:10. | :15:12.
Until now, that's been back-breaking work carried out | :15:13. | :15:14.
They're the unlikely directors of a multimillion pound company, twins | :15:15. | :15:24.
Billy and Danny McCulloch left school with no qualifications and | :15:25. | :15:27.
turned initially to lorry driving and farm work. Billy turned out to | :15:28. | :15:32.
be a born inventor. Employed once to clear trees from the side of a | :15:33. | :15:36.
railway, he designed a machine to do it better. The same thing happened | :15:37. | :15:40.
when he saw Railtrack being laid by gangs of men by hand. He came up | :15:41. | :15:45.
with this, the track rail transposer. It's the only such | :15:46. | :15:50.
machine capable of working on single line railways because it doesn't | :15:51. | :15:53.
require another one alongside to run on. That makes it uniquely suitable | :15:54. | :15:58.
for the cramped New York subway. In New York A 300 feet length of | :15:59. | :16:03.
railway like this was taking 50 men a day to lay. The McCulloch track | :16:04. | :16:06.
rail transposer can do twice that a day to lay. The McCulloch track | :16:07. | :16:10.
length in six minutes, using only two men. Not that the Americans knew | :16:11. | :16:15.
that, until Billy interrupted a family holiday and knocked on a door | :16:16. | :16:20.
to tell them. It led to a trial and eventually a contract. It was 1904 | :16:21. | :16:25.
when the railway was build in New York and last Friday night McCulloch | :16:26. | :16:30.
Rail made history, mechanised the way they lay the line in New York. | :16:31. | :16:34.
It's one of the moments you think, oh, my God, the school teachers were | :16:35. | :16:38.
wrong about me. Really Good Value for us to go to the centre of the | :16:39. | :16:42.
world to show people how to do it. That's beyond belief. It's Just the | :16:43. | :16:49.
Two of Us. We worked in a shed at my father's property. 110 we've got | :16:50. | :16:56.
now. Phenomenal. A lorry driver, then working at a farm. Ended up | :16:57. | :17:00.
being a gardener to come to this. It's something that you couldn't | :17:01. | :17:03.
make up. You couldn't put it into words. In New York they called the | :17:04. | :17:08.
TRT the critter and word about it has spread. There's already interest | :17:09. | :17:12.
from Boston, Washington and Long Island with more likely to follow. | :17:13. | :17:19.
Craig Gordon will struggle to watch football's European Championship, | :17:20. | :17:26.
that begins on Friday, because the pain of Scotland | :17:27. | :17:28.
The Celtic goalkeeper admits there will be no escape | :17:29. | :17:34.
But, as Chris McLaughlin reports, despite the international failings, | :17:35. | :17:39.
there may be reasons for domestic optimism. | :17:40. | :17:44.
With Scotland missing out on the euros, could it be time for a change | :17:45. | :17:50.
With Scotland missing out on the of sport? Not quite for this | :17:51. | :17:52.
internationalist, it's just a case of helping out. Of course, he would | :17:53. | :17:59.
much rather be somewhere else. It is difficult. The matches will be on TV | :18:00. | :18:02.
over the summer and you won't be able to escape it whether you want | :18:03. | :18:05.
to watch it or not. Will you watch it? Not all of it. Bits and pieces. | :18:06. | :18:14.
It's a little bit annoying not to be there. Yeah, I don't think I'll | :18:15. | :18:17.
watch every match. I'll probably take in a few now and again. | :18:18. | :18:21.
Scotland's healing process wasn't helped by two friendly defeats. | :18:22. | :18:25.
First at the hands of Italy, then this, the first of three without | :18:26. | :18:31.
reply against France at the weekend. But in the bright summer sunshine | :18:32. | :18:36.
it's not all doom and gloom. This is the queue outside Celtic Park today | :18:37. | :18:39.
for new season tickets, a feel-good factor brought on by the appointment | :18:40. | :18:44.
of their new manager Brendan Rodgers, across the city Rangers | :18:45. | :18:47.
have been promoted and are looking strong in. Aberdeen there's real | :18:48. | :18:52.
belief and Hearts have record season ticket sales. Hearts' fans could end | :18:53. | :18:56.
up on a waiting list with over 12,000 renewing already, that's | :18:57. | :19:00.
before a public sale. It's a record renewal at Rangers with over 33,000. | :19:01. | :19:05.
And the queues continue at Celtic, it's down to limited availability. | :19:06. | :19:11.
All of a sudden Celtic are back in business, Rangers are back in | :19:12. | :19:14.
business, resurgent Hearts and Aberdeen. Even the championship next | :19:15. | :19:18.
season is going to be extremely hard to predict. There's a real sense of | :19:19. | :19:23.
optimism about the domestic game. If only we could take a bit of that and | :19:24. | :19:27.
throw it into the international scene, we'd be better for it. For | :19:28. | :19:31.
now, a hard summer awaits, as all eyes turn to France. After that, | :19:32. | :19:35.
domestically, at least, Scottish football may well have something to | :19:36. | :19:37.
shout about. Andy Murray says his recent success | :19:38. | :19:38.
on clay means he will not have his usual preparation | :19:39. | :19:41.
for the grass court season The world number two begins | :19:42. | :19:43.
the defence of his Queens Club But after reaching finals | :19:44. | :19:51.
on clay in the Madrid, Italian and yesterday's French Open, | :19:52. | :19:56.
how does he feel for grass? I need to rest and let my body | :19:57. | :20:07.
recover a little bit, because I've never had a clay court season like | :20:08. | :20:12.
that before, never won that many matches, never played a final here. | :20:13. | :20:17.
What was actually very difficult conditions the last couple of weeks, | :20:18. | :20:20.
heavy, slow, you know, physical matches. I need to recover a bit | :20:21. | :20:27.
before getting back on the grass and training again. | :20:28. | :20:29.
Sean Lamont hopes to take a step closer to Chris Paterson's record | :20:30. | :20:32.
number of Scotland caps on the national team's | :20:33. | :20:34.
The 35-year-old Glasgow Warriors wing was initially left out | :20:35. | :20:39.
of the squad, but an injury to Tim Visser paved the way | :20:40. | :20:42.
He may have been a late call-up, but Sean Lamont was one of the first on | :20:43. | :20:56.
the training field as Scotland began their preparations for the two Tests | :20:57. | :20:59.
against Japan later this month. He is only five caps short of Chris | :21:00. | :21:05.
Paterson's record of 109. Though that is not the main focus, he | :21:06. | :21:09.
wouldn't mind equalling that feat. I'd love to be involved and keep | :21:10. | :21:14.
going for that. If it happens, then it's one of those things, I'm glad | :21:15. | :21:18.
to be involved. Likewise, if it doesn't I've had no bad innings. | :21:19. | :21:22.
I'll take it at that. We'll see. We don't know what the future holds. | :21:23. | :21:26.
Japan are tenth in the world rankings, one place below Scotland. | :21:27. | :21:30.
The Scottish don't expect to get it easy in the two forth coming Tests. | :21:31. | :21:36.
Scotland won the last meeting, in the 2015 Rugby World Cup, by 45-10. | :21:37. | :21:44.
An away trip, two Tests, things like home advantage, weather, it will be | :21:45. | :21:49.
hot and humid out there, so above all, their a good team. We've got to | :21:50. | :21:54.
be very aware. They pushed us in the World Cup for a good 60 minutes. | :21:55. | :21:58.
Towards the end, we ran away with it, but it was by no means easy. | :21:59. | :22:02.
Both matches on the 18th and 25th June are live across the BBC and | :22:03. | :22:07.
with the Scots unbeaten in five meetings with Japan, they'll be | :22:08. | :22:10.
hoping that figure moves on to seven by the end of this month. | :22:11. | :22:14.
That's all the sport, I'll see you tomorrow. | :22:15. | :22:16.
Beer made entirely out of ingredients from Scotland may | :22:17. | :22:18.
soon be available on supermarket and off-licence shelves. | :22:19. | :22:21.
Hops haven't been grown here on a commercial | :22:22. | :22:23.
scale for 140 years, because of the climate. | :22:24. | :22:26.
But now scientists near Dundee are trying to produce them, | :22:27. | :22:30.
using techniques usually reserved for berries. | :22:31. | :22:33.
Here at a research facility near Dundee something is brewing. A team | :22:34. | :22:45.
of scientists are trying to find out how to grow hops on a commercial | :22:46. | :22:50.
scale for the first time in 140 years in Scotland. They're using | :22:51. | :22:55.
poly tunnels more commonly used to grow berries to create the right | :22:56. | :22:58.
environment. We can demonstrate that you can grow these things | :22:59. | :23:02.
financially viable, that will bring good returns for farmers and give | :23:03. | :23:07.
them an alternative. The good thing about this is that there's strong | :23:08. | :23:11.
de-Nanned from local breweries -- demand from local breweries for | :23:12. | :23:15.
locally grown hops. They're quite an expensive commodity on the market. | :23:16. | :23:18.
This would stop them being flown in from New Zealand or North America. | :23:19. | :23:24.
Polytunnels are a common site here. It may be a hop, skip and a jump to | :23:25. | :23:28.
adopt this technology from berry growing to harvesting hops. | :23:29. | :23:35.
Breweries across the country have shown interest in the project. One | :23:36. | :23:40.
local business keen to use Scottish hops is the St Andrews brewing | :23:41. | :23:44.
company. Currently we have a British beer with all British ingredients. | :23:45. | :23:48.
The sticking point is hops. Currently we get hops from England. | :23:49. | :23:54.
It would be nice to have a local Scottish hop, Scottish barley, | :23:55. | :23:57.
Scottish water, Scottish yeast beer. Different hops from different areas | :23:58. | :24:02.
have different flavours. It will be lovely to experiment with the | :24:03. | :24:06.
Scottish hops and the flavours. Hops like these were used to create this | :24:07. | :24:12.
test beer last year. It is hoped this ongoing research will help to | :24:13. | :24:14.
create a new Scottish hop growing industry. | :24:15. | :24:17.
Now here's Shelly Joffery with details of Scotland 2016. | :24:18. | :24:23.

Two at 10. 30pm. To the weather now and | :24:43. | :24:44.
it's over to Kirsteen. Good evening. We've had very warm | :24:45. | :24:51.
sunshine across much of Scotland once again today. That warmth has | :24:52. | :24:57.
triggered hefty and indeed thundery showers, as you can see, from the | :24:58. | :25:01.
satellite and radar picture. 27 Celsius was the high today in | :25:02. | :25:07.
Glasgow. In sharp contrast, along the East Coast struggling to nine | :25:08. | :25:12.
Celsius. As we head into this evening, I think there will be | :25:13. | :25:17.
showers around for a time. Equally, there will be some warm evening | :25:18. | :25:20.
sunshine. As we go through tonight, these showers will tend to die out. | :25:21. | :25:24.
It becomes dry across the country with clear spells. Some mist, low | :25:25. | :25:30.
cloud across the Northern Isles, the Murray coast, Aberdeenshire and the | :25:31. | :25:33.
Angus area through the night too. Certainly not a cold night, though, | :25:34. | :25:37.
temperatures widely around eight to 12 degrees with light winds. Into | :25:38. | :25:42.
tomorrow, we're still under the influence of this area of high | :25:43. | :25:45.
pressure. However, this weather system moves in through the day. | :25:46. | :25:53.
That energises and inI having rates the showers -- invigorates the | :25:54. | :26:00.
showers. Mist and low cloud along North Sea coastal areas. These | :26:01. | :26:04.
showers will spark off as we go through the course of the afternoon. | :26:05. | :26:09.
That has prompted the Met Office to issue a yellow warning. Some of the | :26:10. | :26:11.
That has prompted the Met Office to showers will be locally very, very | :26:12. | :26:15.
heavy indeed. It could cause localised flooding. And certainly | :26:16. | :26:20.
hazardous driving conditions and they may be thundery too. At this | :26:21. | :26:22.
hazardous driving conditions and stage, we think the main focus of | :26:23. | :26:26.
the showers will be across the likes of the borders, Fife in towards | :26:27. | :26:35.
central parts of the country. Up into Western Ross too. There is | :26:36. | :26:39.
plenty of warm sunshine tomorrow. Temperatures around 24, if not 25 | :26:40. | :26:43.
Celsius. Again, though, for north-eastern coastal areas an the | :26:44. | :26:46.
Northern Isles, cool, perhaps the mist and low cloud lingering. Very | :26:47. | :26:50.
slowly into the evening, the showers will tend to die out. Into | :26:51. | :26:54.
Wednesday, a somewhat cloudier day than of late, fewer showers, some | :26:55. | :26:58.
bright spells and still feeling fairly warm. That's the forecast. ( | :26:59. | :27:00.
Now, a reminder of tonight's main news. | :27:01. | :27:03.
Police are hunting a teenage boy in connection with a sexual assault | :27:04. | :27:05.
It happened as the girl played on a cycle path in South Queensferry | :27:06. | :27:10.
I'll be back with the headlines at 8pm and the late bulletin, | :27:11. | :27:19.
which is indeed late tonight at 11pm. | :27:20. | :27:21.
Until then, from everyone on the team, very good evening. | :27:22. | :27:24. |
