Nearly a third of Year 5 chhldren in Guernsey are overweight or

obese, according to the States latest study.

Health officials say it's a significant concern for the future.

It is important to eat healthy because you need the right `mount of

vitamins. If he did not havd a drink it would be really bad.

Island shows obesity is a problem. One in five

of Year One students measurdd were overweight or obese, increasing to

one in three by Year 5. They are indicating that thhs is a

really significant health worry at a population level for the future

health problems. The causes of this are likely to be lifestyle changes.

And as well as getting exercise diet is a big part of that.
