A 23-year-old rapper from Maida Vale, is believed to be one of a

number of suspects being investigated by security forces for

the murder of the American journalist James Foley, in Syria.

It is believed that this is a keen rapper who grew up in central

London. He is called Abdel-Majed Abdel Bary. He is thought to be a

key suspect in the investigation of the murder of James Foley. All of a

sudden last year he decided he would give up his rather plush home in

London, and he was radicalised, probably by the same sort of people

that radicalised the two people who killed Lee Rigby. Militants have

posted a video online showing James Foley being beheaded by an Islamic

State fighter. It is too graphic to show but the apparent killer appears

to speak with a London accent. As a government, you have been at the

forefront of the aggression towards Islamic State... That accent is now

going to be scrutinised by specialists. My opinion, from

listening to that short sample, was that this was a native English

speaker, younger generation, probably from London, south London.

But also there were influences in his speech from other languages one

his speech from other languages, one of which, in my opinion, might be

fastening. Just one year ago, Abdel-Majed Abdel Bary he was living

here in Maida Vale, with his family. -- might be Farsi. This is not the

first time that he has made headlines, this could be him

clutching a severed head, although it cannot be verified. And his

father is an Egyptian refugee facing terror charges in America. Look at

some of his Twitter pictures, he posted a number of pictures with his

father, saying "I shall see you in Paradise", he is obviously a figure

of some importance. Given that around 400 British citizens are now

believed to have fought in Syria, identifying the killer of James

Foley will no doubt be a difficult task. The Home Office would not

comment on this particular case but it has said that its priority is to

dissuade people from travelling to areas of conflict like Syria and

Iraq. It insisted has wide-ranging powers, including prosecuting those

who break the law. -- it insisted it has.

Tens of thousands of partygoers and 6000 police officers have headed to

west London for the first day of the Notting Hill Carnival. Today was

children's Day, it's all family friendly floats making their way

towards Ladbroke Grove. That August bank holiday in the capital can only

mean one thing, the Notting Hill Carnival. -- it saw family friendly

floats. The smell of jerk chicken and curried goat filling the air a

month wonderful costumes. Today is traditionally known as children s

day in the carnival, by the end of today, more than half a million

people will have taken to the streets of Notting Hill gate. We

love it, we come every year, we dance and we have fun! Dance and

old enough to come down to the Carnival, so we brought her down.

Organisers say that this years event marks the first milestone in the

build-up to its 50th anniversary in 2016. Planning with the
