Guernsey's schools could move away from the English system of GCSEs and | :00:00. | :00:36.
A`levels. And are the Channel Islands amongst the best places in | :00:37. | :00:40.
the world for budding authors? I would be surprised if I didn't see | :00:41. | :00:45.
them in print within the next 10 years. | :00:46. | :00:52.
Some patients in Jersey have faced waiting almost a year to be seen by | :00:53. | :00:57.
an orthopaedic specialist. More than 1,000 patients need to see a | :00:58. | :01:00.
specialist about bone and muscle problems in the island. The figures | :01:01. | :01:05.
fluctuate, but on average it's taken more than 40 weeks for some patients | :01:06. | :01:09.
to see someone in orthopaedics after being referred by their GP. That's | :01:10. | :01:12.
fallen to 28 weeks since the start of the year. In the UK, specialists | :01:13. | :01:23.
aim to see patients within 18 weeks. Now more than ?1 million has been | :01:24. | :01:26.
earmarked by Jersey's health department to reduce waiting times ` | :01:27. | :01:29.
the target is 12 weeks. Jen Smith reports. More than a thousand | :01:30. | :01:35.
patients, that is about 1% of the island's population, are waiting for | :01:36. | :01:41.
appointments in this hospital in orthopaedics. For some it has been | :01:42. | :01:46.
ten months since their referral. Although the wait times are | :01:47. | :01:51.
reducing, we acknowledge that is still too long to wait to see | :01:52. | :01:56.
specialist. As a result we have a number of initiatives that are in | :01:57. | :02:00.
place to introduce through course of the year to actually bring that | :02:01. | :02:06.
waiting time down significantly. Dr Nigel Minihane represents GPs and | :02:07. | :02:10.
says long waiting lists have changed the way he works. If I speak to you | :02:11. | :02:15.
as a patient and you say you're in pain and we have a diagnosis and the | :02:16. | :02:19.
only resource that is necessary is the pain clinic, if it is going to | :02:20. | :02:24.
be a year before you see somebody, we might decide not to refer you at | :02:25. | :02:28.
all. That is part because of the of the demand. We have a komp hentive | :02:29. | :02:38.
team that `` comprehensive team, but there is over 10,000 patients with | :02:39. | :02:42.
moderate to severe pain in the community. That is a lot of them and | :02:43. | :02:47.
lot get referred to us. You have been telling us about your | :02:48. | :02:50.
experience of waiting for treatment. Rachel said we had our son's | :02:51. | :02:52.
appointment within two months. The health department told us most | :02:53. | :03:15.
of the money invested in the hospital this jeer has gone into | :03:16. | :03:23.
reducing waiting lists. Guernsey's schools could move away from the | :03:24. | :03:26.
English system of GCSEs and A`levels. From September 2015 the | :03:27. | :03:31.
qualifications are changing ` with more of an emphasis on exams, and | :03:32. | :03:34.
less on coursework. Concerned about the impact that new English system | :03:35. | :03:37.
could have on students, Guernsey's Education department's looking at | :03:38. | :03:40.
other options and is asking parents for their views. Penny Elderfield | :03:41. | :03:48.
reports. Turn over your paper, your time starts now. Or at least your | :03:49. | :03:52.
consultation paper. Because from today, parents can have a say on | :03:53. | :03:58.
changes to GCSEs and A`levels. England's moving away from the | :03:59. | :04:01.
current system. Most of the focus will be on exams at the end of two | :04:02. | :04:06.
years of study, instead of the course work and assessments that | :04:07. | :04:12.
happen now and the usual A star to G grades will go. And knowing tests | :04:13. | :04:20.
respect for everyone, there are concerns that could disadvantage | :04:21. | :04:23.
some students. Some of the exams have already become just at the end | :04:24. | :04:29.
of two years and they're already expressing concern that they're | :04:30. | :04:33.
reliant on their performance on one day. When you have have it as | :04:34. | :04:39.
modular exams it is spread over time. There are four options. One | :04:40. | :04:46.
follow England and introduce a new system. Look at the Scottish system, | :04:47. | :04:50.
which would still mean big changes. Or go down the route Northern | :04:51. | :04:53.
Ireland and Wales are going down. They're keeping their own system of | :04:54. | :04:59.
GCSE and A`levels and at the moment that third option is what education | :05:00. | :05:05.
is favouring. That is the least disruptive as they could go down the | :05:06. | :05:09.
English route, they're changing the whole thing, narrowing the krim Lumb | :05:10. | :05:17.
and `` curriculum. Having made its own assessment, education wants to | :05:18. | :05:22.
hear from parents before deciding which system is best for Guernsey | :05:23. | :05:31.
moving forward. Some news developing. A cyclist has been taken | :05:32. | :05:34.
to hospital following a collision with a car in Jersey. Emergency | :05:35. | :05:37.
services arrived at the scene around 5 o'clock this afternoon. The | :05:38. | :05:40.
collision between the cyclist and a blue Peugeot car happened at the | :05:41. | :05:44.
junction of Trinity Hill and Old Trinity Hill. No`one else was hurt. | :05:45. | :05:47.
There could be a search and rescue aeroplane back in the skies above | :05:48. | :05:51.
the Channel Islands in four weeks. The Lion's Pride crash`landed in | :05:52. | :05:54.
November during a search for two fishermen. All five crew members | :05:55. | :05:59.
walked away unharmed and the fishermen were later rescued. Now | :06:00. | :06:02.
the documents to provide an interim aircraft have been signed, and it | :06:03. | :06:08.
should be here in a month. Good to have you with us. Still ahead in | :06:09. | :06:14.
Spotlight ` washed up in the storms. The sale pup ` seal pup being nursed | :06:15. | :06:34.
back to health. Jersey Rugby Club's head coach admits the emotion of the | :06:35. | :06:37.
occasion may have got to his players in their nail`biting defeat at | :06:38. | :06:40.
Ealing. The islanders lost 25`23 to the Championship's bottom club ` | :06:41. | :06:43.
setting up a potentially anxious end to the season as both teams battle | :06:44. | :06:47.
to avoid relegation. Our sports editor Tim Pryor was in west London | :06:48. | :06:50.
for the match. The game was billed as Jersey's chance to secure | :06:51. | :06:55.
survival. But now they're looking over that their shoulder as Ealing | :06:56. | :07:00.
narrowed the gap with four matches to go. It started so well for the | :07:01. | :07:08.
islanders as McCraig grabbed an early try. Ealing hit back with a | :07:09. | :07:14.
touch down of their own. But Jersey's second helped open up a | :07:15. | :07:23.
17`5 advantage. Jersey score a try! They couldn't hold on as back came | :07:24. | :07:27.
the hosts, fighting for their Championship life with a penalty try | :07:28. | :07:33.
and then a Chester try gave them the lead for the first time. Ealing | :07:34. | :07:40.
weren't in the mood to let the win slip away. It is about we can do and | :07:41. | :07:48.
how we want to push forward. Just because Ealing have beaten us, we | :07:49. | :07:54.
are going to carry on. They must now pick themselves up for the final few | :07:55. | :08:00.
games. They're still likely to avoid relegation, but the defeat means a | :08:01. | :08:08.
nail`biting end to the season. Guernsey FC manager Tony Vance says | :08:09. | :08:11.
he's determined to see his side go up through the play`offs following | :08:12. | :08:14.
defeat away to the leaders of the Ryman South at the weekend. | :08:15. | :08:17.
Peacehaven Telscombe won 2`0 to extend their lead at the top and | :08:18. | :08:21.
look certain to be promoted as Champions, with Guernsey five points | :08:22. | :08:24.
off Leatherhead in third in the table. The digital world of e`books | :08:25. | :08:29.
and self`publishing has created enormous opportunities for budding | :08:30. | :08:32.
authors here in the Channel Islands. Designed to encourage local talent, | :08:33. | :08:35.
the Alderney Literary Trust had a workshop over the weekend for | :08:36. | :08:37.
creative writers from Guernsey, Jersey and Alderney for people keen | :08:38. | :08:41.
to learn how to write and publish their first novel. Our Alderney | :08:42. | :08:51.
Reporter, David Earl, was there. Could the next Rolle Daal being | :08:52. | :08:57.
among this group? The course was designed to show what it takes to be | :08:58. | :09:03.
a success in this digital age. Heading the course was best selling | :09:04. | :09:11.
author Simon Scarrow. There was a traditional path to get to being | :09:12. | :09:16.
published. Now with e`books and so on it has opened up everything and | :09:17. | :09:22.
provided you're a good writer with a certain sense of how to use social | :09:23. | :09:32.
media, the world is your oyster. Two Two girls won a free place on the | :09:33. | :09:37.
course in a competition. I'm a fan of Facebook and Twitter, but I think | :09:38. | :09:42.
we can have a balance of both and theatre, literature and writing | :09:43. | :09:46.
performing it is all things we need to keep going, because that is what | :09:47. | :09:53.
humanity is. It ties into each other. She was saying how important | :09:54. | :09:59.
Facebook and Twitter are for marketing. You need to use them to | :10:00. | :10:04.
get your name out. One thing that impressed Simon was the standard of | :10:05. | :10:08.
work. The whole thing has been eye`opening in terms of range | :10:09. | :10:15.
talent. The stand out students were the youngest students who wrote | :10:16. | :10:20.
completely different stories, but to a very high level and I would be | :10:21. | :10:24.
surprised if I didn't see them in print within the next ten years. | :10:25. | :10:29.
There is a great deal of talent here in these islands. Just before we | :10:30. | :10:37.
join David for the weather, take a look at the conditions faced by | :10:38. | :10:40.
islanders kayaking across Scotland this weekend from the west to east | :10:41. | :10:43.
coast. The group which was made up of people from Guernsey, Jersey, | :10:44. | :10:46.
Sark and Herm braved snow, hail, wind and sun to finish the 56 mile | :10:47. | :10:50.
race in 18 hours and 30 minutes. They were raising money for the | :10:51. | :10:57.
Channel Island Air Search. Well done to them. David is with us. Not quite | :10:58. | :11:02.
those conditions that we were expecting here? No, we had four | :11:03. | :11:07.
degrees this morning which is pretty cold for the start of the day at | :11:08. | :11:12.
this time of year. It was only eight or nine today. It will be warmer | :11:13. | :11:15.
tomorrow. The reason for that is we will get some sunshine. But showers | :11:16. | :11:20.
early in the day and showers later in the day. The showers are going to | :11:21. | :11:25.
be troublesome, because they will be around tomorrow night and could be | :11:26. | :11:29.
around for a while on Wednesday morning too. But the cloud structure | :11:30. | :11:36.
shows this thick line of cloud, an area of low pressure across Ireland. | :11:37. | :11:40.
A bit of a clear aps and behind is some showers. So don't expect a | :11:41. | :11:45.
complete improvement tonight. There are plenty of isobars, so we won't | :11:46. | :11:50.
have a frost tonight. And then a new area of low pressure trickles past | :11:51. | :11:53.
us through the morning tomorrow morning. Moving into western frant | :11:54. | :11:58.
by `` France by the middle of the day. That could bring some showers | :11:59. | :12:02.
early in the day and then we are still with the risk of further | :12:03. | :12:07.
showers as weather fronts are trapped in a north`easterly wind. So | :12:08. | :12:12.
a change in the wind direction and a change to cold conditions later in | :12:13. | :12:16.
the week. But this band of rain is on the way out and will be replaced | :12:17. | :12:21.
by showers. Morning temperatures around six degrees. Tomorrow, we | :12:22. | :12:25.
expect to have a few showers and then some sunny spells and the sunny | :12:26. | :12:31.
spells will be mostly confined to Jersey. Some showers in Guernsey in | :12:32. | :12:35.
the morning. By the afternoon some sunny spells before the next line of | :12:36. | :12:40.
showers creeps in. 11 degrees the Tom temperature and the coastal | :12:41. | :12:48.
forecast, force five or six. Times of high water are: | :12:49. | :12:55.
For surfers up to about four feet. For the rest of the week, it is | :12:56. | :13:04.
colder, but expect some showers all the way through. Thank you. And that | :13:05. | :13:12.
is it for now. We are back at 8. Bye for now. | :13:13. | :13:23.
the condition and find ways of coping with it. Teachers dress up as | :13:24. | :13:24.
scarecrows. And it's up to pupils to choose | :13:25. | :13:33.
their outfits. What's the significance of scarecrows? Well, | :13:34. | :13:41.
Archie is one. He is the character who connects everybody to the | :13:42. | :13:45.
subject of dementia. It's good to learn about it. You know how to | :13:46. | :13:56.
cope. I think it would be nice to learn how to really communicate with | :13:57. | :14:00.
people who have got dementia, because if you don't know how to, | :14:01. | :14:05.
you might speak to them in a different way and they might get a | :14:06. | :14:12.
bit upset. Fiona Mahoney developed the Archie project will stop she | :14:13. | :14:16.
wrote a children's book to explain the condition in simple language. We | :14:17. | :14:21.
have the most amazing story book, but at the end of the project this | :14:22. | :14:28.
little boy who was about seven years old said, I took the book home and I | :14:29. | :14:32.
read it to my mum and dad and we all realised that grandad had the | :14:33. | :14:35.
symptoms of dementia. It is early diagnosis, that's what we're trying | :14:36. | :14:42.
to get. See you again. Goodbye. It feels very nice to be here. And we | :14:43. | :14:51.
feel very welcome. This assembly marks the official launch of the | :14:52. | :14:54.
Archie project here at Wellesley Park. I think it will be really good | :14:55. | :15:00.
for the children to get amongst the older people and do things together | :15:01. | :15:02.
and realise that they are real people out there, and just to learn | :15:03. | :15:06.
how to talk with them and learn things from their past, hear about | :15:07. | :15:10.
their history, and just get together really. So, keep an eye. Archie | :15:11. | :15:18.
might be visiting a school you soon. `` keep an eye out. Archie might be | :15:19. | :15:22.
visiting a school near you soon. A former top racehorse is helping a | :15:23. | :15:28.
Royal Marine from Lympstone recover from the strains of military | :15:29. | :15:30.
service. Sergeant Major George Beilby struggled to re`adjust | :15:31. | :15:33.
following his last tour in Afghanistan. He says he's developed | :15:34. | :15:37.
a special bond with the horse, known as Monkey, and it's changed both | :15:38. | :15:40.
their lives. Janine Jansen has been to meet them. This sergeant major | :15:41. | :15:48.
has been onto two tours of Afghanistan, and his return to | :15:49. | :15:53.
normality has been tough. But his journey has been helped by his | :15:54. | :15:57.
unique relationship with Monkey. After a life racing at the top | :15:58. | :16:00.
level, he too has been finding his feet looking for a new career. | :16:01. | :16:05.
George says the life of a racehorse is very similar to that of a | :16:06. | :16:10.
soldier. They live a similar life to worse. A disciplined, structured | :16:11. | :16:16.
life `` to us. They are trained to a high level, physically. They are | :16:17. | :16:19.
expected to give everything when they perform and they have the most | :16:20. | :16:24.
to lose the least again. Some of them sadly pay the ultimate price as | :16:25. | :16:28.
well. And that the end of their career there is considerable doubt | :16:29. | :16:30.
to what will happen afterwards, and I think that's a perfect mirror of | :16:31. | :16:34.
the life of a soldier who has devoted his life to his work as | :16:35. | :16:40.
well. They get a bit of a rough deal, ex`racehorses, and some of | :16:41. | :16:43.
them find themselves on the wrong hands or in a bad way. The same can | :16:44. | :16:50.
be said for some soldiers as well. At the height of his career, he had | :16:51. | :16:58.
a huge fan club. He is 17 years old, and he was recently training with | :16:59. | :17:01.
Philip Hobbs in Minehead and he spent most of his racing career | :17:02. | :17:05.
there. Some of his big victories, the Gold Cup. That's one in | :17:06. | :17:15.
particular. He put lot of great performances in in the Cheltenham | :17:16. | :17:21.
Gold cup, the King George as well and he won something in the region | :17:22. | :17:25.
of around three quarters of ?1 million in prize money. Monkey was | :17:26. | :17:31.
given a second chance, and it seems these two were made for each other. | :17:32. | :17:37.
To the sport now, and there were mixed fortunes for our football | :17:38. | :17:44.
teams this weekend, with the only win in League Two coming courtesy of | :17:45. | :17:47.
Exeter City. They celebrated their first victory at St James Park since | :17:48. | :17:50.
early October. In the Championship, Yeovil Town missed the opportunity | :17:51. | :17:54.
to climb out of the bottom three at Huish Park, as Andy Birkett reports. | :17:55. | :18:00.
It all started so well for Yeovil town. Ishmael Miller's a neat finish | :18:01. | :18:05.
gave them the lead and Kevin Dawson doubled the advantage to give the | :18:06. | :18:09.
home fans plenty to cheer before half`time. Bolton Wanderers pulled | :18:10. | :18:12.
one back in the second half, but when Alex Baptiste saw red with ten | :18:13. | :18:16.
minutes to go, Miller squandered the chance to put the game to bed. And | :18:17. | :18:21.
they were made to pay. When this looping header beat the stranded | :18:22. | :18:27.
goalkeeper to level things at 2`2. When you are down at the bottom, it | :18:28. | :18:30.
can feel like everything and everyone is against you. Krista | :18:31. | :18:38.
Brodsky returned to rip `` return to haunt his former employers, and | :18:39. | :18:41.
things went from bad to worse when Goodwin was shown a straight red | :18:42. | :18:46.
elbow. Ten man Torquay United nearly forced the draw but it wasn't to be | :18:47. | :18:49.
and the defeat leaves them six points adrift of safety at the foot | :18:50. | :18:53.
of the table. Exeter city have relegation worries of their own. | :18:54. | :18:58.
They were given a helping hand when Jon Parkin bundled the ball into his | :18:59. | :19:03.
own net. Elliot Richards made it to `` two goals before there was | :19:04. | :19:08.
another gift, and Richards doubled his tally. The 3`0 win over | :19:09. | :19:13.
Fleetwood moves Exeter five points above the drop zone. Plymouth Argyle | :19:14. | :19:18.
have their eyes on the other end of the table, and when this fine strike | :19:19. | :19:22.
gave them the lead Accrington, the good form looked set to continue. | :19:23. | :19:27.
But Tom old red's powerful header meant to point was all they would | :19:28. | :19:33.
take from their travels `` Tom Aldred. | :19:34. | :19:35.
Exeter Chiefs were brought back down to earth with a bump following last | :19:36. | :19:42.
week's Anglo`Welsh cup win. They were thrashed 45`15 by reigning | :19:43. | :19:45.
champions Leicester Tigers at Welford Road. The only highlights | :19:46. | :19:50.
for the Chiefs were tries in each half for hooker Jack Yeandle and a | :19:51. | :19:53.
club`record equalling fourth Premiership try in four games for | :19:54. | :19:56.
centre Ian Whitten. In the Championship, the Cornish Pirates | :19:57. | :19:58.
beat Nottingham 17`11 at the Mennaye. Plymouth Albion lost 45`10 | :19:59. | :20:01.
at Rotherham and Jersey went down at Ealing Trailfinders 25`23. | :20:02. | :20:05.
Sport Relief has broken all records again this year. On Friday night the | :20:06. | :20:12.
television appeal raised more than ?50 million, and the fundraising | :20:13. | :20:15.
continued here in the South West over the weekend. Thousands of | :20:16. | :20:18.
people took part in events across the region and it's hoped the amount | :20:19. | :20:22.
raised will smash the regional total of ?120,000 raised two years ago. | :20:23. | :20:26.
One of the main events was at the University of St Mark and St John in | :20:27. | :20:31.
Plymouth from where David Fitzgerald reports. | :20:32. | :20:37.
Sunday saw the return of the sport relief mile in Plymouth. On a chilly | :20:38. | :20:43.
morning on the campus of the University of Saint Mark and St | :20:44. | :20:46.
John, hundreds warmed up for the task ahead. | :20:47. | :21:20.
Since 2002, sport relief has raised a staggering amount of money to help | :21:21. | :21:25.
people and communities both in the UK and abroad. Mac `` Sport Relief. | :21:26. | :21:34.
It saw a record total of ?51.2 million. No records were broken but | :21:35. | :21:37.
there was a personal achievement or two as the first of the 500 or so | :21:38. | :21:43.
competitors collected their medals. Not as good as fighting crime, but a | :21:44. | :21:48.
good way to raise money. That was good, the fastest I've ever run. Two | :21:49. | :21:57.
years ago I had never really run. He walks. I did not walk. I still beat | :21:58. | :22:08.
you. Some were using it as a warm up to the Plymouth half marathon but | :22:09. | :22:10.
others were happy to have taken part, got some exercise and raise | :22:11. | :22:17.
money for a great cause. `` raised money. I liked the argument between | :22:18. | :22:26.
the Father and son. Very chilly up their, but fantastic to everyone who | :22:27. | :22:27.
took part. The winter storms hit the headlines | :22:28. | :22:31.
by wrecking the region's railway line and closing many seafront | :22:32. | :22:34.
businesses but the wind, high seas and rain also had an effect on the | :22:35. | :22:38.
south west's wildlife. Dozens of seal pups were washed`up on beaches | :22:39. | :22:41.
around our coastline, many of them so young they had to be hand reared. | :22:42. | :22:45.
Today the RSPCA released three of them in North Devon as Emma | :22:46. | :22:47.
Thomasson reports. It didn't take much to coax Asteroid | :22:48. | :23:01.
out of her travel box. Admit a blaze of publicity, she and two other seal | :23:02. | :23:09.
pups were released. The question on everybody's lips was would they | :23:10. | :23:16.
stick around. It is possible they might head towards Woolacombe or | :23:17. | :23:19.
Ilfracombe and there is a grey seal colony there, just to the left of | :23:20. | :23:25.
the coast as you look out to the sea now. It's possible we might get a | :23:26. | :23:31.
sighting from the wildlife group who do the photo identification of the | :23:32. | :23:36.
grey seals, but as we have the seal tag we will be able to zoom in on | :23:37. | :23:40.
the tag number and reference it to us, and then we can see which seal | :23:41. | :23:46.
it was. The pups were found on beaches in Cornwall earlier in the | :23:47. | :23:49.
year. They had been separated from their mothers during the storms. For | :23:50. | :23:53.
those who came to watch their release, it was a moment to | :23:54. | :23:59.
remember. It was amazing. I really enjoyed it. I would want to see them | :24:00. | :24:07.
again. Whether that will happen is another matter, as within a few | :24:08. | :24:10.
seconds she was gone. Lovely. They know where to go, don't | :24:11. | :24:22.
they? Time for the weather and it has been a bit chilly today. | :24:23. | :24:26.
Let's look at what is happening through the week. We have a fair | :24:27. | :24:31.
amount of cloud at the moment which has produced some pretty awful | :24:32. | :24:35.
weather this afternoon. Windy, cold in the rain. Later this week it's | :24:36. | :24:40.
largely dry but still quite cold because we have easterly winds and | :24:41. | :24:44.
maybe showers around and the risk of more persistent rain on Friday. But | :24:45. | :24:47.
until then, with the easterly winds we tend to get dry weather. But not | :24:48. | :24:53.
right to `` not dry tonight and it was very cold this morning. The | :24:54. | :24:56.
lowest temperatures we have seen this winter, `4 in Exeter first | :24:57. | :25:00.
thing this morning which is a pretty cold start to the day. The cloud has | :25:01. | :25:05.
come in and I don't think we will have any overnight frost. The cloud | :25:06. | :25:09.
is extensive and producing outbreaks of rain but it will be replaced by | :25:10. | :25:13.
showers and briefly temperatures will be as low as two or three | :25:14. | :25:17.
degrees but nowhere near as cold as last night. That band of cloud moves | :25:18. | :25:22.
away over the next 24 hours, but notice that the movement is pretty | :25:23. | :25:25.
slow as it goes into eastern parts of England. Another area of low | :25:26. | :25:29.
pressure develops and runs down to Spain or Portugal, giving us a few | :25:30. | :25:34.
showers in West Cornwall first thing in the morning. Once those move out | :25:35. | :25:38.
of the way, we tend to get an East or north`easterly wind from | :25:39. | :25:43.
Wednesday until the end of the week, which for us is generally quite cold | :25:44. | :25:46.
direction, so the temperatures are down to single figures later this | :25:47. | :25:50.
week. There is the band of rain that's been giving us an awful | :25:51. | :25:53.
afternoon. The rain is moving but it's a slow process. I think we will | :25:54. | :25:58.
eventually get some clear skies across parts of East Devon, into | :25:59. | :26:01.
Dorset and Somerset in the small hours. But showers are returning to | :26:02. | :26:06.
West Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. The lowest temperatures will | :26:07. | :26:10.
be where we get the clear skies, around zero. Most of us should be | :26:11. | :26:15.
two or three degrees above. The showers will be with us first thing | :26:16. | :26:19.
in the morning across West Cornwall but they will move out of the way | :26:20. | :26:22.
and for much of the day it is a decent day with sunshine, the wind | :26:23. | :26:25.
from the North and you will probably need to wrap up warm, but more | :26:26. | :26:29.
showers returning from the east. It is the same weather system coming | :26:30. | :26:34.
back from the East. 11, possibly 12 is the top temperature, so warmer | :26:35. | :26:35.
than today. The northerly winds will slowly come | :26:36. | :27:01.
round and become north`easterly later. | :27:02. | :27:08.
The outlook is for us to remain basically dry on Wednesday. Small | :27:09. | :27:14.
chance of a few sharp showers, some on Thursday, then the risk of | :27:15. | :27:19.
widespread showers on Friday. Temperatures hovering between nine | :27:20. | :27:24.
and ten or 11 degrees. Have a good evening. If you want to see the | :27:25. | :27:29.
lovely seal pup again or share reports with friends, it's on our | :27:30. | :27:33.
Facebook page. 2500 people have watched it already. We will be back | :27:34. | :27:37.
tomorrow at 6:30pm. Good night. Goodbye. | :27:38. | :27:39. |
