18 people have been taken to hospital after a coach carrying

Rangers fans was involved in a road accident in East Ayrshire.

The incident, which left three people seriously hurt,

happened at the Crossroads Roundabout on the A76

near Kilmarnock at about quarter past one this afternoon.

One passenger said the bus "swerved" before landing on its side

It's believed the coach was carrying Rangers fans to Ibrox Stadium

in Glasgow, where the team were playing Partick Thistle.

The Dundee boxer, Mike Towell, has died after being injured

in a boxing match in Glasgow on Thursday night.

The fight was stopped in the fifth round and the 25-year-old fighter

Police have launched a murder inquiry into the death of a

40-year-old man at his home in Airdrie.

The body of Malcolm McLaren was found at a flat in Clark Street

in the North Lanarkshire town on Thursday morning.

The operation to load the oil drilling rig, Transocean Winner,

onto a transport ship has been postponed.

This morning's high sea swell in Broad Bay, off Lewis,

meant moving the rig onto the Hawk transporter wasn't safe.

The rig ran aground at Dalmore in August.
