A national service of thanksgiving for the Queen

:00:00.:00:00.

A specially composed anthem is sung at St Paul's for the Queen

:00:00.:00:21.

where she also hears a reading from Sir David

:00:22.:00:23.

Truly, if you put your hand into the hand of God, that shall be to you,

:00:24.:00:36.

better than light and safer than a known way.

:00:37.:00:38.

Today's service marks the start of a weekend of celebrations

:00:39.:00:41.

Labour warns they are haemorraghing support for the referendum

:00:42.:00:46.

with increasing numbers of supporters wanting

:00:47.:00:47.

Thousands line the streets as Mohammed Ali's funeral cortege

:00:48.:00:53.

Unprecedented security in Paris as fans gather

:00:54.:00:58.

I knew how much expectation there would be and I didn't

:00:59.:01:08.

And JK Rowling on the pressure for her play about that

:01:09.:01:12.

Coming up on BBC News, I'm live in Paris for Euro 2016 Sportsday, as we

:01:13.:01:25.

look ahead to the start of the tournament.

:01:26.:01:46.

Good evening and welcome to the BBC news at Six.

:01:47.:01:48.

A national service of thanksgiving has taken place at

:01:49.:01:50.

St Paul's Cathedral - to mark the Queen's 90th birthday.

:01:51.:01:53.

It's the beginning of three days of events to mark the official

:01:54.:01:56.

birthday celebrations - after the Queen turned 90 in April.

:01:57.:01:58.

The service was attended by members of the Royal Family -

:01:59.:02:01.

including the Duke of Edinburgh - on his own 95th birthday.

:02:02.:02:08.

Our Royal Correspondent Nick Witchell has more.

:02:09.:02:19.

It is the nation's official expression of thanks for the long

:02:20.:02:21.

Her 90 years are what occasions a state celebration such as this

:02:22.:02:25.

Between them, they have known 1le 85 years of life's experiences,

:02:26.:02:28.

90 years in the case of the Queen, 95 years in the case of the Duke -

:02:29.:02:32.

But it's the long life of a monarch that brings together a congregation

:02:33.:02:36.

within St Paul's Cathedral for a National Service of

:02:37.:02:38.

Thanksgiving, a moment for gratitude for this monarch's qualities.

:02:39.:02:40.

For her faithful devotion, dutiful commitment, loving

:02:41.:02:42.

leadership, gentle constancy, royal dignity and kindly humanity.

:02:43.:02:55.

She's been known to tell clergymen not to overdo the praise

:02:56.:02:59.

on occasions much like this but as family members

:03:00.:03:01.

who will follow in her footsteps and politicians whose

:03:02.:03:05.

time on the national stage come and go listen,

:03:06.:03:07.

the Archbishop of Canterbury defined a contribution to national life,

:03:08.:03:09.

the like of which we will not see again.

:03:10.:03:13.

So we look back on Your Majesty's 90 years in the life

:03:14.:03:16.

of our nation with deep wonder and profound gratitude.

:03:17.:03:21.

Through war and hardship, through turmoil and change,

:03:22.:03:25.

Your Majesty, today we rejoice for the way in which God's

:03:26.:03:28.

loving care has fearfully and wonderfully sustained you.

:03:29.:03:32.

As well as Prince Philip marking his 95th birthday today...

:03:33.:03:37.

Reflections on the passing of the years, written

:03:38.:03:41.

by one 90-year-old, the Paddington Bear creator,

:03:42.:03:48.

Michael Bond, read by another 90-year-old, David Attenborough,

:03:49.:03:50.

featured words used by the Queen's father, George VI when Britain stood

:03:51.:03:52.

"Truly, if you put your hand into the hand of God,

:03:53.:04:01.

that shall be to you better than light and safer

:04:02.:04:05.

Members of different faith groups joined an act of thanksgiving -

:04:06.:04:15.

a reminder of how Britain has changed during the course

:04:16.:04:18.

One feature, though, has remained constant,

:04:19.:04:25.

and for that person on this day, the congregation sang

:04:26.:04:28.

the National Anthem with more than usual feeling.

:04:29.:04:30.

The Queen left St Paul's, steadying herself on a specially

:04:31.:04:41.

At 90, a fully engaged Head of State on the first of three days,

:04:42.:04:47.

And that programme of events continues tomorrow, the Queen's

:04:48.:05:04.

official birthday, marked by the Trooping of the Colour. Fobbed bien

:05:05.:05:13.

a appearance of the Royal Family on the ball Connie, with a And guests

:05:14.:05:22.

that have paid ?150 each for a ticket to attend The Mall members of

:05:23.:05:29.

charities that the Queen is patron. All we need is decent weather.

:05:30.:05:31.

Senior Labour figures have told the BBC that the party

:05:32.:05:35.

is haemorrhaging support in the EU referendum.

:05:36.:05:36.

The former leader, Ed Miliband warned today that the outcome

:05:37.:05:40.

of the referendum is in doubt, and not enough Labour

:05:41.:05:44.

voters realise the party supports staying IN the EU.

:05:45.:05:48.

Our Deputy Political Editor John Pienaar reports from West Bromwich.

:05:49.:05:54.

Labour supporters mocking Boris Johnson for snatching Labour

:05:55.:05:56.

The Shadow Minister, out trying to get them back,

:05:57.:06:00.

was finding no-one home, today's appeal - stick with us,

:06:01.:06:02.

Labour is clear, Labour is for united, Labour

:06:03.:06:07.

is for Remain but we think it is better for Labour values,

:06:08.:06:10.

better for social justice, better for when there is a Labour

:06:11.:06:12.

government to be able to make sure we build the fairer country we need.

:06:13.:06:16.

Here in Labour West Bromwich, the thing that is troubling voters

:06:17.:06:19.

Migration into Britain, celebrated by Labour politicians,

:06:20.:06:24.

disliked by so many of their voters, appeal or no appeal,

:06:25.:06:28.

Try asking in the High Street or on a visit to the local barber.

:06:29.:06:35.

Matt, where are you, in or out?

:06:36.:06:37.

I am swaying towards out due to the immigration.

:06:38.:06:39.

I think a lot of immigrants are coming in too fast

:06:40.:06:41.

What about a lot of immigrants are working in the NHS

:06:42.:06:47.

that is helping to make the NHS work?

:06:48.:06:48.

Yes, well, they are already in position.

:06:49.:06:50.

I'm worried about the ones coming through.

:06:51.:06:52.

I don't know if we can cope with the amount.

:06:53.:06:58.

Picking the winner in the referendum is anyone's guess.

:06:59.:07:00.

Probably a majority of Labour voters, are knowledgeably,

:07:01.:07:11.

knowingly voting to leave, and the voting to leave

:07:12.:07:20.

It is not working for the working classes in this country.

:07:21.:07:25.

In Labour territory, if people don't vote to remain in,

:07:26.:07:27.

Over a brew, you hear the same thing time and again.

:07:28.:07:31.

Immigration is the main factor for my decision.

:07:32.:07:43.

We do a lot for all countries around the world, bailing them

:07:44.:07:47.

out of their problems but at home in this country...

:07:48.:07:49.

Come here, come anywhere deeper into Labour territory,

:07:50.:08:09.

you can see why Labour incampaigners are telling me they are not just

:08:10.:08:12.

A lot of people just want to kick the establishment and poster slogans

:08:13.:08:18.

about taking back control can sound good if you are feeling overlooked

:08:19.:08:20.

If Britain votes to leave, the next day,

:08:21.:08:26.

a lot of Labour supporters, not all about a lot, just stop

:08:27.:08:29.

Labour has a problem in the heartland, a senior Labour

:08:30.:08:39.

Labour insource told me "we are very, very worried".

:08:40.:08:42.

Just now, the Labour leave message is reaching parts they can't.

:08:43.:08:44.

John Pienaar, BBC News, West Bromwich.

:08:45.:08:46.

There have been renewed warnings from Germany

:08:47.:08:48.

The country's Finance Minister, Wolfgang Schaeuble, said

:08:49.:08:50.

if Britain votes to leave, it would not be able

:08:51.:08:53.

to access the single market, as Norway and Switzerland do.

:08:54.:08:55.

Our Economics Editor Kamal Ahmed is here with me.

:08:56.:08:59.

Michael Gove, a senior figure in the Leave campaign says

:09:00.:09:04.

he doesn't want to be in the single market.

:09:05.:09:07.

I think it is significant. What we are seeing is nervousness in the

:09:08.:09:13.

other countries of the European Union, about the outcome, what it

:09:14.:09:18.

will be on June 23rd. We are seeing an approach, a little carrot and

:09:19.:09:25.

stick. Stick from Mr Schaueble, who says if we left we would be ejected

:09:26.:09:34.

from the single market and marrow Enzi, who said it would be a

:09:35.:09:38.

disaster for Britain if we left the European Union. And there is a

:09:39.:09:47.

remarkable edition in Der Speigle, saying "please don't go. "

:09:48.:09:51.

Encouraging a love letter to Britain, saying we are so important,

:09:52.:09:57.

no the to leave. But the issue to them is not a side show but less

:09:58.:10:00.

important in thought in the European Union. They say that Britain is a

:10:01.:10:04.

huge economy, the second largest in Europe. The European Union countries

:10:05.:10:09.

want to trade with us, there would be some form of free trade deal

:10:10.:10:13.

whatever the outcome of the vote on June the 23rd. Interestingly, the

:10:14.:10:19.

reason that this will be growing in problem for European countries is

:10:20.:10:23.

the concern it is too close to call as John Pienaar said. I am told by

:10:24.:10:30.

people close to Linton Crosby, for that this is on a knife-edge. I'm

:10:31.:10:36.

The zoo in Cumbria where one of its keepers was mauled to death

:10:37.:10:41.

by a Sumatran tiger has been fined just over a quarter

:10:42.:10:44.

24-year-old Sarah McClay was attacked in the keeper's

:10:45.:10:47.

corridor of the tiger house at South Lakes Safari Zoo,

:10:48.:10:49.

in Dalton-in-Furness, three years ago.

:10:50.:10:50.

The company admitted breaking health and safety laws.

:10:51.:10:56.

He was, in his own words, the greatest.

:10:57.:10:58.

Thousands have lined the streets of Louisville, Kentucky

:10:59.:11:00.

to say goodbye to the sporting icon Muhammad Ali as his coffin is taken

:11:01.:11:04.

in a procession from his childhood home.

:11:05.:11:06.

Up to 18,000 people are expected for the service -

:11:07.:11:08.

joining world leaders and sporting stars.

:11:09.:11:09.

Our North America Editor Jon Sopel is in Louisville for us.

:11:10.:11:19.

Scenes of real affect for Ali, as the cortege made its way through the

:11:20.:11:28.

town? Yes, extraordinary scenes. From across America, around the

:11:29.:11:34.

world, people converged on Louisville to pay respects to

:11:35.:11:38.

Muhammad Ali, the king of Jordan among them and more striking, the

:11:39.:11:42.

ordinary people who have waited for hours in the baking sunshine to pay

:11:43.:11:46.

their respects to the man that they called the greatest.

:11:47.:11:51.

The man that they call the Louisville Lip on the final lap. At

:11:52.:12:01.

the funeral particle your, the family members and pall bearers

:12:02.:12:08.

gather, like Mike Tyson, as his coffin is loaded into the hers.

:12:09.:12:15.

A final journey to take in the streets where he grew up, around the

:12:16.:12:21.

city that was home but where he also fought the segregation of 1960

:12:22.:12:24.

America. Ali! And along the way, the streets

:12:25.:12:31.

are literally echoing to his name. Ali! Ali! Lining the route, those

:12:32.:12:38.

whose lives he touched and the people that knew him as a friend.

:12:39.:12:44.

What was he likes a a man? Funny. He had a great sense of humour. He

:12:45.:12:50.

would do magical tricks. When you leave Ali, I have always

:12:51.:12:59.

thought Mmm, as he always had something to say on wisdom. I was

:13:00.:13:05.

very sad and I'm still sad. But he left a legacy that will keep going.

:13:06.:13:10.

He just left for a short time. But he is still here, he lives in all of

:13:11.:13:14.

us. Since his death, this has become a

:13:15.:13:18.

make shift shrine, where people come to live together. I spoke to the

:13:19.:13:23.

Reverend Jesse Jackson. It is a sad day and a glad day, sad

:13:24.:13:30.

because of the loss of the special genius of Muhammad Ali, his

:13:31.:13:35.

contribution. Sad as we will miss him but his life, his less assy and

:13:36.:13:41.

his music, as it were, lives on. It may be over 50 years since he

:13:42.:13:46.

fought battles on race and the Vietnam War, and 50 years since he

:13:47.:13:53.

became world champion but this is someone whose significance went way

:13:54.:13:58.

beyond sport and politics and he trance ends.

:13:59.:14:04.

His fight against injustice, intolerance, the pitch that anyone

:14:05.:14:07.

can achieve their dream still resonates. He is a cultural icon, to

:14:08.:14:15.

those on the streets, he was and still remains the greatest.

:14:16.:14:20.

Well, the memorial service is due to start in a couple of hours' time.

:14:21.:14:27.

Who else would have eulogize delivered by a sports commentator,

:14:28.:14:37.

top Hollywood actor and comedian and politicians, they are all great

:14:38.:14:45.

orators but still, capturing that outsized personality will be no many

:14:46.:14:47.

Our top story this evening: feat for them.

:14:48.:14:51.

The Queen kicks off three days of celebrations

:14:52.:14:53.

And still to come: JK Rowling on Harry Potter's latest adventure.

:14:54.:15:04.

In the sport, I'm live in Paris for Euro 2016 doters day as we look

:15:05.:15:12.

ahead to the start of the tournament.

:15:13.:15:23.

Euro 2016 kicks off tonight in France as the hosts

:15:24.:15:26.

take on Romania in Paris amid unprecedented

:15:27.:15:27.

It's seven months since the terror attacks in the city which left

:15:28.:15:33.

More than 90,000 police, soldiers and private guards have

:15:34.:15:37.

been deployed as seven million fans are expected to visit

:15:38.:15:39.

Our Sports Editor Dan Roan is in Paris , the tight security

:15:40.:15:46.

That's right, no surprise when you consider this, one of the biggest

:15:47.:15:56.

international sports events to be staged in the world this year is

:15:57.:16:01.

about to get under way in a country that is still in a national state of

:16:02.:16:06.

emergency and hanging over the the tournament is a sense of

:16:07.:16:09.

trepidation. But it represents anticipation and celebration too.

:16:10.:16:13.

Because France you sense does need this tournament to go well after a

:16:14.:16:18.

blighted build up of terrorism, floods and of strikes. It could

:16:19.:16:22.

provide it with a much-needed release. The first arrivals at the

:16:23.:16:30.

Paris fan park as Euro 2016 starts. After so much pain and pressure,

:16:31.:16:36.

this the night France looks to sport to lift the nation. The 90,000

:16:37.:16:41.

expected here refusing to be deterred by the security operation.

:16:42.:16:48.

The message of resilience. We try to keep believing as before, because we

:16:49.:16:56.

cannot keep, stay at home... Always. The French team in the final or

:16:57.:17:01.

something it will be good for all the French people. Here at the

:17:02.:17:05.

national stadium, where the Paris attacks began with suicide bombings

:17:06.:17:10.

in November, fans of France and Romania have been arriving early. We

:17:11.:17:16.

come to enjoy that game and to be honest, I don't think about nothing

:17:17.:17:21.

about terrorism. We need to feel that we are not afraid. To the

:17:22.:17:28.

world. We can enjoy the stadium. We can play football. And not afraid

:17:29.:17:35.

about this. But this is the last thing Euro 2016 needed before the

:17:36.:17:41.

tournament had started. Violence in Marseille last night between local

:17:42.:17:45.

youths and England fans. Police deploying tear gas to break up a

:17:46.:17:51.

brawl outside a pub. Tonight Roy Hodgson's squad arrived in Marseille

:17:52.:17:55.

and took the opportunity to familiarise themselves with the

:17:56.:17:57.

Stade Velodrome where they play Russia tomorrow. We know what we can

:17:58.:18:02.

do, we know we have a team that if we perform to they the level we

:18:03.:18:09.

think we can, it will make it difficult for any opponent. Wales

:18:10.:18:13.

fans have been relishing their first appearance in a major Championship

:18:14.:18:19.

since the 1958 World Cup. Slovakia their opponents tomorrow in

:18:20.:18:22.

Bordeaux. It is not the time to sit back and enjoy the moment. The time

:18:23.:18:29.

is to enjoy the moment, but do what we can. Perform like we can perform

:18:30.:18:34.

and then we will enjoy the moment. To complete the weekend for the home

:18:35.:18:38.

nations, Northern Ireland in their first ever European Championship

:18:39.:18:41.

finals face Poland in Nice on Sunday. This newly ex-panelleded --

:18:42.:18:51.

expanded tournament is bigger and more important than at any point

:18:52.:18:52.

before. As we heard there, Wales,

:18:53.:18:55.

England and Northern Ireland Our correspondents are with each

:18:56.:18:57.

of the camps this evening, as they make their final

:18:58.:19:01.

preparations - and we can Let's go to Bordeaux first

:19:02.:19:04.

and Hywell Griffith. The first of up to 30,000 Welsh fans

:19:05.:19:23.

have arrived by train, car, boat and bicycle to see the end of the wait

:19:24.:19:30.

for major tournament football. Their captain said he feels like a kid

:19:31.:19:34.

before Christmas. One sleep to go he said. Tomorrow, Wales will have to

:19:35.:19:39.

sing the anthems and justify their place on that big stage. For now,

:19:40.:19:44.

emotions are running high in Team Wales. In the last hour in Marseille

:19:45.:19:59.

we have heard from Wayne Rooney who was in resilient mood when he was

:20:00.:20:03.

asked where wz his favourite position to play, he said, simply,

:20:04.:20:09.

on the pitch. But all that positivity may be overshadowed by

:20:10.:20:12.

events in the old port in Marseille. We have had reports in the last half

:20:13.:20:18.

an hour of more trouble involving England fans, bottles being thrown

:20:19.:20:24.

and French police using tear gas. Fans will have noticed a difference

:20:25.:20:29.

in the way the French police handle crowds, compared to British police

:20:30.:20:33.

at home at Premier League games. For everybody here the fans and players,

:20:34.:20:36.

tomorrow's game can't come soon enough. That is the latest from the

:20:37.:20:46.

England camp. Here in the countryside outside of Lyon,

:20:47.:20:49.

Northern Ireland prepare to leave their base tomorrow and travel to

:20:50.:20:52.

Nice for their opening game with Poland. 40,000 Northern Irish fans

:20:53.:20:58.

are expected to come and support the team. There is a huge a amount of

:20:59.:21:06.

enthusiasm around the squad who may be outsider, but arrive full of

:21:07.:21:11.

belief. The good news is that Kyle Lafferty said he is going to be fit

:21:12.:21:14.

for their opening game with Poland. He like most of the Northern Ireland

:21:15.:21:19.

team was not even born the last time this country played in a major

:21:20.:21:21.

tournament. Thank you. The partner of the former Eastenders

:21:22.:21:36.

actress, Sian Blake, has admitted murdering her

:21:37.:21:38.

and their two children. Arthur Simpson-Kent,

:21:39.:21:40.

who's 49, pleaded guilty when he appeared by video link

:21:41.:21:42.

at the Old Bailey this morning. Mr Simpson-Kent was extradited

:21:43.:21:44.

from Ghana in February, having fled Our Home Affairs correspondent

:21:45.:21:47.

June Kelly reports. He killed his whole

:21:48.:21:50.

family, left the country and then was arrested

:21:51.:21:51.

in the Today, thousands of miles from here,

:21:52.:21:53.

Arthur Simpson-Kent came before a British judge and pleaded

:21:54.:22:00.

guilty to a triple murder. He took the lives of his partner,

:22:01.:22:05.

the former Eastenders actress Sian Blake

:22:06.:22:08.

and their two boys Zachary, who was eight on the left and

:22:09.:22:11.

four-year-old Amon. After they were reported missing,

:22:12.:22:15.

police began digging up the guarden at the family

:22:16.:22:18.

home at Erith in Kent By then, Arthur Simpson-Kent was a

:22:19.:22:20.

fugitive and had travelled to this

:22:21.:22:29.

coastal area of Ghana. He had been here for some weeks

:22:30.:22:31.

when locals realised he was a wanted man, because his

:22:32.:22:34.

picture was circulating on They contacted the police and he was

:22:35.:22:36.

arrested and then extradited Today, Sian Blake's sister said

she was relieved that Scotland Yard said

:22:43.:22:47.

Sian's close knit-family had been devastated

:22:48.:22:51.

by the loss of two generations in a

:22:52.:22:53.

completely senseless act of murder. So six months after he fled

:22:54.:22:59.

the countly trying to evade justice, Arthur Simpson-Kent has now pleaded

:23:00.:23:02.

guilty to three counts of murder. He wasn't in court for

:23:03.:23:07.

today's brief hearing. He appeared by video

:23:08.:23:09.

link from prison. October when he will be

:23:10.:23:12.

sentenced for his crimes. She's one of the most successful

:23:13.:23:16.

writers in the world. JK Rowling's Harry Potter books have

:23:17.:23:24.

sold hundreds of millions of copies, and spawned a series

:23:25.:23:27.

of blockbuster movies. Now, she's preparing for the latest

:23:28.:23:30.

Potter instalment - a two part play. It's called Harry Potter

:23:31.:23:33.

and the Cursed Child Our arts editor, Will Gompertz,

:23:34.:23:35.

has been speaking to JK Rowling and those involved

:23:36.:23:39.

in creating the play. Just so we are clear, you're the

:23:40.:23:53.

writer, you're the director, John and you're the creator. But you're

:23:54.:23:59.

all credited as writers. How did that actually work? Well the three

:24:00.:24:09.

of us kind of talked and discussed and thought about the story through

:24:10.:24:14.

discussions that Jack write down. We didn't start writing the play until

:24:15.:24:18.

we had agreed on what that story was. Absolutely and I tried to write

:24:19.:24:24.

a script. Well, you did write a script. That is very

:24:25.:24:29.

self-deprecated. Jack produced an amazing script. What has been your

:24:30.:24:33.

overriding concerns, what has kept you awake at night? I don't think I

:24:34.:24:39.

realised how anxious I was to tell you the absolute truth. This is

:24:40.:24:44.

putting me back ten years. Potter attracted a lot of madness and a lot

:24:45.:24:51.

of hype and going back into that place I realised on Wednesday

:24:52.:24:54.

morning how anxious that had made me, because I know that I knew how

:24:55.:25:01.

much expectation there would be. I didn't want the let fans down. Is

:25:02.:25:08.

there a sense in your own mind that you don't own Potter any more. It is

:25:09.:25:12.

owned by the fan base. I wouldn't go that far! Because that would be I'm

:25:13.:25:19.

shedly serious, that would be to disavow what that world was to me.

:25:20.:25:24.

For 17 years that world was mine and for even years it was entirely mine.

:25:25.:25:31.

Not a soul knew about it. I can't uproot that from the personal

:25:32.:25:34.

experiences and say I'm throwing that away. As a fan, can I say you

:25:35.:25:40.

want it to be her world and not our world. It is her world that we have

:25:41.:25:46.

been allowed to play? In a way, Jack and Joe had it easy, they were

:25:47.:25:52.

dealing with the world of imagination. You have to make it

:25:53.:25:57.

reality on stage. It is not all bells and whistles and glitter, guns

:25:58.:26:03.

and cannons. A lot of it is very simple magic and illusion and stage

:26:04.:26:12.

craft. So touch wood there is not a lot can go wrong. Hearing those

:26:13.:26:17.

words on camera, there is not much that can go wrong! I'm pressing my

:26:18.:26:22.

leg against the wooden leg of the chair! We have done it very

:26:23.:26:29.

carefully, so it is not kind of a wing and a prayer. Can you imagine

:26:30.:26:34.

ever creating another world which has such a profound impact as the

:26:35.:26:40.

Potter world? No. And nor would I want to. I feel as though I did

:26:41.:26:48.

that. And I love it. It takes up so much mental space. It takes the up a

:26:49.:26:52.

lot of space in the actual world now. I think I would be on a fool's

:26:53.:26:59.

errand to try and do that again. Thank you all very much.

:27:00.:27:03.

Our Arts Editor Will Gompertz, speaking to the creators

:27:04.:27:05.

Can you conjure up some decent weather. Some people maybe affected

:27:06.:27:21.

by the weather not in Hertfordshire, where it was 24 degrees. But in the

:27:22.:27:27.

north, in Derbyshire some very wet weather left some flooded roads. As

:27:28.:27:33.

we continue tonight we will keep the thundery down pours going and there

:27:34.:27:36.

could be some travel disruption. Earlier we had thunder storms across

:27:37.:27:40.

Northern Ireland. Those will faded. This is the main area of storms and

:27:41.:27:46.

rain affecting the north Midlands and northern England and some storms

:27:47.:27:52.

around Bristol. The storms will continue, moving across the north of

:27:53.:27:57.

England. We could see some rain slither into the south-west of

:27:58.:28:00.

England later in the night. A lot of cloud. That will keep the

:28:01.:28:05.

temperature up, except in the north-east of Scotland. Tomorrow

:28:06.:28:09.

another messy day. Some sunshine, but some showers and longer

:28:10.:28:12.

specimens of rain and as things warm up, we will see the heavy showers

:28:13.:28:17.

developing again. As we head into the afternoon there could be some

:28:18.:28:21.

heavy showers and thunder storms in Northern Ireland. More cloud, a

:28:22.:28:27.

full, damp day in Scotland. Watch out for more heavy showers, mainly

:28:28.:28:32.

in North Wales and the Midlands and parts of northern England and some

:28:33.:28:36.

rain in the far south-west. Some storms heading to the south-east

:28:37.:28:40.

later in the day. But it is in the south-east we will see the best of

:28:41.:28:45.

the warmth. With luck it will stay dry for the trooping of the colour.

:28:46.:28:50.

A lot of cloud, but bright and warm too. Not much sunshine as we head

:28:51.:28:55.

into Sunday. If you stay dry on Sunday, you're lucky. We have

:28:56.:28:59.

showers and longer spells of rain and temperatures lower. Thank you.

:29:00.:29:03.

That's all from the BBC News at Six, so it's goodbye from me

:29:04.:29:07.
