training regime has given them the confidence to perform well. It has

been injury free. I just nedd to stay healthy and fit. Everyday, it

is nonstop. I usually take Sunday as a day of and sleep all day! He

throwing further than anyond else. With his coach based in the UK, he

spends the bulk of his time training alone..but that doesn't stop him

pushing himself to the limit. It is a lifestyle choice, not just a

sport. Your whole life revolves around it. I don't view mysdlf as

the most talented, so I had to work harder than everyone else and be

heavyweights. Husband and whfe Thomas and Lindsey Greechan ` hoping

to knock their opponents out. Thomas has already proven he can bdat the

best. He is looking forward to performing on the world stage. It

should be good. Scotland is well supported and bowls so therd should

be a big crowd there to watch. No stranger to success in Glasgow,

Lindsey took gold in the trhples event at the British Isles

Championships last year. Shd's aiming for a podium finish.

Obviously I would like to s`y gold, but I would accept a bronze medal.

The initial thought is to gdt stuck in and play your game and t`ke it as

it comes. I would be very h`ppy with the bronze. There is the

Commonwealth Games flag flyhng alongside Jersey's. It first one in

1990. I met the shooters. Shooting is in their blood. The fathdr and

son duo Colin and Cliff won bronze in the pairs in 1990, the hhghest

competition of its time. `` kind. And that family success continued

when: one gold at the same games. `` when Colin won gold. These `re the

choppy seas but it should bd fine. The rest of the week is prolising,

with strong sunshine and maxbe patchy cloud, but temperatures up to

17 or 18 Celsius come the end of the week. Have a good evening.
