those temperatures in the low 20s. That's all from the BBC News at Six,

goodbye from me, on BBC One we join Two airline pilots are remanded in

:00:00.:00:00.

custody, after being charged with being drunk while in control of an

:00:00.:00:07.

aircraft. Earlier, the plane they were due

:00:08.:00:11.

to fly across the Atlantic to Canada took off from Glasgow airport -

:00:12.:00:14.

almost a day late. Most of Scotland swelters

:00:15.:00:21.

on the hottest day of the year, with temperatures reaching

:00:22.:00:24.

30 degrees Celsius. I like the hot weather. Why do you

:00:25.:00:41.

like it? Because I can eat some ice cream! It is a little bit too hot.

:00:42.:00:45.

Couple of degrees cooler would be fine.

:00:46.:00:47.

But thunderstorms are predicted tonight.

:00:48.:00:48.

Also on the programme: Healing without scars -

:00:49.:00:52.

Scottish plastic surgeons say it could be possible

:00:53.:00:53.

A couple from Renfrewshire scoop almost ?15 million on the lottery -

:00:54.:00:59.

but they delayed claiming their prize while they went on holiday.

:01:00.:01:04.

And as Team GB reveals more Scots in its squad of athletes

:01:05.:01:07.

for the Rio Olympics we consider their prospects

:01:08.:01:09.

after being charged with being drunk while in control of an aircraft.

:01:10.:01:33.

They were arrested at Glasgow airport yesterday -

:01:34.:01:39.

just before they were about to fly a plane carrying

:01:40.:01:42.

The plane finally took off this morning, almost a day late.

:01:43.:01:46.

21 hours after it should have departed, the flight finally got on

:01:47.:02:02.

its way, taking its 345 passengers to Toronto. Yesterday, its pilots

:02:03.:02:07.

were stopped before they boarded the plane. They were breathalysed

:02:08.:02:11.

following a tip-off they had been drinking heavily the night before.

:02:12.:02:16.

Police arrested them and charged them. Passengers were not told this

:02:17.:02:20.

had happened. Among them, some famous faces. I am pleased it has

:02:21.:02:25.

happened in a weird way and that the people on the ground responded to

:02:26.:02:28.

these things. I am glad there was someone at Glasgow airport who was

:02:29.:02:33.

vigilant and who said this plane will not go today because patching

:02:34.:02:37.

your -- passenger safety of the most important thing. We were told it was

:02:38.:02:41.

an operational decision which cancelled the flight but they told

:02:42.:02:44.

you very little information over a long period of time. I have never

:02:45.:02:51.

had any problems before with Air Transat, none. Since this has

:02:52.:02:54.

happened, they are bending over backwards to be apologetic for what

:02:55.:03:00.

has happened. This afternoon at Paisley Sheriff Court, the captain

:03:01.:03:04.

and his first officer, both from Canada, appeared in private. They

:03:05.:03:10.

were charged under section 93 of the railway and transport safety act, in

:03:11.:03:14.

relation to being intoxicated while in control of an aircraft. They made

:03:15.:03:19.

no plea or declaration, and are expected to appear in court again

:03:20.:03:23.

next week. They were remanded in custody and taken away from court.

:03:24.:03:30.

The rules for airline pilots about airline consumption are stricter

:03:31.:03:34.

than for motorists. The legal limit is 20 mg in every 100 millilitres of

:03:35.:03:39.

blood. For drivers in Scotland, it is 50 mg, in the rest of the UK, it

:03:40.:03:47.

is 80 mg per 100 millilitres. Air Transat has apologised to its

:03:48.:03:52.

customers and offered them compensation of 200 Canadian dollars

:03:53.:03:56.

off their next flight. They say the safety of their passengers and crew

:03:57.:04:01.

is their priority. As the flight took off, some on board felt let

:04:02.:04:04.

down as they discovered why their plane had been cancelled.

:04:05.:04:11.

Five orthopaedic consultants are warning that patients

:04:12.:04:13.

will suffer as a result of the decision to move certain

:04:14.:04:16.

services away from a hospital the Scottish Government

:04:17.:04:17.

Today, campaigners accused ministers of reneging on their promises

:04:18.:04:24.

not to downgrade services at Monklands hospital.

:04:25.:04:25.

Lanarkshire Health board says patient care will be enhanced.

:04:26.:04:27.

Our political correspondent Lucy Adams joins me now.

:04:28.:04:35.

Why is this so important? Sounds as if it is a local health story but in

:04:36.:04:43.

fact it is a national story, because politically, this is the hospital

:04:44.:04:48.

that two previous health secretaries, Nicola Sturgeon

:04:49.:04:52.

included, promised to save. Back in 2007, Nicola Sturgeon as Health

:04:53.:04:57.

Secretary, reversed a decision from the previous Labour governments, to

:04:58.:05:01.

get rid of the accident and emergency at Monklands Hospital in

:05:02.:05:11.

Airdrie. Later, other parts of the hospital were campaign to about with

:05:12.:05:14.

regard to Alec Neill, the late Health Secretary. Now there is a

:05:15.:05:17.

decision by the health board. They say they have major staffing

:05:18.:05:21.

problems and they need to move the orthopaedic, that is not just to do

:05:22.:05:25.

with broken bones that all the muscular skeletal parts of the body,

:05:26.:05:29.

they have to move this away from Monklands. They say this does not

:05:30.:05:34.

signify a downgrade of the accident and emergency, but campaigners do

:05:35.:05:39.

not agree. The BBC has seen a letter from a number of Orthopaedic

:05:40.:05:42.

surgeons at the hospital, warning this will put patients at risk. They

:05:43.:05:48.

say moving patients around the country on stretchers is not the way

:05:49.:05:52.

to address the staffing problem. I was out earlier speaking to

:05:53.:06:05.

some of the local campaigners, including Peter Owens whose father

:06:06.:06:09.

was treated at the hospital who is very worried about what this means.

:06:10.:06:11.

To move those essential services out of the hospital essentially

:06:12.:06:13.

downgrade is off to a village hospital. It is unacceptable to the

:06:14.:06:17.

people of this area. In 2007, we fought a very good campaign to stop

:06:18.:06:22.

the downgrade, and shoulder to shoulder, we will fight that

:06:23.:06:25.

campaign again, along with members of staff who have campaigns about

:06:26.:06:30.

the downgrade. What a health board saying? The health board have said,

:06:31.:06:36.

the challenge they face is not just a staffing challenge, and following

:06:37.:06:41.

the changes they propose, 98% of patients attending A at Monklands,

:06:42.:06:47.

will continue to be seen there. 95% of trauma patients will also be seen

:06:48.:06:52.

there. They say their primary objective is patient safety. The

:06:53.:06:55.

Scottish Government have said they saved this accident and emergency

:06:56.:07:01.

department, and they are absolutely committed to A services remaining

:07:02.:07:04.

at Monklands. They say the Health Secretary has asked the board to

:07:05.:07:08.

draw up an engagement plan with staff and local residents before any

:07:09.:07:10.

long-term changes can be made. This really, broken bones, perhaps broken

:07:11.:07:18.

promises. It will come down to the semantics of that. Thank you.

:07:19.:07:23.

You're watching Reporting Scotland from the BBC.

:07:24.:07:25.

Still to come on tonight's programme: Robot Wars

:07:26.:07:27.

was a '90s TV classic, but now the show has been rebooted

:07:28.:07:29.

In sport it's a Fantastic 50 Scots selected for Team GB in Rio.

:07:30.:07:35.

An impish smile as Brendan Rodgers says there's

:07:36.:07:41.

We look ahead to tomorrow night's big game.

:07:42.:07:48.

It's the hottest day of the year so far, with temperatures rising

:07:49.:07:52.

Much of Scotland has been basking in the long awaited sunshine.

:07:53.:07:57.

But it's not going to last, with thunderstorms forecast

:07:58.:07:59.

This is what 27 degrees feels like. Glasgow and south-west Scotland saw

:08:00.:08:15.

some of the highest temperatures today. The mercury hit 29 in

:08:16.:08:22.

Prestwick and 28. On Loch Lomond's shores they were just happy it was

:08:23.:08:27.

hot. It is nice to get a bit of sunshine. Even better if we were

:08:28.:08:30.

guaranteed it for a month or six weeks. It would be fantastic. I have

:08:31.:08:35.

been with my grandchildren in the sun, the freedom and fresh air,

:08:36.:08:41.

lovely. A bit of company. Business at this kayaking company was six

:08:42.:08:46.

times busier than normal. We have a very strong underlying business

:08:47.:08:58.

because we are located on Loch Lomond's side and we have a great

:08:59.:09:01.

outdoor environment, but when the sun shines, trade picks up and as

:09:02.:09:04.

you can see today, it is very busy indeed. This couple struck it lucky

:09:05.:09:06.

with the weather. We got engaged here a couple of years ago so it is

:09:07.:09:11.

very special which is why we are enjoying the sunny weather. When we

:09:12.:09:15.

come to Loch Lomond, it is usually very nice and it is the luck of the

:09:16.:09:18.

draw in Scotland get weather like this but whenever we can, we get out

:09:19.:09:25.

in a boat. Aberdeen had a nearly record-breaking day with thousands

:09:26.:09:30.

of people visiting the beach, parks and gardens. At 10am cappuccinos

:09:31.:09:34.

were being sipped on the waterfront and toes were dipped in the water.

:09:35.:09:39.

90 miles away, Aviemore was glorious. Edinburgh had a dog day as

:09:40.:09:44.

well. From the calm sea at Portobello to the lunch crowd

:09:45.:09:48.

picnicking in the Park. It was so hot even the birds were taking

:09:49.:09:50.

shade. But it was not to be for everyone.

:09:51.:10:06.

People in Shetland needed their umbrellas rather than parasols. It

:10:07.:10:09.

started off murky, but got better. It is the warmest day of the year so

:10:10.:10:12.

far. It has been hotter than Nigeria and Miami. But enjoyed it because

:10:13.:10:13.

tomorrow, the rain is back. And Kirsteen will be

:10:14.:10:15.

here with a much more detailed forecast for Scotland,

:10:16.:10:18.

later in the programme. New economic figures suggest

:10:19.:10:19.

house prices will fall in Scotland this year and next,

:10:20.:10:21.

amid a slowdown in economic growth. According to consultants PWC,

:10:22.:10:24.

the coming months will be challenging, but the UK

:10:25.:10:26.

should avoid a recession. Consumer spending growth is expected

:10:27.:10:28.

to slow because of a weaker pound, and they predict property prices

:10:29.:10:32.

will recover by 2018. A bus driver has been suspended

:10:33.:10:38.

after his "runaway" vehicle crashed in Glasgow city

:10:39.:10:41.

centre yesterday afternoon. The double-decker ploughed

:10:42.:10:44.

into other vehicles, and two men were taken to hospital

:10:45.:10:46.

after the incident. Eyewitnesses said a service bus

:10:47.:10:49.

with no driver on board crashed Two other buses and

:10:50.:10:52.

a car were damaged. Despite all the advances

:10:53.:11:06.

in medicine, doctors are often still unable to treat a wound

:11:07.:11:08.

without leaving a scar. The physical reminder

:11:09.:11:10.

can leave some patients Now a campaign's been launched

:11:11.:11:12.

to achieve scar-free healing A leading Scottish plastic

:11:13.:11:15.

surgeon describes it Playtime for 13-month-old Sophie.

:11:16.:11:32.

She was born with a cleft lip and palate. For her mum and dad, that

:11:33.:11:37.

meant difficult decisions. We were not sure entirely what to expect.

:11:38.:11:41.

Although we had a lot of support from the cleft team and Doctor

:11:42.:11:46.

Henley during that period, so we were well informed, but as for any

:11:47.:11:50.

parent, it is always an anxious time about what lies ahead. One of the

:11:51.:11:55.

biggest worries was that surgery would leave their little girl with a

:11:56.:12:00.

scar. She would have to grow up with it and that was a concern. But

:12:01.:12:05.

having seen what can be done, we were quite happy to agree on what we

:12:06.:12:18.

perceived. Sophie's scar is barely noticeable. Other children are not

:12:19.:12:23.

so lucky. Here at Edinburgh's Royal Hospital for sick children, they

:12:24.:12:27.

carry out hundreds of operations on youngsters. Some are left

:12:28.:12:31.

unavoidably with scars. For the specialist teams to carry out

:12:32.:12:34.

operations without leaving a scar, it is the holy Grail. This doctor is

:12:35.:12:41.

backing a campaign launched today to achieve scar free healing. She

:12:42.:12:47.

believes it is possible and would transform the lives of patients

:12:48.:12:51.

suffering from burns and other major injuries. I think some of the really

:12:52.:12:57.

big exciting answers about scarring will come from a better

:12:58.:13:04.

understanding of why we scar and understanding it to allow how we

:13:05.:13:11.

tweak how we respond to wounds, to ensure we achieve perfect scar free

:13:12.:13:15.

wound healing. For children like Sophie and others, the prospect of

:13:16.:13:20.

scar free healing could transform lives.

:13:21.:13:23.

A look at other stories from across the country.

:13:24.:13:28.

Community groups in Scotland will be able to sponsor a refugee family

:13:29.:13:35.

directly, in a new scheme launched by the UK Government. The initiative

:13:36.:13:39.

will allow charities, faith groups and businesses to support resettling

:13:40.:13:46.

refugees. NHS Highland has temporarily

:13:47.:13:51.

:14:04.:14:07.

missing two days after his wife's funeral has been found. Thomas Lamb

:14:08.:14:17.

was last seen in July. Police have confirmed his body was discovered on

:14:18.:14:25.

a golf course yesterday afternoon. Conservationists have won a legal

:14:26.:14:28.

challenge against offshore wind farms arguing they put their birds

:14:29.:14:33.

at risk. It means the Scottish Government will have to reconsider

:14:34.:14:37.

the decision to grant the farms planning permission.

:14:38.:14:41.

Work is underway to build a new distillery on Scotch whiskey's most

:14:42.:14:46.

historic site. This abbey is recorded as the first distillery in

:14:47.:14:49.

the country but it is hundreds of years since whiskey was first

:14:50.:14:58.

produced there. Building a distillery with a fantastic visitor

:14:59.:15:06.

centre. There is a break of 500 years. For me, it is a dream come

:15:07.:15:14.

true and also for the industry. The iconic Jacobite Memorial at

:15:15.:15:17.

Glenfinnan has been brought back to its former glory. Wind and water

:15:18.:15:22.

damage had taken its toll on the water tower but now thousands of

:15:23.:15:27.

pounds worth of repairs have been carried out on masonry, it's Ruth

:15:28.:15:32.

:15:33.:15:34.

A couple from Renfrewshire are celebrating, after scooping

:15:35.:15:36.

nearly ?15 million in the National Lottery.

:15:37.:15:37.

But John and Alison Doherty from Elderslie managed

:15:38.:15:39.

to keep their big news secret for the past two weeks.

:15:40.:15:42.

Rather than take their precious ticket abroad on holiday, they

:15:43.:16:19.

stashed it away in this hurricane lamp holder. It was taped up. I

:16:20.:16:27.

thought nobody would look there. What is top of the list to spend

:16:28.:16:34.

money on? Me! Kids, the family. The kids and family and we love Formula

:16:35.:16:39.

1 so we will go somewhere. I do know which one it will be but we will

:16:40.:16:49.

choose one. John and Alison discovered they were

:16:50.:16:52.

multimillionaires just before jetting off on holiday with ?15

:16:53.:16:56.

million in the bank, there will be more holidays to come for sure.

:16:57.:17:00.

Time to get today's main sports stories, on a good

:17:01.:17:02.

Thank you, a very good day for Scottish sport.

:17:03.:17:11.

This summer in Rio will see the largest contingent of Scots ever

:17:12.:17:14.

selected for team GB in an away Olympic Games.

:17:15.:17:16.

50 Scottish athletes will take their seats on the plane

:17:17.:17:18.

to Brazil for next month's Games, that's almost 14 % of the GB Team.

:17:19.:17:22.

And as Jane Lewis reports, there's belief the Scots

:17:23.:17:24.

will also play their part in Britain's medal tally.

:17:25.:17:30.

Athletics, swimming and rowing is where you will find the bulk of the

:17:31.:17:38.

Scots. There are 15 track and field athletics, while both the swimming

:17:39.:17:41.

and rowing squads contain eight. The other athletes are spread over 12

:17:42.:17:45.

sports, so Scots will compete in 15 out of the 42 sports in Rio. If you

:17:46.:17:53.

look at those 50 Scots on Team GB in the Olympics, I think we could have

:17:54.:17:57.

as many as 0% of them in serious medal contention. -- as many as 20%.

:17:58.:18:01.

We have nine or ten sports where we can seriously win medals from.

:18:02.:18:04.

That's another target we have set. We want a best ever away. We are

:18:05.:18:08.

looking for more than nine medallists and more than eight

:18:09.:18:11.

medals. I think we are on track to get ten. Many of the names in the

:18:12.:18:16.

team are familiar Great Britain delivers, Olympic champion. For

:18:17.:18:20.

Katherine Grainger, this will be her fifth Olympics. She is one of 17 who

:18:21.:18:26.

has prior Olympic experience but for 33 of the Scots, this will be their

:18:27.:18:30.

first Olympics. I mean, it is the biggest show on Earth. I'm so

:18:31.:18:35.

excited. If I go in confident and just believe in my ability in the

:18:36.:18:39.

training and the work I have put in, that's definitely enough to stand me

:18:40.:18:44.

in a good stead. Rugby Sevens is also making its Olympic debut. It

:18:45.:18:49.

was the final squad to be announced and Scottish pair Mark Bennett and

:18:50.:18:53.

Mark Robinson are in. It'll be massive for sport. So many different

:18:54.:18:56.

people watching, a different audience and hopefully it can push

:18:57.:19:01.

more people on to start playing. The Commonwealth games were a huge

:19:02.:19:05.

success in Glasgow. So 50 Scots going to Rio, beating the previous

:19:06.:19:09.

record of the number of Scottish athletes in Team GB in an away

:19:10.:19:11.

Olympics. That was in Beijing in athletes in Team GB in an away

:19:12.:19:14.

2008 when 31 Scots made the team. Brendan Rodgers says Celtic

:19:15.:19:16.

may need to be patient if they are to overcome

:19:17.:19:18.

Lincoln Red Imps tomorrow night The Gibraltar side lead 1-0

:19:19.:19:21.

from their first leg and the Imps captain says,

:19:22.:19:26.

"they may be the underdogs but they are capable

:19:27.:19:28.

of causing another upset!" However if they do, it might not go

:19:29.:19:32.

down too well with their families. Well, Celtic will look to overturn

:19:33.:19:42.

their humiliating defeat in Gibraltar and continue to fly the

:19:43.:19:45.

flag for Scotland this season in the Champions' League.

:19:46.:19:48.

Before tomorrow's match, this flag would be unfurled to celebrate

:19:49.:19:52.

Celtic's domestic success last season. But their Gibraltar

:19:53.:19:56.

opposition aim to spoil the party. And this is' not to be sneezed at.

:19:57.:20:02.

If we didn't believe in them, we wouldn't be here. Obviously we know

:20:03.:20:06.

that it's almost impossible, but there is always a possibility, you

:20:07.:20:11.

know, it is 11 v 11 and again if we can frustrate them and if Celtic

:20:12.:20:16.

have an iffy game and we play the game of our lives, why not. Despite

:20:17.:20:21.

trailing 1-0 from the first leg, Celtic aim it hit back quickly but

:20:22.:20:26.

the watchword from manager is patience It might take one hour or

:20:27.:20:31.

70 minutes in any game before you break a team down then you can

:20:32.:20:34.

score, two, three, four, five goals in the last 20. So for the game, if

:20:35.:20:39.

it needs patience, I'm sure the Celtic support letters support the

:20:40.:20:44.

team in that. Lincoln players had not bargained for grossing into the

:20:45.:20:49.

next stage. A lot of them have holidays booked for next week, if

:20:50.:20:54.

the next round take place. I go on holiday on Friday. If we were to go

:20:55.:20:59.

through, I would have to cancel. My wife and kids wouldn't be happy.

:21:00.:21:03.

Something we sign up for. We are all living the dream and I wouldn't

:21:04.:21:06.

change it for the world. So, the incentive for Celtic is to make sure

:21:07.:21:08.

he gets that holiday. Elsewhere Rangers have signed

:21:09.:21:11.

the forward Joe Daw Doo The 21-year-old, left

:21:12.:21:13.

Leicester City, the English Premier League Champions,

:21:14.:21:16.

off, we didn't stop. There were different levels, we were just

taking the cream off the top of it and sticking it on the TV. It's

being filmed in a massive warehouse in Glasgow with bigger robots than

different teams involved in this and the people here have waited ten

years for this. Well, it is huge news. It was a childhood dream to be

:23:00.:23:03.

on the show. The opportunity to come here and actually build a machine

:23:04.:23:08.

and be on a show, it is absolutely, it is unreal. Two robots made to be

like wimpering puppies. Most of the previous series was hosted by Craig

Charles T develops genuine cult status, with real disappointment

from fans when its final series was aired.

this is an inspiration now to engineers of the future? I don't

know about the future but in the past it's been a great inspiration.

:23:36.:23:38.

I continually get engineers coming up to me, all the time, still, and

:23:39.:23:44.

saying - when I was six years' old I watched robot wars and that's what

:23:45.:23:46.

got me into engineering. It is that watched robot wars and that's what

excitement. That's what keeps me in the show, really. I didn't know how

it would be. It's been incredible. A bit of a boys' programme? I think

is just as exciting for us, as it would be for them. Fans who have

:24:16.:24:21.

say. Dab robot Wars. -- Rob ot Wars. Back to the weather

:24:22.:24:27.

now. Not every part of the country has enjoyed the sunshine but for

:24:28.:24:32.

those who have, it is about to come to an end.

:24:33.:24:37.

It was 29 in Prestwick today. Many other parts of Scotland enjoying

:24:38.:24:43.

very warm sunshine indeed. For tonight and tomorrow, though, we

:24:44.:24:47.

turn our attentions to some heavy rain forecast really across the bulk

:24:48.:24:54.

of Scotland. The Met Office has a yellowk be aware" warning in force.

:24:55.:25:00.

We are expecting heavy, thundery downpours, leading perhaps to

:25:01.:25:06.

localised flooding, hazardous driving conditions and potentially

:25:07.:25:10.

the loss of power for some areas. For this evening, though, hanging on

:25:11.:25:13.

to lovely warm sunshine. Tonight cloud will increase from the West.

:25:14.:25:18.

We will see heavy showers moving in from central and northern Scotland.

:25:19.:25:20.

Frequent thirned and lightning in the forecast, too, with some hail

:25:21.:25:24.

and across the south this next batch of very heavy rain beginning to feed

:25:25.:25:29.

in. So if the thunder and lightning doesn't keep you await tonight, then

:25:30.:25:34.

the humidity almost certainly will. Temperatures widely around 14-20.

:25:35.:25:38.

Some parts of the country have struggled to see these types of

:25:39.:25:41.

figures during the day over the last few weeks. So, into tomorrow then

:25:42.:25:45.

and quite a tricky commute for many of us as we see the next batch of

:25:46.:25:50.

heavy under thisry rain you are pushing in across southern, central,

:25:51.:25:53.

eastern and northern areas especially. As we go through the

:25:54.:25:56.

course of the day, though, it is somewhat an improving picture for

:25:57.:25:59.

many of us. So, into tomorrow afternoon, then, we hold on to the

:26:00.:26:03.

thundery, heavy rain across the Northern Isles, for much of the

:26:04.:26:07.

north-east, to across central and southern areas, an improving picture

:26:08.:26:11.

and fairly cloudy with some hint of brightness. Along western coastal

:26:12.:26:17.

areas, the Western Isles becoming drier although little in terms of

:26:18.:26:21.

brightness and heavy downpours across some parts of the north-west

:26:22.:26:26.

Highlands. A muggy, humid feel to come again tomorrow with highs of 22

:26:27.:26:30.

or 236789 into the evening period and tomorrow night, gradually we

:26:31.:26:33.

will see the showers becoming confined to the Northern Isles.

:26:34.:26:37.

Drier and brighter elsewhere and Thursday a much quieter day

:26:38.:26:42.

weather-wise. That's the forecast. Now a reminder of the main news: Two

:26:43.:26:52.

airline pilots have been remanded in custody after being charged with

:26:53.:26:56.

being drunk in control of an airport. They were arrested at

:26:57.:26:59.

Glasgow airport yesterday just before they were about to fly a

:27:00.:27:03.

plane with 350 to Canada. Flight took off this morning, almost a day

:27:04.:27:08.

late and with three weeks to go before the Olympics in Rio, the

:27:09.:27:11.

International Olympic Committee is seeking urgepent legal advice on the

:27:12.:27:14.

possibility of banning all Russian athletes from the games. It follow

:27:15.:27:18.

and report, detailing a state-run doping programme at the Winter

:27:19.:27:23.

Olympics in Russia in 2014. The IOC has ruled that all Russian

:27:24.:27:34.

athletes who competed in Sochi must now have their samples retested.

:27:35.:27:38.

That's all from us for now. We are back with the headlines at 8.00pm

:27:39.:27:43.

and just after the 10 owe clock news.

:27:44.:27:43.

Good evening.
