"The very centre of our family," the daughter of a couple killed | :00:09. | :00:15.
in a plane crash speaks of her loss at their inquest. | :00:16. | :00:17.
The father of murdered Guernsey woman Sarah Groves fears Indian | :00:18. | :00:20.
The pendulum has swung slightly away from him and towards other people. | :00:21. | :00:36.
And I am alive from Glasgow on the latest on how our athletes are | :00:37. | :00:40.
getting on at the Commonwealth Games. | :00:41. | :00:47.
"The life and soul of any gathering," and, | :00:48. | :00:49.
Tributes paid today to the couple who died when their plane ditched in | :00:50. | :00:54.
An inquest into the deaths of Carl and Kathryn Whitely from Derbyshire | :00:55. | :00:59.
The deputy viscount said it was a tragic accident and that | :01:00. | :01:03.
Mr Whitely was an experienced and responsible pilot. | :01:04. | :01:06.
It was an emotional day for Carl and Kathryn Whitely's family. | :01:07. | :01:12.
Their two daughters had made the trip to Jersey to hear exactly | :01:13. | :01:15.
The couple died when their Cessna plane ditched into the sea | :01:16. | :01:21.
off Jersey's coast on their approach to Jersey airport. | :01:22. | :01:24.
And the deputy viscount today broadly | :01:25. | :01:26.
agreed with an earlier air accident investigation that the pilot | :01:27. | :01:29.
Mr Whitely had become disorientated in thick fog, and it was in trying | :01:30. | :01:33.
One of the Whitelys daughters wept as the evidence was heard here | :01:34. | :01:40.
The family didn't want to speak on camera saying they hadn't | :01:41. | :01:44.
learned anything new, but they told me they were grateful | :01:45. | :01:46.
to Jersey's authorities for their help in the investigation. | :01:47. | :01:49.
In a statement, their daughter Sarah described the family as close, | :01:50. | :01:52.
living just a few hundred yards from each other in Derbyshire. | :01:53. | :01:56.
She said Carl and Kathryn were "the life and soul of any gathering" and | :01:57. | :02:04.
The deputy viscount Advocate Mark Harris said it was | :02:05. | :02:19.
Advocate Harris also praised the search and rescue operation that day | :02:20. | :02:23.
which included Jersey's coastguard and lifeboats, as well as a French | :02:24. | :02:26.
helicopter, a Royal Navy warship and a passenger ferry which were in | :02:27. | :02:30.
A comfort amid personal tragedy for their family, but a timely reminder | :02:31. | :02:36.
The father of a young woman from Guernsey who was murdered in India | :02:37. | :02:47.
says he now isn't certain if the man accused of killing her is guilty. | :02:48. | :02:51.
Sarah Groves was stabbed to death whilst staying on a houseboat | :02:52. | :02:54.
A Dutchman has gone on trial but, once again, | :02:55. | :02:59.
Sarah's father Vic spoke to Mike Wilkins about his concerns. | :03:00. | :03:06.
The man accused of murdering Sarah Groves from Guernsey. | :03:07. | :03:09.
For over a year, this Dutchman, Richard De Witt, has been | :03:10. | :03:12.
But Sarah's father told me today that he's now uncertain whether | :03:13. | :03:18.
It is clear that the police didn't go beyond arresting a very | :03:19. | :03:32.
convenient suspect. Nothing I am saying here says De Witt didn't | :03:33. | :03:40.
commit that crime. Because I couldn't be that categoric. But what | :03:41. | :03:44.
has happened is that the pendulum has swung all through this year, | :03:45. | :03:50.
possibly the beginning at the back end of last year, slightly away from | :03:51. | :03:59.
him and towards other people. Despite the slow progress in court, | :04:00. | :04:00.
there has been other developments. Recently, the Groves family has | :04:01. | :04:03.
received assistance from the States Sarah's father is also due to meet | :04:04. | :04:06.
Foreign Office officials in a few weeks time | :04:07. | :04:10.
as he battles to find out more and I am not sympathising with the guy. | :04:11. | :04:19.
I can't reiterate too much, he will be the guilty party, but I won't be | :04:20. | :04:25.
happy of the verdict was passed next week, I won't be happy we have had | :04:26. | :04:30.
justice. I won't be happy that the perpetrator of that crime was | :04:31. | :04:32.
definitely the guy behind bars. As challenging as it is, the family | :04:33. | :04:34.
is determined to keep the pressure They are now appealing | :04:35. | :04:37.
for anyone who has stayed on this houseboat and met the owners to come | :04:38. | :04:41.
forward as their own private The former | :04:42. | :04:44.
Jersey Senator Stuart Syvret has been ordered to pay the States | :04:45. | :04:50.
Treasurer legal costs of ?68,000. The costs relate to | :04:51. | :04:54.
a 2011 conviction for data protection offences, and | :04:55. | :04:57.
a failed attempt to sue the States. Mr Syvret said the ruling | :04:58. | :05:01.
by Jersey's Royal Court was likely to bankrupt him, | :05:02. | :05:03.
and claimed it was an attempt to prevent him standing in October's | :05:04. | :05:06.
general election as bankrupt As Jersey's economy grows, | :05:07. | :05:10.
the States should consider raising taxes or cutting services | :05:11. | :05:16.
if it wants to reduce its deficit. The Fiscal Policy Panel's advice | :05:17. | :05:19.
comes a week after the new budget revealed a shortfall | :05:20. | :05:21.
of over ?30 million between the money the government is spending | :05:22. | :05:25.
and the revenue it receives. The Panel says that keeping taxes | :05:26. | :05:28.
down and allowing such a budget deficit IS fine while | :05:29. | :05:31.
the island recovers from recession. You're watching the BBC | :05:32. | :05:35.
in the Channel Islands. Later in Spotlight with Justin | :05:36. | :05:37.
and Natalie, maritime history on display as | :05:38. | :05:39.
classic vessels gather for a rally. New personal bests, | :05:40. | :05:47.
Island records smashed It's been another busy day | :05:48. | :05:50.
of competition for our athletes at day two of the | :05:51. | :05:54.
Commonwealth Games in Glasgow. Guernsey and Jersey have sent | :05:55. | :05:58.
their largest teams ever to We've sent Edward Sault | :05:59. | :06:00.
and he's been busy too. Thank you, Clare, | :06:01. | :06:05.
and welcome to another sunny I'm in my shirt sleeves by the banks | :06:06. | :06:21.
of the Clyde, that is how warm it is. | :06:22. | :06:23.
In squash, Guernsey's Chris Simpson beat Ryan Cuskelly | :06:24. | :06:25.
of Australia 3`1 to make it through to the quarter finals tomorrow. | :06:26. | :06:28.
He'll play world champion Nick Matthew in that match. | :06:29. | :06:30.
Jersey's badminton team were beaten 5`0 by England | :06:31. | :06:33.
The defeat means the island must defeat | :06:34. | :06:37.
Jersey's team includes three previous England players. | :06:38. | :06:42.
Elsewhere, it was a disappointing morning | :06:43. | :06:44.
for the Channel Islands in the 10m pistol and rifle shooting events. | :06:45. | :06:47.
Jersey's Nikki Holmes missed out on a place in the finals | :06:48. | :06:50.
as did David Turner and Guernsey girls Tara Leneh and Nikki Trebert. | :06:51. | :06:56.
In swimming, Island records have been falling in the pool. | :06:57. | :06:58.
Guernsey's Courtney Butcher swam 27.48 in the 50m Freestyle | :06:59. | :07:04.
Guernsey's men's 4x100 freestyle relay team couldn't progress past | :07:05. | :07:10.
the heats but broke the previous island record | :07:11. | :07:13.
But good news for Jersey's Ian Black, | :07:14. | :07:17.
he's through to the semi`finals of the hundred metre breaststroke. | :07:18. | :07:20.
He broke his personal best and set an island record with | :07:21. | :07:23.
a time of one minute, four point four three seconds. | :07:24. | :07:34.
Every time you break it, it is such an amazing feeling. It is good. This | :07:35. | :07:43.
is what we train for every day. You don't come here for a little paddle. | :07:44. | :07:45.
You get into it. While the swimmers kept cool | :07:46. | :07:51.
in the pool, the lawn bowlers played in the full | :07:52. | :07:53.
sunshine at the Kelvingrove centre. In the last hour, Guernsey Men's | :07:54. | :07:56.
Triples team lost against Jersey, Jersey?s women 4's team were | :07:57. | :07:58.
in action against another group Under the hot Glasgow sunshine, | :07:59. | :08:08.
Jersey were competing for a place in the quarterfinals. The women's falls | :08:09. | :08:19.
at the Cook Island as competitors. Jersey started today's match | :08:20. | :08:23.
confident and took a lead after five ends. But the relaxed approach from | :08:24. | :08:29.
the Cook Islands change the game around. Although Jersey played some | :08:30. | :08:36.
closely placed shot 's, there were also some frustrating ones. The Cook | :08:37. | :08:42.
Islands Bowles kept getting close to the jack. In the end, Jersey lost | :08:43. | :08:48.
seven points to 12. You've got to do the best on the day and sometimes it | :08:49. | :08:53.
goes for you, sometimes it doesn't. This morning, against the Cook | :08:54. | :08:57.
Islands, it didn't go quite right for us. Yes, they slowed us down, we | :08:58. | :09:03.
are used to a quicker pace of bowling. They slowed the game right | :09:04. | :09:08.
down, which got us out of our usual rhythm. The Jersey women's fours | :09:09. | :09:11.
hope to regain their rhythm as they need one more wind over the next two | :09:12. | :09:16.
matches in the group stage in the hope to secure a place in the | :09:17. | :09:18.
quarterfinals. Plenty to watch out for on the BBC | :09:19. | :09:21.
this weekend. In less than two hours you can see | :09:22. | :09:25.
how Jersey's Ian Black gets on in the men's 100m breast stroke | :09:26. | :09:28.
semifinal. Tomorrow, Guernsey's Chris Simpson | :09:29. | :09:34.
will be competing in the squash quarterfinals and on Sunday | :09:35. | :09:39.
the action starts in athletics. Zane Duquemin will be throwing | :09:40. | :09:43.
in the Shot put qualifiers so watch And of course BBC Radio Guernsey | :09:44. | :09:46.
and BBC Radio Jersey will keep you From sport to music, | :09:47. | :09:51.
and Jersey singer Nerina Pallot is back in the Island for a show | :09:52. | :10:03.
at the Opera House tomorrow. She's been nominated for Brit | :10:04. | :10:06.
and Ivor Novello awards in the past and this year she's | :10:07. | :10:08.
releasing an EP, or a mini album, Luckily, she found time | :10:09. | :10:12.
for a chat with me earlier, in her Nerina, singer`songwriter, | :10:13. | :10:33.
guitarist, pianist, and a mother. A busy lady. Why is it so important to | :10:34. | :10:40.
do these homecoming gigs? It is a chance for a holiday, obviously, but | :10:41. | :10:44.
there's nothing better than the thrill of coming back to the place | :10:45. | :10:48.
where you grew up and I love the Opera house. It is just my favourite | :10:49. | :10:52.
venue in the world. I used to stand on the stage as a kid, and it was | :10:53. | :10:57.
always there in the back of my mind that I would do my own show. For | :10:58. | :11:02.
children in Jersey, is there enough access to premises and teachers and | :11:03. | :11:06.
instruments to get into music? I think it is really easy in Jersey | :11:07. | :11:09.
and it is very well funded in schools, not as private teachers. | :11:10. | :11:15.
When I was growing up, at least, everybody had the opportunity to | :11:16. | :11:19.
learn an instrument, probably two, and there were choirs with the | :11:20. | :11:24.
Jersey youth Orchestra, and we would get the National Theatre visiting, | :11:25. | :11:27.
it was very vibrant, and the standard of teaching is excellent. I | :11:28. | :11:32.
was very lucky. Would you advise your own son to get into music as a | :11:33. | :11:38.
career? That is such a difficult question! I cannot say no, but it is | :11:39. | :11:43.
tough, and you have to grow as thick as a rhinoceros, but it's | :11:44. | :11:46.
the thing I love. Which The waves are very small, but they | :11:47. | :14:08.
pick up in the second half of the weekend. The reason for that is the | :14:09. | :14:13.
breeze on Sunday. Cream the temperatures back down to 21 or 22. | :14:14. | :14:19.
Next week, fine weather, north`westerly wind direction with | :14:20. | :14:21.
temperatures back where they should be at this time of year. | :14:22. | :14:27.
Have a nice weekend. That is how the news and weather is looking at this | :14:28. | :14:32.
time. We will be back at 10:25pm with updates from the Commonwealth | :14:33. | :14:36.
Games, and I am back on Monday evening with even more sport from | :14:37. | :14:40.
Glasgow. And hopefully a bit of news chucked in there as well. Have a | :14:41. | :14:42.
good weekend. Coming up next, going for gold at | :14:43. | :14:56.
the Commonwealth Games, plus, how this ancient design has provided the | :14:57. | :15:01.
inspiration for a brand`new garden. And joined me in Sutton Harbour on | :15:02. | :15:06.
what has been a glorious day. We have always seen the glorious return | :15:07. | :15:08.
of some of our wartime fleet. It's a big night | :15:09. | :15:19.
for two south`west athletes at 19`year`old Ben Proud from Plymouth | :15:20. | :15:21.
is favourite to win gold in the 50m butterfly and Exeter's | :15:22. | :15:25.
Liam Tancock attempts to retain Spotlight's Dave Gibbins has more | :15:26. | :15:27.
on that, along with the rest of Ben Proud goes into this evening's | :15:28. | :15:32.
50m butterfly final with the fastest | :15:33. | :15:37.
qualifying time under his belt. He even took one`hundredth of | :15:38. | :15:42.
a second off his previous time when So on his debut in the Commonwealth | :15:43. | :15:45.
games, Proud is looking good for a gold | :15:46. | :15:48.
medal, thanks to all the hard work We have just been practising, | :15:49. | :15:52.
getting the final details, a lot of international racing to try | :15:53. | :16:01.
and get me to the sort of events so Coming from nowhere to finish second | :16:02. | :16:05.
in the 100m backstroke The reigning Commonwealth champion | :16:06. | :16:13.
has been suffering from injury but is still eyeing up a medal | :16:14. | :16:18.
in tonight's final. Yes, I feel pretty good, | :16:19. | :16:22.
not too bad. Not had the best season, | :16:23. | :16:25.
but it is not about what you do, Plymouth Leander's Jamila Lunkuse | :16:26. | :16:27.
was unlucky not to have qualified The Ugandan won her heat this | :16:28. | :16:33.
morning, but her time was beaten by her rivals in other heats, | :16:34. | :16:39.
so she misses out. Torquay lawn bowler Sophie Tolchard | :16:40. | :16:47.
is in top form as she's helping England progress through the early | :16:48. | :16:49.
rounds in the women's fours. They have already accounted for | :16:50. | :16:52.
Canada and are confident of reaching And in our late news at 10:25, we'll | :16:53. | :16:54.
be getting reaction to Ben Proud and Ben goes just after seven | :16:55. | :17:05.
and again at 9:25pm Next week, Dave will be in Glasgow | :17:06. | :17:11.
to bring us the latest news on south`west competitors | :17:12. | :17:19.
in the Commonwealth Games. Exciting, isn't it, plenty to keep | :17:20. | :17:26.
an eye on. One of the south`west's oldest | :17:27. | :17:29.
houses is giving visitors But as BBC Radio Cornwall's James | :17:30. | :17:32.
Churchfield has been finding out, the design at Trerice in Cornwall | :17:33. | :17:36.
demanded a fresh take Every year, 65,000 people make | :17:37. | :17:38.
their way to The National Trust property of Trerice, near Newquay, | :17:39. | :17:43.
to enjoy this Tudor building. Part of that attraction is this | :17:44. | :17:47.
magnificent plasterwork from 1570. But now, those intricate mouldings | :17:48. | :17:52.
have provided the inspiration for a new way to enjoy | :17:53. | :17:55.
the historic attraction. Staff have been busy for months | :17:56. | :18:07.
transforming part of the grounds into an Elizabethan | :18:08. | :18:09.
style knot garden, and it has been a real challenge, | :18:10. | :18:11.
with so little known about how We did archaeological surveys, | :18:12. | :18:14.
we did some digs, geophysical surveys, like Time Team, | :18:15. | :18:18.
and that sort of thing. It didn't give us many more clues, | :18:19. | :18:20.
to be honest, site in the end we We found the end the best thing to | :18:21. | :18:24.
work was the ceilings, with these geometric shapes, | :18:25. | :18:28.
which was a great idea, and it works perfectly, because that is how | :18:29. | :18:30.
knock gardens were laid out then. works perfectly, because that is how | :18:31. | :18:33.
knot gardens were laid out then. But to lay it out is quite | :18:34. | :18:36.
a challenge, because it has to be absolutely right, otherwise it looks | :18:37. | :18:39.
awkward and ugly. The 25`metre`square design includes | :18:40. | :18:41.
lavender, roses and oregano, And while the hot, dry summer | :18:42. | :18:43.
is taking its toll, it shouldn't We did plant it all at | :18:44. | :18:48.
the right time, that is the secret, planted in the winter and early | :18:49. | :18:54.
spring to get it established before They are a bit stressed | :18:55. | :18:57.
because it has been over hot, but as soon as we get a couple of cooler | :18:58. | :19:03.
days, they will pick up again. And even | :19:04. | :19:07.
before it officially opened, the garden attracted many more | :19:08. | :19:08.
visitors to the beautiful blooms. It looks like this year's honey | :19:09. | :19:11.
harvest will be lavender flavoured. Very neat and tidy, that garden. Not | :19:12. | :19:26.
like mine at all, it is just full of weeds. | :19:27. | :19:29.
James is a blade, after his breakfast show. `` a plate. | :19:30. | :19:36.
Boats dating back more than 100 years in some cases are gathering | :19:37. | :19:38.
in Plymouth for an annual celebration of maritime history. | :19:39. | :19:41.
Some of the fleet in the Sutton Harbour Classic Boat Rally | :19:42. | :19:43.
Simon Clemison is live in Plymouth tonight. | :19:44. | :19:48.
A very good evening to you, Justin and Natalie. St Tropez, Monaco? No, | :19:49. | :19:56.
this is Plymouth, just take a look at it tonight. We could be abroad. | :19:57. | :20:00.
One of the boats in the rally just arriving now, other people sitting | :20:01. | :20:04.
enjoying themselves late into the evening and it couldn't have felt | :20:05. | :20:08.
more like some today. People have been diving in to the pools to cool | :20:09. | :20:15.
off, they have been gathering on the quayside, grabbing an ice cream, | :20:16. | :20:18.
heading on to the merry`go`round which is just coming to a halt, but | :20:19. | :20:24.
these are the real stars of the show. They look like ordinary yachts | :20:25. | :20:27.
but they come with quite a bit of history. | :20:28. | :20:32.
There are no more human links with the First World War and memories of | :20:33. | :20:36.
the second are ever more scarce, but some who were there in Britain's | :20:37. | :20:41.
darkest hours live on. Built in Plymouth in 1938, this is where some | :20:42. | :20:45.
of the last allies climbed aboard as they were rescued from Dunkirk. The | :20:46. | :20:51.
pleasure craft conscripted by the Navy had come alongside the pier | :20:52. | :20:56.
because the water was so full of sunken vessels. We didn't see the | :20:57. | :21:00.
troops coming aboard, but this boat did. Yes, this was a family pleasure | :21:01. | :21:06.
boat that went to Dunkirk, did its war service, came back and did more | :21:07. | :21:10.
and then went back to being a family pleasure boat. Back to being the | :21:11. | :21:14.
pleasure craft it was always intended to be. That is right. While | :21:15. | :21:20.
some of the war fleet have enjoyed a happy retirement, others merely went | :21:21. | :21:24.
to rack and ruin. In the First World War, this great vessel survived | :21:25. | :21:30.
attacks by four German torpedo boats but nearly didn't survive the | :21:31. | :21:34.
decades since. Respect is not reserved solely for the people who | :21:35. | :21:38.
fought in the Armed Forces. This owner has been lovingly working away | :21:39. | :21:43.
a restoration project. When we first took the boat on, nobody mentioned | :21:44. | :21:47.
the First World War. This has developed since we had the vessel. | :21:48. | :21:51.
We found out that little boat sank a German destroyer, it is amazing. I | :21:52. | :21:56.
hate seeing things wasted. The Heritage in this country is so rich, | :21:57. | :22:01.
but it is wasted. Not here, there is heritage mooring in every birth. | :22:02. | :22:10.
Wartime vessels are joined by 17 others from the South West and | :22:11. | :22:12.
beyond, each with its own story of survival. | :22:13. | :22:14.
We have had a few very good years with a lot of interesting boats. And | :22:15. | :22:21.
the reputation of the event has grown, it is a wonderful apathy here | :22:22. | :22:25.
for an event. The boats are right at the heart of the city. And success | :22:26. | :22:30.
means there will be more newcomers enjoying the show this weekend. | :22:31. | :22:44.
Those who served their country in the most difficult of times are | :22:45. | :22:56.
catching the eye and finding glory once again. | :22:57. | :22:59.
It really has been a very busy day down here and there does seem to be | :23:00. | :23:03.
a growing appetite for the restoration of these boats and given | :23:04. | :23:06.
the sort of evening here you can spend on them, it is easy to see | :23:07. | :23:08.
why. Thank you, Simon, and on an evening | :23:09. | :23:12.
like this, there is no better place to be than down by the water. David, | :23:13. | :23:15.
lots going on this weekend, lots of visitors heading here for the | :23:16. | :23:17.
holidays. How is the weather shaping up? | :23:18. | :23:18.
They won't be disappointed. Temperatures won't be so high, which | :23:19. | :23:22.
won't be such a bad thing, it has been unbearably hot for a lot of us | :23:23. | :23:25.
in the night`time, but I'm going to start with Scotland and have a look | :23:26. | :23:28.
at the weather for a lot of us in the night`time, but I'm going to | :23:29. | :23:30.
start with Scotland and have a look at see an outbreak of rain with low | :23:31. | :23:34.
pressure bringing unsettled conditions, and cooler as we head | :23:35. | :23:40.
into Sunday. The marathon is on Sunday, back then to 17 or 18, which | :23:41. | :23:46.
will be appreciated by the runners. Back to us, we do have fine weather | :23:47. | :23:50.
to look forward to. Slightly cooler with more of a breeze developing and | :23:51. | :23:54.
mainly dry. There will be some sunshine, not the wall`to`wall blue | :23:55. | :24:00.
skies we have seen recently, and it is not completely dry, but there is | :24:01. | :24:04.
the lump of cloud approaching Ireland and western Scotland and | :24:05. | :24:07.
buried amongst that Lott is a cold weather front. It will do just that, | :24:08. | :24:13.
introduce slightly colder conditions as it drops down. Towards Ireland | :24:14. | :24:17.
and the north of Wales by the end of tomorrow but overnight for us, it | :24:18. | :24:21.
creeps in and by Sunday, it has moved through to the eastern side of | :24:22. | :24:25.
England, introducing frigid conditions and a bit more on the way | :24:26. | :24:30.
of cloud and a breeze, certainly helping things along. I mention | :24:31. | :24:34.
showers, there aren't many compared to the big showers we saw | :24:35. | :24:39.
yesterday. There are some dotted around here and there and there | :24:40. | :24:42.
could well be a few more overnight. The once moving through Bristol | :24:43. | :24:45.
tonight may well travel further west and fizzle out as they do so, so | :24:46. | :24:50.
largely dry overnight, a lot of clear skies and another very warm | :24:51. | :24:55.
night for most of us, 16 or 17 degrees. It is the night`time | :24:56. | :24:58.
temperatures people are suffering with. Overnight Saturday and into | :24:59. | :25:03.
Sunday, we will notice a drop in those temperatures. Tomorrow, | :25:04. | :25:06.
another lovely day, more cloud coming in from the West and the | :25:07. | :25:11.
north`west. That is the change. There is the small possibility of a | :25:12. | :25:15.
shower turning up late in the day, but much of the day is fine and dry. | :25:16. | :25:19.
More clout than we have seen recently and just a little bit | :25:20. | :25:25.
cooler, it shouldn't go overboard `` cloud. Along the coast of Devon and | :25:26. | :25:29.
Cornwall, more cloud and with a breeze from the north`west, it will | :25:30. | :25:34.
feel fresher. That is the focus of the Isles of Scilly, sunny spells | :25:35. | :25:37.
and clouding over but remaining dry and a much more comfortable | :25:38. | :25:41.
temperature of 20 degrees. Onto the times of high water... | :25:42. | :25:53.
For our surfers, there is a bit more of a wave. See temperatures between | :25:54. | :26:03.
18 and 19 degrees, I don't remember many summers when we have had that | :26:04. | :26:07.
for our sea temperature. I have looked at the temperatures all | :26:08. | :26:10.
through the week, inland temperatures, and they have been 25 | :26:11. | :26:15.
degrees or above pretty much all of this week. I can't remember a week | :26:16. | :26:19.
in July when we have had consistently high temperatures like | :26:20. | :26:22.
that. It is cooler along the coastline, this is the coastal | :26:23. | :26:28.
waters forecast. Perhaps increasing later in the day, generally fair | :26:29. | :26:32.
with good visibility out at sea but still bad haze around. It went clear | :26:33. | :26:36.
until the cold front goes through. It may introduce a shower overnight | :26:37. | :26:41.
into Sunday, then we look at the temperatures, 20, 20 1 degrees on | :26:42. | :26:46.
Sunday. That is 70 in Fahrenheit. Next week, the chance of some | :26:47. | :26:50.
showers around on Monday, not everywhere but a few dotted around | :26:51. | :26:54.
which will help clear the air and again, similar temperatures. Tuesday | :26:55. | :26:58.
is fine day with a similar temperature. Next week is mainly dry | :26:59. | :27:02.
apart from a few showers, but for all of us, and much more comfortable | :27:03. | :27:05.
temperature, about where they should be at this time of year. Have a nice | :27:06. | :27:10.
weekend. Thank you, I for 1am looking forward | :27:11. | :27:14.
to cooler temperatures. That will be fantastic. | :27:15. | :27:19.
Just a little bit. We will leave you tonight with a gorgeous shot of the | :27:20. | :27:23.
south of France... No, it is the Barbican. Good night. | :27:24. | :27:28. |
