Hundreds of sports venues in Scotland -

a national sports day in the wake of Olympic success.

you're watching the model performers so they make it look, the hard

Seeing it on television and seeing it on reality is great. I want to

win a medal. Absolutely amazing for the kids to get involved, it's great

for them to get amongst it. I find it a great opportunity for people

like me to go and get autographs and pictures, and see the medals. The

Much of Scotland has been dry so far today, with at least some spells of

brightness and sunshine around. That is the theme that continues

throughout this evening. One or two exceptions, sunlight and patchy rain

across the central and western Highlands and the night that

gradually spread throughout much of the North-West, eventually reaching

Walkley, all the while we will see heavier pulses of rain beating into

the South and South-East. In between these areas, who held under dry

conditions with some clear spells and a fairly mild night to come to.

Tomorrow dawns with these areas of rain, fairly quickly they should

pull away into the North Sea to leave much drier, brighter

conditions behind them, the best of the sunshine in the West, a few

showers for the central and eastern highlands towards Aberdeen and
