We are two thirds of the way to the Grand Final, though

:00:36.:00:39.

after the latest instalment of Super League, that now

:00:40.:00:41.

We've got all the sights and sounds and here is what is coming up.

:00:42.:00:49.

The Dragons are marking a decades, but was it a happy return

:00:50.:00:52.

It's getting close to the crunch for Salford as the Tigers

:00:53.:01:00.

And fighting for fitness, the road to recovery

:01:01.:01:08.

And here to cast an eye over the events of the week

:01:09.:01:25.

are Hull Kingston Rovers head of rugby Jeromy Peacock

:01:26.:01:27.

and former Great Britain coach Brian Noble.

:01:28.:01:29.

It was party time in Perpignan on Saturday as the Catalans Dragons

:01:30.:01:32.

We join it by Catalan leading by a Pat Richards's more

:01:33.:01:37.

Wigan looking to build from a decent position.

:01:38.:01:46.

That is a cheeky little kick through from Smith as well

:01:47.:01:51.

It looks as though he might have picked up an injury here

:01:52.:01:58.

Lee Mossop look as if he might have kicked out here.

:01:59.:02:08.

And the referee is sending him to be sin-binned for ten minutes.

:02:09.:02:11.

So Mossop in the sin-bin and Wigan down to 12.

:02:12.:02:22.

Look into this right-hand side and a chance for Manfredi

:02:23.:02:29.

Sarginson will pick up and claims the try.

:02:30.:02:33.

Horo is convinced that he touched down, but the referee says try.

:02:34.:02:38.

Charnley, shuffling it back towards the middle again.

:02:39.:02:41.

Tautai will lay it back and Wigan with real energy here.

:02:42.:02:46.

Looking to apply pressure on this Catalans line.

:02:47.:02:50.

It is good footwork and a good offload that has got Matty Smith

:02:51.:02:55.

And over it goes and Ryan Sutton and Wigan have their second score.

:02:56.:03:02.

On his inside comes Sarginson, who is looking to keep

:03:03.:03:35.

This is good hands from Wigan at the moment.

:03:36.:03:42.

And here he comes through the middle.

:03:43.:03:43.

Absolutely sparkling try by Wigan from start to finish.

:03:44.:03:47.

The referee says try, but he is also looking

:03:48.:03:51.

OK, we are just checking the obstruction.

:03:52.:03:54.

That would not seem to be any kind of obstruction on Carney

:03:55.:04:01.

Running away from chasing defenders and they should be given as a try.

:04:02.:04:06.

Happy to see his return over the last week or so.

:04:07.:04:50.

Broughton, wrapped up by those Wigan defenders.

:04:51.:04:52.

Catalans looking back towards the middle again.

:04:53.:04:57.

Horo tries to hold them off, and does!

:04:58.:05:01.

And Horo will score the corner and maybe there is life in this

:05:02.:05:04.

Wigan just looking to make yards here towards that halfway line.

:05:05.:05:13.

It is a slow play of the ball flowed from Gildart.

:05:14.:05:16.

Away to Smith and now to Tomkins who is the line.

:05:17.:05:35.

Sarginson with a little chip and the chase is on!

:05:36.:05:39.

And I think this is going to be given as a try for Manfredi.

:05:40.:05:46.

Was it touched down in time is the question.

:05:47.:05:54.

And that says it was and I think we are going to wrap

:05:55.:05:57.

Lovely delicacy with a little chip through there from Sarginson.

:05:58.:06:05.

Wonderful poise and balance from him and the finish from Manfredi.

:06:06.:06:15.

They are trebling with numbers and they're trembling with delight.

:06:16.:06:25.

Jeremy, surely Shaun Wane of fiercely delighted with that,

:06:26.:06:27.

but also really pleased about how Ford has fronted up

:06:28.:06:30.

They are not a backward team, are there, Wigan?

:06:31.:06:33.

Yes, that is the challenge out there.

:06:34.:06:36.

That is the challenge against paying Catalans.

:06:37.:06:38.

Can you front up physically and it seems that they can.

:06:39.:06:41.

They have not just great tip there, that is a hammering for Catalans

:06:42.:06:45.

Emotionally he is good at getting his side up

:06:46.:06:50.

Now they have got some of the big guys back, how do you think

:06:51.:06:55.

They can't hide behind the fact that they are scratchy

:06:56.:07:00.

The last couple of weeks they have looked physically strong.

:07:01.:07:03.

And I think O'Loughlin makes such a difference to the team,

:07:04.:07:06.

Tomkins is getting better and better by the week.

:07:07.:07:09.

They've battered the Catalans, which is hard to do over there,

:07:10.:07:12.

and a fronted up physically, and they played a brand of football

:07:13.:07:15.

when they have gone on top that we are not accustomed

:07:16.:07:17.

There was floating there, a bit of individual prowess as well

:07:18.:07:24.

and you couple them together and watch the way that this try

:07:25.:07:27.

It's nice to see Wigan throwing the ball around, having

:07:28.:07:31.

It comes on the back of how they have been throwing.

:07:32.:07:35.

He puts it on there does young Gildart to finish the play,

:07:36.:07:39.

but he has gone through five or six off-loads.

:07:40.:07:41.

We have all been singing the praises of Catalans throughout the season,

:07:42.:07:46.

but they haven't beaten one of the top four sides.

:07:47.:07:49.

How worrying a statistic will that be for Laurent as we head

:07:50.:07:53.

It is one he needs to get right if they want to finish

:07:54.:08:00.

anywhere near the top two, which they will want to do.

:08:01.:08:02.

They're to have two in the fore at the moment, but they need

:08:03.:08:08.

If they want to win the Grand Final, they are out of the Challenge Cup

:08:09.:08:14.

at the moment, they need to fix that and put that right.

:08:15.:08:16.

And it was a big day for them as well, celebrating their 10th

:08:17.:08:20.

If on such a big occasion they are not turning up?

:08:21.:08:25.

Well, I think the Challenge Cup the week before, they lost that game

:08:26.:08:28.

and then they have not been able to act up another emotionally big

:08:29.:08:31.

It will be disappointing for the club.

:08:32.:08:34.

They are landmark occasions and they are proud of the fact

:08:35.:08:38.

they have been in this competition for ten years and it will hurt them

:08:39.:08:41.

Tommy Leuluai is coming back to Wigan as a player

:08:42.:08:45.

and they are going to like a coach, a little bit like

:08:46.:08:48.

How big is that for the club and falls on of the younger players

:08:49.:08:52.

in the hearts and the hookers to learn off of Tommy?

:08:53.:08:54.

When they leave Wigan, they pull them back in like this

:08:55.:09:00.

because there's a few that have come back and they enjoyed that area.

:09:01.:09:04.

I think there are something like nine or ten amateur clubs

:09:05.:09:10.

around there, so the fallout of that is more and more players

:09:11.:09:13.

So they will be looking forward to him coming back.

:09:14.:09:16.

Well, Widnes recorded their biggest ever Super League score

:09:17.:09:18.

against Leave when the teams met in Round 2.

:09:19.:09:20.

The return match was at Headingley on Sunday when another Rhinos defeat

:09:21.:09:23.

will consign the champions to the qualifiers.

:09:24.:09:25.

A win for Widnes against the Rhinos would almost certainly

:09:26.:09:27.

secure their spot in the top eight, but it was the Rhinos

:09:28.:09:30.

Rob Burrow found a purposeful Kallum Watkins who charged

:09:31.:09:43.

through the Vikings defence to open the scoring.

:09:44.:09:45.

Leeds were starting to find their groove and some fluid passing

:09:46.:10:12.

soon saw the home side extend their lead further.

:10:13.:10:14.

It is picked up and Joel Moon is going to run through.

:10:15.:10:32.

He puts it down to the right of the sticks.

:10:33.:10:34.

Has he found a way under the post for Widnes?

:10:35.:10:48.

Singleton runs from acting of back up towards the ten.

:10:49.:10:54.

With only a score between them, Widnes began to pile on the pressure

:10:55.:11:13.

and the cracks began to show in the Leeds's backline.

:11:14.:11:19.

Hanbury is running towards the corner.

:11:20.:11:24.

Hanbury, and the game, the tackle there from Golding.

:11:25.:11:27.

Has he managed to ground it yet though, Hanbury?

:11:28.:11:30.

With the match all square, Leeds desperately search

:11:31.:11:35.

for the winner and thought they had it with minutes left on the clock.

:11:36.:11:38.

Brett Ferris's outstretched arm was judged to have not reached far

:11:39.:11:41.

enough by the referee, but they was still time

:11:42.:11:46.

To win the double over Leeds is a massive achievement for us

:11:47.:12:12.

and the top eight for us is about where we want to finish.

:12:13.:12:15.

We are climbing up to finish as high as we possibly can.

:12:16.:12:18.

Probably our highest that we have ever finished in a season,

:12:19.:12:20.

And on the back of that will come on the back of it.

:12:21.:12:25.

In terms of us and our own personal story we are getting better

:12:26.:12:27.

We have been on a journey for a long while, so nothing dramatically

:12:28.:12:33.

happens tomorrow at training and for the next few weeks

:12:34.:12:35.

at training, but certainly we want to get into the middle eight

:12:36.:12:38.

Widnes were really unlucky against Warrington in the championship.

:12:39.:12:42.

How much courage does it show to come back

:12:43.:12:44.

from what was a crushing defeat for them in that respect

:12:45.:12:46.

and to win by a point and show the resilience they show?

:12:47.:12:49.

They were great in the Challenge Cup the week before at Warrington.

:12:50.:12:57.

Many people thought they should have won, but you get

:12:58.:12:59.

You either rock up the next week against the champion side,

:13:00.:13:03.

the champion club and put it right and get yourself a performance

:13:04.:13:05.

or you don't and you give it away and you are not

:13:06.:13:08.

I think they have shown great result because it is still a great

:13:09.:13:12.

challenge to go to the champions and go there and get a result,

:13:13.:13:16.

particularly when they were 16-4 down, or 16-22 down.

:13:17.:13:18.

So they were behind all the way through until

:13:19.:13:20.

And for Leeds, they will be kicking themselves.

:13:21.:13:24.

If you are 22-10 up, you should win, shouldn't you?

:13:25.:13:27.

It should have been put to bed that game with that score,

:13:28.:13:31.

particularly as they have lost a few games close like that this year.

:13:32.:13:34.

I think, for me, it shows that Widnes has grown.

:13:35.:13:36.

We were watching the game against Warrington last week

:13:37.:13:38.

we were hoping they would go for the drop goal.

:13:39.:13:41.

They managed to nail it this week and get themselves the wind.

:13:42.:13:44.

If they had done it last week in the Challenge Cup,

:13:45.:13:46.

But Leeds, I think, have been hanging on by their fingertips,

:13:47.:13:50.

trying to get into the super eights and now confirmed

:13:51.:13:53.

In a funny sort of way, now it is confirmed,

:13:54.:13:56.

is it something they can build on, knowing they have got

:13:57.:13:59.

Build on it, focus on it and know where you are at.

:14:00.:14:03.

It takes away that feeling of not being sure of where you are going

:14:04.:14:06.

to be at and now they know right, these are the teams

:14:07.:14:09.

Certainly in London they are going to be playing and they will find out

:14:10.:14:14.

You can plan and prep for that, but the then

:14:15.:14:17.

They have never been in this position before and there will be

:14:18.:14:21.

pressure on the club because of what has happened

:14:22.:14:23.

How successful they have been in the last ten years.

:14:24.:14:27.

It is going to be a nervy old time, isn't it?

:14:28.:14:29.

Not just for the fans, but those behind-the-scenes?

:14:30.:14:31.

Absolutely, it's going to be mouthwatering as well.

:14:32.:14:33.

The washing machine bit of all these eight fixtures.

:14:34.:14:37.

It is probably nervous territory as well Ryan McDermott

:14:38.:14:41.

They have got to build their form and get their form to somewhere

:14:42.:14:45.

like where they were at champions last year because this is no

:14:46.:14:48.

Lack of confidence, a little bit of a fragile egg at times

:14:49.:14:52.

and you can be in a place that you don't want to be.

:14:53.:14:55.

Well, one man missing from the Rhinos team from the entire

:14:56.:14:57.

season has been their second row forward Stevie Ward.

:14:58.:15:00.

He picked up a knee injury on the night the Rhinos claimed

:15:01.:15:02.

the league leaders shield last year and has been on the road

:15:03.:15:05.

That night was a massive learning curve for me,

:15:06.:15:10.

and it was a massive thing to show the complete different

:15:11.:15:12.

ends of the spectrum of Rugby League, really.

:15:13.:15:17.

I went to my nana's funeral that day.

:15:18.:15:19.

I'd not told many of the lads about my situation because we had

:15:20.:15:26.

a big game, we had to win the League Leaders Shield,

:15:27.:15:29.

and I told myself that because of my nana, I had

:15:30.:15:31.

A a few minutes in, I'd scored, and I thought, the writing's

:15:32.:15:43.

on the wall, we're going to win the League Leaders Shield.

:15:44.:15:46.

And, hopefully, I'm going to have a massive

:15:47.:15:48.

And, then, four minutes to go, I had this tough

:15:49.:15:51.

I can remember JP and Cuthbo screaming, get up, get up!

:15:52.:16:02.

And I knew, as soon as I felt it, I knew something had gone.

:16:03.:16:10.

Telling myself I'd get back and play in the Grand Final.

:16:11.:16:14.

But, you know, it weren't going to happen.

:16:15.:16:16.

He wins it for Leeds in the most dramatic of circumstances!

:16:17.:16:23.

You just want your team to do so well.

:16:24.:16:26.

But you have on the back of your mind, you think,

:16:27.:16:28.

Especially after all that year's effort and how much I put-in,

:16:29.:16:33.

and how much I'd put myself through, I just thought to be involved,

:16:34.:16:36.

that would have capped the year off for me.

:16:37.:16:38.

I've lifted the Grand Final once before, in a shoulder sling then,

:16:39.:16:41.

And then we've won it again and I couldn't lift it properly.

:16:42.:16:46.

I had to have someone to hold it with me.

:16:47.:16:49.

That night was brilliant because we won it, we'd done

:16:50.:16:53.

the treble but it was a tough thing to deal with.

:16:54.:17:09.

There is a bit of an echo, it is a bit weird, and just me

:17:10.:17:12.

and Andy just working hard but that's what these

:17:13.:17:14.

You don't go straight to the stadium and go in front of 20,000 people.

:17:15.:17:20.

These yards have to be done, and this is the hard work to get

:17:21.:17:23.

Obviously, there is some tough times for players when they are out

:17:24.:17:27.

All we can do is get back training and play,

:17:28.:17:31.

keeping it varied, changing it up, seeing what they can do

:17:32.:17:33.

within their limits of injury is very important.

:17:34.:17:35.

Physically, obviously, I'm not out there.

:17:36.:17:37.

I'm not getting the wax and guts or going through the

:17:38.:17:39.

Because we went through such a rough patch, it kills me because I can't

:17:40.:17:47.

do anything to help them out, and actually take hold

:17:48.:17:49.

of something and prove it, it's hard, and it would be

:17:50.:17:53.

easier through winning and we were doing well,

:17:54.:17:55.

because I could just think I've got my own battle

:17:56.:17:57.

rather than thinking about another battle, too.

:17:58.:18:00.

How tough a decision for you to talk about your own

:18:01.:18:03.

I felt it was something I needed to do.

:18:04.:18:07.

Because there's far too many people that do it alone, and there's far

:18:08.:18:10.

too many people that get into a situation where it's too

:18:11.:18:12.

I had an e-mail, looking through my e-mails, the feedback.

:18:13.:18:18.

One lad, 117-year-old lad just said, I've been struggling a bit

:18:19.:18:21.

but you make it seem as if it's something you get

:18:22.:18:24.

And I thought that completely encapsulates what I've

:18:25.:18:28.

Something which musicians go through, and different people

:18:29.:18:32.

Any champion, any champion you speak to or great person,

:18:33.:18:37.

They have had to incur some trouble or some fight they've had

:18:38.:18:42.

So, hopefully, when I get back playing and I get back

:18:43.:18:47.

in the mix of things, mentally, I'll be tougher for it

:18:48.:18:49.

So when something crops up in a game, which is,

:18:50.:18:53.

you know physically hard and mentally you have to overcome

:18:54.:18:56.

it, hopefully, it'll be an added edge.

:18:57.:18:57.

And something that I can just put to the side and say right,

:18:58.:19:00.

Jamie, he's a young man you know extremely well.

:19:01.:19:10.

And a young man intent on growing himself and finding

:19:11.:19:12.

I think something you can level players that come through nowadays,

:19:13.:19:18.

they are a bit too obsessed with Rugby League.

:19:19.:19:20.

But I think Stephen's got real strength and depth in his character,

:19:21.:19:23.

and I think he's shown that all the way I was involved

:19:24.:19:26.

with him, as a 15-year-old, because he was a little

:19:27.:19:29.

bit different, there was a little bit more about him.

:19:30.:19:32.

And, as a player, there's one game that stands out to me that I thought

:19:33.:19:35.

We were playing against Northern Storm in the World Cup challenge,

:19:36.:19:40.

and he absolutely tore into this Storm team.

:19:41.:19:42.

He had no regard, no respect for who he was playing against.

:19:43.:19:45.

I thought, this kid's got a real chance.

:19:46.:19:47.

Rugby League's been quite good about the mental side of the game,

:19:48.:19:51.

we've got the State of Mind coming up.

:19:52.:19:54.

How important is it that young men like Stevie come out and talk

:19:55.:19:57.

Not just to help other people in Rugby League,

:19:58.:20:00.

but, as he talked about, a young 17-year-old?

:20:01.:20:02.

I think we are privileged to see a young guy who's got character,

:20:03.:20:08.

And the character and substance who is prepared to turn around

:20:09.:20:12.

Everybody goes through dark moments and dark times, and when things

:20:13.:20:16.

He is coping with all the distractions, and having

:20:17.:20:26.

strategies for that, and to come out in the open,

:20:27.:20:28.

it'll give a lot more people the chance to have the facility

:20:29.:20:31.

to say, I am struggling digital bit and I need to get better.

:20:32.:20:37.

How important to see how lonely road it is back

:20:38.:20:40.

Yeah, it's difficult, especially when you're used

:20:41.:20:43.

to being involved with the team and seeing them every day,

:20:44.:20:46.

and winning and losing, and sharing those

:20:47.:20:47.

You've no one to share that with, and you feel you are

:20:48.:20:51.

You'd like to say stuff in video reviews but it's not your place

:20:52.:20:56.

I remember you talking more than once last season about him

:20:57.:21:02.

being one of the players that have really stepped up,

:21:03.:21:04.

Better than he was last season, do you think?

:21:05.:21:10.

He's a very hard trainer. He is diligent in what he does.

:21:11.:21:14.

Leeds have missed him because he can play 80 minutes.

:21:15.:21:16.

He can break the line and he's got a great rugby brain as well.

:21:17.:21:20.

And those three ingredients make a great player,

:21:21.:21:22.

and he has been a great loss for the Rhinos.

:21:23.:21:24.

It'll be great to see him back out on the pitch.

:21:25.:21:26.

Now, Jamie Peacock was more than an interested spectator

:21:27.:21:29.

when his team were at home to Warrington on Friday.

:21:30.:21:31.

It all got a bit heated at the end of the first half.

:21:32.:21:34.

Two players, Jordan Cox, who used to play for the club,

:21:35.:21:38.

You can't see what happens there, but there is a bit of afters first

:21:39.:21:43.

It's like fight night on Friday night!

:21:44.:21:45.

I mean, unfortunately, he got sent off.

:21:46.:21:47.

But, your team showed a huge amount of character and resilience

:21:48.:21:50.

The losers are definitely in the qualifiers.

:21:51.:28:06.

They will give you a tough run, won't they?

:28:07.:28:08.

They've beaten us twice this year already.

:28:09.:28:12.

There is two different Huddersfields that have played this year.

:28:13.:28:17.

There is one that got beat by Wakefield that

:28:18.:28:19.

And the one that turned up against Hull that was the honest side.

:28:20.:28:24.

You will be hoping it's the Wakefield, I'm guessing!

:28:25.:28:26.

Salford will appeal against their 6-point deduction

:28:27.:28:29.

for its salary cap breach this week in a complete reversal we will see

:28:30.:28:32.

Just two points were on offer when they played

:28:33.:28:36.

Castleford lined up to that left hand side.

:28:37.:28:46.

He was looking a moment ago, and now he's crashing over to score.

:28:47.:28:51.

Salford shuffling into position here at the moment.

:28:52.:28:58.

Josh Jones is held up, and Tomkins will go from dummy half.

:28:59.:29:01.

Coming in from fullback is Gareth O'Brien who finds a way

:29:02.:29:07.

And Salford have their response in double quick time.

:29:08.:29:18.

Lui with a drop of the shoulder and a passout to Josh Jones again,

:29:19.:29:25.

but Castleford's defence is smarter the moment.

:29:26.:29:27.

Robert Lui tries to trickle one through.

:29:28.:29:32.

It is Dobson's that's chasing, and will get there first to score.

:29:33.:29:35.

Castleford looking towards this right-hand side, where they find

:29:36.:30:10.

Junior Moors standing in that right side

:30:11.:30:12.

Back it comes to Gale, who looks left, and Dorn...

:30:13.:30:16.

But it is a glorious ball from the fullback that

:30:17.:30:21.

This is really special. All Webster has to do is catch it and score.

:30:22.:30:38.

Castleford looking to build here if they can. They have got a bit of

:30:39.:30:43.

space. Luke Dorn is the man to run into the past and through a swathe

:30:44.:30:52.

of empty Salford defence. Castleford have another and it is Luke Dorn

:30:53.:31:04.

again who is the star. Here is Lui. Mason Caton-Brown back into finish.

:31:05.:31:11.

Just what they needed and at just the right time. It is a high tackle

:31:12.:31:24.

by Milner, according to the referee. He was slipping, but Milner's arm

:31:25.:31:35.

was still a little high. You will put money on him. It is all square

:31:36.:31:45.

at 18 points APs. -- a piece. Tomkins. On the inside. Looking to

:31:46.:31:53.

get the ball away. Tomkins is on his way. There is an appeal for

:31:54.:32:01.

something here. Maybe a claim of a high tackle. Dobson staying down.

:32:02.:32:06.

The referee has decided that was a high tackle and the penalty has been

:32:07.:32:13.

given. So a chance here from 40 plus yards for O Brien to give his side a

:32:14.:32:19.

two point lead. Has he got it? You bet he has got it. Aid to refit kick

:32:20.:32:32.

from O'Brien. Nerves of steel. Worrying moments for the Castleford

:32:33.:32:38.

coach. This is going to be another penalty. Time has just about gone

:32:39.:32:44.

anyway. This will cap it for Salford. A swing from Danny Tickle.

:32:45.:32:52.

Salford had it won anyway and there is absolute confirmation. Two points

:32:53.:32:59.

them to night. They just about keep their top eight hopes alive. Have

:33:00.:33:17.

you seen growth with that first team place? When they are at a club and

:33:18.:33:27.

are passed around is then they go where they are wanted, it makes a

:33:28.:33:31.

difference. You can see that with Gareth O'Brien. He has delivered for

:33:32.:33:37.

Salford. Salford have lost a few of those close games, how important for

:33:38.:33:42.

them to get over the line? It's good. Their form needs to be good.

:33:43.:33:48.

They are the nearly boys. They have had a lot of scorelines. The

:33:49.:33:53.

structures are good and they are followed. They looked like a solid

:33:54.:33:57.

team. Building that team has taken some doing. Then seemed to be on the

:33:58.:34:07.

right track. It has been said that the cloud has gone backwards. Are

:34:08.:34:16.

they struggling for an identity. I think so. The club moving from the

:34:17.:34:20.

ground to this one, some of the fans have not come with it and they have

:34:21.:34:24.

stayed away. They have been winning games this year. They will easily be

:34:25.:34:33.

in the eighth. Marlon is upset about that. He has put money and time in

:34:34.:34:38.

the club and he has got nothing back from the local community. In terms

:34:39.:34:42.

of Castleford, they ran out of players. Lost three, a few injuries.

:34:43.:34:49.

A tough time. It is tough, but they have produced some champions and

:34:50.:34:55.

performances. Darryl seems to manufacture a performance. They were

:34:56.:35:01.

unlucky, they ran out of troops. They were knocks here there and

:35:02.:35:09.

everywhere. Luke Dorn has been very influential. Absolutely. I'm

:35:10.:35:15.

wondering whether or not he thinks it is a good idea to make a pin.

:35:16.:35:22.

Now, a man of the Jungle has returned. The Tigers fans will be

:35:23.:35:24.

hoping for more moments like this. Castleford coming away. Has he

:35:25.:35:33.

delayed it too long? He scores! Jamie, you spoke about finding a

:35:34.:36:03.

place at Castleford. Rankin need someone who can look after him away

:36:04.:36:10.

from the game. On the pitch, he is skilful and produces more moments of

:36:11.:36:17.

magic than anyone in the competition. His issues will be away

:36:18.:36:21.

from the field. Darryl is good at that, he gets the best out of his

:36:22.:36:25.

players. How do you see him and Luke Gale. Potentially brilliant. Fans of

:36:26.:36:41.

rugby league should be happy that he is playing. We need stars and I

:36:42.:36:55.

think he is great. And a big boost for Castleford 's? They have been

:36:56.:37:02.

struggling with injuries, etc. -- Castleford? They have struggled, but

:37:03.:37:10.

they have got on with it. They have not winched or moan. Coach Powell

:37:11.:37:21.

will be thinking, we have made a mess of that, but the tent one --

:37:22.:37:34.

but the Rangi Chase is a good one. Let's cross to the game between

:37:35.:37:39.

Wakefield and St Helens. High tackle, but Jo Cox says play

:37:40.:37:52.

on. What's the thing, goes to the line. -- but Joseph Cox says play

:37:53.:38:03.

on. Lomax, delayed pass. Mark Percival has a simple finish.

:38:04.:38:13.

Through the hands it goes. He is going to rumble his way through.

:38:14.:38:19.

Touches down for Saint Helens. They go ahead. Based in sunshine,

:38:20.:38:27.

Bellevue. Miller, out the back it goes. There goes Tom Johnston to

:38:28.:38:43.

lee-macro John finish. -- there goes Tom John Stones. Gets the ball away

:38:44.:39:01.

to Roby. Offloads to Turner. Turner is on the breakaway. Lomax on the

:39:02.:39:07.

inside. Back-to-back scores for Johnny Lomax. Turner is going to

:39:08.:39:20.

dive on it. It is a one in one tackle. Miller for his second, just

:39:21.:39:35.

on the route. -- on the hooter. Streams through. Too simple, too

:39:36.:39:41.

easy. There is Morgan Knowles backing up. St Helens are ahead.

:39:42.:39:49.

Wakefield being made to pay for every error. Here is Walmsley. Only

:39:50.:39:57.

as far as Jacob Miller. Have Wakefield got a route back into this

:39:58.:40:05.

game? Roby is dominant. He has gone straight through. Will he get to the

:40:06.:40:10.

line? Wakefield tried to stop him, but they can't. The Saints dynamos

:40:11.:40:15.

is on the board. It has been a game of touch and pass. Strides through.

:40:16.:40:28.

They are on their way. Good finish from Ben Jones-Bishop. Right in the

:40:29.:40:35.

corner. Throwing the ball with abandon. Turner forces his way

:40:36.:40:43.

through. Can they hold him up? No, they can't. St Helens running away.

:40:44.:40:50.

Raby has picked the gap once again. He has been unstoppable today. --

:40:51.:41:00.

Roby. Matty Fleming will put this game to bed. Saints have won it.

:41:01.:41:04.

Wakefield are out of steam. Eye-catching tries, but defence not

:41:05.:41:21.

to the fore? I am confident both coaches will want to improve their

:41:22.:41:24.

defence until they get to the tricky stuff. What about St Helens? They

:41:25.:41:31.

have beaten you, they have beaten Wakefield. Are they improving? They

:41:32.:41:35.

need another couple of runs. Wakefield are near the bottom --

:41:36.:41:48.

Wakefield have leaked too many points. They can score them, but

:41:49.:42:01.

there is the other side of the game. Will it be a problem getting into

:42:02.:42:05.

the top four? You need to have a system. You need to practice it

:42:06.:42:11.

through the week. You cannot afford to be focused on what you have not

:42:12.:42:19.

got. From Wakefield's interview, will Chris Chester be worried about

:42:20.:42:30.

the points they are leaking? The cup is a welcome distraction, but they

:42:31.:42:33.

need to secure a place in the league. They have difficult games

:42:34.:42:38.

coming up. They need to get one of them. Is there a danger Challenge

:42:39.:42:43.

Cup semifinal is a distraction for them? A positive distraction. It is

:42:44.:42:49.

important they secured their place in the Super League, absolutely

:42:50.:42:55.

right, but there is a trophy on offer and they have two be focused.

:42:56.:43:03.

They need to treat them separately. Their form is the issue. Do you

:43:04.:43:13.

think St Helens have enough to get into the top four? They are only

:43:14.:43:18.

four points away with ten games to go. There are chances for them to do

:43:19.:43:23.

it, but it is their defence. If they don't sort that out, maybe not.

:43:24.:43:27.

Back-to-back wins for St Helens and after some eye-catching wins, this

:43:28.:43:39.

is how things stand in the First Utility Super League table.

:43:40.:44:02.

That is all we have time for. My thanks to Jamie and Ryan for joining

:44:03.:44:11.

us. We will see you at 11:15pm next week. Goodbye.

:44:12.:44:21.

What is that?! ..and show us that cheaper food...

:44:22.:45:08.

Gregg and Chris are back to help us slash the weekly food bill.

:45:09.:45:11.
